The Zhefarovich family are large, containing three branches, with one typically being the main branch, which is the darkest, another being the more likely to be in businesses, and the last branch being the quietest and also the more pleasant if one could consider them pleasant at all. Most of the Zhefarovich family are pure-blooded, and have laws and strict rules which they are known for, and many are either Death Eaters or associated with them. They are known for their tightness and also on how they hate muggles and anything to do with them. While allying with some other families, the Zhefarovich do control others. They are very isolated, and while some people consider them to be legendary, they are also very hostile and malevolent, and will not stop a fight until they die from it. History:
The Zhefarovich family has also been known for the Dark Arts and their blood status. And as for Asparuh and Arnost, they grew up just the same. Azazel Zhefarovich and Lydia Zhefarovich, formally Nozhetvakas, parented Asparuh Zhefarovich as well as his twin Arnost. Azazel and Lydia, both Durmstrang students and knew all about Dark magic, decided that Asparuh and Arnost needed to be raised the same way. Asparuh grew pride in knowing that his family was full Bulgarian and pure-blood, and didn't like the traitors in the family marrying outside of Bulgaria, or other races as a matter of fact. Asparuh also did not like the fact that he had a little brother in the house either. Azazel and Lydia sent Asparuh off to Durmstrang. He was an excellent student. He graduated from Durmstrang in 1968. Azazel and Lydia set up an arrangement to marry Liyla Mirayinova in 1970, even after his affairs with Danielle Lefevre. Asparuh went to England in 1968 and lived there for a bit. In 1969, Asparuh met Lord Voldemort and joined his clan of Death Eaters. Asparuh followed Voldemort on almost every mission. However, Asparuh Zhefarovich, known as a powerful pure-blood for his age and with a dark family history, he was a pawn for a woman named Lilivek Choroleeva, older sister of Ladonna Mirayinov. She drugged Asparuh to try to force him to give her a pure-blood spawn, which did not work. Asparuh Zhefarovich II, Patriarch at the time, was not happy with this at all. He gave his grandson Asparuh the title of Viscount, only if he killed Lilivek for doing this. Thrilled with this mission and embarrassment of the result, Asparuh came in, murdered her and took his firstborn child to be named Kalif Ivaylo Zhefarovich III (hidden from the fact that he had another mother), in 1972. Asparuh hid the true mother. A year later, he had to rinse and repeat.

After that event, Asparuh fled to Varna, Bulgaria. Asparuh recruited many Death Eaters in the 1970s and became their leader, somewhat. In 1973, Asparuh managed to earn the title of Patriarch of the Zhefarovich family. Asparuh then decided to start his own business, seeing that his wealth would not last forever. He began the company Zhefarovich Products, selling magical items, along with the Dark items as well, in Sliven, Bulgaria. Asparuh was never home to raise his child, so Liyla followed his orders to raise Kalif to be a powerful Dark wizard and become loyal to the Dark Lord. Asparuh received many letters from the Ministry to shut down his company or at least, stop selling Dark Art products. Asparuh would not obey. While at home, watching over his son at age five, on the date November 18th, 1979, several Ministry officials and two Dementors captured Asparuh and sent him to Azkaban for a sentence of three years after the trial. Asparuh grew pleased with Kalif and Liyla, for their loyalty to the Dark Arts. Asparuh behaved well in Azkaban, and avoided the Kiss. In 1982, he was released from Azkaban. Kalif was sent to Hogwarts and sorted in Slytherin in 1984, with his younger brother sorted in Slytherin in 1985. He then had affairs with Danielle Lefevre , whose family was entirely loyal to either the Dark Arts or the Dark Lord. Asparuh had also had a son named Prodan Vassil Zhefarovich with Liyla. He committed himself to confinement without the knowledge of his new child in 1985. If he had discovered even one Death Eater acting out of line, or proving his disloyalty, Asparuh would kill them then and there. He had murdered so many traitors, some of his Death Eater subjects grew terrified of Asparuh, and he decided to not be the leader of them anymore, and they had to fend for themselves.

In 1991, Kalif graduated as Slytherin Head Boy. Asparuh was very pleased with Kalif's obsession with the Dark Arts. In 1995, Kalif was sent to Azkaban, by Mad-Eye Moody, but not after killing more Aurors in the process. In the same year, Prodan were sent to Durmstrang because he could not live up to Kalif's reputation, also, Liyla had triplets, Axel, Benjamen and Chavdar Zhefarovich. Prodan struggled with his inner darkness, and broke many rules. He, too, was sentenced to Azkaban within the first year of Durmstrang, but for only six months. He never bothered with his new son, Chavdar either, and favored Axel and Benjamen. He caused Liyla to bear yet another child, but she put her up for adoption, and it displeased Asparuh. He witnessed the fall of the Dark Lord, and grew silent and withdrawn until Prodan graduated from Durmstrang in 2002. Asparuh lived with his issues and appeared to be normal. In 2004, Kalif was in a relationship with Namina, who was carrying a son at the time, not by Kalif. Asparuh hated her, and as soon as the boy was born, he killed the woman. He allowed Kalif to adopt the boy now named Jaken. In 2009, Asparuh caused Liyla to have one more child, who was put up for adoption as well. Asparuh suddenly lashed out at Liyla, and supposedly murdered her in front of Chavdar. However, she actually survived and ran from Asparuh, holding and hiding the fifth and final child from him. Asparuh sent Chavdar to the orphanage. Asparuh killed the Auror, Mirchov Konstantin, he dueled with, and hid his body. Asparuh fled to Russia and stayed, until 2015. He had successfully faked his death, dodged the Kiss, and went back to Sliven, Bulgaria. Now that the business was relocated to Varna, Bulgaria, Asparuh was free from marriage.

Asparuh kidnapped his own son, Prodan, who had a family of his own. He had a fiance with a french woman, and also had a child already. Asparuh disowned the child, seeing him as unworthy, without even meeting him. Asparuh tried to brainwash Prodan to give in to the Dark Arts, but his reluctance irritated Asparuh to no end. Asparuh found that only Prodan wouldn't marry. Prodan could not escape Asparuh's clutches. Asparuh allowed Prodan to go out once, and he conceived a child in his drunken stupor. Asparuh raised the kid as his own, never allowing Prodan near him. He sentences the kid to never leave the Manor, and forced him to dig graves for the rest of his life. Asparuh still goes about, doing his Death Eater deeds all over the world. Asparuh continues to jump from continent and country, while successfully keep hidden from the Ministry, any Ministry. Asparuh finds his daughter, and fought to win over her trust. After having a huge battle with Chavdar, they finally end it with a truce, both having received wounds and it ending in a tie, plus Kalif and Prodan separating them as well. Asparuh acts as the Patriarch of the Zhefarovich family, and still resents Dorothee, with a passion enough to want to murder her for good. He is unaware at this time that he is about to become a grandfather again, by Chavdar and Sofya Dragonov. Although, no one knows how he would react to that. Arnost and Asparuh reunited soon after his grandchildren were born, but Asparuh still showed that he is much stronger than Arnost.

