Octavian was already having a pretty good night at the Halloween feast. He had spent the first part of it with a few girls who had all been in the year below him. He hadn't really flirted with a of them but it had been fun all the same. Now prince charming wanted to find his princess for the evening. With a fresh glass of pumpkin juice in hand Octavian had moved away from the girls and moved oer to the other side of the hall. He didn't want food, he wanted to dance but he didn't want to dance on his own, he wanted to bust some moves that would impress the ladies. Maybe he would soon get the chance.

Lol, sorry to burst your bubble bro!

Agrippina extricated herself from her friends and headed towards the tables of food and drink. She had spent so much time socialising that she'd forgotten to eat anything. She smiled though when she noticed her brother in his cute little prince outfit standing to the side. She hadn't known what he was going to be wearing to the feast, but she had to admit he looked adorable. She looked over to where Elysia was, her costume similar to Agrippina's in respect of the cat theme and gestured to her. "Hey bro! I wondered if you'd be here tonight. Love the costume." Octavian was only a little bit younger than her, but she liked to treat him like her baby brother. Despite being the same age.

Marisol had been having a blast hanging out with her best friends all evening, especially because they all looked completely different than what they usually looked like. Except maybe Asaiah, he looked completely natural as a lacrosse player, but it was probably just because he was a Quidditch player so seeing him in sports gear was not uncommon. Seeing Wyatt in tattoos and Marisol in a tiara however was not normal, and therefore pretty funny to the group of friends. Halfway through the night, Marisol had excused herself to go get a drink at a table, and when she returned she couldn't find her two best friends anymore because the Great Hall was so packed. Every year it seemed like the size of the incoming students grew larger and larger, and also the costumes grew more elaborate so they seemed to take up more space even if they actually didn't.

Marisol stood back on the outskirts of the dance floor and adjusted the tiara on her head as she searched for her friends into the crowd. When she heard the word 'bro' she whipped her head around but saw that it was a girl talking to a boy in a prince's costume. She couldn't tell if the girl was being sarcastic about telling the boy she liked his costume, but she chuckled anyway since she sensed some sort of sarcasm in her voice, although she thought the costume did look nice. She felt bad she had intruded on their moment by laughing and quickly said sorry but added, "I love your costumes by the way."

Octavian loved his sister very much, but she was the last girl he wanted to see walking towards him. He smiled at her as she came over to him though he kept his eyes peeled for any good looking girls that might otherwise pass him by while he was focusing on his sister. "Hey sis, how could i miss this? Tons of girls in costume, where else would I be?" He asked nudging her. He nodded as she complimented his costume, "Thanks yours is, well you're not leaving much to the imagination there are you sis? He couldn't help but wonder if she had worn that to get someones attention. Whoever it was he be sure to have a little chat with them. Before he could say about why she had worn that particular costume another girl showed up. He loomed her over and had to admit he was very impressed with her costume as she seemed to be with theirs. "Thank you, you look amazing yourself, I like the tiara," He grinned at her.

Agrippina winked at her brother. She could clearly see that she was his least wanted companion at the moment, but more the fun for her. He nudged her and she nudged him back knowingly. She knew from other girls that her brother was attractive, not that she really cared. She would be happy for him to get a girlfriend so maybe he'd leave her alone if she ever got a boyfriend. They were both as bad as each other in that respect. "Well, what can I say, imagination is only as limited as the brain behind it." Imagination was her business and if that mean she was helping people along, well, bonus really. Agrippina was about to ask another question when someone laughed and apologised almost at the same time. Agrippina grinned at the girl. "You look like a Princess! Come to steal my Prince Charming away have you?" She eyed the girl sceptically, looking her up and down before play-glaring. "Well you can't have him!"

Never have Kerryn had to have fun freely in her entire life. It had always been rules, classes, prejudiced brainwashing from her parents, formal ball or parties with Kerryn's parents and their friends. She wanted to experience all the fun just for once, and this is it, she would come to the Halloween feast that she didn't formerly planned to come. She summoned her dark green mermaid costumes, with seaweed and pearls hand sown on it by her house elf. She put it on and started to draw green dots on her face, and heavy green eye shadows on her eye lid as well as a dark lipstick on her lips. She took some shells and pearls arranging and attaching it on her hair. When she was done, she went up to the great hall and immediately saw people enjoying the party. But just for one time, she wont let that happen. The Slytherin eyed on a girl who they've stepped off on the wrong foot. She took a pumpkin juice before talking to the girl. "Marisol Woods, you don't look so pathet... I mean you look well tonight. Kerryn had never been good in complimenting other people, and she wasn't sure if Marisol would give her another chance or a fight is to be done right. Noticing Agrippina next to her "Darling Agri the cat" she pulled her dear friend into a hug.

