FIRST YEAR

"Hmmm, unfortunately I don't believe you'll be sitting with your brother..Gryffindor could be a good fit for you but I'm not sure it would be the best fit. It's great to have people to look up to but you'll be your best you following your own path in......Hufflepuff"
After years of listening to his brother talk about Hogwarts, René couldn't have been more excited to actually get go there himself. His first year started off with a slight hiccup when René wasn't sorted into the same house as his brother, but he thankfully quickly settled in with his fellow Hufflepuffs, making plenty of friends in his dorm and even managing to join the house Quidditch team as a first year.

SECOND YEAR

With a rather overwhelming but positive first year over, René was looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts as a second year and having some new first years under him. An idea that didn't quite go to plan when he run into first year Gwen Goodwin, immediately feeling smitten with her. Thankfully, René also had a lot of distractions this year, still maintaining his spot on the house quidditch team even after a chat with Tilly convinced him to switch over to play beater officially. Even if he didn't get much time himself on the pitch, René still got to end his year on a high note with a Hufflepuff Quidditch cup win, spending time with his new crush Gwen at the dance, and getting to see Sully off at graduation, even if the idea of school without him next year is a daunting one.

THIRD YEAR

René was almost more anxious for the start of his third year of schooling than he had been for his first now that his brother had graduated and he was all alone. He tried to take it as an opportunity to forge his own way at Hogwarts but it was still a daunting prospect. Things got off to a solid start at least, René managed to spend more time with the object of his new crush, Gwen, so much as scoring a date with her to the Yule Ball, along with keeping his alternate position on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team.
Things got a little dicey however when Sully managed to somehow crash his Yule Date with Gwen even without being at the school and suddenly Gwen didn't seem so interested anymore. Despite a pink rose over Valentine's René was left hurt and confused when Gwen went to the Valentine's dance with another boy, leaving René alone to lick his wounds.

FORTH YEAR

René spent his fourth year fairly relaxed despite all odds. He finally landed a starting spot on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team though they failed to snag the cup this year in time for captain Lucas' Fletcher's graduation, much to his disappointment. René also spent this year committed to getting over his crush on Gwen, letting Louis drag him into a rather awkward if eye opening game of spin the bottle and help set him up with Molly Burke for a Valentine's date, though neither resulted in anything more than some floundering conversation and uncomfortable first kisses in the case of spin the bottle.

FIFTH YEAR

Intent on standing out for his fifth year, Rene managed something he personally thought was more impressive than a prefect's badge like some of his friends, an older girlfriend in the likes of Jenna Irons. An unlikely pair, the relationship was at odds from the get go and it was unsurprising after a lackluster romance over the year, Jenna saw fit to dump Rene on the train ride home, leaving Rene with a rather depressing end to his year especially after Hufflepuff's terrible Quidditch performance to top it off.
