Although most woman disliked the whole pregnancy process, Liyla had been enjoying it all nine months she happened to be pregnant. The whole process of being a mother and carrying a baby was just extremely comforting to her to know that she would soon get to hold her newborn son in her arms. 'I think I'm going to miss being pregnant though..' Liyla quietly stood up from the desk she had been sitting at as she wrote a letter to Raven to see how she was doing at school. She missed her daughter and really hoped for the holiday's to hurry up and come around so she could come home for awhile so she could see her once again. Even though she had been almost forced to stay here by Asparuh, she wasn't so upset about it anymore because she truly loved Asparuh and being in his presence. Liyla had even grown accustomed to being around his family and her other children once again.

Sending the letter by Owl to Durmstrang, Liyla sighed to herself and watched it fly away. What she was going to do now that the letter was finished she had no idea, perhaps read a book or two while she waited for someone to appear that could possibly keep her entertained for awhile. Just as she turned around and headed away from the window she suddenly felt a sharp pain in stomach and let out a loud gasp that she was sure could even be heard from a few rooms over. 'Oh please tell me..' Her thoughts shifted over to the thought of her being in labor once again, it was the worst pain she had experienced in a long time and it worried her so much.

Raisa passed by wearing a gorgeous gown and heels as she passed the corridors. Raisa sensed a death today, of all days! On All Hallow's Eve, the most perfect day for a death! Whether or not she would cause it was the question. With her hair tightly in a bun, her onyx eyes thirsted for the spill of blood. Her ears did not fail her, and as she passed the accursed *****'s room, she heard a gasp; of pain. Raisa turned her head and the heels stopped clicking against the stone floor. Entering the door, Raisa passed through and she uttered icily, "What is wrong, miss Mirayinov? Do you feel pain?" Raisa smirked a bit, but then her statue-like face resumed in its coldness. Raisa narrowed her onyx eyes as the look that could pass fear into others - but Liyla would be used to it - fell upon Liyla's stomach. How she hated the thought of someone bearing a spawn. It was disgusting. Pure-blood or not.

Liyla's dark green eyes stared up at Raisa harshly for a moment before they softened again as she felt the pain increase and shoot through her abdomen again, she was in too much pain to really retort back to her and really put up with her today. "I think that's a little obvious. I think the baby is coming." She gasped in pain again when the feeling came back tenfold, the baby was definitely coming and there was now way around it because if it was one thing she knew well it was that Asparuh's children had a way of doing what they wanted regardless of what everyone else wanted. The pain she was feeling though was much more worse than before, either something was wrong or this baby was truly the worst of the bunch that she would have given birth too.

"Perhaps we should go to St. Mungos." She managed to breath out as she tried not to cry out in pain again. Perhaps the Healers could check to see if something was wrong or if she just wasn't used to childbirth in such awhile, after all Asparuh had always managed to produce beastly children so perhaps this was all normal.

Raisa put her black fingertips to her lips, and she uttered, "Oh, just for that little snarky comment, you won't be leaving this bed." Heels clicked as she stepped toward the bed. "And give you a chance to give your baby up to one of those red-headed sister's of yours or even a muggle family? I think not." The back of Raisa's hand connected with Liyla's jaw, as Raisa returned into her colder form. "Now, start pushing while I summon the Patriarch and see how we will deal with this mess." Raisa turned and she summoned a house elf. "Fetch the Patriarch! Now!" Raisa didn't much appreciate her brother, but it was the best in the situation. Perhaps he knew of a good healer for this. Raisa knew how to assist with giving birth, but she would need assistance.

Liyla had no energy or will to fight back with Raisa about the situation, even as she was slapped all she could do was sit there and glare ta her with her cold green eyes. Another shoot of pain hit her and she actually began to feel dizzy and nauseous, this baby was giving by far the most painful and troubling labor pain she had ever felt from any of the times she had ever given birth. The mention of Asparuh coming along did not calm her any more than it usually would have because she was feeling really weird about this. "W-what?" The air head actually wanted her to keep pushing when there was no healer around, was she absolutely out of her right mind when she had said that. Was if there was something very wrong that could harm the baby and they didn't know about it.

"Oh!" The pain seemed to be increasing more and more as the time went by, and she actually wished that it would just all end right now. Liyla wished they would let her go to St Mungos but it could n't be helped since it seemed embedded in their minds that she was having the baby there.