Marisol smiled and said, "Thank you," as the two people complimented her costume, and re-adjusted her tiara. "The tiara is my favorite part," she said with a small smile. Then she turned to the girl, facing them fully so that they could see her entire costume and said, "Actually I'm a Queen, not a princess," and gestured to her sash which only said 'Miss Teen USA' but indicated that she was the winner of a pageant and therefore a queen, not a runner up princess. She laughed and was about to respond to the girl's accusations of trying to steal the prince, but she didn't get a chance to as she heard her name being called. She narrowed her eyes once she saw who it was, but was surprised at the comment that came from her. "Thank you?" she replied, not sure if it was a compliment or not. Why was it that every time Marisol was talking to a cute boy, Kerryn showed up and interrupted it. Since the Ravenclaw girl had already said her name, she turned back to the blondes and said, "I'm Marisol by the way."

A lot of thing seemed to happen at once. Almost as soon as he spoken to the girl Pina had lept into protective sister mode and told her if she had come to steal the prince she was out of luck. Octavian shook her head wanting to jump in but another girl showed up, she was older and seemed to know the girl dressed as a princess. There seemed to be a little tension between the two but the words spoken between them seemed pleasant enough. Octavian looked between them and was glad when the girl who seemed to be called Marisol indeed confirmed her name and Octavian was able to address her costume clarification. "Apologies for my sisters ignorance, but with that in mind your majesty, may I steal you for a dance?" He asked with a smile.

Camelia Kyle was dressed as a graduate, which the robe nearly swallowed the small, petite girl. Her wavy brown hair bounced as she ran around the great hall, looking for something sweet to munch on. She managed to find all the cookies she could ever want, and then grabbed a handful. She found her way around, while munching on a chocolate chip. Her brown eyes managed to land on a group of people, one of which she recognized as Agrippina. Camelia did not see her brother here, but she wanted to see how the Vetrova girl was. She approached the group before her eyes managed to land on Agrippa's twin, asking another Gryffindor for a dance. And there was another older than them all. Camelia slowly approached the sister and gave a quick smile, before motioning a cookie in her direction.

If it was one thing that Elysia did not appreciate, it was dressing up. Asking her grandfather to change her air, she managed another feline look. This would likely be the last time she would ever dress up. The Ravenclaw took her time to get to the Great Hall, before she went to the drinks and found some punch. After she found herself a cup, her silvery green eyes looked over the crowd before finding a tiger. That was Agrippina. Elysia made her way over to the group, and silently stood next to Agrippina, overhearing the conversation but not participating. Some first year came over, and she looked a little on the lost side. But it seemed she knew the twins. It seemed like Elysia did a great job at befriending twins. Elysia just prayed that Zared would not show up.

Marisol was a little overwhelmed at the sudden influx of people joining their conversation. She was reminded why she usually stuck to her group of friends but they were lost in the crowd and it wouldn't kill her to make new friends. She had to admit that she was rather pleased to hear that the blonde girl was the sister of the guy in the prince costume, and now her reaction made a lot more sensE.

When the boy asked for a dance, Marisol looked around at the crowd once just to make sure he was talking to her. Once she realized he meant her, Marisol blushed but said, "Sure I'd love to." Marisol carefully stepped away from the rest of the girls and grabbed his hand so he could lead her to the dance floor. As she passed them, Marisol couldn't help but flash the tiniest smug smile at his sister and Kerryn, the other two girls she had no idea about it they seemed to know him. As they reached the dance floor she turned to him and smiled nervously but was excited to be here nonetheless. "You seem pretty popular," she said, gesturing to the group of girls waiting for him.

Agrippina mock glared at her brother before turning to Marisol as she explained her costume in more detail. She looked at the girl properly, she wasn't sure what a "Miss Teen USA" was but figured it must have something to do with muggles. It must have for her to not know about it. She didn't mind, though, she had nothing personally against muggles. They were just a little slow on the uptake sometimes. She immediately bowed her head to the "Queen" and curtsied. "Oh, please do forgive me, your majesty. I had no idea your highness was attending tonight." The glint in her eyes showed her joy, not sarcasm in her words. She was generally a fairly sarcastic person, but she didn't know Marisol from a bar of soap. Though Octavian seemed mighty interested. "I don't suppose you'd allow me off with a warning your highness?" Now that she had started it, she felt rather compelled to continue. She was about to ask if anyone would like something to drink when they were interrupted by Kerryn Howard, a rather good friend of Agrippina's. From her tone, it was clear she didn't like Marisol, but she liked so very few people it was hard to keep score. Agrippina reciprocated the hug happily and wiggled her butt slightly so the tail would move. "Would I be anyone else if I was not a kitty?" She asked.