Asparuh had many dramatic issues in his family, from having Arnost fall in love with Thorine and giving her a spawn and from having a mudblood interfere in the family. Asparuh killed off Dorothee and her sister, and was glad that their deaths meant a lot to Prodan. That also assisted in having Prodan get together with another fair maiden, Cecily Rambolt. After discovering that Estrella was married to his adopted grandson and was pregnant, he invited Valcan over to see for himself. Though not long after that, he too was drugged. Again. This time, by Thorine herself. She conceived an heir with him which in turn caused him to unless hell on earth with Arnost, almost injuring him to the point of death. Asparuh discovered that Nataliia is pregnant, and goes hunting. This leads to Asparuh brutally fighting Alphonse to the point where he could almost not walk. It lasted for two hours. Liyla returned and Asparuh had half a mind to kill her, but she returned with their daughter Raven. After that event, Asparuh needed Hades, and in turn, threw Hollace off the roof. He took Hades for some family business. Asparuh assisted in planning an Auror's death, the Head Auror at the time, which also soon led to Thorine's demise much later on. Asparuh had to put Hollace through a series of tests, and kept Hades away from the manor at the same time. Things settled down when he put the symbol on a few new members of the family, and then, Asparuh Gavril Zhefarovich IV was born. He had taken Liyla's life, after a hard decision of having Asparuh decide between the two. Thorine's family brought over his son, Ivaylo Salazar Zhefarovich-Dolohov, and Asparuh took him in whilst the mother was, to his relief, dead. Asparuh met up again with Danielle, and he hopes that things will die down soon, or he would be the one dead. Things take a turn for something unexpected when Danielle suddenly makes a proposition in her mind that Asparuh invades...a marriage between the two of them. Asparuh accepted, and then, under the sacred traditions of the family, he was wed to the Head of the Lefevre family. After this, Asparuh shops for a Death Glass, as he thinks that there must be a way to prevent some deaths. Though it was not long before someone else angered him, his twin brother.

Arnost managed to impregnate three women, and produce several children. He wanted to kill the man, but he did not. Raisa Zhefarovich, his baby sister, was killed and Asparuh was divided between hunting down the Auror or leaving it be. Both laws conflicted with each other, and he chose to leave it be for now. Danielle was pregnant with twins, and Asparuh wondered what else could possibly become of this family, especially now that his dead mother was back and lurking about as a ghost. Axel had asked him a troubling question and Asparuh was relieved that Axel would not adopt the part-veela. Then, it happened, his mother had returned as a ghost, the same day Jaken Styx died. Asparuh did not have enough evidence to avenge Jaken's death, alas, otherwise it would be lawful to go after the man who killed Jaken. After Jaken's funeral, his spawns with that half-blood were none of his concern any longer because Jaken was not truly a Zhefarovich. Instead, his thoughts averted to something else instead. Now he was assisting in training Andromeda Fiorelli, however there was a backlash when he chose to have others train her in the family, let her have access into the Manor as well as give her the full protection like someone under the Zhefarovich's care. Something dark was coming, and Asparuh has been on edge for several months from July of 2027. A war broke out between the Snow Family and the Zhefarovich family, with Arnost killing Alphonse, and Arnost dying from the curses thrown at him. He came back as a ghost, which angered Asparuh. He decided to go find a way to become immortal in 2029, and while on his journey, he left Axel and Benjamen in charge. While he was gone, he found a way to make a Horcrux, and he succeeded. He came back in 2032 to see his family not in the best of shape, and taught Axel and Benjamen a lesson.

In 2033, the family endured another loss, when Benjamen accidentally poisoned Axelle, and killed her. She came back as a ghost immediately, and reunited with her love. Asparuh, on the other hand, was not as pleased as some would have been since Arnost continues to haunt him every moment of the day, this time with Axelle at his side. During some free time, he helped Danielle train Kalif in the art of Occlumency. Asparuh starts to plan on giving his title to his son, but doesn't do so until December of 2039. He continues to rule the family, mostly on the sideline while Kalif is at the school. He remains to be the most powerful member of the Zhefarovich family, and continues to make decisions and arrange marriages based on his own judgment. He lost his wife to age in 2045.

To this day, he is still the most feared Zhefarovich member alive.

The Zhefarovich family has also been known for the Dark Arts and their blood status. And as for Asparuh and Arnost, they grew up just the same. Azazel Zhefarovich and Lydia Nozhetvakas, parented Asparuh Zhefarovich as well as his twin Arnost. Azazel and Lydia, both Durmstrang students and knew all about Dark magic, decided that Asparuh and Arnost needed to be raised the same way. Asparuh grew pride in knowing that his family were full Bulgarian and pureblood, and didn't like the traitors in the family marrying outside of Bulgaria, or other races as a matter of fact. Asparuh also did not like the fact that he had a little brother in the house either. Azazel and Lydia sent Asparuh off to Durmstrang. He was an excellent student. He graduated from Durmstrang in 1968. Azazel set up an arrangement to marry Liyla Mirayinova in 1970, even after his affairs with Danielle Lefevre, against Lydia's wills. Asparuh went to England in 1968 and lived there for a bit. In 1969, Asparuh met Lord Voldemort and joined his clan of Death Eaters. Asparuh followed Voldemort on almost every mission. However, Asparuh Zhefarovich, known as a powerful pureblood for his age and with a dark family history, he was a pawn for a woman named Lilivek Choroleeva, older sister of Ladonna Mirayinov. She drugged Asparuh to try to force him to give her a pureblood spawn, which did not work. Asparuh Zhefarovich II, Patriarch at the time, was not happy with this at all. He gave his grandson Asparuh the title of Viscount, only if he killed Lilivek for doing this. Thrilled with this mission and embarrassment of the result, Asparuh came in and murdered her in 1972. However, due to the current Patriarch not being a fan of children born outside of marriage, let alone to those other than the betrothed, Asparuh hid his firstborn son from the Patriarch, using the tree. A year later, he had to rinse and repeat.

After that event, Asparuh fled to Varna, Bulgaria. Asparuh recruited many Death Eaters in the 1970s and became their leader, somewhat. In 1973, Asparuh managed to earn the title of Patriarch of the Zhefarovich family. Asparuh then decided to start his own business, seeing that his wealth would not last forever. He began the company Zhefarovich Products, selling magical items, along with the Dark items as well, in Sliven, Bulgaria. Asparuh was never home to raise his child, so Liyla followed his orders to raise Kalif to be a powerful Dark wizard and become loyal to the Dark Lord, while Danielle raised Kalif's brother, Kanos, in a similar fashion. Asparuh received many letters from the Ministry to shut down his company or at least, stop selling Dark Art products. Asparuh would not obey. While at home, watching over his son at age five, on the date November 18th, 1979, several Ministry officials and two Dementors captured Asparuh and sent him to Azkaban for a sentence of three years after the trial. Asparuh grew pleased with Kalif and Liyla, for their loyalty to the Dark Arts. Asparuh behaved well in Azkaban, and avoided the Kiss. In 1982, he was released from Azkaban. Kalif was sent to Hogwarts and sorted in Slytherin in 1984, with his younger brother sorted in Slytherin in 1985. He then had more affairs with Danielle Lefevre, whose family was entirely loyal to either the Dark Arts or the Dark Lord. Asparuh had also had a son named Prodan Zhefarovich with Liyla. He committed himself to confinement without the knowledge of his new child in 1985. If he had discovered even one Death Eater acting out of line, or proving his disloyalty, Asparuh would kill them then and there. He had murdered so many traitors, some of his Death Eater subjects grew terrified of Asparuh, and he decided to not be the leader of them anymore, and they had to fend for themselves.

In 1991, Kalif graduated as Slytherin Head Boy. Asparuh was very pleased with Kalif's obsession with the Dark Arts. In 1995, Kalif was sent to Azkaban, by Mad-Eye Moody, but not after killing more Aurors in the process. In the same year, Prodan were sent to Durmstrang because he could not live up to Kalif's reputation, also, Liyla had triplets, Axel, Benjamen and Chavdar Zhefarovich. Prodan struggled with his inner darkness, and broke many rules. He never bothered with his new son, Chavdar either, and favored Axel and Benjamen. He caused Liyla to bear yet another child, but she put her up for adoption out of jealousy for when Danielle came around, and it displeased Asparuh. He witnessed the fall of the Dark Lord, and grew silent and withdrawn until Prodan graduated from Durmstrang in 2002. In 2004, Kalif remained somewhat close to Namina, who was carrying a son at the time, not by Kalif. Asparuh hated her, and as soon as the boy was born, he killed the woman. He allowed Kalif to adopt the boy now named Jaken (who was switched at birth with a Katsaros brother). In 2009, Asparuh caused Liyla to have twins, who were put up for adoption as well. Asparuh suddenly lashed out at Liyla, and supposedly murdered her in front of Chavdar. However, she actually survived and ran from Asparuh, holding and hiding the fifth and final child from him. Asparuh sent Chavdar to the orphanage. Asparuh killed the Auror, Mirchov Konstantin, he dueled with, and hid his body. Asparuh fled to Russia and stayed, until 2015. He had successfully faked his death, dodged the Kiss, and went back to Sliven, Bulgaria. Now that the business was relocated to Varna, Bulgaria, Asparuh was free from marriage.