An elf came, shaking in fear, in Asparuh's chambers. Asparuh was staring at the portrait, and he narrowed his eyes when the elf spoke. "So...sorry sir. Miss Raisa summons you! Lady Liyla...she is giving birth my Lord!" The elf vanished when Asparuh glared harshly down at him. Apparating to the room with the family tree, Asparuh saw where Nicolette was, and he put an elf in charge of finding her and bringing her into the Manor. The charms were lifted so she would have access. Disapparating, Asparuh went back to the corridors, before entering the room with Liyla. Not a single emotion was upon his face, and he stared at Raisa as she knelt and stood back up. Asparuh said nothing, but his black eyes were upon Liyla. If the signs were right, this was the one to lead the newer descendants into power.

Nicolette had been spending most of her time away from her new found family back at her old home in Russia that had been abandoned years ago. It had brought back many memories for her that it was overwhelming, she hadn't been to this place since her family was killed when she was three years old and barely understood the meaning of life herself. As she busy going through old trunks and boxes of her parents stuff and putting random things on the floor that she wanted to look at later when a house elf decided to pop up and scare the living daylights out of her. 'I don't know how the hell you people find me...' Was the thought that ran through her empty mind as the elf explained why it was there, so Liyla was in labor and they needed her help with the whole thing. Even if she was nervous that Kalif was there and thought about having to face him again, they needed her help and to this family it seemed like family trumped over anything else. Pushing her pride aside she sighed and went with the elf to the Zhefarovich Manor.

Her Outfit didn't suit what one would wear as a Haler but she could care less because she was there to help Asparuh and the others. "Okay, what's going on?" Was the first thing that left her mouth when she and the House Elf appeared at the manor. Oh goodness, Liyla really was in labor and she looked like she was a mess already, poor thing really looked like she needed some help with this. Her eyes went to Raisa's form before she sighed and stepped over to Liyla, sometimes it just really sucked being a healer.

Raisa murmured, "Liyla, start to breathe in the normal fashion. You have been through this before. Many times. Remember." Liyla was on the far side of Liyla to allow Nicolette to cover the other side. "Fix your legs in the proper position, and prop yourself back against the pillows." Raisa was being rather bossy, but she wanted this baby to be born for some odd reason. Something said that if this baby was born, and born fast, then everything would be better. Raisa's hand covered Liyla's forehead and she glanced over at Nicolette. Something seemed strange about this childbirth. Even now, Raisa could tell, there were going to be difficulties.

Liyla of course caught the glances between Raisa and Nicolette and that made her very nervous for some reason, usually at least one them was running their mouth over something or another. "Something is different about this one though." Liyla breathed breathed before she let out another gasp of pain, even though she was feeling extremely off about this she did as Raisa told her and tried to even out her breaths and calm her body down. The less stressed she was hopefully the easier of a birth this would be for her and everyone else.

"Is something wrong?" Liyla breathed out as she felt another contraption hit her like a mighty wave, this baby was surely going to be born full of evil or power. The pain and horror she was feeling was proof of this, she just hoped the baby was alright.

Asparuh conjured a black chair and took a seat close yet not too close to the scene. Asparuh chose not to be around such areas for too long. Seeing the glances, and having a sneak peek into Raisa's mind, Asparuh knew that there would be issues. Just what, he didn't know. Asparuh knew that something like this would happen, a great evil being born into the world, but at what cost? That never played into his mind. Asparuh began to analyze this in his mind, as his lips parted and he uttered, "Just handle this situation." Little did he know, he had to endure to a few hours of active labor, until the child really comes. But Asparuh had a feeling, once that time arrived, something even worse could happen.

Nicolette was extremely tired and hazy because it because both she and Raisa had been at this whole labor issue for a few hours now. Honestly this kid wasn't even born yet and he was giving people issues and orders, he obviously didn't want to be born yet and was trying his hardest to draw this out. "Okay, she's almost end at the active labor, the baby will be ready to be born soon." Nicolette stated to everyone one in the room, especially Raisa who was thankfully helping her out with all of this or she probably wouldn't be able to handle this. However something was just not right throughout this labor and she had finally found what the issue here was. "Raisa...come over here for a second." Nicolette whispered as she motioned for the tall blonde to come over to a corner with her, this birth had major issues and she needed to speak with Raisa about them before anything was done. Why did Hallow's Eve always have to end up so d*mn epic for her all the time.

Howling wind through the Manor and outside made things even more eerie. Raisa did not mind. It was the common stormy weather of the house. When Raisa was beckoned, she walked over to Nicolette gracefully. Raisa murmured, so Liyla and Asparuh possibly could not hear, "I assume you know what is wrong. And what could possibly become of it." Raisa did not glance toward the direction of the two. Raisa knew that Liyla was in no condition to give birth. Not after all the trauma she has been through. Raisa smirked at the thoughts of the consequences, given that an heir was not lost.

