Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation ceremony has concluded.

Delilah was feeling a whirlwind of emotions as she entered the great hall for the graduation ceremony. There had been a part of her that wondered if Simon would even bother to make sure she and Caleb could even attend. She had a firm grip on her little brother's shoulder as she guided them to their seats. The last thing she needed was to loose track of him in this crowd. She wondered if she'd see Brooke since her sister was graduating as well. She had tried to find her parents but couldn't seem to find them anywhere. Nervously she chewed on her lip, hoping they wouldn't be too mad that she couldn't find them. There was a small chance they hadn't been able to come. She pushed the thought away quickly. Even if Simon hadn't gotten the best grades or made prefect or any of the other things their father cared about they wouldn't just not come. Her thoughts were thankfully interrupted when she saw Simon look over at them and stuck out his tongue. She rolled her eyes dramatically. Of course he would use this time to be obnoxious, and she had to elbow Caleb to keep him quiet. The ceremony quickly started and the head people both gave good speeches. She watched patiently as most of the seventh year class walked before her brother. She made sure to clap and cheer when Simon was finally called and she was hit with a sudden sadness. She had been so preoccupied with her own drama all year that she hadn't even considered what it would be like to be at school with out her brother. It wasn't like they had been close but just knowing he was around had comforted her some. Now she was oldest and it was a funny feeling after always being in second place.

Caleb didn't really want to go to the stupid graduation ceremony but it appeared he didn't have much of a choice. He tried a few time to slip away but Lila was too quick and held on to his shoulder as they navigated the crowd until they found some empty seats. He hoped Rene would show up and make this whole thing at least tolerable. He was convinced Simon didn't even want him here and he would be perfectly happy to make that happen. He did spot his brother in the sea of graduates and broke out into a fit of giggles when he stuck his tongue at him. It was time's like these he started to consider that his brother wasn't awful all of the time, just mostly. Unfortunately Caleb's chances for escape went from low to nonexistent as the ceremony started. It wasn't until that moment that he realized he hadn't seen his parents anywhere. He didn't bother to pretend to listen to the speeches and instead found himself staring at the enchanted ceiling until it was time for the names to be called. He had hoped it would be more interesting but was quickly disappointed. When it was finally Simon's turn he clapped halfheartedly and was glad he would be gone next year. Being in the same house as his brother had been a pain and he was looking forward to having it all to himself. Thankfully it wasn't much longer he had to sit still and when it was over he shot out of his seat before Lila could stop him and went out side to see his friends, and maybe find their parents while he was at it.

-godmod approved-

Lily could hardly believe she was back here. With Rose's hand in hers, she walked back into the Great Hall. It was an odd feeling, and she felt empty without Lars or Elliot by her side. She realized in that moment that this offered a bit of closer. The castle she had missed so dearly was just an empty structure. Being here without Lars, too tall and covered in paint and trying to duck behind every statue, or Elliot, so warm and sure and anxious by her side, it really meant nothing. She missed Jasper in that moment, remembering his easy smile and his knack for trouble and his silly humor.

Almost as if her thoughts had summoned him, she was delighted to spot the boy- or rather, the man, standing in the crowd nearby. Lily pulled Rose with her without a thought, immediately moving over to her friend and catching him up in a surprise hug. The ceremony started shortly after, and Lily settled in between her sister and her friend. She smiled warmly, clapping for both Ren and Emily as they crossed the stage. She knew she would return next year for Rose, and decided in that moment to try and bring Lars with her, thinking Iris would most likely invite her brother.

Rose was both a bit relieved and a bit melancholy that Ren was graduating. Not that she'd really miss him- she was glad to have the school to herself, but also sad that this meant she only had one more year with Iris staying so close to her. They really needed to talk about the future. Rose couldn't imagine her life without Iris in it, and she only hoped the redhead might feel the same. For now though, Rose was content to be with Lily again, and stuck close to her sister. She was slightly annoyed when Jasper butted in on their sister time, but she was working on her anger issues with the school counsellor, somewhat successfully. She gave the man a small smile and took Lily's hand again as she sat down, barely paying attention to the graduation itself.

