With tricks and treats and fun to be had, the townsfolk took to their usual trick-or-treating routes, unaware of the evil that lurked among them. With the light of the full moon illuminating the dark streets, what was there to fear?

Alas, they found out too late. Although Adorah Zumwalt had been taken from their midst, the villagers knew her GHOST would watch over them, as they began the painful search for her killer.

RIP to Kiersten.. but at least we can safely say she was not either the Silversmith or the Hunter.

Well, unless Kiersten was a wolf playing the very long con, maybe we can ask her to try and reveal her role? V for villager, S for Seer, B for bodyguard, M for Mayor, P for Spellcaster?

(am also open for arguments against revealing it but I feel anything helps atm to narrow stuff down since by my count we have 3 wolves, 9 villagers, and 7 special roles.)
 
I agree that Kiersten revealing her role would probably help. Also, I think there are four wolves (including the dire wolf)?

I know that last game, Jesse getting killed the first night led to theories that there was at least one experienced wolf.

Does Kiersten's death suggest anything about who might want to target her?
 
Ah, you're right Ana; I didn't count the initial 1 werewolf we started with. So 4 wolves, 7 special roles, 8 villagers.

And Kiersten says she's a Villager, which I honestly have no reason to dispute. I can't* see the wolves intentionally killing one their own for a ghost role and there's no human roles that are on the wolves' side right?

This confuses me because you first say you have no reason to dispute it and then you give a reason to dispute it, unless you meant can't?

No real thoughts yet. I'll wait to see who else joins the conversation and who doesn't.

I don't know if we'll be able to gain anything from Kiersten's death yet. I feel like anyone who is a wolf this game wouldn't use the same tactic that the wolves did last game since it became such a huge point of conversation.

Right so reading over the roles it is possible Kiersten was a Wolf who targeted the Silversmith (rather than the wolves picking off one of their own which is a wild play night 1), but the chances of that seem so low on the first night that I would believe she's a villager

And thats about it at this stage. Kierstens death hasn't really told us too much, but I'm not sure that there's many deaths that would on literally the first day
 
Would we have known if the death was by the Silversmith?
 
No identifying details about the ghost's original role or method of death will be given until the game is over.

Good catch, so we should remember that even though she is most likely a villager.
 
Has there been a previous game where the wolves have chosen to target one of their own on the first night?
 
I don't think its ever happened, I don't even know if it can happen
 
I think the wolves offing one of their own is very unlikely, the ghost role isn't that powerful (i think)

But I had missed the silversmith possibility, which is a bit more likely I feel.

Missed it, or didn't want to draw attention to it, wolf? :glare:

No I'm kidding. The Ghost role is one I've played a fair bit and it is useful, circumstantially, but not necessarily powerful. I could verify someone as a ghost in a past game when doubt was cast because I'd conveniently seen them while I was (briefly) a Seer before I died, and thats about the biggest use I've seen from it. A Wolf Ghost would benefit more from claiming to be a Special role like Seer, rather than Villager