Nicolette was thankful that Raisa had noticed that Liyla and this birth was having some serious issues at the moment, even to the point where Nicolette was almost worried that nothing could be done. Her golden eyes shifted to Liyla's form before she sighed and brought a hand up to push her hair back, if only she could go home and not have to deal with this crap today. "If she pushed that baby out she'll pretty much bleed to death. And if she doesn't, the baby will die..." The words came out of her mouth and quickly, she hoped Raisa caught all of hit though because this was the whole issue and there was nothing Nicolette could really do at the moment to work around any of it. Once again her eyes shifted to Liyla, she felt bad about this but there was nothing that could be done. "Either way, either she has to die or the baby does. Because I refuse to cut anyone open." Nicolette was pretty sure that even surgery wouldn't help Liyla at this point but anything was possible, however she didn't want to try is with the risk so high for both the woman and the baby. They were going to have to make decision over the woman or the baby...

Raisa ran her fingers through her blonde hair, her onyx eyes lacked any signs of sympathy. "She isn't dilated enough, and it is at the point where the baby has to come out. There is nothing that can be done, and it is a choice that will have to be made." A smirk flickered over the Death Eater's lips, "A death is most certain. I suggest letting Liyla know, and allow her to choose, and possibly Asparuh as well." Raisa turned her body a bit, as she stared out the window. The storm was picking up, and tonight had gone from worse, to better. Any news of a death made Raisa overjoyed, no matter whose it was. Hopefully, Liyla would choose the brat to live, over herself. Why lose a perfectly healthy heir? It isn't like Liyla could get pregnant again after this ordeal.

Nicolette's golden eyes narrowed a bit before she let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding all that much, the fact that her and Raisa both were on the same page relaxed her because then she felt less panicked about the fact that someone was most likely going to die within the hours. Being a Healer for fifteen years at St. Mungos plus still continuing it today she was used to not being able to save everyone and came to terms with the fact that she had no right to play god. "Alright then, so...who's going to talk to who then?" Someone was going to have to inform Asparuh for sure in case he disagreed with Liyla's decision or just didn't care all together. Point was that he had a right to know and one of them was going to have to tell them. Hearing another sharp cry form Liyla caused Nicolette to flinch, perhaps they should have drugged her?

The sharp cry made Raisa laugh darkly. It wasn't like she could help herself. Where was Rayna to enjoy the sounds of pain of a woman both disliked? Then again, who couldn't hear it? Liyla was such a loud-mouth after all. Raisa sighed, "I'll inform my brother. I can handle him while you handle the...other." Raisa turned and she approached her older brother sitting down. She knelt down and put one hand on the arm of the chair, not touching the Patriarch. "My brother, Liyla is unable to give birth to your heir. There is a solution. Either the baby dies and she lives, or she dies and the baby lives. We have decided to leave it to the mother's decision. But that is what is going to happen right now." Raisa stood up straight, and she walked over to Liyla's side and she smirked at the obviously in pain woman.

She blinked as she tried to restrain herself from laughing at Raisa's reactions to hearing Liyla being in extreme pain, she adored the woman to no end but sometimes she was able to creep Nicolette just too easily for her own liking. When Raisa stepped away to talk to Asparuh Nicolette headed toward Liyla and started by checking her vital signs and stats to make sure nothing had changed while she and Raisa spoke about the situation. When everything was in the clear she let her golden eyes shift onto Liyla before they darkened with the thoughts of knowing what she was about to reveal to the woman. Okay Liyla we have a problem." Her voice was soft but stern, being in healer mode means she had to put away her common sense and just do what was best for the health of whomever was surviving this. In order for one to live the other had to die, so she knew either way she was going to have to do this.

"Either the baby dies and you live, or you dies and the baby lives. There is a complication that would prevent both of you from surviving this. We decided to leave the choice of who lives up to you." Nicolette stated her eyes averting from Liyla so she wouldn't have to see the emotions in the woman's eyes about the news she just told her. Soon Raisa had returned and she wondered what was going to happen, it felt like time was literally slowing down for her right now.

With Asparuh being there everything still didn't feel better for her because the two woman that were with her weren't giving her any clue of what was going on with her at the moment. Her eyes shifted to the gold-eyed woman for a moment as she winced in pain, the baby was going to be born soon enough but somehow neither of the woman looked eager or happy about it. "What's going on?" she asked the woman almost rudely. What was going on with her baby right now, she wanted answers and she was going to get it one way or another, sitting up she gasped in pain again knowing fully well that something was wrong with the way Nicolette was acting. But the news she mentioned was enough to stop her heart and lose her breath within an instant, they were making her choose between her or her baby.

