Wand: Curly 14 Inch Sturdy Maple Wand with Erumpent Hide Core

Length: A little on the longer side of things, wands of this length are slightly more uncommon and not easily forgotten by others.
Style: Great care was taken in crafting this wand's wood to spiral to its point, giving it a beautiful aesthetic quality.
Wood: Made of Maple, the wandwood of the adventurous, the wand will expect to never settle for one place or one thing for very long.
Core: Erumpent hide cores help to create unstable and unreliable wands. It tends to add quite the punch to spells, making them more powerful than they should be at the most inopportune of moments.
Flexibility: Sturdy: A solid wand for any witch or wizard - easy to use, and highly dependable.
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor

Appearance
Hair: Straight, auburn, and just longer than her shoulders, Lizzie usually prefers to keep her hair tied up and out of the way, so it doesn't distract her or get in the way.
Eyes:Dark brown, long lashed and mischevious, always looking for the nearest way to have fun.
Build:Around average height, Lizzie is plump for her age, but also carrying a solid layer of muscle, and people often underestimate how strong she is.

Style:Practical and casual, Lizzie likes jeans, t-shirts and sweaters, but she's always most comfortable in cosy winter layers.

Playby: Mary Lambert

Personal
Personality: Lizzie is active and cheerful, tending to find her time wasted if she's not doing something physical or social with it. She always has a story or a joke to break the ice, and while she's not used to having permanent friends, she's very good at meeting new people quickly. Most of her attention and energy (of which there is a lot) is devoted to sports, and when she's not doing sports it seems to bubble over into her enthusiastic speech and mannerisms.
Strengths:
-Lizzie finds it very easy to talk to people and make conversation, she puts people at ease and is rarely awkward in any situations.
-Lizzie has a lot of energy, and enjoys taking on new projects and giving them her full attention.
-Lizzie sees the positive in most things, and tends to have a very sunny outlook on life in general.
Weaknesses:
-Lizzie has a very short attention span, and if something isn't holding her focus she can lose interest very quickly.
-Lizzie can be self centered at times, especially when competing. She's not always a very good team player, and while she doesn't get too aggressive about it, she DOES like to win.
Hobbies:
Quidditch and Flying - Lizzie's dad taught her to fly, and they spent most of her childhood playing quidditch in groups of various sizes.
Winter Sports - Growing up in a ski lodge, Lizzie learned to ski and snowboard very young, and spent a lot of her childhood with her dad out on the slopes.
Cats - Lizzie loves cats. Everything about cats. Cat pictures, cat cuddles, cat meows, cat faces. Cats are good.
Personality Type: ESFP (The Entertainer)
If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, it is the Entertainer personality type. Entertainers get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and want everyone else to feel that way, too. No other personality type is as generous with their time and energy as Entertainers when it comes to encouraging others, and no other personality type does it with such irresistible style.

Strengths: Bold, Original, Aesthetics and Showmanship, Practical, Observant, Excellent People Skills
Weaknesses: Sensitive, Conflict-Averse, Easily Bored, Poor Long-Term Planners, Unfocused
History: Lizzie's mother Alison was the black sheep halfblood daughter of a pureblood family, attending Hogwarts Scotland in her youth. Despite following her family into Slytherin, she was never treated well by them, and as soon as she was old enough she fled to New Zealand, as far away as possible, where she met Mark, a recent HNZ graduate Gryffindor, who fell in love with her at first sight, and promised to help her make New Zealand her home. It took Alison a long time to warm up to Mark, but she fell for him on a ski trip their group of friends took in Queenstown, and a few years later, Mark had saved enough to live his dream of buying a lodge there. They worked together to set up a magical holiday resort, with Alison running the lodge and Mark teaching all sorts of winter sports to wizards who wanted to practice them without fear of muggles passing by, and shortly after Alison and Mark married, Lizzie was born. She immediately took more after her active, adventurous father, tailing him on ski lessons and spending the quiet summers playing quidditch all afternoon. The lodge was a rowdy place to grow up, and Lizzie never had many permanent friends, but she enjoyed making friends with all the kids who passed through, showing them the ropes on the slopes and passing on all the ghost stories she had heard over the years by campfire. Two years after Lizzie was born, her sister Caroline joined the family, and while at first Lizzie took to doting on her and fussing over her, the excitement wore off fast, and she was never a particularly involved big sister afterwards, preferring to go out and have adventures by herself or with her father, than wait for her little sister to try and catch up, and the two were never particularly close.
Health: Asides from a couple of broken bones here and there, Lizzie has always been in excellent health, and is very physically fit.

