Simon had spent a lot of his time recently pulling everything together for tonight which meant he didn't have to stress about his impending graduation. Tonight he had enough to worry about, with so many kids around fire he knew he had to be vigilant. Thankfully the weather had cooperated with him and there was a slight chill now that winter was right around the corner that made the heat coming from the fire pleasant and comforting. There were a few games and activities and of course plenty of snacks, with marshmallows and chocolate to make s'mores. He just hoped it would be enough to satisfy both the boys and the girls from Heta Omega. It was all of the leader's last event to host at Hogwarts and there was a lot of pressure to make it count.

He waved over to Samantha and Noel as both clubs started to arrive, and he cleared his throat before addressing them. "Good evening everyone!" he shouted. "I'll keep this brief so we can get right down to the festivities. But first I would like welcome not only all the boys from Brotherhood of Magic but the girls from Heta Omega as well." he said with a warm smile and tried to see if he could find Lila in the dark crowd. "Since this is our last event before we graduate in a few short weeks I would like to say it has been a pleasure to serve as your Co-president for the last two years. But before I let you all loose to cozy up by the fire and eat all the snacks, a few quick words from our other leaders." he finished with a slight bow and gestured towards Noel and Samantha for them to say something if they wanted.

Please wait to post until Maria has posted with Samantha Jacobs and Jamie has posted with Noel Waldgrave! Thanks!

Samantha couldn't believe that it was the last Heta Omega event she was attending. It had made her realise that it wasn't long before the semester was coming to an end and that graduation wasn't that long either. However, she was glad that she was doing a joint event with Brotherhood, as her last event she'd be doing. The Hufflepuff did her best to help with setting up the event by bringing snacks and whatnot.

It wasn't long before the members of both clubs had started to arrive and Simon had waved them over for the event to begin. She nodded and smiled as Simon spoke, agreeing with the points he had mentioned. Samantha smiled as he then gestured for the other leaders to speak, and slightly raised her hand in a wave. "Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I won't say that much, but like Simon said, It's been a pleasure being your president for the past year! I hope you all have a great evening" Sam says with a small smile, as she then looks towards Noel, to see if he was going to say anything. She was excited about the event, and couldn't wait to bond and hang with the members of the clubs.

Noel could not believe the year was almost coming to an end. He was kind of emotional, but also excited what the future would bring. As he made his way outside for the last Brotherhood event that they would do with Heta Omega he smiled as he saw Samantha and Simon. And as people were coming and seemed to be there Simon started speaking and he went standing close to him with an smile towards the crowd ahead of them. He agreed with all that Simon said. Than when Samantha spoke he nodded and as she finished it was his turn and he smiled. '' For me also it was an pleasure to serve as an co-president of the Brotherhood for two years. It's strange that this is our last year and time together. I want to thank you all for making those two years great. And let's have some fun tonight to make memories we never forget!'' He than said with an big smile. The brown haired boy than was ready for the party to begin.

Sorry for the delay, you can now post!

Gwen was pretty excited about this event. She liked being part of Heta Omega, and the idea of doing something fun outside was nice. Especially with the boys from the Brotherhood also there. Gwen really wanted to make a few more friends, and this seemed like a perfect opportunity. She had dressed warmly, wearing her new pink cardigan, and she made her way to the bonfire. There were a lot of snacks, and Gwen was excited to see it. The brotherhood president spoke first, and then Samantha followed. She said it had been fun to be their president for the past year, and Gwen felt a surge of envy. It was a position she really wanted to have by the tiem she was a seventh year, and for longer than a measly year. The other brotherhood boy spoke as well, then they could have some fun. Gwen walked over to the snacks and grabbed a few marshamllows to roast. She looked around to see if anyone was nearby to hang out with.

