Danielle stirred gently as her body finally pulled out of darkness and into the real world, it had been about a day or so since the whole Wedding Crashing scene and since Danielle's body decided to give out on her for some reason. There had only been one other incident like that other than when she had almost lost her blood and died and thats when she had gone into labor with her first and only two children to ever walk amongst the earth. She had almost died giving birth to the two of them and they had almost died themselves before being born, it was a rough journey but she was thankful in the end to have had at least two heirs in her life as it was rare for even most woman in her family to have just one. Danielle had a slight weakness for babies, she loved them and had always wanted more in her life but she was cursed with the ability to not have many of them and because of that she was learning how to deal one step at a time. Shifting her half-conscious body softly she felt cool sheets beneath her as well as a cold feel to the room, she was quite obviously not in the church anymore. It also felt like she had been changed out of the dress she had been wearing during the attack into one that she usually wore while she rested, it made her feel far more comfortable even though her body felt so weak still. What had happened to make her so ill, was it finally the past couple of months of sickness catching up with her or was it something else? Whatever it was it had Danielle still feeling as if she were struck with the most deadly disease in the entire world, her body felt like it had been run over by Hippogriff a million times or more. Both of her angelic blue eyes opened and scanned th area she was in for a moment, it took her less than a second to realize that she was in her and Asparuh's bed chambers and was completely dressed in different clothing and everything. This room was very easy for her to distinguish over any other room in the Manor besides the Patriarch's Lair and that was because she probably spent more time in this room than she did any other, which she wasn't all that keen to admit out loud and allow Arnost bragging rights.

Just Danielle was about to sit up she winced and gasped softly when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach, from where she was slammed in the gut by Kasura. Lowering herself back down onto the cool sheets she bit her lip and a tried to ignore the pain..did the girl do serious damage to her or something. Shifting her eyes to the left of her she noticed her husband Asparuh was in the room, odd she hadn't noticed him until now. "Asparuh....what happened?" She asked him coldly but softly still the same, she hoped he knew what happened because after passing out she had no idea how she had gotten back to the Manor, if Axel was okay, or anything. After a moment Danielle forced herself to sit up again and this time did her best to ignore the pain she was feeling. Her body felt so tired and she felt so sick that her sitting up once again did not last long at all.

The sight and vision of the family tree has haunted the Patriarch, Asparuh, for the past few days. One, he knew that Danielle was pregnant, with twins. Though a little part of him thought that they would live, he assumed that they would be dead anyhow. That was not so however. They seemed to be alive and kicking. Second, was the new death date on the family tree. Raisa Zhefarovich was struck dead just a day ago. After she had commented on the glass, she had vanished before he could stop her. And before he could realize it, she was dead, and an Auror had struck her down. What frustrated him was the laws. They were supposed to avenge the deaths of a Zhefarovich, yet there was another that conflicted with it. She meddled with an enemy. By doing this, she was put to death, but not by the likes of the Patriarch. So, there was nothing he could do, and she had put this upon herself.

Asparuh hated to think of it like that, but inside, he was angry that he could not stop Raisa from leaving, and that he was showing some signs of emotion. Mourning. How else could he feel about losing a baby sister, one that acted closer to him, one that he raised? Asparuh turned to look at the bed, and he saw that Danielle had stirred and awakened. He moved from the shadows of the wall and he sat down on the edge of the bed next to her. He had someone change her clothing to something a bit more comfortable, but because of the drama of a death of someone highly respectable, he could not recall who had changed her. It was not himself though. Luckily for the two of them down here however, things were quiet, and no one could disturb them. After hearing the news, he had been down here. "Axel's fine," intoned Asparuh. He didn't even need his legilimency to tell her that.

"It's the fifteenth, and you've been sick. I didn't want to inform you, because I thought they would just die, but apparently not, you are pregnant with twins...again." Lose one life and gain two more. What would you know? Asparuh didn't care at this point though. It wouldn't be long though that he would have to arrange a funeral, and that was something that he dreaded. The only lives he had lose that were Zhefarovich's were those that were killed by himself and with a good cause. This one was out of his hands. That was something he hated, feeling like he was not in control of everything. Asparuh continued, his voice unwaveringly cold and dark, yet somewhat changed at the same time, "And I have to prepare for a funeral soon." A funeral that would touch mostly himself, Arnost and especially Rayna. Asparuh didn't know how to comfort someone that lost their twin, and he did not want to know how it feels either; even though at times he did want to kill Arnost.