Landon always enjoyed attending the graduation ceremonies. Last year had been a sad one as his niece and newly adopted daughter had graduated, but now this year Georgiana’s niece was graduating, and Landon was happy to be there to support her. Landon had never spoken much to Hattie before, but he knew that she was a good student, and so it was sad to see another good student go. The man sat with the other professors and listened to the Head People’s speeches as the ceremony began. They were definitely good choices for Head People, and Landon agreed that they both did such a good job working together. Then it was time for the graduating class to take their diplomas, and Landon clapped a little harder for Sam, Padme, Amy and Ireland who were all his Hufflepuff students. They had all done such a great job at Hogwarts and Landon wished them all the best. Soon enough, the ceremony had ended, and Landon made sure to congratulate most of them individually. He was happy to have been part of all of their schooling.

Jefferson couldn't believe that he was here. His daughter was graduating. His little girl. His nephew was also graduating and he was proud of them both. Time went past quickly. And it wasn't going to be that long until he was going to be back here for his son's graduation. He was glad and grateful that Samantha had invited him for her graduation. When entering the great hall with his eldest son, he took a seat along with the other guests that had been invited. He looked around for his daughter, though it had taken a wee while until he eventually found her through the crowds of many guests and graduates, and sent her a wave and an encouraging smile. The ceremony had begun and he had quite enjoyed the speeches that the head people had given. It wasn't long till it was the graduates turn to walk across the stage and receive their diploma. Jeff cheered and clapped loudly for his daughter and his nephew, they really grow up so fast.

Maverick was still a bit unsure of why exactly Jarica invited him but she knew that there was no way that he could miss it. After all, he promised to be there and here he was. Walking into the Hogwarts for the first time as he moved to New Zealand not so long ago. The ceremony had begun and Mav watched Jarica all the time, not really focusing on other People. After all, she was kind of his girl, so he didn't watch other people so much, tho, he was pretty invested in head People's speech. Then he loudly clapped for Jarica and couldn't wait to see Jarica closer to him, he wanted to take her to the restaurant to celebrate this all.

Two decades. Jeremy marveled at the fact it had been that long and a bit more since he'd last set foot in the castle. His eyes wandered everywhere taking in the similarities and differences in the school. It all looked much smaller than he'd remembered, at least until he stepped into the great hall. That space was just as grand as he'd remembered it. Making sure to save a seat for Georgie, Jeremy took his. He was more than ready to watch his daughter graduate. His heart was already filled with pride and he smiled as he spotted her up front seated with her class. She turned and waved just then, and he waved back just as eagerly. Jeremy couldn't wait to see what she chose to do with her future. It wasn't going to be following in his footsteps, but he was happy that he'd raised a young woman comfortable enough to blaze her own trails.

The ceremony itself was lovely, the speeches full of talk of friendship. Jeremy still had friends from his school days and hoped that the teens here would have the same luck. As Hattie was finally called to cross the stage, Jeremy clapped loudly. He was happy for Hattie and waited until she was well off the stage to slip his eye glasses off and wipe his eye with fabric at his elbow. Putting his glasses back on, Jeremy watched the remainder of the students as they crossed the stage. He was happy to finally get up as it ended, eager to see his daughter and congratulate her and her friends.

While Melanie had never set foot in this version of Hogwarts, she still felt a strange and overwhelming sense of nostalgia as she entered the castle. It was a bittersweet feeling, bringing her back to her own terrible time at school and her decision to drop out after her sixth year. The way it had torn their already fragile family apart. But she had made the best of things, and now here her son was graduating. She felt immensely proud. Melanie would be lying if she said she hadn't been worried about Eric. He was just too much like her, and she had worried history would repeat itself. But he had done it, today he would receive his diploma.