Asparuh took his own son, Prodan, who had a family of his own. He had a fiance with a french woman, and also had a child already. Asparuh disowned the child, seeing him as unworthy, without even meeting him. Asparuh tried to brainwash Prodan to give in to the Dark Arts, but his reluctance irritated Asparuh to no end. Asparuh found that only Prodan wouldn't marry. Prodan could not escape Asparuh's clutches. Asparuh allowed Prodan to go out once, and he conceived a child in his drunken stupor. Asparuh raised the kid as his own, never allowing Prodan near him. He sentences the kid to never leave the Manor, and forced him to dig graves for the rest of his life. Asparuh still goes about, doing his Death Eater deeds all over the world. Asparuh continues to jump from continent and country, while successfully keep hidden from the Ministry, any Ministry. Asparuh finds his daughter, and fought to win over her trust. After having a huge battle with Chavdar, they finally end it with a truce, both having received wounds and it ending in a tie, plus Kalif and Prodan separating them as well. Asparuh acts as the Patriarch of the Zhefarovich family, and still resents Dorothee, with a passion enough to want to murder her for good. He is unaware at this time that he is about to become a grandfather again, by Chavdar and Sofya Dragonova. Although, no one knew how he would react to that. Arnost and Asparuh reunited soon after his grandchildren were born, but Asparuh still showed that he is much stronger than Arnost.

Asparuh had many dramatic issues in his family, from having Arnost fall in love with Thorine and giving her a spawn and from having a mudblood interfere in the family. Asparuh killed off Dorothee and her sister, and was glad that their deaths meant a lot to Prodan. That also assisted in having Prodan get together with another fair maiden, Cecily Rambolt. After discovering that Estrella was married to his adopted grandson and was pregnant, he invited Valcan over to see for himself. Though not long after that, he too was drugged. Again. This time, by Thorine herself. She conceived an heir with him which in turn caused him to unless hell on earth with Arnost, almost injuring him to the point of death. Asparuh discovered that Nataliia is pregnant, and goes hunting for Alphonse Snow. This leads to Asparuh brutally fighting Alphonse to the point where he could almost not walk. It lasted for two hours. Liyla returned and Asparuh had half a mind to kill her, but she returned with their daughter, Raven. After that event, Asparuh needed Hades, and in turn, threw Hollace off the roof. He took Hades for some family business. Asparuh assisted in planning an Auror's death, the Head Auror at the time, which also soon led to Thorine's demise much later on. Asparuh had to put Hollace through a series of tests, and kept Hades away from the manor at the same time. Things settled down when he put the symbol on a few new members of the family, and then, Asparuh Gavril Zhefarovich IV was born. He had taken Liyla's life, after a decision of having Asparuh decide between the two. Thorine's family brought over his son, Ivaylo Salazar Zhefarovich-Dolohov, and Asparuh took him in whilst the mother was, to his relief, dead. Asparuh met up again with Danielle, and he hoped that things will die down soon, or he would be the one dead. Things take a turn for something unexpected when Danielle suddenly makes a proposition in her mind that Asparuh invades...a marriage between the two of them. Asparuh accepted, and then, under the sacred traditions of the family, he was wed to the Head of the Lefevre family. The couple decided to have a surrogate due to Danielle's health, which succeeded. After this, Asparuh shops for a Death Glass, as he thinks that there must be a way to prevent some deaths. Though it was not long before someone else angered him, his twin brother.

Arnost managed to impregnate three women, and produce several children. He wanted to kill the man, but he did not. Raisa Zhefarovich, his baby sister, was killed and Asparuh was divided between hunting down the Auror or leaving it be. Both laws conflicted with each other, and he chose to leave it be for now. Danielle was pregnant with twins, and Asparuh wondered what else could possibly become of this family. Axel had asked him a troubling question and Asparuh was relieved that Axel would not adopt the part-veela. Then, it happened, his mother had returned as a ghost, the same day Jaken Styx died. Asparuh did not have enough evidence to avenge Jaken's death, alas, otherwise it would be lawful to go after the man who killed Jaken. After Jaken's funeral, his spawns with that half-blood were none of his concern any longer because Jaken was not truly a Zhefarovich. Instead, his thoughts averted to something else instead. Now he was assisting in training Andromeda Fiorelli, however there was a backlash when he chose to have others train her in the family, let her have access into the Manor as well as give her the full protection like someone under the Zhefarovich's care. Something dark was coming, and Asparuh has been on edge for several months from July of 2027. A war broke out between the Snow Family and the Zhefarovich family, with Arnost killing Alphonse, and Arnost dying from the curses thrown at him. He came back as a ghost, which angered Asparuh. He decided to go find a way to become immortal in 2029, and while on his journey, he left Axel and Benjamen in charge. While he was gone, he found a way to make a Horcrux, and he succeeded. He came back in 2032 to see his family not in the best of shape, and taught Axel and Benjamen a lesson.

In 2033, the family endured another loss, when Benjamen accidentally poisoned Axelle, and killed her. She came back as a ghost immediately, and reunited with her love. Asparuh, on the other hand, was not as pleased as some would have been since Arnost continues to haunt him every moment of the day, this time with Axelle at his side. During some free time, he helped Danielle train Kalif in the art of Occlumency. Asparuh starts to plan on giving his title to his son, but doesn't do so until December of 2039. He continues to rule the family, mostly on the sideline while Kalif is at the school. He remains to be the most powerful member of the Zhefarovich family, and continues to make decisions and arrange marriages based on his own judgment.

To this day, he is still the most feared Zhefarovich member alive.

What all Zhefarovich descendants have in common

All the descendants usually have something in common. The less pure the descendant is, the less likely they look like a Zhefarovich descendant. Appearances are distinctive as well. It was extremely rare for a Zhefarovich to have any other shade of hair besides brunette or red, although Lydia introduced blonde, which is now nearly dominant. They are usually tall, surpass the six foot mark, except for the females who come close to the six feet tall. The eyes change color, only darken when they are highly upset or angry. When one Zhefarovich uses Dark Magic the majority of the time, it will eventually keep the eyes black. Normally, the eyes are silver, but can be described as stormy as well. Most of the Zhefarovich descendants appear young, even as they age, and most look somewhat similar. The voice always has ice to it, and if they choose, they can manipulate it to meet their desires. Most Zhefarovich descendants are strongly built, but lean as well. Their bodies are made to be strong and precise, as well as have agility.

