Professor Misha Haden led the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage respectively. He told them both the rules as well as the point system before walking off the stage to just watch from a good distance. He was sure this would be a good clean game, but he was ready to step in if he was needed to.

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

Elysia could hardly believe that she had advanced so far. She managed to beat Octavian Vetrov, and now she was going after the one that managed to claw her way into her best friend's twin brother's heart. Elysia heard about the fight, so this would give her enough drive to manage to use her wand efficiently. Without any emotion on her face, Elysia pointed her wand and cast, "Reducto."

First she had won her duel with Teagan and now she had to go up against another Ravenclaw girl. Marisol knew who this girl was. She was Agrippina's best friend. Judging by the look on the girl's face, Pina had filled her in on what happened between the two so Marisol knew to be ready. She quickly blocked the spell sent her way and shouted back, "Stupefy!"

Elysia noticed that the girl might have something to prove. Elysia did not know for sure. This girl was hard to read. For now, she would do her very best. Elysia stepped slightly to the side, to dodge the spell that was thrown at her. Her silvery green eyes narrowed slightly, and the Ravenclaw cast with a monotone voice, the incantation of the Jelly Fingers curse.

The girl was quick, so Marisol had to be quicker. She blocked the spell with a Protego and sent back the Jelly Fingers Curse, hoping to beat the girl. In her eyes all Ravenclaws were the worst so it would give her pleasure to beat her.

Elysia thought, narrowing her eyes slightly, 'She tried to use the same curse as me? Hmm, how unoriginal.' Elysia blocked the curse effortlessly, and thought over the spells swiftly. Then she had it. It wouldn't end the game but it would bring some amusement. Elysia cast a spell she had never used before, the fur growing spell. Her best friend called Marisol a beast, or something of the sort. It'd be pleasant to see one in person.

Marisol was berating herself for having used the same curse as the Ravenclaw because her mind had drawn a blank and she couldn't think of any other curse at the moment. So she was caught off guard when a spell hit her. She expected to feel some sort of pain but initially didn't feel anything. Then she looked down at her wand hand and was startled to see her entire body sprouting fur. "No," Marisol whispered, horrified, and she dropped her wand. For one brief second she thought she had accidentally missed the date and was transforming and she was terrified of what would happen without her Wolfsbane. But her body wasn't bending itself in odd angles and she wasn't in pain, and she remembered it wasn't full moon week. Still, the jarring image of her covered in fur was too much like her transformation and it was enough to throw her off her game. Tears welled in her eyes as she bent to pick up her wand and tried to continue the duel. "St-Stupefy," she sent back weakly, her mind still on the fur she was covered in. She knew there was a spell to stop the curse's effects, she just needed to stop panicking about how she looked right now and remember the incantation.

Elysia smirked slightly as the spell hit, but it fell as soon as she saw Marisol's reaction. She was in tears, and looked as though she was about to undergo metamorphosis. Elysia lowered her wand for a moment, as her mind started to race. Either Marisol had something to hide every month, or she was so incredibly vain, she did not want to have anything affect her appearance. If it was the first, then maybe Elysia would take pity on her. If it was the latter, then Elysia would feel amused. Not sure what to feel, Elysia blocked the spell, poorly cast. Elysia sighed and sent back toward her opponent, "Reducto." If she was knocked unconscious, then Elysia could remove the spell for her.

Marisol remembered the spell to end the fur growing curse right after she'd sent her stunning spell. She was too preoccupied casting Finite on herself to block the oncoming spell that sent her flying back. Marisol's newly fur-free body and head hit the wall and the Gryffindor was knocked unconscious.

Elysia put her wand away, after seeing her spell hit. The girl was no longer covered in fur though. Elysia sighed, wondering what that was all about before realizing that she didn't care. She stepped off of the dueling arena, trusting the professor to deal with the Gryffindor.

Misha followed the fight closely, he had expected it to be quite even and was watching close, until one of the girls finally managed to get the upper hand, "Elysia Styx is the winner," he declared before heading to the other girl to revive her.
