Sore everywhere, the Gryffindor slowly opened his eyes. He figured that he'd wake up in the hospital wing eventually, being a target for beaters and all, but didn't think it would happen quite this soon. Embarrassed at the way how he had been taken out of the match, Tomas turned his head both ways in the hope to see more people lying in the hospital beds. How in the world was he supposed to avoid the bludgers if the beaters were basically pros? He sighed and closes his eyes again, wondering which of the two Seekers would catch the little golden ball first.

Sapphire had debated this, but she couldn't help it. She wanted to make sure the guy was alright- especially since she was partly responsible for him being here. After the game was over, she made her way to the Hospital wing. Still wearing her uniform, she approached his bed cautiously. "Hey," She greeted as she neared. Her expression was unreadable as she stopped a few feet away. "How're you holding up?" She waited nervously for his answer, though you wouldn't know it by looking at her.

Tomas opened his eyes at the sound of footsteps approaching his bed and frowned as he recognised the girl as one of the Beaters of the Slytherin team. He sat up straight, though immediately regretted doing so, and smiled at the younger girl. ''Hello,'' the Gryffindor replied, thinking that it was rather nice of her to check up on him. ''Well, I've certainly been better,'' Tomas told the girl. Although the boy really wanted to know which team had won the match, he thought that it'd be quite rude not to ask the girl how she was doing first. ''What about you? You seemed to be doing great out there.''

Sapphire relaxed a touch, offering the boy a small smile. At least he answered her. "Thanks, but your beater was better. The girl? She took out our Seeker, Leda, and we didn't have an alternate so I got put in. Needless to say, Gryffindor won." She told the boy, sitting lightly on the foot of the bed. "May I?" She asked, ready to hop back up if he didn't want the company. Not that she was really good at talking or people in general, but she felt she should at least try. She did hit the kid with a bludger.

As happy as she was about the outcome of the match, Lizzie was also worried about her teammates. This game had been rough on everyone, and she wanted to be sure everyone who was injured was getting taken care of and would be back on their feet before long. She was especially worried about Tomas, and once she had stepped away from the team celebrations her first stop was the hospital wing. She was relieved to see Tomas conscious again and made a beeline for his bedside, giving him a very gentle bop on the shoulder in greeting. "Doing alright, mate?" She asked, grinning. "You played well. We won, but it was pretty close. We took out Slytherin's seeker too, this game got pretty rough."

Jacob had planned on ignoring the referee, but that changed when his mom blocked his exit from the pitch and mothered him into going to the hospital wing. Somehow, he ended up pretty much behind Lizzie and he flopped onto an empty bed, which he quickly regretted because of his back, as he listened to the tail end of what she'd said. "Sorry we couldn't keep you out of the hospital wing, Tomas" Jacob said, though his gaze was on the ceiling. Now that he was laying down, he was pretty sure he was never going to move again. Moving was painful.

As soon as the celebrations had died down on the pitch and Marisol had put her broom away, she made sure to rush over to the Hospital Wing to check on Tomas. She felt it was her duty as a captain to make sure he was okay. Plus he was just so small. She hadn't bothered to change out of her quidditch robes yet, as that could wait, but she did let down her hair to cover up the scars at the back of her neck and shoulder. Once she arrived she smiled as she saw two of her teammates there already, and then the Slytherin girl who was a beater but got put in as a Seeker instead. She wondered what the girl was doing there, glaring at her slightly without a word, and then turned to wave at the two Beaters before focusing her attention on Tomas again. "Hey kid," she greeted him, "how you feeling?" she asked with a small smile. Then she added, "We won by the way," in case he didn't know and was probably feeling guilty for not being there to help his team; this way he could relax knowing they had still come out victoriously.

His eyes widened when the girl told him that Lizzie had taken out the Slytherin Seeker. This meant that there had been an equal chance for both teams again. And then she went on to tell him that Gryffindor had won. ''We did?!'' He exclaimed, sitting up and turning around to look out of the window to see if his teammates were celebrating at the stadium. Though Tomas quickly turned back again, for a brief moment he had forgotten that everything hurt. The Gryffindor nodded his head when she asked if she could sit on the foot of his bed. Moments later three other people joined them and smiled and greeted all three of them happily now that he knew they had won the match. ''I'm fine now,'' Tomas told Lizzie and Marisol and then turned to Jacob. ''It was bound to happen eventually, though next time I'm definitely staying close to one of you guys,'' he said. ''How's the rest of the team doing?'' He asked, hoping they were alright

Sapphire was a little tense to be surrounded by Gryffindors. The beater didn't seem to notice her, and Jacob didn't acknowledge her presence either. It was the Captain that glared at her. She ignored that, but moved to sit at the foot of Jacobs bed instead.

She nudged his foot, trying to stay out of the way of the girls around Tomas. "Hey," she greeted her friend quietly. "Sorry to hit you. Believe it or not it was an accident." She grinned sheepishly at Jacob.

Lizzie was relieved to see Jacob following her into the hospital wing, hoping someone would be by to look at his injuries soon. She hoped Gabriel would show up soon too, he had definitely been looking worse for wear. Before long Marisol had joined them too, and Lizzie was relieved so many people had come to check on their teammate. She smiled seeing Tomas's excitement at their win, relieved that he seemed to be doing fine now. Lizzie smiled, ruffling his hair gently. "We'll keep more of an eye on you in the next match, don't worry." She shrugged in response to his question. "Most people are fine. Jacob and Gabriel got the worst of it, after you. They should be getting seen to, then they'll be fine." She added, relieved to see Jacob had settled into a bed when she glanced over at him.

Jacob was still laying across the bed, his feet dangling off the side and he kicked his shoes off slowly, the pain in his leg and back throbbing. He felt the nudge and the depression as Sapphire sat beside him, though he had been listening more to Tomas. "Probably not a great idea" he called out jokingly, seeing as he'd taken much more damage than he had dealt during the game. Finally, he turned his attention to Sapphire, his gaze still very fixed on the ceiling. "Lies! You've been trying to murder me on the pitch since you met me" he laughed and then ended on an "ow, ow...don't make me laugh." Pain was everywhere.