Agrippina raised an eyebrow at Octavian when he asked Marisol if she would like to dance. As they were talking, the Kyle girl and Elysia headed her way and she waved excitedly at the both of them. Agrippina took the cookie happily as Marisol and Octavian went on their way. "Save me a dance, Bro!" she called after them as she munched on her cookie. She looked at Camelia. "You look a little lost, Hun, you looking for someone?" She was happy for her to stay with herself, Elysia and Kerryn, but with her brother and Marisol dancing, she was the odd one out. "I love your robes!"

Kerryn was irritated to see Marisol acted that way toward her, she wanted Marisol to start a conversation. But it was Kerryn's fault for being such a rude, arrogant, selfish devil to her. But Kerryn being Kerryn she wishes for everyone to treat her specifically how she want to be treated. "That girl seems to be all over your brother huh?" Kerryn muttered under breath, she said it quietly that it's almost impossible for anyone else to hear it. She looked at the girl in an annoyed manner and quickly turned back to Agri "You can be a mud... muggle" Kerryn couldn't help to diss other those pest. "So tell me Agri, how would you like those group of people to be served? Minced? Medium rare?" Kerryn was talking about the group of students dancing including Agri's brother and his partner. Agri knew Kerryn and her family well hence she wont be offended, Agri was too smart to act like those foolish students. In fact a lot of times, Agri would calm her down with all her smart thoughts and words. Kerryn trusted Agri, she knew she can always count on thay girl. The four girls gathered and Kerryn was doing all she could to be nice to the rest of the group. She had no idea who they were but Agri would hence she leaned toward Agri's ear and whispered "Are they to be liked or...", first Kerryn prefered to be friends with those who share the same blood purity and secondly... What's second? Kerryn was far too complicated, she too had no idea what kind of person worth her time.

The students have been excited for the feast for ages now, and Cato was one of them. Dressing as an Auror, Cato entered the room and smiled at familiar faces. He spotted Marisol and went over the group that she was gathering with, unluckily she was taken for a dance with another man right when Cato reached the group. He glanced to the side seeing an attractive girl dressed up as a cat. "Ladies" Cato greeted the girls. Cato was shocked when he saw Kerryn Howard right next to the cat girl, what was she doing here? Worse, all dressed up with friends around her. Cato began to wonder if these students were all like Kerryn, or were they kind toward those who has a mix of non magical family. Cato loved the muggleborns though his parents insist him to marry a pureblood. If it wasn't for them, Cato would end up with really anyone. "Kerryn" he said in a low tone and smiled at her. They weren't exactly friends but Cato believes in kindness hence he treated her with all the goodness that he could offer. "Do you mind if I join you?" He put his wand away and took a fresh raspberry juice.

There seemed to he a never ended flux of people arriving in the group which is why Octavian was glad Marisol agreed to a dance, so he could escape his sister and her cronies. Just as he was about to walk off with his fellow Gryffindor Camelia turned up, she said nothing and wordlessly offered his sister a cookie. Octavian waved at the girl with his free hand and smiled at her before dragging Marisol onto the dance floor. He pretended not to notice the look she gave his sister and the other girls but he couldn't elp but smile at it.

The music changed just as he got Marisol out on the dance floor, it was a slow one which Octavian appreciated as he gave him an excuse to keep hold of her hand and put his other on her waist. "Not really, one is my sister, and the others are my sisters friends, if anything she's popular," He said smiling at her as they swayed with the music. "What about you? Surely you're not here alone," She didn't seem like the type to be at the party on her own, maybe she had lost her friends or something but he wasn't going to complain that she had stumbled into his path.

Marisol wasn't quite sure she believed the boy as he said the girls were mostly his sister's friends, as it was so easy to dismiss the attention from the others to appease her. But she decided not to comment on the matter as he put his hand around her waist for a slow dance. As he asked about her friends, Marisol glanced over her shoulder once more in a last attempt to see if she could find them, not that she was looking to hard for them now, and then was surprised to see the older Gryffindor Cato amongst the group of girls as well. Marisol's cheeks turned pink, feeling somehow caught even though there was no reason for her to feel guilty. She didn't know what to do but she didn't want to dwell on it as she was currently dancing with Prince Charming. She looked back up at her partner and said, "My friends are around here somewhere, but I'm sure they'll be fine without me for a little longer," she added, smiling at him. Judging by the group of girls waiting for him she didn't know how long she would have with the boy; what if each girl wanted a chance to dance with him as well?

