Y36 Club Fair

Nell smiled at the girl's question. "We have a list of articles that need to be written each issue, and people choose what they want from that, first come first served. If you have ideas for something new that isn't on the list though, you can always talk to me about it!" She added cheerfully, thinking of the poll she had inherited from the girl who first thought of it.

Sydney heard @Analei Louw and the Student Defense Association seemed really fun, she would learn new spells, she would also duel in the following years and she would be involved in school activities "Sounds good to me" she said as she signed her name in the paper
 
There were so many things happening in the Courtyard, and Nola had no idea where to start. Wild Patch Club...well she loved flowers but generally killed most plants she touched without even trying. SDA... definitely not. There was a Brotherhood club, which she figured was a bit rude until she saw the Sisterhood Club - Heta Omega! It even sounded fancy, like an American sorority. They had chocolate and bracelets, and it seemed amazing. "Ummmm, hi! Is there room for one more?" She asked, hoping she wasn't too late.

"Oh, that does sound exciting! Can I sign up?" She asked, wondering if this would be a way to learn some amazing spells she could use. it would be such fun to be able to shoot people with a spell, maybe she wouldn't want to hurt them of course, but it would still be fun to have them be in her line of fire and to actually be able to do it. "I'm so excited!"​

Walking around the Club Fair, Seb got a genius idea. Surely @Nikola Raven wouldn't mind a teeny weeny little prank, right?
Seb grinned as he walked up to the SDA club, signing Nikola Raven to the list, thanking the girls that were running the stall, and talking a licorice wand as he moved on to the Wild Patch Club. He smiled at @William Kaimarama and @Elliot Briar as he went to sign the sign up list, signing Nikola Raven's name again. After a couple of seconds of deliberation, he signed his name there as well, thinking it would be awesome to grow plants and make flower crowns. He thanked the boys, taking a flower crown and popping it on his head before moving over to the Brotherhood. This seemed like an actual cool club, so he put his own name down, before signing Nikola Raven next to it, thanking @Abian Hunter and pocketing some candy for later. The other two tables, he wasn't too sure about, so he walked up to @Nell Wright and asked, "So, is this something anyone can join?"

While waiting for the girl to decide whether to sign up or not, Nell smiled as another boy approached. "Totally!" She said cheerfully, gesturing to the papers on the table. "We're the school paper, feel free to look at a back issue if you'd like. All you have to be sure of is that you're keen to write articles about what's going on at Hogwarts!"

Sofia looked around one more time. There were so many different possibilities!
The Courtyard was full of students and as she was walking by one of the stalls, she heard an older boy explaining what the club was about.
She loved nature so The Wild Patch Club seemed just perfect for her.
The girl waited for the other students to sign up and then slowly approached @Elliot Briar "Hi! I would like to sign up, please." She said with a friendly smile.
 
Elliot was grateful when William arrived, glad he could help answer some of the questions, even if his tone was a little on the harsh side. It was a bit of a relief that they were busy right now so Elliot didn't have to worry about making small talk with William yet. He wasn't sure if he just wasn't used to William's brand of humor or not, but he was grateful to have help running the Wild Patch either way. He just hoped things weren't too awkward with the two of them for too long. He saw another younger Hufflepuff put their name down and take a flower crown before a girl stepped up to ask to sign up as well. "Alright sure thing," He told her warmly, motioning to the sign up list. "Just put your name down here and you're all set. You can take a flower crown too if you'd like." @Sofia White
 
Mary Lou was very excited and after signing up for the sisterhood with @Emilia Manning that she turned and nearly crashed into someone as she moved out of the way of everyone else. She found herself in front of a stall that seemed to be about writing and since Mary Lou wanted to join everything, she immediately wanted to sign up. "Do you want a cookie?" She asked @Nell Wright "Could I join this please?" The most clubs she was in, the more friends she would make surely.​
 
Nikola only went to the Y36 Club Fair because he heard that there was a magazine at the school, and a gardening club. He regretted it almost immediately when he saw how many students were there, however, and he became suspicious when he approached the Wild Patch Club and found his name already there. It was buried among others, but there was one name, written in suspiciously similar handwriting, located suspiciously close to his name, and he recognised it. @Sebastian Grimm. His Hufflepuff friend was steadily becoming more of a Hufflepuff nuisance, though for some reason, Nikola couldn't help but like him. The boy's pleasantness was infectious. That didn't stop the Ravenclaw from running through the crowd when he saw Sebastian near the Hogwarts Monthly stand and caught the tailed of @Nell Wright's explanation. "Sounds great - where do we sign?" he asked, looking very hopeful and linking arms with Seb. After this, there were going to be stern words, and he was going to find out where else the Hufflepuff had signed his name.​

Olivia had definitely made up her mind. She was at least going to try for the newspaper so all she said to @Nell Wright after signing up her name on the sheet was "See you at meeting then"
 
Despite it being busy, things seemed to be going pretty smoothly. A couple of young girls approached, and Emilia handed them the signup form. "Here you go." She said with a smile. One of the other young girls asked if one could join two clubs. "You can join as many as you want." She told her. "it's definitely allowed." Another girl joined, one who seemed to be the twin of one of the other girls. "Of course." Emilia told her with a nod. "Just sign your name there." She then said the same thing to the next young girl that showed up. She was starting to feel a bit like a broken record, but was very happy with the turnout.

Nola squealed with happiness when she heard that she could sign up. There were so many names on the list already - so many people she could be friends with!! This was definitely the best club in the world. She didn't even have to do initiation or rush the sorority, she was just allowed in! Nola wanted to hug the older student but stopped herself, instead writing her name with a heart next to it.
 