Finally getting to Hogwarts and following her father's footsteps into Gryffindor was a multitude of dreams come true for Lizzie. She settled into her dorm quickly and made a group of good friends to hang out with and mess about with in class, most notably Zara Lovette and Evelyn Manning. Missing the regular sports she was used to at home, Lizzie lamented not being able to try out for Quidditch in first year, and mourned it even more when she found out that several of her dormmates had been able to try out early and gotten onto the team. Upset and restless, Lizzie began flying by herself and jogging regularly, just for something to do to burn off her excess energy, but nothing was able to replace what she missed about home. Lizzie was never a very dedicated student, and with nothing else to do the whole year wound up feeling almost wasted to her and she was eager to return home and finally hit the slopes, supposing that at least she had managed to make some good friends, if nothing else.

Mum and dad had told Lizzie that Hogwarts was grand and beautiful, but none of her anticipation could have prepared her for the twinkling ceiling and roaring fires of the Great Hall. It was just like home, except a million times grander and more beautiful. She stared around in awe, bouncing on her toes, too excited to stand still. She was really here! It was really time! Time for sorting! Time for magic! Time for flying, and going to Quidditch games, and exploring the castle, for living all the stories her parents told her about how wonderful Hogwarts was, and making a few stories of her own.

Lizzie watched eagerly as the first few students were sorted, but her attention quickly began to wander again, eyes roaming the hall. Why did her name have to fall so late in the alphabet? As the sorting hat worked through the list, Lizzie's impatient shifting became more pronounced, heart and mind racing as she considered which house she would be put in. Would she follow her father to Gryffindor, or her mother to Slytherin, or forge a path of her own in one of the other houses? The slowly filling tables looked so inviting, a new home, a new family, and new adventures about to start, and as the names finally ticked into the S-es Lizzie perked up even more, beginning to scoot closer to the front of the dwindling pack, each moment feeling as though it was dragging by, until finally...

"Taylor, Elizabeth."

Lizzie bounded up to the stool, settling down eagerly, hands drumming on her lap with excitement as the hat was set atop her head.

In the holidays before Lizzie's second year, there was an incident with a boy staying at her family's lodge, who kissed her while Lizzie was giving him a snowboarding lesson. Torn, revolted, and upset about the incident, Lizzie returned to Hogwarts far more withdrawn from her friends. Her inner struggles didn't stop her from trying out for the Quidditch team though, and to her surprise managing to get the position of Beater. Her excitement at the position was dashed when playing a real game proved much harder than practice at home, and she failed to hit a single bludger during their games. After a tough practice, she had a heart to heart with her captain, Archie Renner, both about her Quidditch worries, and the growing suspicion she was getting that she wouldn't have been upset by the kiss had it come from a girl. Archie, being gay himself, helped Lizzie come to terms with how she was feeling and accept that it was alright to feel that way, and with his support, after attending her first ever Pride event, Lizzie felt brave enough to accept the term lesbian, and the relief and freedom the title gave her helped boost the return of her usual self-confidence.

Lizzie's third year started out in a better place than her second, or so she thought. She was excited to finally be spending her school experience with her little sister, but wound up hurt after Caro didn't want anything to do with her. Quidditch continued to be a source of both joy and frustration, with defeats and struggles following Lizzie's playing. At the Yule Ball, Lizzie ran into a girl she had met the previous year, and was struck by just how lovely she looked all dressed up. A tiny well of feelings beginning to brew, Lizzie began to really think for the first time how she might like to go about attempting to ask someone out, the matter now complicated by her sister's presence at Hogwarts.

Ever a social chameleon, Lizzie's year was spent with a variety of friends and acquaintances, having fun and adventures. Though, the less said about the skiing lesson she was forced to give her only enemy at Hogwarts, the better. With the Gryffindor team going from strength to strength Lizzie kept her focus on her game and all the practice finally paid off, success after success boosting the girl's confidence. Although they didn't win the final match Gryffindor won the cup and the chance to play Beauxbatons, who were formidable enough enemies that Lizzie didn't even mind losing to them.