"What? You seriously mean you can't do anything?!" She hadn't meant to yell at the woman but she was scared and probably in more pain than she's even been in her whole life. Not even the torture curse could compare with the pain she was feeling now. Plus now they were trying to make her choose between her own life or her baby's. "L-leave it up to Asparuh." Liyla knew if she had to make it she would have chosen her own life and that was too selfish of her to live on with. He would make the right decision, even if she had a feeling it would involve her death. 'Even if I hope that he might...' She let out another cry in pain, the baby was demanding to be born soon because the pain was increasing even more than it already was.

The migraine Asparuh was receiving wasn't being helped by Liyla's screams and Raisa's and Nicolette's little chatter. Due to his head, he couldn't use Legilimency to figure out just what is going on about this birth. It should have been an easy birth, for the previous ones proved to have no difficulties. However, because of Liyla's age, Asparuh started to think differently. Then, Raisa told him the news. Asparuh stared at his sister in disbelief, but with Nicolette to confirm it, it had to be true. Asparuh stood up, and he folded his arms across his chest. What was Liyla going to choose? Her life, or the baby's? Then, she said the words that made Asparuh freeze in thought. It was his choice. Normally, he would have left that to the mother's, but now, it was up to him. One of their lives could be saved, if he were to make the right choice.

Slowly, he closed his eyes and he thought over the pros and the cons. More than likely, if he chose Liyla's life, then the heir would be lost. Then, the family could be at stake unless someone produced an heir that had the same signs. This would be Liyla's last baby, and he couldn't produce the heir himself. Leaving things up to chance was not in Asparuh's best interest. If he chose Liyla's death, then he would have the heir, and the Zhefarovich family would in turn gain another as Liyla controlled the Mirayinov family, and Asparuh would have control over that family as well. Liyla would be lost, and Asparuh was unsure about losing the mother of the majority of his pure-blood children. Kalif turned out to be a suitable man, a future Patriarch, and he killed the mother not long after the birth.

As it turned out, this was a harder decision than Asparuh had wanted it to be. It should be simple: Mother's life or the baby's life. Asparuh opened his eyes, and he turned to face Liyla, Raisa and Nicolette. "The decision has been made," coldly announced the Patriarch. The black depths of his eyes showed no empathy, no sympathy, and all they were was absent of anything good in life, and all that remained was evil and utter coldness. Asparuh muttered, "Kill the mother." Thunder clashed and lightning flashed in the sky. The ghosts of the Manor could be heard whispering and shouting, as other tortured souls were screaming in agonizing pain. Asparuh had made his decision, and Liyla would be no longer a burden to him after tonight. He would have his heir, and the family will stand proud as it always has been.

Unshed tears came to Liyla's green eyes when she heard the decision that had been made by Asparuh, the man she had come to love with all the heart was able to share. It wasn't that she was upset but she knew that he had probably made that choice based on what would be better for the family, just the thought of dying and not being able to see her child grow or the family she had come to love over the year anymore. "Oh god..." Were the only words she was able to say before the pain returned to her body and she fully became aware that this would be her last day living on the earth, it seemed so bitter-sweet actually. This world was filled with hatred, wars, and so much misery for so many who didn't truly deserve it, and perhaps she needed to be away from it all now that she had proved herself to be useful in life in some way. Liyla couldn't bring herself to hate none of the people in the room for the decision, even if she thought it was almost unfair for her life to be lost at the cost of another's, it's not like they controlled life.

Nicolette lifted her sparkling golden orbs from Liyla's form to Asparuh's as she displayed her obvious shock at his decision to let the child live over the woman, there must have been a good reason for him to make this decision though because Nicolette knew he was no fool when it came to decisions like this. Averting her gaze away from Asparuh she tightened her fists and looked at Raisa softly before she let her gaze drop again, she would leave the delivering part to her while she made sure Liyla was able to stay alive until the baby was born, even if she was skilled in both it would be a lot easier for her to to the healing portion instead of the other. "Alright. That means your going to have to start pushing soon Liyla." They were going to have to induce labor onto her whether she was up to it or not because the Patriarch had made his decision and it was clear that they had to follow it even if they thought the idea of it was wrong. To Nicolette, everyone was born to just die any ways so why fear it when you could just accept it when it comes your way.

"Raisa, you willing to deliver? I'll make sure she stays alive until the baby is born." Once the baby was born it would be impossible for it to be healed but Nicolette could do all she could to make sure she stayed alive until the birth was over. If only she could back to her own family after this whole thing, she missed them so much and the whole thought of a baby just made her miss Damianos and Nicolas all that much more.

