First || Marisol: Spanish origin; means bitterness [sounds like: NOT "aerosol" or "parisol" those are soft i's, it's more like mar-eee-sol]
Middle || Adriana: Spanish origin; means darkness
Last || Woods: Topographic name: someone who lives in the woods
Nicknames || Mari (not the same as "Mary", roll the r!)
In Depth || One of Marisol's biggest pet peeves is when people mispronounce her name. She knows not everyone can help it due to their accent (or lack of one), but it just bothers her when they don't even try to pronounce it right. Marisol hates the way her name is pronounced in English (it sounds like "Aerosol" which is gross). People often mistake that her name means 'sun' and 'sun' since 'mar' is Spanish for sea and 'sol' is Spanish for sun, but that's not what her name means, although she really likes those two things so she pretends it does anyway. She grew up on an island so she's always loved the sea and since full moons are the bane of her existence, she appreciates the sun so much more than the average person.

In Depth || After being bitten by a werewolf, Marisol felt disillusioned and distrusting of how "cool" magic could be. After all, if there's no cure for lycanthropy what good is magic for? Therefore, her disheartened attitude affected her spell-casting skills. Because her wand core takes quite a bit of time to bond with its caster, it hasn't performed as well as it should at first, which has caused her to think she's worse than she actually is. However after all the adversity and struggles faced her wand eventually bonded with her and balanced out, allowing her to reach her full potential once she stopped doubting her abilities.

Playby || Shelley Hennig
Race/Ethnicity || Although Marisol has a light complexion and lighter hair, she can "pass" for white, but she is proudly Latina.
Hair || Marisol's hair is naturally brown, but since she spends a lot of time out in the sun on the island, it tends to get sun bleached into a light dirty blonde. Currently she has it trimmed short above her shoulders because she is living in Colombia with her grandparents and it is extremely hot there.
Eyes || Brown; Long, expressive eyelashes
Other Features || Marisol has several scars from the night of her attack. Thankfully most of them can be hidden, except she does have a small one going across her left temple where she fell face down onto a branch and hit her head there. She has several long claw marks running down the back of her neck and onto her shoulder/upper back. She also has a bite mark scar on her right side/waist. It is visible when she wears a bikini/bra so she only wears one-piece bathing suits. She also has scars on her palms from digging her nails into her palms. These happened while human, but werewolves, even in human form, leave permanent scars for whatever injuries they cause. More scars are anticipated from her transformations.

Boggart || A werewolf; mostly a werewolf attacking any of her loved ones because she wouldn't wish her condition on anyone.
Riddikulus || In order to make the werewolf go away, Marisol would imagine the full moon that hung over the wolf turns into the sun so the wolf begins to burn and shrink due to the sunlight. She knows that's not what actually happens to werewolves in sunlight but it's the way she would imagine it to defeat the boggart.
Dementor || There are two memories that would haunt Marisol if she faced a dementor: the night she was attacked, and the last time she and Wyatt ever talked because it was their last time seeing each other and she misses him.

Veritaserum || Marisol's biggest, deepest secret is that she is glad she got bitten because it made her work harder at proving that she can be a witch. If the magic in her blood was what helped her to survive an attack like that, it must mean she's good enough to do magic therefore it pushes her to be a better wizard. This is something she does not know or realize about herself at all and would surprise her to hear herself say this if she took the Veritaserum.