The idea of having a bonfire together with the Heta Omega girls was pretty awesome, and Lucas was looking forward to it. The club leaders spoke to them briefly, and it was strange to think that all three of them would graduate at the end of the year. Even weirder would be that Lucas was fairly close to graduating himself. In only two years he would be almost done. After Simon, Samantha, and Noel all spoke to them, Lucas found himself a comfortable spot near the fire. He was a bit tired and just stared at the fire for a moment, suppressing a yawn.

Bonfires had always been a part of the Cullen family for as long as he could remember at least once a week they had something cooked outside. sitting by the fire next to his family with the warmth on his face always made him feel relaxed. when he had heard that the next brotherhood meeting was going to be a bonfire he was excited. a night off by the fire was just what the healer ordered, between the impending OWLS and the upcoming quidditch match it was good to just relax. he listened to the president's speech it was weird to think that it was this close to the end of the year. after this holiday they would be heading into two years of newt courses. and then that would be it. hopefully then off to the sanctuary training as a zoologist. after the speech he went to the snack table and grabbed some dough, a couple of sticks, and some marshmallows before heading towards where he could see Lucas sitting by the flames. "Hey Lucas. are you okay there?" he said plopping himself down and handing him one of the sticks. "Help yourself" he said as he started to roll out a worm of dough and twist it around his stick in a way that you could tell he had done a thousand times.

Heta Omega meetings were always fun, but it was especially nice when they met up with the Brotherhood. Issac was part of the brotherhood, so Emma hoped to hang out with her boyfriend. She would also be able to spend time with Nicole and with her twin, just probably not at the same time. It made Emma a bit sad that the two of them didn't get along, but she didn't want to get in the middle of it. Though she knew it bothered Iris more than she let on. After the presidents of the two clubs finished speaking to them, Emma hopped over to Samantha and gave her a grin. "Thanks for being a great president." She told the girl. "I can't believe you're graduating!"

@Samantha Jacobs

Lucas was lost in thought for a moment, until he heard a familiar voice. He looked up, smiling at the sight of Linden. His heart did a little skip, remembering their time at the Valentine's Dance. He patted the ground next to him, glad Linden joined him. "I'm alright, just a bit tired." He said. Gratefully, he took one of the sticks from Linden. "Thanks." He said, glancing at him. "You seem to know what you're doing." He said, smiling shyly. "I haven't been at a bonfire in years." He added, glancing at the fire. "It's nice, cozy."

@Linden Cullen

Iris arrived at the meeting on her own, having put on a sweater and bringing a scarf. She knew the fire would keep them warm, but it was still getting colder. She spotted her sister but didn't join her, aware that it would be complicated once Nicole showed up. Instead, she sat down by the fire by herself, wrapping her scarf around her shoulders. She would try to enjoy the evening and not dwell on things with Nicole, even though Iris really missed her friendship. She sighed softly, throwing a small stick into the flames and watching it burn.

Flynn didn't really get why the Brotherhood was always trying to do something with the Heta girls. At least this wasn't the stupid blind date idea. But a bonfire was still pretty lame and he didn't really know why he was bothering to show up in the first place. But he did, wrinkling his nose slightly as he glanced around, shoving his hands into his pocket as he took a seat far away from everyone else in the hopes that no one would try and bother him or talk to him.

A bonfire was cool! There was a grin on his face as he rushed down to the meeting early, looking around at everyone who had already arrived. He wasn't very emotional about the co-presidents all graduating, he hadn't really gotten to get to know any of them so he supposed it didn't matter. Instead, he looked around for someone to talk to before he could help himself to all the snacks and eat his fill before everyone else got the chance to eat them first. He was short and needed all the fuel to grow, you know.

Linden couldn't help but smile as Lucas looked at him. the light of the fire lifting and softening his features. he nodded as his friend said that he was just tired. 'yeah OWLs are a killer or if you want to fall asleep you can lean on me, I'm not going anywhere" he said as he looked into the flames. there was so much to cover. and even though he doubted he would get good grades he just needed to do well enough to get into the right courses for next year.
he chuckled as Lucas commented that he hadn't been to a bonfire for years and that he seemed o know what he was doing. "My parents love bonfires. any excuse and they will have one. but you are right there is something very cozy sitting around the flames. " he said. thinking back to New Year at home and how much fun the bonfire was. even ivy was learning to roast things though all of hers were more burnt than cooked. "Do you want this one?" he said offering Lucas the twisted dough stick to roast. it wouldnt take him long to make another for himself.