She had been surprised when Eric had written her to tell her that he had also invited her brother to graduation. He had made it clear it wasn't because he liked James, but he hadn't wanted her to be alone. It was a sweet gesture, and a huge step for Eric. Melanie was going to smother him in kisses the moment she could, no matter if it embarrassed him in front of his classmates. She found a seat with James and waited for the ceremony to start. The headmistress spoke to them and then the head boy and girl also gave their speech. It was sweet, if a bit awkward. There seemed to be some sort of romance between them, which she supposed was cute. But then it was finally time for names to be called. When Eric's name was called and he walked up to grab his diploma, Melanie couldn't help herself. "Woo!" She called as she clapped, feeling like she might burst from pride.

Graduation always made Maria melancholy, even when none of her own children were present for the ceremony. It would only be a short couple of years before she was here to watch Finn take his first steps into the adult world, after all. She listened as the head people spoke, clapping for each one in turn before settling in to watch the graduates step up one at a time. She had seen several of them in her office over the course of their time at Hogwarts, and she hoped going forward would mean new, exciting things for all of them.

Graduation ceremonies seemed to come around faster and faster as the years ticked by. Kahurangi could have sworn it had only been a few months since she had last watched a graduating class cross that stage, but here she was yet again. She listened to the head people's speeches with a fond smile, clapping particularly loud for Adorah. The Ravenclaws graduating this year were a wonderful batch of students she had thoroughly enjoyed having in her house, and she knew she would miss them all deeply. Once the students began to cross the stage she clapped for all of them in turn, hoping for nothing but the best in their futures.

This wasn't the first graduation ceremony Connor had attended, but it felt different, there was no doubt of that. Today, Eric was graduating, and next year it would be Connor's own turn. As proud as he was of his brother, there was a small part of Connor that was still surprised Eric had managed to make it through his time at Hogwarts without getting expelled. But here he was, sitting in the audience at Eric's graduation. Glancing across the room Connor could see his mum, and though it was bizarre seeing her at Hogwarts,he gave her a small smile before turning his attention back to the stage. He listened as Adorah and Noel gave their speeches, wondering what would be said at his own graduation. He couldn't imagine what that was going to feel like, and just the thought sent a shiver down his spine. He clapped as the graduates began to take to the stage, clapping a little louder for Eric, Minnie, Amy, and Samantha as they took their turns. They were really leaving, and next year Connor would be one of the oldest students, facing his own graduation before he even knew it.

Sia was trying (and likely failing) to keep her gawking under control. She'd heard plenty of Sully and now René's gushing about their school, but it was a whole other experience actually seeing it with her own eyes. The only thing keeping her from completely losing it was her equally baffled parents with her and the awareness that today was meant to be about Sully. She still couldn't help the resurgance of jealousy that always arose when she experienced something so overtly magical, aware that René and Sully got to see this sort of thing every day, curling her hand into a tight fist on her leg as she settled into her seat to watch the speeches take place. All things considered, the decor and location obviously aside, the rest of the preceedings were almost reassuringly mundane, and by the time Sully was taking his turn to walk across the stage, Sia had felt her disquiet retreat back and she could feel appropriately proud of her idiot brother finally finishing school. It was weird to imagine it had only been a few years since October had been here doing the exact same thing and Sia couldn't help but wonder as the ceremony wrapped up if she could manage to look around for any trace of October's past here around the school without getting eaten by a suit of armour or something.

Time ran too fast that I didn't even want to believe it and had a desire to turn back time, even a little bit. Robert did not know if his eldest daughter would be on Jarica's graduation, but had talked to him and the two agreed that they would go to Hogwarts separately. He had bought a gift for his younger daughter to give later. Robert arrived a little too fast, but took the best place to see his daughter when she received her graduation certificate. He was very proud of his youngest daughter @Jarica Ashley.