The words that came out of Asparuh's mouth caused Raisa to smirk evilly, as her body filled with glee and energy. Liyla would be the one dying tonight. It was just sweet to the tongue. Raisa's head went through Liyla's red hair as she cooed, "Just hang in there. We'll have the baby out and you just might be able to see it before Death takes your soul away." Raisa softly laughed as she withdrew her hand, and she glanced over at Nicolette. Slowly nodding, Raisa, walked over to the end of the bed, ready to deliver this spawn. Raisa ordered, "Start pushing, or it will just kill you faster!"
Sometime later...
Arms covered in blood, as the baby came out and destroyed parts that would in turn kill Liyla. The beautiful blond baby was now wrapped in a black blanket. Raisa managed to clean off the baby's head, and she was utterly distraught of the thought of having to replace the bed because of how much blood was from the birth. Within moments, Liyla would be dead. This thought was almost too much for Raisa to keep from smiling. Raisa walked over to Liyla, and in her arms cradled the silent baby. The eyes were dark, silver, and he didn't look pleased. Raisa was a natural holding the child, even if she had never had one herself. Raisa murmured, "Have a good look at Asparuh Gavril Zhefarovich IV before you pass. He is so much like his father, already killing someone and not even minutes old." Such a perfect model of the Zhefarovich family! Raisa stood next to her older brother, as she cradled the little Asparuh in blood-covered arms. Family was family, and Raisa was for once, proud of her older brother's decision. Raisa kept her onyx eyes on Liyla, just waiting to see the life leave her eyes.

Getting at least one look at her newborn child in her severely weakened state before she passed on made her heart warm a little, he looked just like Asparuh did himself. Even the presence of this baby was darkening and it was then than Liyla realized that this baby held power and more fear than she had even seen in someone so young, he truly was his father all over again. 'If only I could have spent more time with you little one..' Liyla turned her head and ignored the motherly instincts that informed her that she wanted to him him because she knew fully well she couldn't as her world was already growing dark.

"Please..take care of him." She said to all of them in the room, knowing they would all be a part of the baby's life as he grew older and turned into another one of those cold-hearted Zhefarovich men that so many woman went after like blind bats. Liyla's vision was seriously going dark and her body was going numb but she could hear Nicolette shift beside her lightly. "Asparuh I...." She couldn't find herself to finish the sentence before she let out a soft sigh and knew it wasn't worth the effort to say anything to him. Relaxing a little, Liyla allowed the darkness of Death to overtake her and let her leave the prescence of this earth forever.

Nicolette watched coldly as Liyla reacted to the birth of her son and about the fact that she was slowly and obviously dying in front of them, it was harsh to see but it was life all the same so she ignored the pang in her heart as she watched Liyla. When the woman closed her eyes and fell silent she picked up the cold wrist and placed her fingers on the woman's pulse as she tried to feel around for a heartbeat, which there wasn't one to be found anywhere. "She's dead." Was the only comment she muttered before she placed the wrist back down and filled out a piece of paper that she was so used to filling out from her days of being a healer at St Mungos. All the paper said was basically the woman's age, name, and what was the cause of death, plus her signature saying that she confirmed the woman was dead. Nicolette left it on the table knowing that if they brought her St Mungos they might need that. "Do something with the body fast...it'll start to smell soon." Her nose wrinkled and she pulled the shut over most of Liyla before she cleaned her hands and try to get the image of the baby being born and the death our of her head.

As she did so her eyes shifted to the blonde baby, he was a perfect image of Asparuh and she could easily see that he could possibly follow in his father's footsteps. However one look at the baby and she was instantly reminded of her own at home that she wasn't allowed to see and her heart nearly broke. 'Don't cry...just leave.' She missed Kalif and her kids so much it was like she was all alone in the world once again. Her golden eyes averted from the look of the baby. "I need to go now. Congrats Asparuh." She commented dryly before she gave a quick kneel and headed out of the room before she burst out into tears or suddenly found herself spacing out.

"Raisa, take the child and put him in the nursery. The elves will do as you say, and have him taken care of. I'll have someone take the body to Saint Mungo's. Now," ordered Asparuh to his sister, glad that she had left, not long after Nicolette. He glanced over the dead body, before he shook his head and uttered, "Love is for the weak. Shame you didn't realize that sooner, Liyla." Asparuh turned and he walked out, shutting the door behind him, and he walked down the corridors before he soon ended up in the Patriarch's Lair. He took his seat, and mentally told people to take care of the body, taking it to Saint Mungo's where it would have an obvious reason on how she died, and the baby was in the care of the father. A burden was taken care of, and a new evil was born. A future and chosen ruler of the family within the next few decades: Asparuh Gavril Zhefarovich IV.
