🐺 Birthday Werewolf! 🐺

While I agree removing inactive players is a potential choice since they're not of any use to the village, I don't think it's the move this early or on the first vote... I'm also note sure Jamie's reasoning for picking Kadi feels strong either... We all seem to agree that it's likely at least one wolf is a confidant player but Jamie's weak reasoning and refusal to go with RNG makes me uneasy, especially her bringing up immediately that she's a new player feels like a potential flag. For that reason for now I'm going to vote for June Davenport.

(If my counting is correct that puts the vote at:

Mary Lou Layton x2
Poppy Perkins x1
June Davenport x1)

I feel like Jamie is even more innocent to me, because if she were a wolf, why would she make fast accusations and draw herself under the spotlight? Also she's probably the most inexperienced, and we already mentioned whoever took Rowan out is probably someone who knew he would be analytical.

Additionally, yesterday when Jamie and I mentioned lynching off the quietest people, Daphne did too but I did spot that Kris didn't put Daphne in the same group as Jamie and I. Kris also now suggests going for the quiet & inactive people isn't a good move on the first round, in which case why was this something to be disagreed with before? It's already not quite adding up to me but we have a few hours left before I do any voting.

I am at work now and might not get a chance to post again. While going for inactive people might not be the most efficient I don’t think there’s much harm so for now I’m voting for Mary Lou Layton

I generally agree with it but in this specific circumstance where it seems very likely we'll not get much use out of voting out Teigs I'm not in full support of taking out quiet people yet. I also like to try to force a tie on the first round of voting as it can bring more info and potentially increase our chances of a lucky wolf hit and I don't think Jamie's reasoning is clear enough to vote for Kadi for said potential tie.

I do think that Jamie's focus on Kadi is interesting since Kadi hasn't done anything particularly suspicious to me (except for maybe voting for Teigs just now despite acknowledging that it's not very efficient). Because of that, I'm less inclined to find Jamie suspicious though playing up the inexperienced thing does raise eyebrows since I know wolves have done that in the past. (We also can't discount the possibility that she's an inexperienced wolf working with an experienced one).

At this point, I think I'm most suspicious of Camilla for making a point of not voting? I feel like a wolf would try to avoid voting so that if they die, there's not much of a paper trail to analyze.

Assuming Teig isn't the Alpha wolf, it would be very easy for them to post once or twice to stay active and then drift under the radar <_<

Those who have posted twice or less:
Elvera (Also the first person to vote for ML)
Analei
James
Mary Lou

(I think)

Now these are people I find potentially much more dangerous re: inactive players

okay I am off to bed now and it will be the night before I awaken.
Reading through the discussion. I agree. that maybe statistically, it makes little sense to vote for someone who hasn't logged in as, due to the clarification after I made my vote, they are not going to be the alpha. My thoughts were more along the lines of I would rather not kill someone day 1 who is really keen to play. So I guess I am voting from a gameplay perspective rather than a statistical perspective.

I unfortunately don't have much more to add to the discussion. and I should have gone to sleep an hour ago. and I don't know if I should change my vote to someone else so we have more of a chance of getting a wolf. either way is probably going to look suspicious down the line, the first person to start throwing gauntlets will always look suspicious. I think I will stay as I am. Good night. :sleepy:

for clarification, does the village need to wipe out just the wolves or the wolves and the hypnotist to win?
The wording in some posts is ambiguous.

Guys we know on which accounts I'm posting right? I'm feeling June vibes. Still in the IC mode I guess with setting yourself in the spotlight Also I'm dutch and direct.xD

I understand it's hard for others to understand when mostly is based on my gut feelings (which actually are usually right in reallife) xD But I'm not following the rest in RNG. I don't feel like that is something to questionmark people on that its suspicious. People who follow along are the ones we have to look at If you ask me. But as I said can't say for 100% what I think is true.

I feel like it's random that people are not using RNG when they mentioned it and bring it up. The chances are also high that it ends with someone who is quiet. I do agree that I would not vote against Teigs, and my eyes are more on active people. I feel like RNG is a lost vote, and would wish to see people go with their first thoughts/feelings.

But so far nobody has used RNG If I am correct? So if you say like we have this, well go for it and stay with that plan. But I'm curious what the rest does.

Throwing up Mary Lou as first person why her is also interesting to me. There are more less active players, so why her?

I'm inclined to agree... It's be pretty easy for a wolf to hide in the Mary Lou votes.

I think people were pointing to Mary Lou because she's the only person who hasn't posted at all. Analei and James have both posted once, so we know they're at least active. (Although I do agree with Pheeb/Kris that the less-active-but-still-active people could potentially be dangerous).

I think I'm going to vote for Poppy Perkins for now since I think closer votes would be more helpful in terms of giving us information to analyze later. I might change my vote near the end of the day phase if there are active people who still haven't voted since that usually jumps out as a red flag to me.

Agreed.

Will post a longer thing when I'm home and also vote

I've been at work all day which is why I haven't posted today but I don't think I'll be voting for anyone in the first round because I don't feel I have enough to make a choice.

Mary Lou Layton x3
Poppy Perkins x2
June Davenport x1

Part of me wants to vote to even it out, but I also have no reason to suspect Kadi either and I don't want her to get lynched if she's a villager

Also I understand Mia's reasoning for voting for Teig in that at least it's not a vote for someone active, but I don't feel like that's a very strong argument especially when we've already established Teig can't be the Alpha. Mia honestly is one of the most sus in my eyes - Only a few posts, first to vote, and the clarification she asked for seems a little sus given our starting PM's :r Seems to be quite a bit of deflection to me

Ope. Well some how I got two votes. Not sure how to defend myself in a way that won’t make me sound desperate or a target for wolves haha.

I’m also phone posting from work. But idk don’t kill me please haha

Alright finally got home.

So while I understand voting for Teigs, I don't think it's the right call today. Normally my strategy is: look at the most inactive people and pick randomly from those. But with Teigs not even being around + the way the Alpha wolf works in this game, it just seems kind of silly to vote for her when she's the one person we KNOW can't be the alpha.

I think Jamie's being a bit rash with pointing fingers, but I don't necessarily think she's suspicious just yet. I'm honestly not very suspicious of anyone yet, but I think I'll vote for James Cade, as I do tend to pick someone more inactive if I can. It's not really based on anything else yet, but not voting I feel is always a wrong choice. (That said, Dan not voting at all does feel weird to me. Again, something about wolves not wanting to leave a paper trail...)

I'll be back to post all the roles and people in a table if I can, and maybe a who voted for who table. I like tables.

First day is always the roughest. I don't want to vote out someone who we know for certain isn't the alpha wolf...
If there is a tie, will someone be lynched through a random draw, or will no one be lynched?

Welp, shows me for not reading xD
So, either I vote for Kadi to tie to chance it and possibly lose an experienced player or let it go and let Teigs get lynched. I was hoping with a tie, no one dies.

There's still a bit of time and plenty of people haven't voted yet, I say vote with your gut for now. I think there will be a few last minute votes anyway that might change things up.