Juniper was excited to attend graduation and see Adorah do so well on her speech, even if her parents were decidely being jerks about the whole thing. She never understood what their hang-up was with Adorah and at the same time were okay (or at least pretended to be) with herself attending school. Maybe it was because she was the baby and Adorah was a little bit ahead, but everytime she brought it up to her dad, it made the house tense. Thankfully, she only had a year left and then would head off somewhere into the scary world herself.

Sitting beside a few of her sisters who thankfully came, she listened intently to Adorah's speech, even though she'd already heard it about 25 times. The hiccup at the end made her snicker, as her sister was rather smitten with Noel. Juniper thought they'd make a cute couple, but she knew that Adorah was headed into some potentially crazy directions after graduation. As the students passed the stage, she cheered for many, feeling a little awkward when it came to Simon but decided to keep up the momentum. As Adorah stepped across, she squealed with delight, standing up and making a scene before taking her seat again. It was no surprise Michael tried to leave with an outright bang, and one of her sisters giggled at the boy. "I think he's single," she winked, before turning her attention back to the stage.

It had been a nice surprise to be invited by Jarica to graduation. His cousin Shale was graduating too, though he hadn't expected an invite from her. He knew quite a few people from the graduating year, though, which made it pretty fun to see. It felt strange to think it had already been a year since he'd last been at Hogwarts. It had really flown by. Jasper was working hard on his auror training and often came home exhausted, but he knew it was worth it.

He was happily surprised to see Lily at graduation. He gave her a hug. He had vaguely known her brother was in this year, but he had forgotten he would graduate this year. He sat with lily to watch the ceremony, clapping for everyone but a bit louder for Jarica. She had invited him, after all.

Abian couldn't believe it had been two years since his own graduation, though he also felt like he had been a healer in trainer forever now. He really loved his work, but it was a lot. He couldn't wait to be done studying. He smiled as he took a seat between the other guests, seeing a few familiar faces. He recognized a lot of the graduating students as well, as Aisa's year was fairly familiar to him. He saw his sister, looking unimpressed as always. He wondered how she was feeling, as she wasn't really showing any emotion. He couldn't wait to talk to her, but he'd have to sit through the ceremony first. He listened to headmistress and then the head boy and head girl, clapping for all of them politely. He clapped a lot louder when his sister moved on the stage to accept her diploma, though. He was feeling immensely proud of her.

René was a jumble of emotions, trying to stop his leg from bouncing as the speeches started for the ceremony. He knew he'd be seeing his parents soon, but it still felt like he was getting a sneak peek or something getting to be invited to graduation and see them, not mention not a lot of other younger students were allowed in either. He grinned briefly at Caleb next to him, quietly pleased he was here and Louis wasn't, it would be something cool they could talk about later on the train home. As cool as it all was though, René couldn't help the pang of sadness as the head people's speeches ended and names started being called. Besides Amy, Simon, and some of Sully's friends, René didn't really know a lot of the seventh years that well, but there was no getting around the realization that Sully wouldn't be at school again next year. Hogwarts had been terrifying and thrilling all in equal measure the past two years, but René had always had Sully to fall back on. Now it'd just be him all on his own, which was both exciting and daunting at the same time. Not to mention Sully's reputation looming with only René left to shoulder it all. It was pretty scary, but for now, René did his best to clap and cheer as Sully took to the stage, unable to help share his brother's grin as he stepped away with his diploma.