Danielle watched weakly as her husband Asparuh moved away from the Shadows of the wall and sat himself on the edge of the bed next to her, she wasn't sure how she noticed so quickly but he looked changed. The first thing that came from his mouth was that Axel was okay and she allowed herself to calm down knowing he was unharmed even though she had fainted. "Tell him I give him my thanks." She felt like she owed him a favor now and as long as it wasn't too tasking or against the family laws she would definitely do anything he asked of her. The room was very quiet other than her soft breathing and the few words she and Asparuh spoke to one another, she often liked being in this room because no one usually bothered or disturbed her while she was in here and needed a break from everyone. Asparuh informed her of the date and some news that made her jump a little in surprise. She was...pregnant? Just that bit of news right there was enough to make her heart stop but the fact that he mentioned twins made the situation even more awkward for her. Danielle completely understood his reasons for not informing her, almost ninety percent of the time she did become pregnant the baby died before she could even realize that she was one indeed with child, the fact that some had lived long enough for the pregnancy symptoms and usual sickness all Lefevre woman got was very rare. Especially when it came to twins because. To most people who didn't know of her condition though would probably not be that surprised to hear that she was pregnant, it seemed that whenever it involved her and Asparuh people seemed to know everything. "As odd as it may sound, this makes me sort of..happy. Do you have any idea how far along I am yet?" Danielle glanced down at her stomach for a moment before she shifted to let her hand rest there, for the first time she noticed that sure enough there was a firm bump there that hadn't been there before, why had she not noticed it until now? Danielle had always wanted more heirs and secretly had a weakness for little babies, having some of her own brought her just the slightest twinge of happiness, she knew they were Asparuh's too which meant that they were already going to be babies of power. That could also make her pregnancy a bit more difficult too. "I'm also a little worried. My infertility issues could cause some seriously problems..more than there are already." Danielle muttered out wondering if he remembered the last time she was pregnant. Danielle had already given birth to twins once before and it had nearly killed her.

His voice was even different, Danielle could hear it and it concerned her a little. Asparuh was always in control of everything so seeing him acting like this made her believe that something was wrong. The feeling of sickness washed over Danielle like a wave and she sighed weakly before she rested her head against the pillow again and wished someone would just kill her now to end the suffering. Hearing that Asparuh had to plan for a funeral made Danielle open her eyes in shock and worry. "W-who died?" Danielle asked weakly, the room sort of was starting to spin again so she tried to have herself relax and try to understand what was happening for her husbands sake. He seemed either upset about something. As his Wife, The Ranee of the Zhefarovich family, and probably one of his closest friends if he ever considered anyone that she felt like she should be there when he needed her even if it meant putting herself at risk.

Asparuh gave a curt nod to pass on the message, but he had a feeling that Axel would already know. Axel was one of a kind, and with his news of adopting some half-blood girl, daughter of a deceased Death Eater, it made Asparuh a little uneasy. He didn't approve of anything less than mixed-blood in most cases, but there were times where he could just not care; such as that half-blood that married Arnost's grandson, Demitris. Asparuh wondered if his nephew would die anytime soon. He couldn't care if he did or not. People were easily replaceable to say the least, especially when one could be ten times better than that insane twit. Asparuh waited for Danielle to be disappointed that she was pregnant, because he could have lived without any more kids to be honest. He had his fair share, mostly grown up now though, but he thought he was done. Apparently not, and the new twins were living proof of that. Fate really loved making Asparuh irritated.

When she said that it makes her sort of happy, Asparuh turned his cold stare to her. He shook his head and he wondered if she would be another Liyla, and if the twins would just kill her and live, or kill her and die with her. There was no telling. "Apparently they were conceived in October, late in the month. You would be three months now, or almost three months." The mental calculator in his mind was excellent still. He wondered if there would soon be a way to figure out just what gender they are. This would be his third set of twins, and he thought that it may not be worth it really. Then he remembered Chavdar and Axel. Axel was always an excellent man, whereas Chavdar just now came around in his life. Apparently, Rosaline fell to the darkness as well. After an interesting life that those three had shared, things were a little ironic. Vladimir had been doing well with his training as well. For that, Asparuh was pleased.

