*takes place during the international match between Hogwarts versus Beauxbatons

Asaiah was sad that he couldn't be in the stands to cheer for both Jessica and Tesla but had figured out a way to still watch the game a couple of weeks ago whilst writing to Jessica. He ran up the stairs towards the Owlery the moment Beauxbatons arrived at Hogwarts so he could look around for the best spot to watch the match. He had invited both his friends to come and watch the international match with him, though didn't know of either of them would actually join him because he'd sent them a note instead of asking them in person. So, without waiting for his friends to show up, Asaiah grabbed his pair of Omnioculars given to him as a birthday present for his twelfth birthday and leant his elbows on the windowsill, watching the Quidditch pitch through the Omnioculars, adjusting it so it would be on default settings again. The fifteen-year-old, even though no one could hear him from up here, cheered loudly when he saw his friends walking onto the field, keeping his Omnioculars locked on Jessica for a minute or two, wishing he could be there with her instead of all the way up here.

Marisol knew nearly the entire school was going to be out watching the Quidditch game today because it was against another school entirely. It was pretty exciting and Marisol wished so badly that she could be out there watching it, but Asaiah had sent her a note about watching it in the Owlery which was better than nothing. She had asked Merrill if she could borrow her pair of omnioculars and set off towards the owlery just as she heard Asaiah cheering. "Hush you're going to get us caught, Murphy," she said with a laugh as she entered. They weren't supposed to be out here but since this was a special game she figured all the professors and prefects would be out there watching as well so their chances of getting caught were slim. She came up beside the Slytherin and put the omnioculars up to her face to see if the game had started yet.

Asaiah smiled as he watched the two Quidditch teams. He was happy for Tesla that she, and the rest of the Hufflepuff team, had the opportunity to play against the other school, but couldn't help to feel a little jealous. If only they hadn't gone through with breaking into the Ravenclaw common room... maybe it would have been him standing there instead of his friend. He smiled brightly when hearing his best friend's comment and looked up from his Omnioculars at her. ''Like anyone is going to hear me,'' he said, looking back at the field so he wouldn't miss a thing of what was happening down there, grinning widely, ''Almost the whole school is there.'' Asaiah had expected that most of the students and professors would be watching the match, as it was a pretty special and important game, so hadn't worried about someone hearing him cheering them on. ''Glad you could come, this is going to be such a good game.'' the Slytherin told Marisol when hearing movement next to him.

Marisol chuckled as his response, knowing he was right. "Everyone except Zara," she said, teasing him about his ex-girlfriend. She scanned the crowd to see if the twins were protesting but couldn't see anything, and then looked back on the field as the teams were standing on the ground waiting for the game to begin. Asaiah's team had almost been the ones playing against Beauxbatons but somehow Hufflepuff had still won the cup even though they lost against Slytherin. At least Asaiah hadn't missed out on playing such a good game today. She nodded her head when he said it was going to be a good game and turned to him to ask, "Do you think they'll invite them to play against us again next year?" She hoped they'd get a chance to experience this type of game as players next time and not just spectators.

He shook his head whilst grinning again. ''It almost looks like you and Wyatt miss her.'' he teased her back, knowing that both his friends had been sort of glad when their relationship ended earlier this year. ''Do you know if he's coming too?'' Asaiah then asked, wishing that his pal would join them also because he missed him dearly now that they couldn't hang out as much as they used to do anymore. Luckily for them, the year was almost at an end, and soon the three of them were free to do whatever they wanted to do again. Asaiah shrugged. ''Don't know,'' he said, though hoped they would because it would sure be awesome to play against another wizarding school. ''Maybe they'll invite Scotland next, that'd be kinda cool, wouldn't it?'' To see both Hogwarts schools play against each other in a Quidditch match would sure as hell be something he'd like to see next. ''But you needn't worry about that, it's not like Gryffindor will win anything anytime soon.'' the Slytherin chuckled, nudging Marisol playfully.

"Ha! Not a chance, just never letting you forget that you actually dated someone who hates Quidditch," she joked. She was sure there were other redeeming qualities about Zara that had attracted Asaiah to her, but Marisol didn't care to be sympathetic towards her anymore because she had confronted them rudely and insulted Marisol. The latina shrugged her shoulders when Asaiah asked about Wyatt. "I don't know, I hope so," she said a little wistfully, since they were never sure whether Wyatt would be in the mood to join them or not. She considered Asaiah's idea about other schools playing instead and she replied, "Yeah that would be cool! How many wizarding schools are there?" Since she was muggle born it was sometimes hard for her to remember that there were wizards all over the world. Marisol gasped and hit Asaiah on the arm playfully when he insulted Gryffindor but she threw her head back and laughed. "We're gonna make a comeback next year, just you wait!" she declared with a grin, still laughing. Once the game started, Mari put the borrowed omnioculars back up to her face and said, "So which one's your girlfriend?"