Louis listened to Caleb's brother as he spoke to them, waiting impatiently until he could get himself some marshmallows. He was glad when the older students finally stopped talking and he could grab himself some snacks. But as he passed a familiar boy on the way to the marshmallows, Louis stopped. "Hey." He said with a grin. "Xinyi, right?" He asked, sure he had talked to this boy about playing Quidditch once and had offered to play football with him. "Still wanna play that game of football sometime?"

@Jingyi Huang

Jordie listened to the different leaders speak, staying still a moment after they'd finished talking as he tried to decide what he wanted to do. He styled his hair a bit before looking around. There were a lot of people, but he soon spotted two people he knew. "Hi guys!" He greeted, not stopping to see if he was interrupting and sitting down next to Linden. "What are you guys up to?" He asked, looking between them with a bright smile.

@Linden Cullen @Lucas Fletcher

Hamish was still unsure about the brotherhood. He sat down and listened to the leaders, before stopping and looking around to spot his brother. Not seeing him immediately, he turned and walked over to an empty seat. He sat down, gathering a couple of sticks and snacks to share.

@Seamus Reid

Once they had all finished speaking, everyone was dismissed to do their own thing for the rest of the evening. The girl hadn't noticed anyone she specifically knew yet until she had noticed her brother's girlfriend approach her. "Hey! Oh, you're welcome! It's been fun! And that's sweet of you" Samantha says with a chuckle and smile. "I know right? Time goes by quite fast" Samantha says with a smile. She honestly couldn't believe how fast time went by. "How are you and Issac doing? I hope he isn't giving you any trouble" Samantha says with a small chuckle and a wink.

@Emma van Houten

Molly had thought the idea of the bonfire was fun. She was also thought that having an event with brotherhood was interesting. She had seen that her brother was in the brotherhood group but thought not to bother him because he would just be ignoring her, and Molly didn't see the point in trying this time around. Once the leaders of the clubs had finished speaking, Molly had decided to stand around awkwardly for a bit, unsure of what to do next.

Nolan thought the bonfire idea was epic. He also thought that it was nice to share the event with Heta Omega was a cool idea. As it would be nice to meet a few different people. Since he had heard that there was a bonfire at the event, he thought it would be fun to bring his guitar with him. Hopefully to create some fun tunes for the event. Once after the leaders of the clubs had finished speaking, Nolan made sure that his guitar was tuned, before starting to play a tune.

Issac listened as the leaders spoke, one of them being his sister. If he was being honest, he was surprised by how fast the year went by. His sister was graduating and it wasn't long before he himself was going to graduate. Once the speeches were over, he went over to the snack area to grab himself some marshmallows, and looked around to see if he noticed anyone that he could talk to, noticing that his sister and girlfriend were talking to each other.

Hattie was looking forward to the next Heta Omega event. It would be one of her last and she couldn't help but find that a little sad. Sam was the president and she had done a very good job. In fact, even the leaders of the Brotherhood were graduating, and so she thought it was a good idea to get everyone together one last time. The Ravenclaw took a seat on the ground as the leaders spoke very briefly. Sam was just so confident speaking to such a big crowd and Hattie couldn't help but be a little jealous. There was no way Hattie could ever do such a thing herself. As they were told to have fun and everyone began mingling, Hattie wanted to go over and talk to Sam, but noticed she was beat by a younger Gryffindor. She didn't want to disturb them, and so just continued sitting down, smiling around at some faces as she did so.

Louis was really happy to be part of the Brotherhood. He had already become more friendly with a few people and was glad that it had been pretty easy so far. There was thankfully no mention of going on any dates with anyone and Louis was happy for this. Brotherhood was just a good place where he could talk to nice people without worrying about anything else.