"Issues that can be taken care of if you abide by them. Remember where you are now, and how many experienced people we have here to assist in tending to this," Asparuh told her in a dark voice. If they proved that they would without a doubt kill her, they could be killed and taken out of her. That would be simple enough. Asparuh didn't need to have another Liyla on his hands. He preferred to do without. Asparuh IV already thought of Danielle as his mother, but he had been a little restless lately. Perhaps he knew that Raisa was dead also, because she took great care of him. Asparuh let out a sigh and he seemed a bit reluctant to tell her. But he said it, his voice not much higher than a whisper because that was all one needed in this room with the echoes and all, "Raisa." It would do him much good if he knew who it was that killed her and tear him limb from limb, but he didn't know who it was. Just someone Raisa had history with, and that alone could be anyone.

Danielle was a lot further along then she thought, she must have been pregnant just before or just after she got married to Asparuh, the babies living this long was by far a miracle because they rarely ever lived that long. A soft sigh escaped Danielle's lips as she ran a few fingers through her silky hair. She was a lot different than most pregnant woman were. Her hormones usually weren't as bad, of course there was a few times where she would lose her bearings but usually she was able to remain a fairly normal attitude. Her appetite and cravings were not usually as bad, not did she get really big. If she didn't end up getting so weak for most of the pregnancy she was sure most people wouldn't mind her having a baby so often. "In other words, having people always taking care of me. Does that mean I am on Bed rest? " Danielle asked quietly, she did not like the idea of being stuck in bed all the time and having people take care of her as if she were dying or something. But she knew that if Asparuh thought it would be best for her healthy then she should probably do it.Another wave of dizziness came and went and Danielle rested her head against the soft pillow before she closed her eyes and swallowed, this was going to be a rough six to seven months if this was how bad the effects were already. If anything she wanted to remain by Asparuh's side helping him as much as she could, but if she was being forced to rest all the time she wouldn't be much use to anyone then. 'Still, the thought of having a baby...is...' Asparuh's mother who had tried for so long to get them together must have been beaming with pride right now, personally Danielle was hoping for two little girls since her family favored females more. But males wouldn't be a problem either, she was sure that if they took after both her and Asparuh they would be born followers of the Dark anyways.

The moment Asparuh told her Raisa's name she lifted her body of the cooled sheets again only to gasp in pain, but she ignored the pain because she was going through so much shock. "W..what? How..did this happen?" Danielle asked, her voice quivered for a moment because it was so hard for her to think as someone who seemed so strong and able to take care of herself as gone. And she always took such good care of Asparuh IV and her baby Hela, how was he going to take all of this? Her blue eyes took a saddened light to them though her face seemed a little cold still. She could scarcely imagine how hard this must be on all of them, especially Rayna. "I'm sorry Asparuh. I can't...your sister saved my life once I remember." She said the only thing she could say to him since she knew she could help him get revenge, nor could she go after the attacker herself. Chances were that she didn't even know who it was. An old memory of how Raisa had given her blood made her think of back when she had saved her life. She owed the Zhefarovich woman so much because of that.

Asparuh thought for a moment if being on bed rest would be the best option for Danielle. She was rather infertile, and she would be ill. The options were not very clear in the mind of this Patriarch with things going like they are now. Hectic was the life of the Patriarch, and it was about time that he got a break. He would receive it soon enough when he stepped down from the throne of the family and give it to Kalif. Just when that would happen, he would not know. But Asparuh was not ready to give up his position either. Most family members wanted him to continue to rule this family because he had an iron fist. This family would never go wrong so long as Asparuh was still around. The more he thought on the matter of Danielle, he didn't like the idea of having her active, but she would be stressed out if she did not move around as well. "When you are feeling pains and such, you should limit yourself to limited activity. Otherwise, when you are having a good day, you are permitted to walk about the Manor. Nothing else."

The Death Eater stood up from the bed, and he turned to stare at his wife. The death of Raisa Zhefarovich would greatly affect the older generation. They had known her the longest, and she had saved them and helped them out plenty of times. She was the baby of his generation, and he was distraught that she had to die like she did. "She was killed by an Auror. That's all I know. Something has told me that she had come across him or her before, or something, thus we must not avenge her death if she were the cause of her own downfall. It's a risk of not knowing, but right now, I prefer to not lose anyone else." Asparuh needed to do a lot of arranging, and it would be the final straw to denial and shock of her disappearance. It would make the death real. "We all owe her a lot of gratitude..." Asparuh poke wisely, before he added, "I have to finish up some other things. Stay here, because I don't want to have to lose anyone else from the good old days." Asparuh exited his bed chambers, before he made his way to prepare for the day.
