Clubs were an important part of the Hogwarts experience, a means for students to socialize and make new friends outside of classes and their year group while also allowing them opportunities to discover and make the most of their interests. Thus, Jon felt honored to take part in setting up the club fair that year and supervising the event, knowing that this was the chance for students to find their place in school and possibly figure out their path in the wider wizarding world. He wanted to ensure this fair would be as successful as it was in the previous years, and made sure each club had their own table set up in the entrance hall with everything they would need to show students of all years what their clubs had to offer. The club leaders were notified to arrive a few minutes early to set up their tables, and after they arrived and everything appeared to be perfectly ready, Jon stepped back and allowed the event to begin, not wanting to disturb the leaders from doing their thing unless they asked for or required any help. Knowing how competent and responsible they were, he didn't expect he would be needed constantly, but he intended to keep an eye on what was happening regardless. He watched with a smile on his face as students began to arrive, optimistic and confident the club fair would turn out its usual amount of success.

Being put in charge of the Wild Patch had been a pleasant surprise to Ainsley, and after helping Ellie out the last few years at the Club Fair, she felt like she had a good idea of what to do. Armed with flower crowns aplenty and a basket of fruits and berries she had grown herself, Ainsley made her way to the table assigned for the Wild Patch and set to decorating, arranging flowers all around the table, and setting her basket of treats down ready for hungry students to eat their fill. She had already donned a flower crown of her own, and woven a few of her favourite flowers into her wild hair for the occasion. With her booth decorated and ready to go Ainsley stepped back and admired her work, smiling as she picked up her sign-up sheet. The Wild Patch booth looked great, and she felt ready to welcome new members to the club.

Kauri was still a little shellshocked by the new office he held. He had been dreading this year in Brotherhood, having to follow Tristan's orders, if the other boy even deigned to keep him around. But here he was, in charge himself now, with his own chance to run the club the way he wanted, and make it a fun and positive place for guys to support and learn from each other. He would still have to work with Tristan, demoting the other boy for personal reasons hadn't even crossed his mind, but the sulking about the shift in power between them was something Kauri didn't really know how to deal with. Hopefully Tristan wouldn't show it in front of the other members, at least. He tried to get that mess off his mind as he set up his table in the entrance hall, a big poster with Join The Brotherhood Of MAGIC hanging across the front, and a couple of bowls with lollies to get people interested sitting on top of it. Tristan would probably be coming to help but Kauri tried not to think about that, focusing on keeping a cheerful smile as he waited to meet the new guys who would be joining them this year.

Flavio wasn't surprised when Ainsley was appointed the new wild patch club leader, given her passion for the wild patch and amount of spare time she spent there, making sure each plant was well looked after. She was by far the perfect choice for the role and he was happy to support her as both a friend and member of the club, showing up to the club fair that year to show this and help out if she needed it. When he arrived and spotted the wild patch table, he walked over to Ainsley with a smile on his face, realizing that he might not have been needed after all as the table was set up perfectly. The flowers in Ainsley's hair were a nice finishing touch and Flavio wished he thought to bring a flower crown of his own for the event. "This looks great." He said to Ainsley, smiling between her and what she organized on the table. Wanting to match the aesthetic of the booth, Flavio picked up a stray flower and placed it in the front pocket of his shirt before moving to the other side of the table. "Did you need help with anything?" He asked, still thinking she had everything under control because it appeared that way, but wanting to make sure just in case.

The blonde was on her way to the entrance hall to be part of the last Club Fair ever. Evelyn was ambitious to let many more girls join Heta Omega. She hoped that she inspired people when she wouldn't be around anymore next year. It was a strange thought and it made the blonde also a bit sad. Except for the Headgirl title the blonde achieved anything she wanted on Hogwarts and she liked her life. She had lots of friends and the most handsome boy ever. And she was thankfull that Maddie and Izzy had made her president for Heta Omega when they left. Evelyn hoped that people want to join the Heta Omega club. So she had bought a lot of stuff to decorate their stand. When she walked pass the others she noticed Ainsley for the Wild Patch and smiled shortly at her. She noticed Flavio later and waved towards him. The blonde had asked some girls to help her out with the stand and to welcome new members. When she was with the place of the Heta Omega stand she smiled. The bracelets were a thing she brought along and she put them in a beautiful box on the table so that whenever someone joined they got one. But she thought of something extra this year. Every bracelet was into a goodiebag with some make-up items and some sweets and more girly stuff. So everyone got a goodiebag as welcome gift. On the bracelets stood Heta Omega and a tiny heart from real silver. Evelyn knew that from last year they were a great succes. When that was done the blonde went on with decorating the stand. She took out her wand and made sure on the top of the stand stood Heta Omega in big glittery letters. So that nobody could miss it. The blonde was curious who would join this year. She had also ordered some delicious cupcakes, all decorated with Heta Omega on it. She was really quick with decorating and it didn't even was so much hard work. It was something the blonde thanked her father mostly for and his money to let this all happen. Last year needed to be the most special ever right?

