Birthday Werewolf

Claire has a point, I still think Kathy is suspicious (last game I think she tied votes too and was on the side of the wolves) but considering Claire's logic and in order to help break the tie I'm changing my vote to Cyndi.

I've not yet decided on who to vote for, but I have a few thoughts.

The people who write the longest posts are almost always the wolves who fear getting lynched. Those who are innocent and being lynched don't usually write at such extreme length, because there isn't as much to say - the villagers have the least game-sense (excuse the gaming term :p ) compared with the wolves. Can we read into this that Kathy is a wolf? I'm not sure - she's certainly suspicious for me, but is that good enough evidence? If this were any other game I'd tie the votes and take it to random numbers in the chance we remove a wolf without really knowing much.

There seems to be a fair amount of bandwagoning going on here - I don't recall exactly who voted for who, but scrolling one post up shows that Pat comes along from nowhere and votes straight for Anna. Again, I'm not sure whether that's wolf bandwagoning or not, but it might be something to consider.

So Mr Long Post = Werewolf writes a long post...not strange at all :tut:

And nah, I ain't no werewolf, just reading everyones posts and making my own judgements, I don't see why you target me when Kaitlyn says she has no suspecions and then all of a sudden votes for Kathy :erm:

Okay I'm on my work break ATM and again, will check back in later (I keep sneaking a look at my phone when my boss isn't around ? To be honest, I feel more and more suspicious of Kathy; I didn't question her motives at all or try to defend Annaleise, I was simply confused by her logic and am not finding her new reasoning any more sound. I think she's coming up with some really convoluted and circumstantial ideas, so for these reasons, I vote to lunch Aurora Night

Because I was interested, I did a quick word count. Mine comes to about 170 words, Kathy's to 570. Yes I'm sad aren't I? :p

I only gave you as the example because you were (at the time of writing) only one post up from me. I'm not going to take my comment back because everyone is suspicious in this game. I do agree that Kaitlyn is definitely on my watch list though.

For the moment though, I'm in agreement with Zach. No lynch seems like a better option than a risky lynch. I'm voting Aurora Night.

Can Cyndi just always communicate through gifs now. Please?

=))

I have written huge long essays in games of werewolf before as a villager!!

Buut as much as I don't want to jump on the offensive, I don't want to jump to anyone's defence either, in case they're a wolf. And the more I think about it, the less suspicious I am of Anna

Grrr

Okay, so the votes stand like this now, I think;

Samuel Phillips: 4
Aurora Night: 5
Professor Cyndi Kingsley: 2

I think that's right, but somebody double check maybe?

I'm home from work now and I've been able to read through all of the posts. What Claire was saying about saving Sally makes a lot of sense to me, but I still feel like she's being really defensive, and if the wolves wanted to remain more anonymous, then tying up the vote would be clever in that it gives them more people to hide among while they pick us off. I don't want to change my vote, because I don't think another tie is helpful to us at this stage.
Clarifying, because I realise that last bit made no sense, I'm saying Kathy is being defensive, not Claire x_x

The day will be ending in an hour and a half! The current tallies are:

Aurora Night - 5
Samuel Phillips - 4
Professor Cyndi Kingsley - 2

(Before I go, I'll just say that I've grown less suspicious of Cyndi over this day phase, but I am wondering about Zach now - I noted that he voted for Sally on Day 1, but didn't think much more on it until he tried to tie the vote today by voting for me...)

With more and more lives being lost every night, the village could no longer sit idle as friends and loved ones were lost to the wolves. As tempers flared, a decision had to be made. Amongst the throng, one voice rang loudest, Aurora Night pleading with the crowd to hear her theories. She spoke urgently, desperate to get her words across, but unfortunately, the outcome was not as she hoped.

"SHE'S A WOLF!" The crowd cried, and Rory's arguments and struggles were in vain as she was marched to the gallows.

It was only when it was too late that the crowd realised what they had done. Another Villager lost, by their own hands this time. Tempers subsiding in the aftermath of their terrible deed, the townsfolk had nothing to do but return to their homes, no closer to safety than before.

IT IS NOW NIGHT.

Night roles have 24 hours to PM me with their actions.

Spirits had never been lower and fears had never been higher in the once-cheerful village. Having lost far too many of their own, doors were locked and windows bolted long before the wolves took to the streets under the light of the moon. Creeping through the town, they had to resort to breaking a window to chase their prey.

Unfortunately for Charlotte Owens, the sound of glass shattering woke her up much too late.

The rest of the townsfolk awoke early the next morning with dread in their hearts, terrified to discover who they had lost this night. It wasn't long before they realised the face that was missing, Charlotte, a well known and much beloved Villager lost to the wolves. Grim resolve in their eyes, the townsfolk knew what they had to do. The wolves had to be stopped.

IT IS NOW DAY.

You have 24 hours to decide who, if anyone, to lynch.

I voted for her yesterday and will vote for her today as well unless someone else has other suspicions that convince me.

I vote to lynch Samuel Phillips (Anna).

I'm actually really surprised that Kathy turned out to be a villager. After reading over her posts before being lynched I felt really sure that she was a wolf.

But one thing I also noticed while reading back (and Cyndi noticed at the time) was that Kaitlyn suddenly chimed in to vote, after saying she wasn't really suspicious of anyone. That kind of makes me suspicious of her, and gives the vibe that she might be trying to agree with others in an attempt to fly under the radar. Or maybe she was trying to lynch off someone that she knew was innocent, but wanted to wait until an argument or 'evidence' was given first, to make her decision to vote someone off less suspicious?

I'm not sure what her motive is, but for now my vote goes to Kaitlyn.

I'm still very suspicious of the people that are inactive in this game, and/or haven't posted since the beginning, because we've lost a lot of villagers and the wolves could be intentionally not posting for the sake of making everyone argue amongst themselves, therefore making us lose more villagers and roles that could be used against them.

I tend to be busy with work and all, so I tend to forget to read back when I should. I didn't expect it to be that busy.

Though vote for me to be lunched. Just offing another villager.

So, Claire posting a gif reminds me of a point I wanted to make yesterday, especially after Kathy's final post and this: We really have no proof that Zach wasn't just lying extra low on the day he was 'silenced.' Anyone can say they were silenced, especially if they don't participate. Why didn't he that day?

Roles[ol]
[li]Professor Justin Cliffeton</LI>
[li]Geo Volt
[li]Teagan Maxwell
[li]Professor Monty Pendleton

I took this from your post Claire and updated it. Hope that's OK. :)

Damn I compliment your gif usage and this is the thanks I get

Okay, I'm at a family event and will check in later but I'm currently leaning toward Kathys last post, and will elaborate later when I haven't got my mother and her three sisters fussing over me ?

I've escaped the aunts clutches o_O Okay, to be honest, I don't feel particularly suspicious of Kaitlyn at the moment, I feel like she hasn't been so inactive that I'd suspect her, but neither has she been incredibly forward with suggestions. I get what Anna is saying, but I feel like people often end up voting to lynch someone when they haven't many suspicions early on in the game, because we need to try something at the very least. That said, I think Cyndi's point about Zach being especially quiet and saying he was silenced makes a lot of sense. That plus the fact that Kathy said in her last post that she was supicious of him, makes me think he may be a possibility. Everyone else who was silenced, has been quite vocal (in a way) on the day that they were silenced, but Zach wasn't. I'm interested to hear a reason why before I vote but that's sort of where I'm at now.