The Hufflepuff made his way to the bonfire event that the leaders put on with the Heta Omega club. There were already lots of people there and Louis was unable to find anyone familiar. He stood around as the leaders spoke, still looking around for people that he knew. As everyone began dispersing, Louis soon found Jordie. So he didn't look awkward just standing around, Louis immediately made his way over to him. He was talking to two older Hufflepuffs, and Louis just smiled at them. "Hey." he said a little awkwardly, his hands in the pockets of his robes.

Sky was happy to hear that the sisterhood event was going to be outside. a bonfire reminded her of mid-summer back home where people would build the biggest tower they could and set fire to it and stay up so late and even the sun didn't want to go to sleep. of course it wasn't midsummer now. but bonfires were fun. she headded down to the lawn dressed in and outfit that made her feel a little like a wood fairy. because what else would you want to feel like while being outside in the early autumn. with all its flowing layers was it the most practical thing to wear around the fire? of course not. but sky was almost twelve and who cared to be practical when you were twelve and could feel like an elf. as soon as she reached the fire she kicked her shoes off enjoying the feel if the grass beneith her feet and listened to the leaders talk about it being their last meeting. graduation sounded like such a far off concept. a distant whatever. she was only a first year, the year was going quickly but she still had six more to go.
once the speeches were over she twirled over to the food table and picked up a marshmallow which she promptly stuffed into her mouth before skipping around the fire feeling free kiijung at what people were doing. there were people talking, a group f boys making pinnebrod, and people sitting with friends. she noticed a boy had brought a guitar down and she wished that the had thought and brought something. not her viola. she wouldn't dream of having that so close to a fire. but maybe a guitar or her mind went to when she had spent times with her aunty rosie and she thought of her whistle. a whistle would have been fun. whay had she not even though to bring her wistle with her. she smiled at the boy "what a good idea. it sounds good" she said before starting to whistle in tune to him. she wondered if the arts room had a whistle. it wouldn't take long to get there and if not she knew there would be a spare guitar that she could borrow.

Delilah usually enjoyed Heta events well enough. But she felt a little odd about the event being organized with the Brotherhood. She stood around with the rest of the members as her brother addressed them first. She almost wanted to laugh at the diplomatic way he spoke. He was so different up there speaking as Co-President then he ever was at home or when they crossed paths at school. She sighed and wished he could be like that all the time. She listened to Samantha and Noel speak next but got a little distracted as she tried to find Caleb but in the dark it was hard. Once they were free to do as they pleased she wandered over to the snack table and grabbed a piece of chocolate to nibble on. She wondered if Brooke would show up. A bonfire didn't seem like something she would like but Delilah doubted she'd ever miss a club meeting on purpose.

When Caleb heard that next Brotherhood meeting was going to be a bonfire he couldn't wait. He was less excited when he found out it would be held with the Heta girls. Now he would have to avoid his brother and his sister. He immediately stopped listening when Simon gave his speech and instead stared at the fire until all the leaders had their moment to talk. He wasted no time grabbing marshmallows and sticking them in his pockets before roasting them in the fire. Caleb hadn't bothered to get any of the other ingredients and instead put the marshmallow straight into his mouth. "Ow hot." he mumbled with his mouth full as he avoided burning his tongue even further.

Ivelisse was quite excited for another club meeting, especially since a bonfire sounded like a fun idea. Although that would likely mean all of her clothes would smell like smoke at the end of the year. And so would her hair. Either way, she just hoped it would be fun enough to be worth it. Ive hung back when the club leaders spoke. She didn't really know them, nor did she care much that they were graduating. The Heta president had seemed nice though and she was sure there were plenty of people that did know her. Once they were done talking she looked around, unable to suppress a laugh when she noticed Caleb almost burn his mouth on a marshmallow. "You did not just do that." @Caleb Thorne