Ivaylo Zhefarovich I: Born 101 BC; Died 11 BC. Rumors exist that he was born on the Fall Equinox, although the precise date was not confirmed. He was a major wizard of his time, existing during the Roman Empires, but also doing magic within the wizarding world of ancient times. Ivaylo was cunning and strong, and eventually led the family. He was an only child that survived of his parents, who are unknown, and his family grew up poor, and lowly farmers. Ivaylo proceeded to pick the family up, and is one of the first ones to ever use Dark Magic to achieve his goals, which were mainly to pull his family from the dirt. His notes were used to create the family tree, which he never got around to finishing. He is the first ever recorded Zhefarovich, ruling for sixty years from 71 BC to 11 BC, until his only son took over.​

Ascaroth Zhefarovich: Born 73 BC; Died 39 AD. Born during the winter, Ascaroth was home-schooled and raised in a strict manner. He farmed for a living, and existed only to serve his father and his ancestors. He was taught respect at a young age. His magic was fairly unique, and once more, he was the only child to survive the harshness of the ancient times. Ascaroth was named only after his father knew that he would survive. Ascaroth proceeded to become a mighty warrior of the empire, and associated with only the wizard kind, except during the wars. He proceeded to marry an unknown woman, and have only one son before his death during the war, as he was stabbed in the chest with a wooden spear. He ruled the Zhefarovich line, as small as it was, from 11BC to 39 AD.​

Alocer Zhefarovich I: Born 13 BC; Died 92. He is the only son from his father, with two sisters with unknown names (as they were not recorded except their line died three hundred years later). He was a brilliant swords maker for the times, and his magic excelled in Charms and Transfiguration. He also invented amazing charms which the incarnations were not written down. Alocer was rumored to have married the most beautiful woman in his village, and had two children from her. One was named after Alocer, who proceeded to rule the family after his death by a potion mishap. He ruled the family from 39 to 92.​

Alocer Zhefarovich II: Born 12; Died 138. Alocer was the firstborn of the family, and therefore, was mostly the favorite. His sisters were treated well, but it was Alocer that finally brought the family to above poverty. He secured the estate that Ivaylo left behind, and cultivated the land, producing meat and other products for the wizarding kind to use. However, he never told anyone outside the family where the land was (the current location of the Zhefarovich Manor). It was magically enhanced to provide for the family, and bring them much needed clothes and riches. He married an unnamed woman, and produced two sons. Alocer was also a notorious liar, which only brought his untimely death in year 138. He was given the family when he was already at an old age, from 92 to 138.​

Alrinach Zhefarovich: Born 45; Died 172. Born a twin, Alrinach was the first recorded twin of the Zhefarovich family, which grew to contain over fifteen members by cousins. However, Alrinach battled his twin, and eventually killed him. Alrinach buried him and lied about his whereabouts at age 16, and his name was forgotten over time. Alrinach continued in the tradition of farming and producing goods, and fought in a few wars. He married to a beautiful maiden, before producing only one child. When his father died, he was handed the throne. He ruled the family with leniency, which was common for the family back then. Alrinach ruled the family for only a short time, from 138 to 172.​

Tenebrion Zhefarovich I: Born 93; Died 215. Tenebrion was born as an only child, and was known as a popular male among the village women. Tenebrion was brilliant with potions, before finally producing one that could change appearance for two minutes. He used this to make his hair the color of gold, and cheated his way for fortune. He married eventually, and named his son after him. After growing up, he was taught how to lead his family by Alrinach, and eventually ruled when his father passed. Of course, Tenebrion's past came to bite him when he was killed by a mugger. Tenebrion held the throne from 172 to 215.​

Tenebrion Zhefarovich II: Born 138; Died 242. Tenebrion was born as the only son out of three children. The other two died by a horseback accident. Tenebrion lived a solitary life, learning to farm and cultivate magic as much as he could. He married and had one child. He did not live a very eventual life, as he simply did as he was ordered. He ruled the family after his father died, from 215 to 242. His grandson took over.​

Tenebrion Zhefarovich III: Born 195; Died 287. Tenebrion Zhefarovich the Third was the most ruthless of the Zhefarovich family at his time. He had a total of six siblings after he was born, but he smothered each of them in case he was chosen to be the next ruler of the family. Tenebrion excelled his grandfather and all his family with magic, and with the other skills except his social skills. He was the first known psychopath within the family, recorded. He eradicated the entire village before fleeing, going to the south east, taking his wife and children with him. Tenebrion eventually killed his grandfather, succeeding in the throne. Once he received the title, he thought no one was good enough for his family, and proceeded to murder his entire family, except his son. That is, until his son poisoned him while he was sleeping. He ruled for the years 242 to 287.​

Bechet Zhefarovich: Born 219; Died 349. Bechet Zhefarovich was born to the maniac of the Zhefarovich family, and was the only sibling remaining before he decided to kill his father, before the Zhefarovich family was completely destroyed. Bechet continued to allow the family to flourish, while keeping them safe from outsiders. He sought to apply some rules to the family, but before he could put them into action, he managed to succumb to what is current cancer, and died. He ruled from years 287 to 349. His grandson, Legassa, assumed the throne after his will. During this time, the total number of the Zhefarovich family grew from two members to fourteen.​

Legassa Zhefarovich: Born 267; Died 390. Legassa Zhefarovich was the grandson of Bechet, and had several cousins and family members that helped raise him. He barely survived the massacre of the family, before it grew once more. Legassa was a master of transfiguration, and rumored had it that he was so close to becoming an animal, or an Animagus at the time, but it was never recorded. Legassa became the ruler of the family after his grandfather died. His skills only excelled, which proved in various duels and his fights within the wars around the villages. He eventually passed in his sleep, peacefully, before naming his next grandson as the new ruler. He ruled from years 349 to 390.​

Lanithro Zhefarovich I: Born 325; Died 441. Lanithro Zhefarovich I was the eldest grandson of Legassa Zhefarovich. Unlike the others that dealt with raising farms, Lanithro sought out a different profession. He started to teach younger magical children magic, but was notorious for demonstrating the darker magic on the younger ones with lesser status. Lanithro was cruel beyond means, but it was his intellect and leadership qualities that earned him the throne. He married a woman, before she died giving birth to his son. Lanithro resented that child for many years, and favored his grandson, which took the spot as the ruler of the family once Lanithro passed. He ruled from years 390 to 441.​

Lanithro Zhefarovich II: Born 387; Died 485. Lanithro Zhefarovich II was named after his grandfather as a way for his father to earn some love, but it failed. Lanithro was ravished with gold and coins, which managed to land him in a new profession, which was mining for materials that could eventually be made into the magical currency within his village. He eventually started to raise the animals once more, and continued to make and sell products. He had a loving wife, and eventually, three children and ten grandchildren. His favorite grandson ended up succeeded him, after he requested that he is poisoned because he was suffering from a fatal disease. He ruled from years 441 to 485.​

Asmodeus Zhefarovich I: Born 445; Died 524. Asmodeus Zhefarovich was the one that managed to kill his own grandfather, by his request. He was also recorded to be on friendly terms with Andros the Invincible during his time in Greece to trade. This was where he learned how to perform the Patronus charm, which had been impossible for anyone in the family at the time. Asmodeus took these new skills that he learned while in Greece to his family. He was also rumored to come back as an Animagus, but his form was never known, and he was also a bragger. Asmodeus had a few children, including an eventual grandson, named after him, that he passes his throne to. He ruled from 485 to 524.​

Asmodeus Zhefarovich II: Born 493; Died 576. Asmodeus Zhefarovich succeeded his grandfather, despite being rather young to assume the throne. Asmodeus took up farming and making silk robes for a living, upping things even more, bringing the family into a stable middle class status at the time, while roaming with others within the village. He was notorious about allowing muggles and muggle-borns in, as well as allowing squibs to live (which will all change down the line, half a century later). Asmodeus was rumored to be the kindest of all the Zhefarovich men, and also attracted many women. He ended up sporting another pure-blood woman, and named his son after him, and chose him to lead the family, after his death. Asmodeus was eventually killed by an accident while trying to make the Family Tree, which wasn't succeeded until half a century later. He ruled from years 524 to 576.​

Asmodeus Zhefarovich III: Born 528; Died 626. Asmodeus Zhefarovich III was the firstborn son of his parents, and lived a luxurious life within the times. He also watched muggles and the rise of Christianity, even trying to find a way to record everything, which he failed since he did not have paper or parchment at the time. Asmodeus lived a rather quiet life, and gave the throne over to his eldest grandson, Krazimir. He died of a heart attack in his sleep. He ruled from years 576 to 626.​

