It was the end of the school year, a final goodbye for some, but merely the start of a long, well deserved break for most. Students and staff alike could enjoy some quality time at home without the stress of exams and study looming over their heads. The castle would be uncharacteristically quiet with most of them gone, a reprieve from the antics and rivalries, but there was still work to be done over the course of the holidays for at least some members of the staff, and the house elves employed to ensure Hogwarts remained presentable for the coming year.

As the students filed in, the banners adorning the Great Hall rippled and changed to reflect the signature red and gold colours of Gryffindor house, signifying their outstanding victory for the year. They had taken quite the lead compared to the other houses. Rising from her seat at the staff table, Katherine slowly made her way up to the podium, waiting for everyone to settle into their own seats before speaking. "Welcome one and all to this year's final feast. Before we begin, I'd like to say a few words. First of all, a round of applause for the winners of this year's House Cup - congratulations to Gryffindor!" The woman announced, producing the cup in question seemingly from thin air, to be presented to Professor Kingsley on behalf of her house.

"Of course, we can't forget those students who's dedication and ambition earned the most points for their respective houses. Our top house point earners this year are - in first place, River Hopkins-Vance of Slytherin, with a grand total of one thousand, two hundred and twenty-eight points. In second place, with a total of one thousand, one hundred and ninety-seven points - Ronald Lazarao, of Gryffindor. In third, Minnie Calida of Ravenclaw, with nine hundred and fifty points. Last but not least, we have Estella Fuentes of Hufflepuff, with eight hundred and forty-seven points. Congratulations to our winners." The Headmistress joined in the applause for each of them, commending their efforts and achievements toward their house.

As the applause died down, the woman moved to wrap things up and allow them to commence eating. "A quick reminder, as per the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery, you are not permitted to use magic underage outside of Hogwarts. I do not want to receive any letters from the Ministry of Magic over this end of year break. Now, enjoy this feast and have a safe travel home. Until next year."

Padme loved the end of year feast, and this one being her last had a nice finalty to it. She would have one last feast and that would be it. She would savour every food, every sight and sound, every interaction as this was the last of it. Padme was sat amongst other hufflepuffs as the hush fell upon the hall. She knew that Hufflepuff hadn't won, but she also knew they'd done well to not come in last. She applauded politely for Gryffindor, pleased that that house had managed it. She applauded too for the top points earners, she was a little surprised there was Minnie, the ravenclaw, Padme didn't know how the girl had time to sleep with that many points at NEWT level. However with that the food appeared and Padme was able to just get stuck in, filling her plate and enjoying the last feast.

Daintree couldn't wait for the night to be over. He was so looking forward to going back to his apartment and not having to worry about anything, about being able to just relax. It did help that his NEWTs were over and he could just relax anyway. But this last feast would be a recon of the food he wanted in his home. He sat down amongst the slytherins and looked towards the front of the room. He knew he'd probably miss these meals more than anything else, bar maybe quidditch, there was a good atmosphere to them, a warmth and fun that he thought was cool. You never ate alone at Hogwarts, even if you really wanted to. Daintree rolled his eyes at another gryffindor victory but cheered loudly for the slytherin who'd best everyone else to get the top points spot. He thought that number of points was wild, but hey, they'd beaten everyone else and that counted for something. Not too long after the food appear and as Daintree filled his plate he wondered about how he would cook....could he get an elf to do all for him, because he didn't know how to cook.....that was tomorrow's problem.

Minnie was relieved in a way she hadn't been in years, the school year was over, her NEWTs done, her winter secured, and she would be able to take some time to consider what next. She'd put the grades to good use, of course, but at the very least, the burden of school, of success could be lifted from her shoulders. She didn't have to worry about the Os or the homework, she could relax a little and focus on the....well...she didn't know. What did people do when they didn't have homework, or reading or exams..Minnie's gaze found Eric at the Gryffindor table and then moved to the front of the room. She knew things would be fine and if she needed to ask Eric how to have fun, he'd surely show her. She applauded for the Gryffindors, they'd really out preformed her house, and she was a little surprised to hear her own name amongst top earners, she hadn't been focused on that. But the professor finished and the food appeared and she was just able to begin eating, at this, her final feast.