Unlike the other clubs, Accio! did not have a table for sign ups. The yearbook was sorted out beyond the means of tables, but instead, Zoe held her camera around her neck, and had a sheet of parchment and a clipboard so that she could go around and take pictures of the club leaders, and the club members while noting who was in what club. Zoe smiled to herself as she walked around the Great Hall, while the Acccio! table had samples of their work out for viewing. As a leader, she had to participate in some way. She went back to her table to sit down, while organizing the yearbook. She thought over the events that could happen this year. The Superlatives were Accio! based, but she wasn't sure fi she was able to organize it this year.

If there was one event every year that Geo didn't fail to attend, it was the Club Fair. With so many options on offer it was always exciting to find out what was going on, and to see if there were any clubs she could have joined. Her favourite of course was the Student Defence Association, and now in the fifth year she'd been offered the chance to help run the club. Even though she'd not spent too much time with the president, she was keen to make it a success and follow in the same footsteps as Bea.

She was already at the table, doing her best to help set up so that it was ready when the time came for the students to be introduced. As a new prefect she also felt additional pride on her chest, grateful that anyone would consider her worthy to be a role model for the younger students. She knew she still had a lot to learn, but she was going to do her best to do so. She waved at Kauri and Flavio as she spotted the boys across the hall, making a mental note to go and speak to them later, but for now she wanted to make sure the SDA table was as good as it could be, and to see if she could be of any help to her president.

Sophie wished she wasn't nervous, but she was. She had helped Lennon out at previous club fairs often enough, but this would be the first time she would have to run the sign-ups for the paper herself. Sophie knew she wasn't the most friendly or inviting person, so she was a little bit worried that she wouldn't attract many new people to the paper. Hopefully, Noemie Vanity would join her. Sophie had to admit a grudging admiration for the girl, though she wouldn't admit that out loud. Sophie thought that working with her wouldn't be too bad, though she did worry the girl resented her for her position. But she was a friend of Amber's, so hopefully wouldn't take it out on Sophie even if she was. Maybe some other members of the club would help out as well. Assuming they would stick around even without Lennon, which she was a little tiny bit worried about deep inside.

The girl had set up the table with a few old issues of the paper, as well as a signup sheet and a few pens. She wondered if she should have decorated it more, but that seemed a little silly. Amber would probably be helping at the Heta Omega table, and Sophie glanced over to try and catch a glimpse of her. The Heta Omega table was covered with stuff they were giving away, which Sophie silently scoffed at. It was like they were bribing people to be members, in her opinion. She rolled her eyes and looked away, focusing on her own table. For this occasion, it would be nice to be a little bit more like her sister. She doubted Amber had ever scared anyone off with her angry face. Sophie didn't try to smile, as she knew it would look fake, but she did try to look nonthreatening.

Amber wondered if she would stop to think with every event this year that it would be the last one for her. She probably would, because that's all she could focus on as she stepped into the hall and looked at the different club leaders setting up. It would be the final time that she was here for one of these fairs, and that was kind of terrifying. As Amber made her way to the Heta Omega table, she glanced at her sister who was manning the table for Hogwarts Monthly. Amber couldn't help but hope that the club fair would be a success to her, as she knew Sophie was a little nervous about it. She gave her sister an encouraging smile before heading over to Evelyn. She stopped in surprise at the amount of stuff on the table. It seemed like Evelyn was going all out this year, with goodiebags, bracelets and cupcakes. "Wow." Amber said, taking it all in. "Can I help?"