Nicole had been to graduation last year, not wanting to miss out on the privelege of her new prefect badge then, but something about this year made it hit that much harder. It was probably because she was closer with the students graduating this year, or the growing awareness that her own graduation wasn't that far off either. It was a bit much to think about, Nicole still felt like a lost first year half the time, though it was hard to ignore how more and more younger students seemed to fill the halls each day as well. She twisted her hands in her lap as Adorah and Noel took to the stage, biting her smile and smiling fondly at them both as they began their speeches, trying to ignore the pangs of jealousy at how endearing Noel was about Adorah. She was sure the feeling had everything to do with how she hoped that would be her and Ajax next year, as unlikely as the idea seemed of her getting headgirl, and nothing to do with her having kissed Noel before. Or, she thought fervently, that today truly signaled the end of whatever unspoken thing she and Adorah had over the past year or so. Moving to twine her fingers with Ajax's instead, Nicole refocused herself on the ceremony as the seventh years walked the stage, making sure to clap politely for everyone in equal measure (except perhaps Eric), though her mind still wandered to Adorah as the older girl walked the stage last.

Angel would have never have guessed as much a few years ago, but over the years he'd found himself getting rather attached to his students these days. He definitely wasn't at cry at graduation levels, but he still liked to make an appearance to wish the seventh years off. Besides, if they made it this far without flunking a NEWT class or getting eaten by the snargaluffs Angel figured he could put in the effort to talk to some parents and clap as his students said their last farewells. The head girl and boys' speeches were also quite sweet and Angel couldn't help but share a grin with some of his coworkers at their obvious relationship. There was something to be said about life at a school that kept things from getting to boring at least, something which was confirmed when Michael Newton especially decided to finish off his schooling career with a bang. Angel didn't like to pick favorites, but some students were definitely more interesting than others, and some again he would not miss being lose in the castle and grounds that was for sure.

Lucas had almost forgotten prefects were invited to graduation, until one of the other prefects mentioned it. He felt a little awkward sitting here, as he didn't really know any of the graduating kids all that well. But it was still pretty neat to see how this went. The headmistress gave a speech, then the head boy and girl followed. Lucas glanced at Connor, wondering if he was doing okay with his brother graduating. He was still kind of mad at Connor, but he also didn't like the idea of him being sad. Then it was time for everyone to get their diploma. Lucas clapped politely for each one. He jumped slightly at what Michael did. He at least ended his time at Hogwarts with a bang, Lucas knew he would never be that daring.

Augustus felt a bit out of place here at graduation. He remembered the twin's graduation years ago, but it was a bit different now. He was older and his own graduation was looming. It felt like ages ago that the twins were even at Hogwarts. He didn't really miss them, he didn't want to imagine what they had to say about Addison. They could be pretty mean. The boy sat with the other prefects, listening to the speeches and to the names being called. He clapped politely but was already looking forward to leaving and going to his dorm.

Poppy felt a little strange attending graduation this year. After all it would be the last one she went to as a guest. She studied the seventh years as they waited for the ceremony to begin and tried to imagine herself sitting there instead. It made her stomach to an uncomfortable nervous flip and she quickly shook her head. Soon the Headmistress got up to start the ceremony and she smiled and clapped politely for both Adorah and Noel. Next it was time for all of the names to be called and clapped for each one but made sure to be a little louder as Shale's name was called. It hurt more than she expected to see the other girl graduate. It felt like they were just starting to get to know each other and now they likely wouldn't see each other again, at least for a while.

Surprised was perhaps an understatement for how James felt about being invited to his oldest nephew's graduation. Though to his relief Connor had warmed up to the family somewhat, James was dismayed that Eric seemed to have held onto his dislike. Although it was understandable, James had hoped more could be done to repair their family in his eyes. So Eric reaching out in this way gave him a lot of hope. He sat with Melanie in the audience, feeling strange being back here so soon after Alice's graduation. He hadn't expected to see this hall again until Lucy was graduating, and James would be well and truly an old man by then.

He listened to the head people's speeches, clapping politely after each one. Were these Eric's friends? He still knew so little about his nephews, a pang striking James again as he wished desperately that he had been there. Still, there was nothing to be gained dwelling on past mistakes. All he could do was be here now. He clapped loudly when Eric's turn to take the stage came, marvelling at how much of Melanie he saw in the boy. James' inaction had robbed Melanie of her own graduation, but at least they were here now, and this felt like a step towards fixing things.