Krazimir Zhefarovich: Born 570; Died 676. Krazimir Zhefarovich was the eldest grandson from the former ruler, and only proceeded to continue to make robes and raise animals for the wizarding community to continue the business. He was rumored to go across the seas to visit with other countries and trade, before coming back empty handed. Krazimir was also notorious for being a gambler. He was the first in Zhefarovich history to lose his wife because of his ways, so he raised his children and eventual, grandchildren on his own before he became the ruler of the family, showing his true potential. He eventually gave it to his grandson, and passed away after drinking too much. He ruled from years 626 to 676.​

Haydan Zhefarovich: Born 612; Died 730. Haydan Zhefarovich was the grandson of Krazimir, and loathed his grandfather so much to the point where he forced the man into drinking lethal alcoholic drinks by tapping into the fact that he loved to drink. Haydan lived a full life before this act, and was described to having 'god like' features due to how handsome he was. He inherited his mother's looks, who happened to have long, flowing blonde hair. He inherited this from her, and was the first recorded to have his eyes change from silver to onyx when he was mad, only added to his supposedly inhuman appearance. Using his appearance, he attracted the most beautiful woman from a respectful family, and had a nice sized family with her. He gave the title to Haitov Zhefarovich, his grandson, as soon as he felt weak. He died the next day. He ruled from years 676 to 730.​

Haitov Zhefarovich: Born 679; Died 783. Haitov Zhefarovich received exceptional good looks, and was often confused with a Part-Veela, which he showed disdain for. Haitov became a proud pure-blood, and only accepted those within nobility to even speak to him. His self centered attitude earned him the most hated person within the town, but that didn't stop his vanity. He married and had a good sized family, with the members of the family growing even more, to above thirty. He gave his title to his grandson, as that was the norm now. He ruled from years 730 to 783.​

Bassil Zhefarovich: Born 729; Died 837. Bassil Zhefarovich was the next in line for the throne, and was tuaght exclusively, which was the beginning of the rituals of training the rulers of the family. Bassil looked more like a walking skeleton than a handsome man, after years of meddling with potions, and scarring him badly. Bassil married and had a small family, but his wife died in childbirth. He carried huge leadership qualities, which exceeded that of his own grandfather. Bassil eventually passed the title to his own grandson, after he decided that it was time to leave. He left the family, only to be killed the next day, suspected that it was by Cristof. He ruled from years 783 to 837.​

Cristof Zhefarovich: Born 792; Died 889. Cristof Zhefarovich was the only grandson of Bassil Zhefarovich. He was a very gaunt looking man, with the only exceptional looks remained in his eyes. He was tall, oddly proportioned. Cristof was the first one mentioned to look amazingly hideous, and said that he rivaled that of an older monkey. Cristof was also the most terrifying looking to have appeared so far along the family, and used this to have others under his control, making money and earning a fortune. He passed his title to his youngest son, once he succumbed to disease. He ruled from years 837 to 889.​

Xehenov Zhefarovich: Born 838; Died 943. Unlike his father, Xehenov was blessed with good looks that came from his genes from Haitov. Xehenov was not very vain, and therefore, managed to gain favor within the village, and even spread it. Xehenov proceeded to protect the villages, extending protection to others than himself, which was a first within the family. He gave his grandson the title once he grew up some. He ruled from years 889 to 943.​

Jehov Zhefarovich: Born 891; Died 993. Jehov was the grandson of Xehenov, and known for his mischievous ways within the family. He invented ways to prank people, and many times, landed in some trouble with some of the people in his village. Jehov, otherwise, did not do anything note worthy. He passed the title of the family to his grandson, Nikolas, who proceeded to become a legend. He ruled from years 943 to 993.​

Nikolas Zhefarovich: Born 953; Died 1042. Nikolas Zhefarovich was a famous man within the region. He was one of those that was marked down in history for the Zhefarovich family. He participated in making brooms, which earned him and his family lots of money, bringing them from middle class to upper class. Nikolas also participated in the annual broom race within Sweden, and was very close to winning. Nikolas was also close with one of the founders of Hogwarts Wizardry, Salazar Slytherin. Nikolas promised to have his pure-blood children attend one day, but his family remained in Romania. Nikolas proceeded to build the Zhefarovich Mansion. Using the tricks that was taught within the family, he created the Family Tree, using a mixture of dark and blood magic. Despite that he believed in the same thing Slytherin did, his family did not seem to agree. Nikolas turned dark, and killed the blood traitors, once more wiping out more than half the family for the sake of purity. Nikolas proved to be a formidable opponent for anyone, conquering them easily. There were rumors saying that he was a Parselmouth and a great Legilimens, but there is no way to prove it. He had two sons, and ended up giving his throne to Yassinov, his eldest son. He ruled from 993 to 1042.​

Yassinov Zhefarovich: Born 984; Died 1089. Yassinov Zhefarovich had huge shoes to fill once his father gave him the throne. Yassinov was a handsome man, known for his talents of making robes. He was also the first of the Zhefarovich family to ever attend a magical school, which was Hogwarts. He was sorted in Slytherin, and even, possibly knew Merlin himself. Although, this was never proven. Yassinov, however, had his wand one day stolen, which he managed to kill for. That was the first time Yassinov ever took a life, and it haunted him for years to come. He eventually became so overcome with guilt, he turned himself in, and died shortly after. He gave the title to his grandson before he passed. He ruled from years 1042 to 1089.​

Hristo Zhefarovich: Born 1045; Died 1143. Hristo was the only grandson of Yassinov, and continued to attend the Hogwarts school, despite being so far away. He was sorted into Slytherin, and upheld the pure-blood values. This was when he started to try to figure out a way to keep the family pure, without inbreeding, which was not likely during that time. He came up with a sort of laws, but was never able to implant them before his death just a few years later. He was succeeded by his granddaughter, Nadezhda. He ruled from years 1089 to 1143.​

Nadezhda Zhefarovich: Born 1107; Died 1196. Nadezhda Zhefarovich was a legend in the family, becoming the first, and only, female ruler in the family. It was during this time that she came into power at a young age, and upheld the values that Hristo and those before her held. She was a tough woman, with her beauty talked about for miles around. She was sorted into Slytherin as well, which came as no surprise anymore, seeing as the line of her family were nothing more than Slytherins. Nadezhda was the one that decided to give the ruler of the family a specific name, which came to flourish as 'Head'. She was all about family, and bringing them to power. Nadezhda deserved half the credit for bringing the family to power, as she invested and gained value within others, as she brought her family all under one roof, which was the Zhefarovich Mansion. When she felt her time was near, she named her son, Dragan, her successor. She ruled from years 1143 to 1196.​

Dragan Zhefarovich: Born 1134; Died 1241. Like his mother before him, Dragan was sorted into Slytherin, and studied under his mother's tutorlege. Of course, with the Family Tree revealing all those that could end up betraying and marrying muggles, Dragan sought a way to rectify that. After he received the title, Dragan brought his entire family together, got rid of those that meddled with muggles, and came up with a set of laws, that eventually grow to the Zhefarovich Laws. He implanted arranged marriages, and conducted that this was the way to go from now on, especially to ensure that muggles are not mingling with the family. Dragan asserted his leadership, and got the entire family under his control, which was a first for any of the past Heads. Dragan had total control over every single Zhefarovich, who grew to fear for their lives if they disobeyed Dragan's laws. Afterward, he gave his title to his son, Tsvetan. Dragan died of old age. He ruled from years 1196 to 1241.​

Tsvetan Zhefarovich: Born 1177; Died 1286. Unlike his father and grandmother, Tsvetan did not do anything remarkable within the family, and just kept to the laws in place, while still teaching the Dark Arts to his family and children. He killed without mercy, and was somewhat known as a Sociopath. While he was living in the shadow of Dragan, he simply used manipulation to get what he wanted, and was known for charming those before he managed to end their lives after they proved their worth. He only helped the Zhefarovcih family grow in power, and size. Finding his grandson worthy, he passed the title of Head to him. He ruled from years 1241 to 1286.​