Wyatt had honestly meant to only have a cat nap but when he woke the dorm was empty as was the common room. It was only after looking at the clock that he found that he was late to meet with Asaiah and Marisol. His constant exhaustion was starting to make him think he had a parasite but the boy put that aside and would be sure to go to St. Mungo's once there was a break just to be sure. He knew that any nurse he saw here would probably make him feel bad for having to go back on his promises. For now, Wyatt grabbed a pair of shoes and threw them on before heading to the Owlrey. It was a place they were allowed to be but perhaps not for the purposes of watching this game. It would have to do, though. As Wyatt walked up he could already hear both his best friend's voices and he rolled his eyes. If he was less tired he might pretend to be a professor to give them a shock. Instead he announced himself with, "Sorry I'm late. I was sleeping." They probably already knew that considering his habit of just sleeping as much as he could but said it anyway as an excuse for his tardiness.

Asaiah grinned at Marisol's comment. ''Want to talk about your poor choice of boys instead?'' he teased. Asaiah nodded when she told him that she too hoped that their friend would come join them to watch the game. Wyatt had been off lately, more so than usual. It worried him though he did not do anything about it as he was sure that Wyatt would just shrug it off if he asked about it. ''She's the girl with the pink hair,'' he told his friend, pointing at the only person currently on the pitch with bright pink hair. ''We joked about how easy it'd be for me to recognise her with this hair colour from up here, she wasn't wrong as you can see.'' he smiled as he was thinking back on their previous round of letters. Asaiah shrugged when she asked how many other wizarding schools there were. ''I don't know, nine?'' He had never really cared much about the other schools except for Beauxbatons because of his sisters, and Durmstrang because of his brother.

He cheered when his friend took possession of the Quaffle almost immediately after the whistle was blown. Asaiah zoomed in on Tesla as she made her way towards the three hoops on the opposite side of the pitch, making sure that function to replay was on for when she would make the shot so he could watch it back later and maybe even show it to her too. His smile widened when he saw her taking the shot, and then scoring, cheering loudly for his friend. After watching the other Hufflepuff players cheer as well, Asaiah moved the Omnioculars to look what the other school was doing now that they were in possession of the ball, but more importantly, focused on how Jessica was doing whilst searching for bludgers to hit towards the Hogwarts players. She missed, but she would hit the next one, he was sure of it. Because Asaiah had been paying close attention to Jessica, he hadn't noticed that one of the Beauxbaton chasers had managed to score a goal, but was glad that they were back on equal points again.

Asaiah looked up when he heard another voice coming from behind him, smiling brightly as he looked at his best pal. ''Dude, finally.'' he said, scooting over so Wyatt could stand next to him. He gave Wyatt his pair of Omnioculars so he could watch some replays of the game and then turned his attention back to the field, squinting his eyes so the only thing he could see were dots flying around. It was a good game, and from what he had seen it looked like the two teams were equal to each other, both managing to score pretty quickly once the match had started. He nudged his friend with his elbow saying, ''Did you see Tess' shot?'' obviously very impressed by it. He was definitely going to talk to Tesla about it later. At some point during the game Asaiah and Wyatt kept switching turns on the Omnioculars so both could see parts of the match, and before he knew it, the whistle had blown again. Surprised by how soon it had ended, Asaiah signed at shook his head, being a little disappointed that Beauxbatons hadn't managed to catch the snitch first though because he knew the situation they were in, couldn't blame their seeker for not catching it sooner.

Marisol laughed when he brought up her own dating history and conceded the argument, shaking her head slightly at him. She took her omnioculars and looked around at the visiting team and instantly saw the girl with pink hair since she was easily visible. "That's really handy," Marisol said with an amused chuckle. From the omnioculars she could tell that the girl was pretty but Marisol was too interested in the game to keep her focus on her for too long. "Must suck that you can't see her though," she said thoughtfully. If it was her, she probably would've snuck down to the stands, but Asaiah was a lot more sensible than she was so he avoided further punishment for possibly getting caught.

When she heard Wyatt enter she turned and smiled at him. "Hey sleepyhead!" she greeted him before turning back to the game. She made space for the third member to join them by the window and said, "You cheering for Hufflepuff because of your girlfriend?" with a small smirk on her face. It was still weird for her to think of Wyatt having a girlfriend so she was going to tease him until the idea became normal to her. She focused her attention back on the game and then all of a sudden the game was over too soon. "It's over already?" Marisol said incredulously, "That was so short!" she complained.

Wyatt shrugged his shoulders uneasily as both of his friends made comments about how he was late, he didn't want to bring it up again so he hoped if he said nothing they would leave it be. Stella was already on his case about it more than he'd like so the boy just watched the game through borrowed Omnioculars, seeing how Hufflepuff had already scored with barely a few minutes into the game. It was quite the shot but he looked up from them as he said, "I'll be cheering for them because I'm loyal to Hogwarts." He had to admit he would not be cheering for Ravenclaw if that opportunity had presented itself but he was glad it hadn't. Seeing as Amber wasn't a Quidditch player he felt it wasn't exactly necessary to play favourites with her house anyway. Passing the omnioculars back and forth Wyatt was shocked that the game had ended so quickly. "What the hell! Beauxbatons must really suck to lose so fast to Hufflepuff," he said, teasing Asaiah and his 'girlfriend' sure that there would be some sort of defence from his best bro.