Ajaccio was looking forward to the holiday, he had passed his apparition exam and this was about to make his life so much simpler. He had the destination he needed to go already the moment he stepped off the train and he would just go. There were vague plans to finally take Nicole to Paris, but he knew they were subject to a few other things and if they didn't do it now, he could take her after their own graduation. The ravenclaw was very excited about the end of the semester. All the hard work was done and he was determined to have fun before he had to come back and do his NEWTs. The teen looked to the headmistress and thought it no surprise at Gryffindor's victory. He knew the top points before they were formally announced so that the yearbook could be printed, but he cheered loudly for all the students, knowing that the gryffindor winner was his brother's boyfriend. The food appeared and as he taken to doing filling it with vegeterian options and knew soon enough he'd sneak off to join Nicole with the slytherins.

Jarica was happy that gryffindor win. But she was more happy that she will be spend some time with Maverick and mayby she got boyfriend. She wanted be loved and Jarica was forgived her dad and she was know that he is the only one and he came her gradution. But right now she wanted join Minestry of magic if that won't work out she will be London actress and live there our just go back her home. She was finished her food and right now take another. She will be missed shcool food and it was always so perfect.

Leia was pretty pleased with how she believed her OWLs went. She knew getting O's for her OWLs would maybe make people believe that she put in more effort, but she was also sure that the fact she worked hard to not make too much of a show of it would help. Too she knew that she'd never highlight herself much beyond her winning at duelling and she believed firmly that winning at duelling was not a sign of someone who worked too hard. The slytherin applauded for the house that won and the people who'd come in top points. She was in some awe at the amount of points won by some, knowing that she'd won a lot of points herself and hadn't come close to the first place for her house. The food appeared and Leia began grabbing things to eat. She would have an easier time next year for sure but she would need to get on top of her NEWTs sooner rather than later.

Lumio had tried his best with his OWLs, but he already knew that he wouldn't be able to continue a bunch of classes that he maybe did enjoy or maybe didn't. but he knew he'd tried and that was all anyone could ask of him. he wasn't a studier, he wasn't much for education, it was why he was always so curious as to why he'd been named prefect. He knew they'd won the house cup and so when the headmistress announced it Lumio cheered loudly, "YAY GRYFFINDOR!" he shouted, very happy for his house. He also cheered loudly for Ronald, giving a loud whoop for his boyfriend, whom he knew worked tirelessly to get all of those points. The teen was very proud of him, and was hopeful they'd be able to spend some time together over the break. He was glad when the food appeared and he was able to get stuck in.

Hattie was a little sad that this would be her last feast at the school. She listened as the professor addressed them all and announced the top house point earners of each house. When Minnie's name was mentioned, Hattie sent her a big grin across the House Table. Her friends had all done so well this year and she was glad to see Minnie in the spotlight again. When the food had appeared and it was time to eat, Hattie made her way over to Minnie to congratulate her properly. "Hey Minnie, good job!" she exclaimed, piling some food onto the plate in front of her. She didn't have much chance to speak to the girl that year and just wanted to catch up a bit before they both left for the real world.

@Minnie Calida

Liusaidh knew she'd achieved all she could've ever hoped for, Professor Styx was retiring. She had never set out for that to be a goal for her, but Liusaidh could admit it was a good one. He was leaving before she was, and Liusaidh knew if she got kicked out in her fifth year, it wouldn't matter because she'd be leaving after Styx. She knew it probably wasn't her doing that caused him to leave, the man had been ancient, but she was going to claim it was to anyone who would listen. Liusaidh booed loudly for the Gryffindor students who won the house cup. but did cheer for the girl in her house who gotten most points, while booing for everyone else. Had the girl not gotten that top spot she would've probably booed for her too. With that though the food appeared and Liusaidh began filling her plate, while turning to the person next to her, "Ah caused Professor Styx tae retire,"

Estella was relieved that it was the end of the year, however it was finally catching up to her that she was halfway through her time at the school. She was becoming one of the older students and was no longer one of the smallest. Next year would be her OWL year, and admittedly it was putting a lot of pressure on the Hufflepuff, especially since she decided to keep taking all of her subjects that she was currently doing. It was going to be a tough year, but Estella just tried to keep a positive mindset that she could do it. When Estella heard her name mentioned for top house point earner of Hufflepuff, she beamed, finding it amusing that the professor said she was last, but not least. "Oh, that's me." she said to no one in particular, flicking her long dark hair behind her shoulder and giggling slightly. She had never been called out like that before and perhaps she was doing much better in her studies than she thought. Soon enough, the food appeared on the table, and Estella quickly dug in to satisfy her grumbling stomach.

