Lizzie's last delivery for the day was another Slytherin, and after a full day of running around the castle, Lizzie relished the chance to find him at the dinner table. Making her way down the Slytherin table she quickly spotted a boy she was.... reasonably sure was the one she was looking for, and approached him with a smile. "Hey, you're Rory Fergusson, right?" Lizzie asked cheerfully, not wanting to let her tiredness ruin the happy experience of getting a rose.

Rory liked sending the roses, mostly because it was just the sort of occasion where he could play around a bit. Send ones that he maybe shouldn't send, like the nearly yearly ones for Evelyn flirting with her lightly, or the one he sent Anabelle without a note. He liked anabelle as a friend, but thought it might be interesting to see her reaction to a single pink rose sent without a note. he was interrupted from his breakfast and thoughts as someone asked for him. "Aye," he replied simply, waiting for her to continue or say what she wanted to say to him.

Lizzie smiled, relieved that she had found the right person. "Hey, I've got a rose delivery for you." She said happily, picking the last bright yellow rose out of her basket. She double checked that the message had the right name on it, then handed them both over to Rory with a smile. "Here you are, happy Valentines Day!"
Rory,
Thank you for being apart of the Slytherin Quidditch Team. I hope you have a good Valentine's Day
From,
Charlotte.

Rory took the rose and the note, but didn't bother looking at the note, he didn't care what had been said. He didn't need to know who it was from. He looked at the girl, "Aye, scram now, dinnae stick around," he told the girl bluntly, it didn't matter that this girl was in his year and that he probably shouldn't talk to her like that. He didn't want this girl to be lingering around him any longer than was necessary.

Lizzie was all ready to take her empty basket on her way and go get something to eat when the boy spoke up, and unlike all her other conversations today, this boy wasn't wishing Lizzie a happy Valentines Day, or thanking her for the delivery. No, he was being rude, and right at the dinner table too. "Watch your manners." She said firmly, eyeing the boy. "That's no way to talk to someone, especially with younger students around." Lizzie didn't consider herself a stickler for rules or etiquette, but she wasn't interested in putting up with unnecessary rudeness.
