Louis was pretty pleased with his date for the dance tonight. He'd had his eye on Nolan for a while now, as he was definitely one of the most handsome guys in their year. Louis had been a little nervous asking him, as he hadn't been entirely sure Nolan would want to go with a guy. But he had seen Nolan's date to the previous dance was a guy as well, which had emboldened him. Still, he had been very relieved when Nolan said yes. It had been good for René too, as Louis had asked Nolan to bring his sister as a date for him. She wasn't nearly as cute as Nolan, but seemed better suited for René. Even if she wasn't, René was lucky he had anyone to go on a date with. Louis kept an eye out for him as well as his date as he waited near the entrance of the great hall.

René had the sneaking suspicion that asking Louis for help with a date tonight might have done more harm than good but after spending all of last year pining over Gwen who apparently didn't want to look at him twice anymore he figured it was the only way he was going to get over her. Besides, he didn't know anyone else who was as good at landing dates as Louis.

He was still fidgeting with his cuffs as he met up with Louis, giving his friend a queasy smile. "So uh, who else is coming..." He asked, craning his neck to glance around the entrance hall as other couples and students made their way past. He was pretty sure he'd heard Louis was taking Nolan tonight and he just hoped Louis hadn't gone and asked one his roommates because that would just be weird.

Nolan was happy when Louis had asked him to the valentine’s dance with him, and Nolan knew he couldn’t deny the answer. Though he was a little confused when Louis had asked if his sister had a date to the dance, but shrugged it off and brought his sister along with him. He had been running a little late though, wanting to look at least presentable and he knew that his sister was getting impatient with him being too long. The walked towards the great hall, his sister a few meters in front of him and he waved towards Louis and then waved at his roommate Rene when he noticed him too. “Hey,” Nolan says with a small wave and smile.

When Nolan had asked her if she had anyone to go with to the valentine's dance, she immediately had said no but was glad when her brother had brought up bringing her along. She wasn’t gonna refuse on going to the dance alone. Her brother had been taking ages getting ready and was beginning to be annoyed as she felt that they were going to be late. As they walked towards the great hall, she was a few meters ahead of her brother and waved at her brother’s date and her brother’s roommate. “Hello!” Molly says with a giggle and a wave.