Octavian wasn't sure if Mariaol believed him when he tols her most of the girls had been his sisters friends. It was true they were, he left out the part about the fist year being his fiancé, he suspected that would be a mood killer. It wasn't exactly something he told people, especially not a beautiful girl he liked. "Well if your friends took their eyes off you for too long that's their loss, personally I don't see how anyone could take their eyes off you at all," He smiled looking down at the girl. He couldn't get over how pretty she was. "I'm more than happy to keep you for myself until they spot you, or maybe I could keep you for the evening, you can be my date for the night," He smiled leaning down slightly to plant a kiss on the girls cheek, hoping she was game for stickig around.

Marisol blushed as the boy complimented her and simply said, "Thank you." Since she was so new to boys and flirting she wasn't sure what to reply to something like that. Recently her body had gone through some "lady changes" biologically and she was starting to think that it caused her body to release extra pheromones because she had never been complimented so much in such a short time. She glanced around once for her friends just to see if they were witnessing a cute boy actually taking an interest in her, but the boy was too distracting for her to care. If she thought she was blushing before it was nothing compared to how pink her cheeks got as he mentioned keeping her for the night and the word 'date' was used. The latina ducked her head shyly but she couldn't help the bright smile that escaped as she looked up at him. "I wouldn't mind that," she said softly. It was a little hard to see who he was exactly with the mask he was wearing, but there was no denying that this Prince was definitely Charming.

The girls cheeks seemed to grow darker with each word Octavian said to her which made him smile. Who knew he was such a charmer, other than himself. He simply nodded as she thanked him for the compliments he had been paying her. It was cute how she reacted to being complimented, it was like it was a new thing for her, if that was the case he suspected he wouldn't be the last person to fire compliments at her. The idea of him keeping her for the night seemed to go over well if the colour of her cheeks was anything to go by and when she told him that she wouldn't mind that he smiled at her. "Yeah, your friends will see you back at the common room or tomorrow I'm sure," He said as they continued to move to the music. The song would due for a change soon, and he doubted that another slow song would follow so if he wanted to make a move it would have to be now. Octavian smiled down at Marisol, deciding it was now or never, he leaned forward and placed his lips on hers.

Camelia saw the boy she was apparently supposed to marry and leave with another girl. Her ideas on this were literally crushed within seconds. Camelia was normally so happy and full of smiles. None existed on this one. Perhaps her ideas were just a child's fantasy. As the older sister spoke to her, she shook her head. "No. I just came for the candy. I was hoping my brother would be here." But, her brother would never be here. Her brother hated things like this. Too many people. Camelia saw that there were too many older people. She would never be welcomed. Camelia gave a final smile, and left, while nibbling on a cookie. There was no reason why she should linger much longer. She was going to look for Cristian and tell him that he was right.

Just as Marisol was getting comfortable - used to the feeling of the boy's hand on her waist, used to slow dancing, used to having onlookers and used to getting compliments for the night - she was not expecting what happened next. Her first kiss. It was like it was happening in slow motion, she saw him leaning in and she could've ducked it but she had chosen not to. Instead her head had tilted up slightly and had only registered to press her lips back against his at the last minute. Once it was over Marisol stared up into the eyes behind the mask and was rendered speechless, unsure of what to say. The song was already ending but before it could officially end, the Gryffindor girl stepped back away from him, letting go of his hand and said, "I - I'm sorry I have to go," and turned away from him, running before he could say anything back.

Agrippina watched her brother out of the corner of her eye as she looked at Kerryn. "Well, Camelia and Elysia here are cool, Elysia is my best friend and Camelia will be my sister-in-law." She didn't really like the idea of that, but Camelia was a sweet sort of girl. She didn't mind her and besides, the girl was only eleven, so she would have plenty of time to get to know her. She looked at Kerryn. "Guys, this is Kerryn Howard, she's a good friend of mine." She continued to eat her cookie and her eyes widened slightly as another person joined them. She'd seen him around, but she wasn't aware of his name. She smiled at him. "Hi, I'm Agrippina. These are my friends." She looked back over her brother again to see him plant a kiss on Marisol just as Camelia decided to leave. She was torn. Who did she go to? She wasn't sure why Camelia was leaving, but she was sure her brother would be hurt by the girl he'd just kiss running off. She looked at everyone in her group and stood stunned a moment. This was not the kind of night she was expecting to have at all. "Camelia, I'll come find you in a sec, Elysia, Kerryn, new guy, excuse me." She said as she headed toward Octavian. Her brother needed her.
