Y36 Club Fair

Samantha had enjoyed Hogwarts Monthly so far. She enjoyed writing for the newspaper and all. But she decided that this year she wanted to join another club and be more involved with more school activities. There were so many interesting clubs that Samantha wanted to join. She walked into the courtyard, and she could see that there were some people already there, signing up for different clubs and what not. Samantha walked around to see if there was anything that had caught her eye. She then saw the Heta Omega's stall and a few girls crowding around the stall. She had heard that they did many activities and such in the club and she had thought it would be fun to join. Samantha made her way to the stall, seeing chocolate and bracelets on the stall. "Hello! Is there room for another person to join" Samantha says with a smile, while she spoke to the girl in the stall.

@Emilia Manning

Ruben looked at @Abian Hunter "Yeah just one more question. Where can I sign up?" he said giving him a smile.

it didn't take long for the first boy to approach, and Abian smiled at him as he asked his question. "It's a club where boys can hang out and have fun." He said with a shrug. "We have events every semester, and we just kinda do cool stuff." He told the boy, and he smiled at two other young boys who came to the booth. "Older students help younger ones, and we always have each other's backs." He explained. "Sometimes we do stuff with the Heta Omega girls too. Last year we all had a party together." He then looked up as Marco approached. He shrugged at the fellow Hufflepuff with an easy smile. "It's going fine so far, but you can help out if you want." He told him, then handed him the bowl of candy. "Maybe hand this out?" He then looked at the three young boys again. "Do you guys have more questions?"

Edward listened as the older boy spoke, he noticed that another boy had shown up but found himself too busy listening to what was being said. It sounded like everything he was looking to find and accomplish this year which made him excited. "I'd like to sign up" he said quickly as @Abian Hunter asked if they had any questions. He wasn't sure if there were any special requirements like the Yearbook committee had but figured if there were any the older student would have said something like the other one had. He didn't really care about throwing parties with girls but was excited about the prospect of helping others.

"So, it's a club just for guys?" Huh, he supposed that sounded pretty cool, not really what he had expected. And it seemed as though he wasn't the only one interested in the club, either. And the other boy's around him seemed equally interested in signing up for this club, and Fynn suddenly felt like he was about to get left out of something. "Me too!" He suddenly announced, "Let me join as well."

@Abian Hunter

Aurora was walking in the courtyard when she was surprised by a lot of students there and what it seemed...a Club Fair. She saw an old face there @Flynn North and gave him a small wave. She wasn't gonna approach him since she didn't really knew where she stood with him. She was suddenly attracted to a crowd of girls that were around a stall and decided to see what the fuss was all about. It was the Heta Omega stall, a sorority for girls. She decided to stay and hear what @Emilia Manning had to say about it.

Anj stood peering across the courtyard at all the nameless faces eager to join in on mainstream commotion. Because he had wanted to engulf himself into Hogwarts culture, and mostly because he was urged by a friend, he decided that joining a club, though against his introverted agenda entirely, could be something fun and entertaining. He walked past each of the clubs, eavesdropping on representatives and students’ conversations to get a feel for what he wanted to join. After a while, and some consideration, he decided on a club named The Brotherhood. He then met with someone called Abian to get more information. After a brief explanation Anj stated “this club actually sounds pretty cool and I’d love to join it!” Though with a look rather dismissive, inside Anj was hoping that he’d receive a positive response and was really excited for the possibility of being part of a club like this.
@Abian Hunter

Abian grinned as the boys showed interest in signing up. "Awesome. Glad to have you guys." He said happily, placing a signup sheet in front of them. "You guys can sign up here if you want." He told them brightly. "You too." He told the new boy who had joined them. "I've got a pen somewhere..." He said, looking around for it for a moment before realizing it had rolled off the table. He picked it up and handed it to one of the boys.

@Ruben Right @Edward Elric @Flynn North @anj

His eyes had narrowed somewhat as he noticed the annoying girl from the corridor waving at him, so he simply pretended that he hadn't seen her. Turning around again to face the stall again, a grin on his face as a sheet of paper was pushed towards them and they were told they could sign their names. "Me first," he didn't even hesitate, grabbing for the pen, "I was here first." As if that really meant anything in the long run, though it was a sort of gratifying feeling to write his name down on the paper first. Then he straightened up, offering the pen to the next person along if they wanted to sign their name as well.