Noemie had a two fold job when it came to the club fair, she helped out in two places, the Heta Omega and the Monthly. She liked doing both, they were fun projects for Noemie to do during the hours of school. She liked both equally, but maybe tended to spend a little more time in the monthly than she did in the Heta omega club, just largely down to the fact that two others helped run the heta omega and she tended to just support the one when it came to the monthly. Noemie was therefore keen to check on both but spend her time with the Monthly stall. She walked into the room and found the heta omega stall easily. She walked over to it and greeted the two girls, "Congratulations on being head girl!" she said to Amber with a bright and excited expression, there had been a time where Noemie would've liked to have gotten the position but she believed and knew that Amber was the much better choice. She greeted Evelyn too, but smiled at both with a sorry expression, "I would love to stay, but I'm going to go help out a little more with the Monthly stand," Noemie told them before heading over to where the hogwarts monthly stall was. It wasn't decorated in nearly the same way but they had a different purpose and message one that didn't need a whole lot of flashy stuff, "Hey Sophie!" Noemie greeted, "I'm here to help out in whatever way you need me to!"

Vader held the camera lightly in his hands as he went into the club fair. He had learned from Sianna that he should go to this and be around the yearbook stall, even if their process was a little trickier for getting new people, others should know about it. But Vader didn't know if he needed to be there, he knew he would be eventually be taking Sianna's position fully, but this year his title was just photographer and next year he'd be co-editor. It was a daunting prospect, he was glad for the extra year, some more time to learn from Zoe before he and whoever replaced her were left to figure out how to run the whole thing. He though it might be a good thing, but nonetheless, he decided to be at the club fair. He glanced around the busy room and brought his camera up and took a few small pictures of the gathering crowd. He moved further in taking pictures of the heta omega's bright stand, of the monthly's stand. He took a picture of the wild patch stand and eventually found his way to the yearbook, "Hey Zoe," the boy said shyly, "I'll be about if you need any help," the boy said to her with a nervous expression on his face. He was very intimidated by Zoe, but he did like her. He would remain at the stand for a few minutes before maybe moving on.

Aonghas knew that the club fair wouldn't be the most interesting thing to attend, but he knew it would still be important for him to. He had heard from Rory about the different clubs that existed at hogwarts and he was quite keen to give most of them a shot. He knew he could do a few of them in his current status as a first year and also as someone who identified as male, but there were other things for him to check out he was sure of it. The boy wandered in, spotting a few people about the room, though from a first glance no one he knew. That was until at a stand marked wild patch he spotted the girl who had sold him his wand. He decided to go over, it seemed like an odd club but he was at school for a seven year learning vacation until he went home for the family business, why not do more things that he wouldn't otherwise do. So, he decided to head over, "Hey," Aonghas greeted her with a friendly expression playing on his features, "What's the wild patch dae?" he asked, since he wasn't quite sure, he had to imagine it did something outside.

Cyzarine was so excited to engage with everything that was the magical place of Hogwarts, so the moment she had heard about the club fair the girl had headed to it. She had a few ideas of what she wanted to sign up for, the monthly was one, but she wasn't sure if she should wait until her second year to sign up for it, but definitely for sure, Cyzarine would be joining the Heta Omega, she had heard rumblings about what the club had done in the last semester from other students, and Cyzarine needed a piece of that action! She walked around the great hall and finally spotted the girls and their stall. She skipped on over to them quickly and grinned excitedly at the two older students who were at it. "I'd love to join!" she told them her light russian accent singing upon her words. It certainly flowed more melodically when she was excited about something, which seemed to be everything nowadays. But, she was so ready to just sign up for this club.

Tristan was still very much angry that he hadn't been elevated from Vice President to President of Brotherhood, as that had been what he expected. But now Kauri was the leader of the club, and Tristan had to listen to him. He had seriously considered quitting the club, but he knew it looked well that he was a part of it. Vice President was still better than nothing. Besides, he really wasn't a quitter. He made his way over to the Brotherhood table, giving Kauri a cool look. "Heta Omega is upstaging us." He told him, though he gave the other table a dismissive glance. "They're trying too hard, though. Guess Manning has money to throw around." He kept his voice quiet, but couldn't quite hide the disdain. He sighed, knowing Kauri wouldn't approve of his assessment of the other club, but not caring in the least. He put on a friendly smile as he looked at people passing by. "So what's the plan, president?" He put a bit of sarcasm into the word, but not so much that it would be easy to call it out.

