Archer Cade (Deceased) Professional Quidditch Player Archer is James's father and for much of his life was his idol until he broke the family apart by cheating on his wife. James maintains a strained relationship with his father following his parent's separation. Like James, Archer is a big Quidditch fan and was a major reason for his sons love of the game.	Veronica Cade (Deceased) MACUSA Employee Veronica provided a muggle influence in James's otherwise magical upbringing. Through his mother, James came to appreciate muggle cinema and sports. James took his fathers affair as a personal betrayal and remained with his mother when his parents split.
Ezra Cade Borgin and Burke's Owner, Durmstrang Graduate Ezra was the bain of James's existence throughout his young life and this only got worse when he transferred to HNZ. While he didn't attend the school for long before returning to Durmstrang for his final year, he spent his time making his brother miserable.	Jessica Cade Leaky Cauldron Owner, HNZ Gryffindor Graduate Jessica is James's younger sister and their relationship differs greatly between him and Ezra. Like her two siblings, she is a fan of Quidditch which bonded her and James. They are similar in temperament and in their views on blood status. James is very protective over his little sister and dreads watching her grow up at HNZ.

Extended Family​

Anthony Cade Anthony is James's eldest paternal uncle. He is in an arranged marriage to Clemence Cade.
Edward Cade Edward is the youngest of James's fathers brothers. He is married to Erica Cade and they have one child together, Jackson Cade.	Erica Cade Erica is Edward's wife and Jackson's mother. She is James's aunt by marriage. She dated Edward during their time at Hogwarts Scotland and reconnected after running into each other during night of drinking.
Jackson Cade Second Year, Ravenclaw, Hogwarts New Zealand Jackson is James's cousin though the pair didn't know about each other until Jackson began attending HNZ.	Eleonora Cade First Year, Hufflepuff, Hogwarts New Zealand Eleonora is James's cousin from a secret branch of his family branched from one his grandfathers secret children.