@Abian Hunter

Ruben didn't liked @Flynn North manners, being there first didn't meant anything. He could have reached the pen and sign first, but whatever he was not in the mood to dramatise so he just turned to @Edward Elric and offered him a smile and the pen that was on the table and said "Go ahead, I'm in no rush. You can sign it first. Isn't that the Brotherhood spirit and be a bit selfless with your brothers? You can go ahead too @anj, I don't really care who came first."

It didn't take long at all for a girl to approach her, and Emilia smiled at her. "Nice to meet you Blake, you're right." She said brightly. "You can sign up here, and take a bracelet and a chocolate if you want." She said with a smile. She then held out a bracelet to the next girl who wanted to sign up. "Hi Aisling, nice to have you here." She said gently. "You can sign up too, and have a bracelet for signing up." She said cheerfully. "Hi Anna!" She said to the next girl. "Of course you can." She laughed as the next girl popped up too. They were really coming fast. "And you as well, Lily. You can sign up there." She said kindly, placing another signup sheet on the table. "Hi, you can join as well!" She told the next girl. "Grab a chocolate and a bracelet if you want!"

@Ruben Right @Edward Elric @Flynn North @anj
Anj noticed @Ruben Right but mostly his calmness and said “thanks” as he gladly signed the paper in his perfect handwriting, paying no attention to the guy that seemed to cut ahead of everyone. He’d been dealing with people with priority complexes his whole life, so he knew that kid wasn’t anything he’d be giving any thought towards.

Willow made her way to the club fair. She was running a little late as the props she was carrying was more awkward than she expected. Even with the dueling dummy hovering it was hard to get it through doors. She saw the room was already busy but the sda table was empty. She stopped put the bag she had down then set the dummy behind the table set to off.
she looked around to see where analei was annoyed that she was still sharing the club with the heard girl after she had last year said she was thinking ofstepping down as she was too busy with quidditch and perfect or not heard girl she supposed duties. She opened the bag and started to unpack. A few pictures of the dueling tournament last year. And a goblet filled with liquorice wands. She then looked around to see who was around

Blake liked this already. She signed her name AND she gets a chocolate and a bracelet? One word for it: HEAVEN. First one of her favourite things in life is chocolate, Blake just loves chocolate and chocolate loves her, it's way better than boys, no drama, no jealousy, no nothing. And then a bracelet?! Are you freaking kidding me? Jewellery is the way to a girl's heart but duh obviously they knew that, they were a girls' sorority. As she signed her name she said "Thank you. I'll come by the Heta Omega room tomorrow after class. See ya there @Emilia Manning"

Analei could see Willow's blue hair in front of her, but with the posters and things in her hand, she couldn't quite catch up to her. Willow definitely seemed cold towards Analei, but the blonde tried to push the feeling aside, thinking it was just her insecurities making her feel that. She couldn't understand why she would be angry with her, Analei didn't think she had done anything wrong. Trying to ignore the feelings, Analei continued to the Courtyard, where she saw Willow setting up. Putting on her best, smile, Analei tried to make herself feel excited. It was going to be a great year! "Hey Willow!" Analei greeted, magicking up some more posters and pictures of their dueling club, and putting some flyers on their table. "Big turn out this year!" She said, trying to make conversation with her co-leader.

OOCOut of Character:
Anyone wanting to join the Student Defense Association, feel free to talk to Analei or @Willow Cullen ! Please remember to @ us so we don't miss your reply ^_^

Beckett was around the courtyard for a while now when he saw a blue haired girl arriving with a lot of stuff in her hands. "Do you need help?" he asked. Clearly the girls seemed like she needed to unpack a lot so Beckett just decided to offer himself to help, after all he had nothing to lose in being friendly with a stranger.

@Willow Cullen

Aurora wasn't sure she fit in a sorority. She wasn't very girly like every other girl around. She was very hesitant. She decided to keep seeing the other stalls but she couldn't really take Heta Omega out of her head. "You know what? You are gonna sign in for that sorority Aurora Herondale. You are gonna step out of your comfort zone right now" she said to herself and without even thinking twice she marched to the Heta Omega stall "Hey, is the offer for me to sign up still up?"

@Emilia Manning

Feeling pretty great about signing up for the Brotherhood of Magic, something else equally interesting caught his eyes. So he frowned, shoving his hands back into his pockets as he wandered over towards the next stall. "What's with the dummy?" He questioned, brow creasing into a frown as he looked at the two girls who seemed to be manning this club stall. Student Defense Association? "Is this a duelling club?" Came the next question, looking down at the pictures set out on the table with a slight grin, "Can first years join?"