As she was looking over the stall to make sure everything looked the way she wanted it, Ainsley heard a familiar voice. Looking over, she smiled brightly at Flavio as he approached. "Hi! Thanks!" She said happily, pleased that she had done a good job of setting up the stall. "Some help would be great! I'm really hoping lots of people come along to join us." She smiled at Flavio putting a flower in his pocket, quickly picking up a flower crown from the table and setting it on his head. "There. Now you really look the part." She said cheerfully. Ainsley was still smiling as a boy approached their booth, her expression brightening as she recognised him as Rory's brother. "Hi!" She said happily, picking up a signup sheet in the hopes that he would be interested. "The Wild Patch is primarily a gardening club, we have our own section of the Hogwarts Garden to look after, where we grow whatever we like. We're also involved in activism work, we run LGBTQ pride events every year, and help educate people both about their environments and the lives of different people around them." Ainsley wasn't sure if the boy would know what she was talking about, she certainly hadn't known what LGBTQ meant when she was in first year, but hopefully at least the gardening stuff would be interesting to him. "If you'd like to sign up I'll add your name to my list!"

Sophie felt relief when she saw the beautiful older girl approach, glad for the help. She had seen the girl head to Heta Omega first, but was glad she had decided Sophie probably needed the help more, because she did. "Hey." She said, giving her a small smile. "Uh, I'm not sure what I need yet. No one has approached so far, but when they do maybe you can tell them something about the paper?" Sophie shrugged. "Maybe we both can." She decided, not wanting to seem like she didn't want to do her part.

Evelyn was happy to see when Amber joined her. She knew she could count on the girl always. Evelyn had been a bit sad about not making it to head girl, but if she thought someone deserved it, it was one of her best friends Amber. Now she just felt proud of her and she knew she would do an amazing job. '' Hi Amber! Looks good right?!'' Evelyn said proud and confident of what she had been thinking of. People could say that it was too much or anything but the blonde didn't cared. She put herself all into everything she did. So she had been preparing for this a long time and wanted to get the best out of it. '' Sure! I'm glad you are here. If you want to help me out with welcoming people and make sure when they sign up they get a goodiebag. The bracelet is included. And take a cupcake yourself if you like!'' Evelyn said friendly to Amber and knew they made a good team. She noticed the first students walking in and knew she didn't had all put this together for nothing since a girl said she wanted to join. The girl seemed nice and Evelyn was sure she would fit into Heta Omega.
'' Hi! That's amazing. I'm Evelyn and this is Amber. You can sign up here. ''
Evelyn pointed to the girl and smiled bright. Than she took a goodiebag and gave it to the girl. '' Here is your welcome gift! Do you have any questions about the club?'' Evelyn asked the girl to make sure everything was clear and the girl knew what she was signing up to. The blonde looked over the the brotherhood table and noticed two boys. They were younger and she was curious how they would do. A fact was that they already had a new membe and they didn't so go girls!

The only club Leda had any interest in being a part of, was the one she had with her friends. That being said she still decided this year to head into the Great Hall and find out what else the other students were involved in. As far as she was aware, Olive didn't join anything either, but she wanted to do her best with her time left at Hogwarts, and hoped it would make her sister feel a bit better about the families situation. Most of the tables looked a bit plain, but at least everyone seemed to be talking to one another. Spotting one table that was covered in stuff though, it caused the fourth year to pause, and peer into one of the bags to see various small glittery pink boxes of powder and goop, whatever that was for. That wasn't all, there were bracelets and cakes and who knew what else to entice the younger girls into joining their seemingly arrogant sorority. Leda giggled to herself as she looked around at the mass, "I didn't think anyone actually tried to buy their popularity anymore."

Cyzarine was so pleased at the exceedingly warm reception she got from the heta omega president, and took to the quill to sign herself up, ”Thanks! I’m Cyzarine!” The girl said to them brightly keeping the grin happy on her face, she took the gift and shook her head, ”Not really, I’m just so excited to make some more friends!” the girl excitedly looked between the two. She would’ve said more to that, but an older girl, though younger than Amber and Evelyn spoke and Cyzarine frowned a little, that wasn’t a particularly nice thing to say really, why would she say that. Cyzarine couldn’t help but frown at her, ”That’s not very nice, they’re just cakes and bracelets, it’s a nice thing to have,” Cyzarine hoped this girl wasn’t a part of the club, it was better to have fun and be involved than be boring and just a sour lemon about things. Maybe the older girls wouldn’t be bothered by it, or the girl hadn’t meant as much by it, but Cyzarine smiled at the two other girls and wandered away. She wanted to wander a little before she joined another club.