Lucie liked the fact that her third year was pretty much over. She had bad times, but also good, and she just wanted to forget about most of them and start fresh. The girl sat at the Slytherin House Table, listening as the Headmistress addressed them all. It was the usual speech, however the professor announced the retirement of their Head of House, and Lucie couldn't help but frown a little at this. Who was going to be their Head of House now? She hoped it was someone good and that Hogwarts wouldn't let her down. As everyone around her started to eat, Lucie began piling some food onto her plate until she was spoken to by the older student next to her. She mentioned Professor Styx retiring, and Lucie just shrugged. "Yeah he's pretty old, I must admit. I wonder who is going to be our Head of House next?" she replied, looking up a little nervously at the staff table.

Samantha really couldn't believe that this was going to be her last feast at Hogwarts. She was a little sad to leave the place and made many memories here. Sam was proud of what she had accomplished in the past seven years here at Hogwarts. She was also proud of her friends and their accomplishments too. She clapped and cheered for Gryffindor's win, though she was a little disappointed that Hufflepuff hadn't won for her last year, she didn't mind, she was happy for Gryffindor. She then politely clapped for the top points winners. It wasn't long till the food appeared and they could finally eat. Sam dumped as much food as she could onto her plate, as this may be the last time in a while til she'll get amazing food like this.

The end of the year had seemed to sneak up on Augustus. He couldn't believe it was already over. It had been a nice year, especially the last bit with Addison. Being with someone was entirely new to Augustus, which brought a lot of uncertainty, but Addison knew a lot and was very patient with him, which he appreciated. He smiled at her at the Hufflepuff table before listening to the speech. As always, he was glad he hadn't done well enough to be mentioned. Once the food arrived Augustus started eating, still trying to catch glimpses of Addison at the Hufflepuff table.

Molly was super duper excited for the holidays. She couldn't wait to see her parents and siblings. But she was a little sad that she might not be able to see her Hogwarts friends for a while until she came back to school for her second year. The Hufflepuff had enjoyed her first year of Hogwarts, even though her brother had been no help whatsoever. Molly quietly grumbled when it had been announced that her house didn't win the house cup this year. She had also found the announcements of the top point winners to be a bit boring. She was happy when the food had finally arrived, and quickly took some food before anyone else could.

Ivy was feeling restless and unhappy, a feeling she'd been having for a few months now. She really felt bad for how she had messed things up with Flynn, and she wouldn't have a chance to talk to him for ages. But what would she say? She had been struggling with that ever since their conversation. Ivy felt even more glum as she hears Ronald had gotten most points again. It wasn't like she had expected it, she hasn't even gotten straight O's this year. Which meant she would likely get the silent treatment from her dad again once she was home. Ivy slumped in her seat, picking at the food as it arrived. She didn't want to go home.

Nolan had been quite surprised with how fast the year had gone by, and it was only his second year of Hogwarts. He had mixed feelings for the upcoming holidays. He was excited for the holidays as he could do more work with his music, but a little nervous as he knew his mother would be nagging him non-stop about his love for music. He clapped politely when they had announced that Gryffindor had won the house cup this year, but was a little sad that Hufflepuff hadn't won the house clap, but was glad that they weren't dead last either. Nolan's mind went somewhere else when they had spoken about the top house points, not really caring about who came what place, as he knew he wasn't on the list himself. He smiled gleefully when the food appeared on the table and quickly grabbed a piece of chicken in front of him, but also noticed someone else was trying to grab the same piece and blushed a little from embarrassment. "Sorry," Nolan says sheepishly

The end of year feast had arrived, which meant that Issac's sixth year would be over and his last year of Hogwarts wasn't that far away. He was surprised with how far he had made it to Hogwarts. He was unsure of what he wanted to do with his holidays or even what to do with his future. But he guessed that he had a whole year to figure out what he wanted to do with his future. It was also going to be weird that his sister wasn't going to be joining him next year. When that had announced who had won the house cup, Issac cheered and clapped excitedly and loudly. They had done it again and he couldn't be prouder. He also clapped for the top point people, though he wasn't really surprised that he wasn't named as he didn't really care about his own school work. The food appeared on the table and Issac quickly grabbed some food, dumping as much food onto his plate as possible, creating a food tower on his plate.