Grozdan Zhefarovich: Born 1230; Died 1339. Grozdan Zhefarovich was the grandson of Tsvetan, and was largely responsible for relocating the family out of Transylvania, where they currently lived, to Bulgaria once the Hungarians arrived. He found the deed to some land that Ivaylo owned in Bulgaria, before deciding that this would be the birthplace and home for the Zhefarovich family. However, while the Manor was being built, Grozdan eventually ended up dying, while entrusting the next Head with the Family Tree, and all the scrolls that had the history. He ruled from years 1286 to 1339.​

Anastas Zhefarovich I: Born 1298; Died 1380. Anastas Zhefarovich was a grandson of Grozdan, and ended up building the Zhefarovich Manor, and followed after its completion in 1341. Anastas was responsible to follow through on the building, and moving everyone within. He ruled the family with an iron fist, and while Bulgaria around them was crumbling from the Ottoman Empire, the Zhefarovich family remained safe from the oppression. None of their family members went out to see muggles due to the fact that they were burning them at the stake. This only increased the hatred for muggles and their ways. Anastas even built a Quidditch pitch within the basement of the Zhefarovich Manor, for the adults to pass the time in. However, their snitchet died as a result of their playing, which his youngest son eventually ended up fixing during his rule. He ruled from years 1339 to 1380.​

Anastas Zhefarovich II: Born 1338; Died 1429. Anastas Zhefarovich II was known as the best Zhefarovich athlete of his time. Recorded down as a master of handling brooms, he also managed to get his hands on a golden snitch for person use not long after they were invented. Anastas was the seeker, and played vigorously within the family. Anastas also made broomsticks for companies, and only increased the wealth, which had declined since the major move and building the Zhefarovich Manor. Anastas played Quidditch during most of his rule, while trying to add in some major rules within the family when it came down to playing, but it only resulted in deaths when bludgers were duplicated and made to attack everyone, including the audience. Anastas was charismatic, and also very charming, which was why he was made the Head. He passed the title to his son after he died by a bludger hit to the head in his old age. He ruled from years 1380 to 1429.​

Anastas Zhefarovich III: Born 1372; Died 1474. Anastas Zhefarovich was born to the current Patriarch at the time, and was named after him. He was athletic, but he took his skills to dueling rather than Quidditch. He became an esteemed dueler of the area, perhaps even the best, but this one was a humble Zhefarovich. He participated in very little Dark Arts activities, and continued to lead a rather peaceful life with his wife and children. He preferred to keep everything to himself, and watched the Bulgarian Ottoman from afar. Some would say that he was even a philosopher of his age, even while he was the new Patriarch. He passed the title of Head to his grandson, who was the smartest of them at the time. He died at a good age for the time. He ruled from years 1429 to 1474.​

Bozhidar Zhefarovich I: Born 1426; Died 1519. Bozhidar Zhefarovich was the grandson to Anastas Zhefarovich the Third, and was very much into sports, like his great grandfather. Rather than playing the growing popular game of Quidditch, he played Creaothceann while he visited Scotland from time to time. Bozhidar was known for having an extremely hard head, which made him very much easily the winner of his games of Creaothceann. He played this during his youth, winning bets and whatnot for the Zhefarovich family, only to be placed in a safe to ensure that they were stable for the next hundred or so years. Bozhidar held his contributions well, and his intellect and stubbornness to let anyone walk over him made him the next Head of the family, which he held with the greatest honor. He ruled from years 1474 to 1519.​

Bozhidar Zhefarovich II: Born 1480; Died 1551. Bozhidar Zhefarovich was born to the family, and was the only one that was born outside the Manor during the time it was built. He was born in Saint Mungos because his mother was very sick at the time. However, he was known for being the most lawful of the family, executing those that were unfaithful when his grandfather gave him the title of Head. With the growing family, Bozhidar started to wonder if there needed to be more positions in the family, because there was a lot of stress on him. He discussed this with the future Head, his grandson that was named after him. He was not able to exact his plans before he passed. He ruled from years 1519 to 1551.​

Bozhidar Zhefarovich III: Born 1530; Died 1596. With his grandfather passed, Bozhidar Zhefarovich became the new Head, and he decided that it was time for the family to have more than just position. He wrote down additional laws and ended up creating the position, Guardian. The family was not large enough to have more than one, so he appointed the Guardian, his oldest son, Bozhidar Zhefarovich the Fourth. He chose him to become the future Head later on. His brother, Ilija, was very close to the new Guardian, and the three of them helped the family ascend into greater power, as the name started to spread across Bulgaria. They had a reputation of helping others when they needed it, and overall, their name was in good standings. Bozhidar passed away with dragon pox. He ruled from years 1551 to 1596.​

Bozhidar Zhefarovich IV: Born 1566; Died 1622. Once the father died and left the title of Head to his son, Bozhidar handed the title of Guardian to his brother. Bozhidar was exceptionally young to be a Head, and most of the older members did not take him seriously. However, he managed to gain the respect after so many years, of asserting his authority over others. However, his time was short lived when he died while dueling his brother, Ilija. It was merely an accident. He ruled from years 1596 to 1622.​

Ilija Zhefarovich: Born 1568; Died 03/11/1675. Ilija Zhefarovich was born to a younger brother of Bozhidar, and was a little envious of his brother for receiving all the glory. After the previous Head died, his brother named him as Guardian, which delighted the young soul. He ruled and helped his brother in any way he could, while earning the same respect that his brother had. As the two were dueling, Ilija tried out a curse he was reading, and it killed Bozhidar. Devastated over the loss, he was named Head by the others, and he ended up making a name for himself for eliminating the people that tried to kill their family because of their blood purity. He also took away the majority of everyone being in arranged marriages, and placed that they were to be used for special reasons rather than for everyone. This was greatly supported by the family. As he was dying, he appointed the next Head to his grandson. He ruled from years 1622 to 1675.​

Kaloyan Zhefarovich: Born 12/24/1633; Died 05/24/1711. Kaloyan, the grandson of Ilija, was what some would call a free lover, but only for the sake of pure-bloods. He was a handsome man, with his looks to go around. Rumors say that he swung in the opposite direction, but only married and had children because that was the norm. He could have had a boy on the outside, but since the Zhefarovich family thought that was the dirtiest thing next to a muggle, Kaloyan kept it quiet. Kaloyan disbanded the arranged marriages completely, since he believed in love, but left it up to the parents if they wanted their child to grow up not having freedom. Because of his odd views, his youngest son, Zlatan, killed him with a potion and took over as Head of the Family, believing that he will destroy the holiness of the Zhefarovich family. He ruled from years 1675 to 1711.​

Zlatan Zhefarovich: Born 02/19/1673; Died 06/23/1754. Zlatan was born to a loveless marriage, as he believed that his father did not love his mother, despite preaching about it. Taking life into his own hands, he murdered his father, and takes over the throne. Zlatan reinstates the arrange marriage, keeping it for the more important members if needed, or for the sake of purity. Zlatan also starts to write the laws of the family, and then comes up with more titles to use. Before he is finished, he dies by dragon pox. He ruled from years 1711 to 1754.​

Yazyrik Zhefarovich: Born 09/15/1699: Died 12/19/1799. Yazyrik Zhefarovich watched his father die, which rumor had it that turned him insane. Once he received the title, he went mad under the added pressure. Not able to deal with it, and controlling so many family members, he went out and slaughtered the majority of his family members, leaving his grandson, Ozuris, alive. Yazyrik only ever had that written down on record, since his son got rid of the other deeds he committed. As soon as he turned a hundred, he was killed with the Killing Curse by Ozuris. He ruled from years 1754 to 1799.​