Aonghas smiled at the wild patch leader as she told him about what the club did, he didn’t mind gardening. He’d never really taken a physical interest in it, they hired a gardener and he lived in a country that tended to be rather wet so there wasn’t much of an interest for him to be. The latter half of what she said confused him a little, the two he could see matching, but not entirely. He wasn’t sure if he should sign up for it then, he obviously agreed with the ability to be LGBT and whatever else, but he had been raised to believe muggles were less than him, that muggleborns were and he knew that he would marry nothing less than a pureblood lass, so maybe it wouldn’t be all that good to sign up. He believed the rest of it, protecting the environment, he would just have to be quiet. Though he was also smart enough to know that maybe vocalising how he felt wasn’t the right way to go about it. ”Aye a’right,” the boy replied as he went to sign up for the club. ”Dae ah get ae flower crown?” he asked, if he was signing up for it he could just also lean into it. This wasn’t the only thing he was probably going to sign up for.

Hayden had been surprised when he was offered the position of SDA president but he was looking forward spending the year in charge of something. The seventh year made his way down to the entrance hall where the club fair was being held. Geo had beaten him to it so the SDA table was already set up which he was glad about as setting up the table wasn't something he had been looking forward to. "Thanks for setting up Geo," He said as he joined her. Hopefully between them they would be able to recruit lots of new students for the SDA.

Clubs were important, Etienne thought. It was a way to meet more people, they could be fun, and he was quite eager to learn he could all about magic as well. So, he was not missing out on this club fair, rushing down the stairs from the Ravenclaw common room to try and be one of the first ones to arrive so he got a good look at everything. The lanky boy was filled to the brim with excitement, fingertips almost tingling with eagerness as he wandered through the entrance hall. "Hiya Professor!" He greeted first when he saw his Head of House, offering the older man a wide grin and an enthusiastic wave of his hand. But then his attention was caught by the closest stall to him, nose scrunching as he read the words on the batter. "Brotherhood of magic," he read out loud, glancing down to the face of the older boy who seemed to be running this stall, "What's that then?"

Kauri returned Geo's wave as he was setting up, trying not to let Tristan's impending arrival spoil his mood. And then the older boy was there, and Kauri had to try and ignore the sinking feeling he always got when he saw Tristan. It was even worse now, after their fight over club activities, and he was sure Tristan would have something nasty to say. Kauri was a little surprised when Tristan's nasty comment was directed not at him, but at the extravagant Heta Omega table. He had thought it was a little sad for the girls club to have so much nice stuff when he only had a couple of bowls of lollies that he had spent his first paycheck on. Even if Kauri had thought of doing gift bags, there was no way he would be able to afford anything nice to put in them, even with his new job. "Well, we'll just have to hope people want to join us just for the sake of the club." He said in a low tone, trying to keep the glumness out of his voice. His strange moment of agreeing with Tristan quickly ended though, and he had to try not to let his irritation show at Tristan's tone. Instead he put on a cheerful smile, handing Tristan a spare signup sheet. "We put on a happy face and try to get as many people to join as possible." He said firmly, determined not to let anything spoil his mood. He was gonna be positive and happy when new guys approached them to join the club. And it didn't take long before one did. Kauri smiled brightly at the younger boy, hoping to make him feel welcome. "The Brotherhood is a club for guys to hang out and make friends, talk about the problems we have as wizards and support each other when times are tough! If you wanna make new friends for life and know there's always somewhere you can go to talk to someone, the Brotherhood is the place to be!" He gave an encouraging smile, hoping that his pitch had intrigued the boy enough for him to want to join.

The Club Fair seemed to be an almost overwhelming mix of banners, tables, decorations, and students and Elliot had to pause and take stock of it as he stepped into the hall. This had seemed like a great idea when Elliot was planning back in the dorms, but now he was here he couldn't help but feel at a loss with where to start. He spotted what looked awfully like the attendant who had helped him at Ollivander's, but opted to approach another table that had caught his eye.
Elliot removed his hands from his pockets as he walked up to the two older students at the table before gesturing to the table. "Hi, uh, so what does SDA stand for?"

There were so many options!! Sierra didn't know where to go to first. Could she join all of the clubs? They all looked like so much fun! The glittery sormority or whatever had a couple of people in front of it, so Sierra looked around and saw a hood of magic. There was also a SAD club which didn't sound right to her, and a wild club which sounded just like her. The hood of magic definitely stood out, so she skipped over to the guys there with a big smile. "Hello! Can I join your magic hood?"