René drummed his fingers on the tabletop as he took his seat for the end of year feast. He was starting to feel like he might actually have a handle on this whole magic thing now, which was probably for the best considering he wouldn't have Sully to get help from next year. Speaking of which, René couldn't help but crane his neck as Professor Alicastell announced that Gryffindor had taken the house cup again and he heard a swell of noise from the Gryffindor table. René would have liked for Hufflepuff to win, but he supposed at least they'd managed to take the Quidditch cup this year, it was enough.

Once all the other announcements were made, René wasted no time moving to pile up his plate, he was starving after a long day packing and finishing up the semester, so he barely even noticed when his hand collided with Nolan's. "Oh, my bad. At my house if you don't move fast you don't get seconds, aye," he said sheepishly, hesitating before putting the chicken leg on his plate. It wasn't like there wasn't plenty for Nolan too. "Kinda looks like you have the same problem with your sister though," he said with a slow grin, nodding his head at where Molly was sitting, piling up her own plate. @Nolan Burke

Iris had mixed feelings about today. She enjoyed the feast and even looked forward forward the train ride home, and of course she looked forward to seeing her parents and older siblings over break, but she also knew she would miss Hogwarts. She would especially miss seeing her girlfriend every day. Iris had decided to write her a lot, she also hoped they could meet up a few times. She was sure it would be fine. But what was weird to think about was that she would start her final year soon. She didn't feel close to ready to graduate.

Salem was always excited for the holidays; she got to see her parents again, she got to go to different places, she didn't have to do homework anymore. All good things. She did her best to sit still as Professor Alicastell gave the end of year speech, helped along by the fact that Gryffindor had taken the house cup again. She joined in in cheering with her housemates, grinning at the students sitting around her, glancing twice to see if she could spot Aubrey in the celebration. Things calmed down some once the food appeared though and Salem tucked in, still pausing to check and steal a few glances at Aubrey when she could between bites.

Natalia didn't mind eating by herself, but during the feast the hall was so crowded it was impossible to ignore everyone. She could hear Liusaidh and Lucie and couldn't help herself. "No, she means he's retiring because of her." She told Lucie with a frown. Then she turned to Liusaidh. "I don't believe that's true, and if it was its nothing to brag about." She told her with a frown. It was the first time she said anything like that to Liusaidh, but she was getting tired of her bragging about the trouble she got in.

It had been that time of year again of the end of year feast. Valencia was almost halfway through her schooling, and she was surprised that she was still here. Even though she didn't really care about the house cup and points, she wasn't going to admit that she was a little disappointed that Ravenclaw had come last. Ravenclaw hadn't won the house cup during her time at Hogwarts. She clapped when they had announced the top winners, even though she had no care in the world about it. It wasn't long before the food appeared onto the table and she waited till the people around her had gotten their lot of food before grabbing some food for herself, not minding if she didn't have as much food as her housemates around her did.

The year had flown by for Terrell and next year he would be returning to do his OWLs which made him nervous because his grades needed ALOT of improvement. On the flip side, Gryffindor had won the house cup. Terrell stood up and roared a cheer to celebrate. "Go Gryffindor!" He cheered, enjoying the win with his housemates. After that he tucked into some of the delicious food. He was going to miss the feasts while at home.

Flynn was more than ready to head home and not think about school for a couple of months. Even more so that when he came back he would be in his fifth year and have to worry about OWLs. He didn't really bother to pay attention to the news about the house cup, even if Gryffindor had managed to win it again. Not like he cared about house points. And again it was absolutely no surprise that it was Ronald who was the top points earner. Flynn was most certainly not going to be clapping for him. Instead, he was more focused on the food, eagerly piling things onto his plate as soon as it arrived.