Over the holidays Lizzie met up with a few friends in the shops, and began being more open about her sexuality with people she trusted. Returning to school, Lizzie was delighted to find the mentor of her second year had returned to school as a professor, and reunited happily with Archie. She continued exchanging letters with Elvira, the Beauxbatons seeker she had befriended in the previous year, and when Elvira came to stay with her in the christmas holidays, the two shared a brief romance, which sadly had to end when Elvira returned to France. Trying not to let it get to her, Lizzie stayed focused on Quidditch, giving her all in games and spending most of her free time training. It was while she was practicing that she met Hayley, a Slytherin girl from a younger year, and the two became quick friends. When they encountered one another at the Pride celebrations it became clear that they were drawn to each other, and Lizzie somewhat awkwardly asked Hayley out. After a heart racingly triumphant cup win, and an achingly close loss against Beauxbatons, Lizzie ended the year by taking Hayley out for a flying date by the lakeside.

Lizzie started her year off with a bang, throwing a huge party in the holidays with half the school in attendance. Still buzzing from that success, Lizzie spent the rest of her holiday teaching skiing lessons at home, and coaching Jacob Kingsley to join the Quidditch team. A team which, to Lizzie's crushing disappointment, she hadn't been chosen to lead. Lizzie spent the beginning of the year fighting her hurt from that decision, though her happy relationship with Hayley helped to ease things somewhat.
After an accidental sighting in the corridor, Lizie finally came out to her disinterested sister, and after years of feuding, they reached the closest thing to an accord they had had in years. Although that, and the fun of rose deliveries were a high in the middle of Lizzie's year, things soon came crashing back down, as Gryffindor were defeated for the Quidditch cup, and her relationship with Hayley ended in ruins after a heated disagreement. With everything that had gone wrong Lizzie was just overwhelmingly glad to have the year finished with, eager to get away from Hogwarts and get some space from her problems.

Lizzie's final year at Hogwarts began bittersweet. She was named the Quidditch captain, and though it fell on the one year that the Quidditch cup was cancelled, Lizzie kept her head up, determined to lead her team the best she could and ensure that Gryffindor was set up for future success. Putting her breakup with Hayley behind her, Lizzie turned all of her attention to Quidditch, focusing largely on the game. She spared some time for friends, especially her teammates, and was extremely happy to have the opportunity to help organise the annual rose deliveries with her friend Rose Holland. Although she had expected to be excited for the future, Lizzie found her graduation quite painful, torn between anticipation of the life ahead of her, and sorrow at the life she was leaving behind at Hogwarts. Nevertheless, Lizzie graduated school with her head held high, and stepped out of Hogwarts to enter the rest of her life, knowing she would never forget the bonds she had made in her time at school.

Lizzie knew there was more beyond today, more bigger and better things on her horizon than she could possibly count, but it was difficult to focus on those on her last day at school. It was hard not to linger on everything she was leaving behind - friends, teammates, memories. Lizzie knew that her time at school would always be a part of her, one she carried close to her heart, but the thought that her final visit to the Quidditch Pitch was over, her last moments in her dorm were behind her, she had eaten her last meal in the Great Hall, it was all bizarre and painful and emotional.

Lizzie didn't especially relish the fact of having to sit through a bunch of speeches, but she was glad, at least, that Flavio was giving one of them. She had come to respect the boy as an opponent and fellow captain, and she listened with interest, heart aching with the split she felt between sadness over everything she was leaving behind, and everything life had left to bring her. She was less excited to hear Amber speak, taking a moment to glance around, trying to commit this experience to memory forever. She was only going to get one graduation, one last day with all of these people in this amazing place, and Lizzie didn't ever want to forget it. Once the speeches were over, it really struck Lizzie. This was it. She would get her diploma, and then she would be a graduate. An adult, striking out to carve her own path in life, with a world full of potential ready for her. Lizzie was deeply torn between that excitement and the deep, aching sadness at leaving, and she felt almost numb as she got to her feet when her name was called.

The Lizzie of yesterday had joked about how she was gonna fly in and grab her diploma from the Headmistress's hand, had remarked with bravado about starting a 'Go, go, Gryffindor!' chant from the stage, but the Lizzie of today felt no such levity. She didn't think she had ever been solemn in her life before, but that was the only word for how she felt as she stepped onto the stage, heartbeat racing through her as she accepted her diploma. The end of her time at school. Lizzie hated this somber feeling, and after taking a moment to collect herself, forced a bright grin and wave to her classmates and friends as she stepped down from the stage, trying to brush aside the moment of melancholy she had felt. This was really it. Nothing to be gained now from dwelling on what she was saying goodbye to, as Lizzie took her seat again, she was still smiling slightly, thinking of the bright future on her horizon.