Ozuris Zhefarovich: Born 10/13/1744; Died 05/14/1833. The legacy that was the Zhefarovich family was left with only a few people, Ozuris, and his family. He started from the ground up, and wrote laws that prohibits those from killing within the family, to ensure that the family remained intact. Ozuris alone wrote the entirety of the laws, naming positions, with new ones such as Margrave, Clandestian, Patriarch and Viscount. Since there were not enough family members to make the positions, he chose to just watch over the family, and started to train his son, Ivaylo, and Ivaylos son, Shanaos, to take over the family once he was gone. He trained them in the Dark Arts, and trained them about the human body. With the familys reputation turning dark, but remained powerful from the day of Nikolas days. Ozuris brought the familys wealth and increased it tenfold with his investments, making them one of the richest families within Bulgaria. As soon as he died, he passed the title of Patriarch to his son. He ruled from years 1799 to 1833.​

[Asparuh Zhefarovich III]

The Zhefarovich Manor

The Zhefarovich Manor was created before Ivaylo was born, multiple centuries before. However, the surroundings of the manor used to be a lively green, with a lake out front and gardens galore. That all changed when the Zhefarovich built the manor in 1341. The surroundings have been corrupted with Dark magic, and thus turned it into a dead, eerie looking area. The location is unknown, guarded by multiple spells and charms. The only clue to knowing is it is located somewhere in Bulgaria. To those in the past that have tried to discover its location, often end up missing, or dead. All the Zhefarovich's were born and raised in the Zhefarovich Manor during this time. Ivaylo II was the first to ever invite those outside of family in. However, that family has died off since the early 1900s for an unknown cause. The Manor itself now is still hidden, and the occupants are many throughout the manor. The Manor on the inside remains luxurious as ever before, and stays spotless of any dirt. It is gargantuan and has multiple rooms.

There are over twenty bedrooms, plus a master and grand bedroom. The master bedroom is for a daughter or son, while the grand is for the owner of the manor. The rest of the bedrooms are for guests. There are many bathrooms, five of which do not belong to the bedrooms. There is an entrance hall, decorated with various items of Dark magic. There is also a Grand hall, leading to the library, which is also connected to the Dining Hall. The kitchen is large and antique. There is also a den, where Benjamen stays the majority of the time. There is a family room, a game room, a workout room, and a living room. The Manor has many hallways, and is fairly easy to get lost in. There is an inside pool, but no outside pool. There is an underground study. There are ancient books of Dark Arts and modern books of Dark Arts also, in almost every language. The Zhefarovich's collected books and stored them in the study. Arriving to the study is a tricky task, involved a winding maze and several boggarts and creatures along the way. This was all out of precaution that no one except family can get to the study itself.

Asparuh is the owner of the Zhefarovich Manor currently. The Manor is at an estimate of at least over seven hundred years old. It has remained in the family since it was built, and Asparuh plans to keep it that way for the next ten thousand years if he has to. The Zhefarovich Manor is also hidden from the family tree, so others that knew how to work the tree could never find it also. That idea is credited to Ivaylo II and Shanaos. The look of it may not be that large from the front, but if one got a sky view of it, they would see the Graveyard, the garden, the crypts, and even parts that lead underground where many things are located. The bones of hundreds of people reside in the manor, and there are many places that only the Patriarch can go, as it is locked off and too dangerous for other members of the family.

Titles Explained​

Progenitor-Patriarch: This position is equal to the Patriarch, but not considered the highest position available due to the fact that whoever is this was the Patriarch before but has given their title up before they were dead. The name of it means "Father of the Patriarch" which others can refer to as Elder offhandedly. The same rules and laws apply to the Patriarch as they would to the Progenitor-Patriarch. Members of the family must show equal amount of respect to the Progenitor-Patriarch as they would to the Patriarch. The Patriarch can come to this person if they are new to the position and need advice.
Patriarch: This is the highest position available in the Zhefarovich family. He or she controls all of the family, all must answer to him or her, knows the hidden secrets that no one else knows, and performs the branding upon the others when it is time for their mark. The Patriarch also controls the original family tree and has the power to exile anyone from it. Other members of the family excluding the Head must kneel before the Patriarch.
Head: This is the second highest position in the family. Everyone who has an issue that is not too large must go through the Head first. All members must bow to the Head respectfully, and the Head handles most of the stress that the family tends to bring. The Head controls all the members, but must answer to the Patriarch.
Nefarious Savant: This position was created by Asparuh Zhefarovich III, and they tend to the Manor and also assist all other positions if necessary. This person can fulfill any position in the family if those are not available. What the people do in this position when not feeling in for another is experiment on humans to find weak points, research new spells and new potions as well as their effects.
Clandestian: This person makes sure that the secrets of the family stay within the family, and not shared with the public.
Guardian: The Guardian is someone who makes sure that everyone is protected, and by any means necessary.
Margrave: This person is the healer of the family. Because there is hardly any that can bring out the healing spells, a position was made for it.
Viscount: This person is the assassin of the family. He or she makes sure that if someone is a vital threat to the family, that they are eliminated permanently. This position requires great skills and sometimes there are more than one.
Dark Priest(ess): This person or persons is the person in the family that marries those in the family under the traditions of the Zhefarovich family if they wish to not hold a lighter wedding. This title is special, because a Zhefarovich can be a Priest(ess) if they hold another title already, so long as it does not interfere with their original title. The Dark Priest(ess) must be highly knowledgeable in the sake of traditions and marriages, as well as the Dark Arts. This position was not really named until recently, by Asparuh Zhefarovich III.
Sacramental Advisor: This person is special because someone could be a portrait or a ghost in order to carry out this task. He or she must have wisdom and age behind them, and it was created by Asparuh Zhefarovich III. This person has to approve of someone before they are wed to the family. And if not, they cannot be in the family. This is new, and the tradition will carry out from the beginning of 2027. This will make sure that no one unworthy is to enter the family.
Council of Elders: The council of elders in the Zhefarovich family act similar to a government senate, with the Patriarch and Head(s) at the top. They are among the strongest Zhefarovich members, and the ones that uphold that delicately. This was created by Kalif Styx, to ensure that the family will come to an agreement with one and another, rather than fight and kill each other, which happened many a time in history. They talk about issues, the business, wealth, power and connections, arranged marriages, and assigning titles.

How Titles are Chosen​

Progenitor-Patriarch: This position is not chosen.
Patriarch: The position typically has the same name as the past ancestors however there are special cases. Those are personally chosen by the Patriarch, and raised separately and differently from the other children of the family. They receive the mark earlier and they are sometimes labeled as Head before they take the throne or in other positions. The past Patriarchs hold a meeting to decide between the pure-blood parents as the Patriarch has to be pure-blood. After deciding, the meeting is adjurned and the child has to stay in the Manor to be raised as the Patriarch by the Patriarch. Training and learning is vital from birth, including constant training to not show pain and emotions.
Head: The Heads are chosen at any time, but typically at a young age. They too must be pure-blood, and they must be trained by someone who the Patriarch points out, or by the Head or Patriarch. The Heads are not as strictly trained, but they are trained to take the throne if the Patriarch dies. They too are taught everything about the family, and they are trained to not show emotions and pain as well.
Nefarious Savant: This position is chosen at any time, but only two people at the most can have this position. Typically, it is someone who does not have a position or has experience in any other position.
Clandestian: This position is chosen while they are a teenager and they are taught the secrets of the family by previous Clandestian. They are taught to be secretive and quiet, but they have more freedom to be what they want.
Guardian: Guardians are chosen while they are out of school. Guardians are chosen based on their attitude and their protectiveness and their sly ability. The family can have many guardians, and they are also taught by Guardians that as long as the family is safe, by any means necessary, then do it.
Margrave: Margraves are chosen once someone is out of school, and the Patriarch decides who must be taught how to heal. The previous Margrave will have to teach the chosen one(s) how to heal properly.
Viscount: Viscounts are chosen when someone is just entering in school. They go through rigorous torturing to learn areas on the human body to break someone. They are trained to kill, and they can take pain in enormous amounts. Despite of how bad this sounds, the Patriarch and Head has to go through same training, but at an earlier age. Viscounts are trained to be murderous fiends.
Dark Priest(ess): This position is chosen by those who are specialized in titles of arranging people into marriages under the darkness of circumstances. This can be chosen at any time, during any age as long as they are adults and are intelligent enough to follow traditions.
Sacramental Advisor: This position is chosen by the Patriarch, and it is held by a current ghost, whom seems like she will be holding from now to ever more. Whether or not there will be more than one will be unknown for quite some time.
Council of Elders: These are chosen by the Progenitor-Patriarch, Patriarch, and Head(s), unanimously.