Nell smiled brightly as another girl approached, a little surprised at the offer. "Oh thank you, but no thanks." Nell smiled. She was already having to talk so much, and she didn't want to imagine what this would be like with a full mouth. "Go ahead!" She said brightly, offering the girl as well as the new boy who had appeared sign up sheets. She smiled at the first girl who had approached her, pleased to have the club's first official new member. "See you then!" She said cheerfully, feeling a little better equipped to handle this new task.

Abian nodded at the young boy. "Yeah, I'll hold a meeting soon." He told him. Another boy signed up and pocketed some candy, and Abian waved as he headed off to the next table.

Eretria wasn't sure what any of this was about, but she'd followed some of her house down from the common room. Her reading and comprehension in English wasn't very good, as she understood speech better than written words, but she was trying. She looked around and walked up to the first person she saw, tilting her head at him. She saw the flower crowns and she really wanted one and so she picked one up, smiling. @Elliot Briar ​
 
Elliot looked up when he spotted another young Hufflepuff looking over the table and taking a flower crown. He smiled at her, nodding encouragingly as he could. "Hey, are you interested in the Wild Patch?" He asked her. "If not that's fine you can still have the crown," He added quickly just in case she was just looking. It wasn't like they didn't have plenty to go around. @Eretria Shannara
 
Sebastian grinned when the girl said that anyone could join, and he was so close to grabbing the pen and writing down just Nikola's when his arms were linked with, and he heard an all too familiar voice. Wincing, Seb looked and saw Nikola was the one to link with him, and he gave him his most innocent grin that he could ever muster, as the girl offered them the sign up sheet. He offered it to @Nikola Raven to see if he actually wanted to join. Seb hadn't planned on joining, but he was currently linked to Nikola's arm, and it was very difficult to escape.
 
Kengi Smile was absolutely not forcing his sister to attend the club fair....okay, he was! But, it was only for the young Ravenclaw's benefit. With Rita's hand in his, Kengi lead her onto the courtyard. "Rita, please stop. This is good for you!" he said as she struggled to get her hand out of his strong grip. Kengi sighed and looked down at his sister. "I'm serious, Rita. If you make this fun, it will be." he scolded her gently. The seventh year looked around to see if there was anyone he could push Rita to. His eyes fell on the boy who had helped her find her wand. "Look, there is the kid who helped you find your wand. You should say hi." Kengi suggested, but his tone was slightly demanding.
 
Eretria placed the crown happily on her head, watching others. The boy said something, the gist of which she thought she understood. "Join club!" She said, grinning. I looked like it was about plants and that was good enough for her!​
 
Rita Smile half-heartedly tried to pull herself from her brother, hoping to retreat to the dungeon where he had found her. It may be a dark place to try and read, but at least it was quiet. Rita even found her house common room to be loud, and Kengi had yet to show her somewhere useful, like the library. As soon as her brother freed her hand, Rita promptly folder her arms over her chest as she glared at her brother, whose six feet and eight inches towered greatly over her four feet and five. "I-" Rita started, but she was not able to get a word out because Kengi pointed to someone. Even though she recognized @Elliot Briar , her frustration did not subside. I don't want to be here! She wanted to scream. Kengi was being crazy and overbearing. Instead of yelling at her brother, like she wanted to, she simply turned around and stormed out of the courtyard with no particular place in mind.
 
Lois was late to the club fair thought that was only because she had tried and failed to get Lucy to join her. It bugged her sometimes how much her older sister enjoyed being alone with her toys. Lois was honestly about to stay with her but she had insisted that she go and not waste a chance to do something for herself. Reluctantly Lois had agreed and while she did noticed her other sister Lenora was also on her way to the fair, she made it a point to stay away from her and not even acknowledge her existence. "Great knowing my luck we'll end up in the same clubs" Lois mumbled to herself.

There were only a couple she had heard about that was actually interested in joining. She decided to walk over to the Wild Patch Club since she enjoyed getting her hands dirty even if she wasn't particularly good at growing things. Looking at the older student @Elliot Briar just as he'd finished talking to a few other students about what the club did. "I'd like to join too" Lois said quickly before another group popped up. She couldn't believe how crowded it was.
 
Lenora had been excited ever since she had heard about the club fair and made her way down to the Courtyard with a few other girls though she had really just been following them. She had spent much of the last few days trying to get her pets situated and didn't make as many new friends as she thought she would. A part of her was glad since she felt a bit intimidated at being surrounded by others. She looked at one of the clubs and found out it was called Heta-Omega and figured it looked interesting. "Um... can I join?" Lenora asked @Emilia Manning in a low voice. She wished she would have brought Lily her fairy but at least she had lightbright with her which made her feel a little more secure.
 
Elliot smiled a bit quizzically at the girl's response, but she seemed enthusiastic so Elliot just nodded happily back at her. "Great! Just sign up here," He said, showing her the sign up sheet. He could vaguely see something going on through the crowd of students when he spotted Kengi towering over everyone, but it was hard to tell what was happening, especially with some more students looking to join the Wild Patch. "Oh great, you're welcome to write your name down here to sign up. And grab a flower crown too if you'd like," He told the Gryffindor who approached the table next.

"Cool Lois simply said as she wrote her name down on the parchment. It was so crowded that she really didn't want to spend too much time at any given table as she looked around at a few of the other clubs. She figured the Heta-Omega one would be something a prissy Goober like @Ivy Ashworth would want to join so knew that wasn't the club for her. She also could see Lenora at the table which made it all the more for her to want to avoid. She noticed a small crowd by the SDA and decided to walk over there next. @Willow Cullen "Hey can I sign up?" she asked figuring there wasn't a need for an explanation since it was basically in the title what they would be doing.