@Analei Louw

Analei looked at the dummy behind them, before smiling at the boy who asked the question. She nodded her head in answer to his questions. "Yes! We are a dueling club. The dummy is something that we practice with. First Years can join, but only for practices - unfortunately you aren't allowed to do the dueling competition until your second year. If you're still interested, here's the sign up sheet." Analei explained with a smile, handing the sheet over to the boy.
@Flynn North

Flynn found himself sighing when he was told that, unfortunately, first-years couldn't sign up for the dueling competition. Well, that rather sucked. He supposed he could understand why, he was still just a first-year and didn't know any useful dueling spells, but he still felt it was just a little unfair. But at least he could still sign up for the club if he wanted to. "You bet I want to join," he responded, all the same, still eagerly grabbing the sheet from the girl and scribbling his name in his rathe messy handwriting at the top of the page. Even if he couldn't take part in the dueling competition, getting in the extra practice was totally going to be useful.

@Analei Louw

Skylar had been taking a walk around the grounds by herself and as she was rounding the corner to get to the courtyard, she stopped short in her tracks since she saw there was a... club fair of some sort going on? Huh. She hadn't really attended these things before, so not knowing what to expect, she decided to just carry on walking and take a look around the stalls.

After browsing for a while, she decided that she quite liked the look of the duelling club! There were other options of course but they didn't really appeal to Skylar. A sorority? Nah, too girly. A gardening and herbology club? She'd have accidentally killed any plants they tried to grow. A yearbook club? Eh, she didn't particularly want to spend much time photographing events when she could be enjoying them. At the sight of the duelling club though, she perked up and may her way over. Unfortunately, she just overheard the end of the conversation between some of the other two members, a Gryffindor first year like her, who she remembered was called @Flynn North from the sorting ceremony and what seemed to be the leader of the club, who she had heard was the head girl, @Analei Louw.

"First Years can join, but only for practices - unfortunately you aren't allowed to do the dueling competition until your second year. If you're still interested, here's the sign up sheet." she overheard her say to the boy. Skylar let out a small sigh of disappointment, she'd been looking forward to duelling ever since she found out it had existed, and now she couldn't compete? Well, at least she could sign up for the practices! Coming closer to the stall, she introduced herself. "Hey, I'm Skylar, I overheard you say this wasn't for first years, but I'd still like to join for the practices! Is that ok?" now all that was left to do was wait and see whether @Analei Louw allowed her to join.

Four years of going to the Club Fair and still Jai could say that he wasn't all that fond of the crowd. This was probably one of those times that he can't exactly complain about bumping into anyone. He still went every year though to sign up for the Brotherhood and this year was no different. He briefly wondered where his siblings could be but decided that they'll find him when they get bored. The Slytherin made a beeline for the Brotherhood booth. "Need help?" he asked the club president, @Abian Hunter as soon as he arrived.

It had been weird last year when Misa had joined the SDA. She hadn't really expected her and Coco to be in different clubs. And this year, it was even more surprising that they were in different electives. Sure they now had the same general classes, but to think that they hadn't signed up for the same electives had been weird. And slightly upsetting to be honest. First different houses, then different clubs, and now different classes. It was disconcerting. Shaking her head to rid herself of these thoughts because this was not where she should be dealing with them, she skipped her way towards the Student Defense Association booth. Waving at @Analei Louw as she approached, she waited before the younger students had finished speaking before greeting the older student. "Busy day?"

Lily smiled as @Emilia Manning said she could sing up so she wrote Lily Harbour on the paper and took a chocolate and a bracelet. As she walked further with her Rose crown on her head and her bracelet on her arm she saw @Flynn North at the dueling club, She wold have join nut there is no way she is going to be in any club with that guy.

Mary Lou had not had the best start to this year. She wanted to be with people and after she'd been too afraid to sign up for anything in first year, she was a bit more refreshed now and she felt better able to do it. As she headed into the Great hall, she carried a box of cookies with her to give to the leaders of the groups she wanted to join. She hoped maybe that would help to ingratiate her to them and they would be more likely to accept her. When she walked in she immediately headed over to the table that she thought held the girls group. "Uh, excuse me. Hello, I'm Mary Lou," she said, smiling as she held out the cookies to @Emilia Manning. "Could I join please?"

Rai didn't really do clubs as such, but he knew he needed away to spend more time with people he needed to get to know. So he figured joining the brotherhood wasn't a bad idea. "Hey, this the boys club?" He asked, looking at the older boy.