Significance of the Symbol of the Zhefarovich Family​

All Zhefarovich descendants (and those married in) must receive this mark as a tattoo upon their entire back. The consequences are dire if not performed. The Patriarch only knows what it means, and he or she is the only one able to give this mark to those entering the family. Those who refuse are often cursed or put to death. Those who are descendants receive this tattoo at the age of sixteen. Those who are married in have to have the tattoo within the six months and six weeks, and it will be only upon the left shoulder, for they have not a drop of Zhefarovich blood in their veins. They see it as someone is not worthy enough to have the same thing as the descendants. Arranged marriages, which are common in the family, the person is bound by law and if disobeyed are penalized to death, they receive their mark when they turn sixteen. Those chosen to be the Head of the Family and the Patriarch receives their mark early. Patriarchs receive their mark at age ten, whereas Heads receive theirs at age thirteen. The mark helps connect those to the tree, giving those an advantage with protection in the family. After a year of having the mark, then they will have access to the Zhefarovich Manor when the charms are lifted. If one is adopted into the family, after six months, six weeks and six days, they will bear the mark on the right shoulder.

Laws of the Zhefarovich Family​

Section One: Patriarch

1. All must kneel before the Patriarch
2. All must abide the Patriarch's word
3. Patriarch must keep by the laws
4. Patriarch must enforce all laws
5. Patriarch is not above the laws but can make amendments or exceptions
6. Patriarch must be the most powerful in the family
7. The future Patriarch must be hand-chosen by the Patriarch
8. The Patriarch must be Pure-blood
9. The future Patriarch must be raised traditionally by the Patriarch
10. The Patriarch must be a descendant of the Zhefarovich Family
11. To overthrow the Patriarch, a descendant must defeat and kill the current Patriarch, thus becoming the new Patriarch

Section Two: Head

1. All must bow before the Head
2. All must abide by the Head's word
3. The Head answers only to the Patriarch
4. Head must keep by the laws
5. Head must enforce the laws
6. Head cannot make amendments to the laws
7. Head must be hand-chosen by the Patriarch
8. The future Head must be raised traditionally by either the Patriarch or the Head
9. The Head must be Pure-blood
10. The Head does not have to kneel before the Patriarch
11. The Head must be a descendant of the Zhefarovich Family
12. To overthrow the Head, a descendant must defeat and kill the current Head, thus becoming the new Head

Section Three: Other Positions

1. All must be raised traditionally in the Patriarch's Manor unless stated otherwise
2. The descendants must keep to their role
3. Anything shared to outsiders about said role will be put to death
4. Very few roles can be given to others married into the family
5. All roles are given to persons by the Patriarch and Head
6. All must attend family meetings

Section Four: Marriage

1. One must never marry a muggle. If broken, muggle and traitor must be killed after eleven months passed
2. If one has a child with a muggle, it is the Patriarch's decision to have said muggle killed, and descendant is to be raised by the Zhefarovich parent
3. Arranged marriages are set by the Patriarch, and can never be broken, and if so, punishable by death
4. Those in an arranged marriage must have a spawn, living or dead, within a year of the wedding, or be put to death
5. Patriarch may allow eligible persons to choose available descendants to marry for an arranged married to occur
6. One can never marry or spawn with a creature of the following: Giant, Goblin, Veela
7. A descendant can marry or spawn with a Part-Veela or a Werewolf only under the approval of the Patriarch through trials. All other cases are immediately murdered
8. If a person married into or a descendant is suspected of being a Werewolf without prior notice, they will be put to the test, and if failed, must be eliminated for their treachery
9. Those married into the family must not be into stopping or eliminating the Dark Arts or be put to death
10. If a person is married and not into the Dark Arts, then must be sworn to secrecy, as this is also not limited to descendants
11. Those married into the family must receive the symbol upon their left shoulder

Section Five: Spawns

1. All descendants must be raised by a Zhefarovich or be put to death, unless said by the Patriarch
2. Spawns must have the symbol of the Zhefarovich upon their back when they reach sixteen years of age
3. Spawns must be protected at all costs
4. Spawns must be raised under the traditions of the Zhefarovich family
5. Children must be taught the Zhefarovich laws
6. All spawns are under the protection of the Zhefarovich family
7. Spawns are to abide to all the laws of the family, and abide to the Patriarch's and Head's word
8. All spawns must listen and obey their parents
9. Spawns with a muggle parent are susceptible to be killed by the Patriarch if chosen
10. Spawns formed outside of marriage have the same laws as spawns made in marriage
11. Incest between two descendants is prohibited and must be put to death
12. Any spawn from an incest couple must be put to death

Section Six: Pregnancy

1. Pregnant women must refrain from dangerous activity that could harm the descendant
2. If the pregnant woman cannot refrain herself from said dangerous activity, she must be kept in safe perimeters, by will or against will
3. Pregnant women may not abort the descendant unless approval by Patriarch with valid reason which are as followed: forcibly conceived by dirty, unworthy blood; child would not survive; mother would not survive; baby proved to be weak and described as unfit for the family

Section Seven: Death

1. One who kills a family member must be avenged unless Patriarch says otherwise
2. If a descendant dies, their last wills must be carried out unless it interferes with the laws of the family
3. All family members (married in or descended) must be buried in proper tomb assigned
4. If a descendant kills another in the family without approval or without a position that allows such actions, they are to be put to death
5. Only the Head may kill the Patriarch if the Patriarch requests it
6. Viscounts and Guardians are allowed to kill those in the family with valid reason
7. Patriarch and Head may eliminate anyone in the family if they so wish
8. Those exiled are free to be killed unless stated by the Patriarch otherwise
9. Descendants of an exiled may be killed freely and by anyone
10. If someone is assigned to be killed, the person who is doing the deed is not limited to creativity as long as he or she is truly dead
11. One who dies must be given a proper funeral and must be honored and may not be disrespected unless they were killed off

Section Eight: Other Laws Given

1. If one is on the side of good and are a threat to the Dark ones in the family must be killed, memories erased or maimed so they are no longer a threat
2. One cannot lie unless given a valid reason
3. One must respect other members of the family
4. All must attend family formals
5. One family member cannot be absent or cut from contact of the family
6. If said member is absent over an extended period of time, then Patriarch gets involved to bring him or her back
7. If said member will not return, he or she must be killed
8. Everyone must be proper at all times to uphold the Zhefarovich name
9. One must be as pure as blood allows possible
10. One must not trifle with the enemy without good reason
11. All must be taught the Dark Arts but not limited to any other subject
12. All must know the history of the Zhefarovich family
13. One may not associate with muggles unless assigned to kill them
14. No one may give away the family secrets
15. No one may give up the family name unless a valid reason occurs, such as marriage
16. No one can be without a home
17. Those who give up all Zhefarovich traditions and ways are to be exiled or killed
18. No one may associate with the exiled
19. Location of the Manor can never be revealed to outsiders
20. Any supreme Dark Witches or Wizards in the family can never be given away

Any violations of these rules shall be put to death​
