Professor Kalif Styx conjured the number of tables and recalled who was who. He gave a small notice for the leaders to get to their tables for an hour prior to the fair itself so that they could decorate the tables themselves or do whatever it was they wanted with it. He preferred simple, but that was different. Kalif didn’t get involved with a lot of the clubs except SDA when he would assist with the duels from time to time. Only when he felt like it. He watched as the leaders of the clubs got ready. It wasn’t long until the crowd would grow and grow. The Slytherin Head of House walked toward the outskirts of the fair, conjured a chair, and sat down. Right. Why did he bother with doing things like this again? Oh yeah, it was part of his job.

The club fair was always one of the messiest parts of the year, but Nell was prepared as ever. She had stacks of previous issues of the Monthly, as well as a little bowl of sweets she had picked up in the holidays, and she was ready for the chaos to begin. Making a beeline for her table, she felt a little nostalgic at the realisation that this would be her last club fair at Hogwarts, humming softly to herself as she set the table up with plenty of things to entice new members, and sign up sheets for them to join the club.

Elliot had felt a bit odd walking through the Entrance hall with his arms full of flowers but, one of the new perks of his head boy badge he'd discovered, was that most people rarely stopped to actually question what he was doing, which was rather freeing. He'd set up the Wild Patch table as it usually was, festooned with flowers and a sign up sheet, though he felt weirdly lop-sided not having William or anyone else there to help this year. Along with their usual flower crowns and a selection of some of the potted plants a few of their members had been cultivating, Elliot had also set up a few rows of succulent leaves that had fallen off in the greenhouse, already tucked in small pots of their own ready to propagate with a little extra attention from anyone who wanted one. He gave Nell a small wave when he saw her set up at the HM table before grabbing a flower grown for himself and settling behind the table.

Simon couldn't believe he had beat Noel to the Club Fair but he took a deep breath and began to set up the Brotherhood table. If he was being honest he wasn't sure what Abian was thinking by making him Co-President but it was too late to do anything about it now. He had the position and he wasn't about to fail now and prove any of the people doubting him right. He stopped short when he spotted Nell and considered if he should wave to her, but by the this brain started functioning again the pause was beyond awkward so he decided to ignore her completely and get to work. He kept the set up simple, not want to deviate from tradition too much and set out some sweets and a sign up list. He made sure the banner was perfectly center on the table and carefully arranged the photos of past events so they were angled out just so. Once he was done Simon took a deep breath and kept his eye out for Noel hoping he would show up soon and not leave him to talk to the first years all on his own. That sounded like torture. But for now he put on his most pleasant smile and waited.

Elara had been decently busy with her two clubs in the previous year, but she had still found more she was interested in joining. She definitely wanted to stay in Heta Omega and the Wild Patch, as they were really fun. But there was also the possibility of being a writer - something Elara had never even considered but thought might be fun. She'd seen a few muggle movies about school newspapers and thought that the hustle and bustle would be right up her alley in terms of missing the performing life. Making her way over to the Hogwarts Monthly table, she gave a wave to the girl as she chipperly introduced herself. "Hi, I'd like to join! What do we do? Sign up, or do we have to audition?" @Nell Wright

Nell beamed at the first girl to approach her table, shaking her head cheerfully. "Nope, just sign your name on the list here and you'll be on board!" She said brightly. "Feel free to help yourself to lollies too!"
@Elara Chatelain

Elara was excited that joining the newspaper was so simple, but then she was also worried that it meant the quality wasn't as good. At the same time, she had read the papers last year and really enjoyed them. Writing down her name, she took a blue lolly and popped it in her mouth. "Thanks!" she said to the girl and meandered around for a bit before deciding that she'd wait at least another year before joining another club.

Seraphina couldn't believe she had let Jenna convince her to sign-up for the stupids girl only club. She was sure it was going to be full of preppy, pretty girls, and while she didn't mind that with Jenna, she was sure it would be an issue with everyone else. The Gryffindor didn't think she'd quite fit in, but if it meant Jenna would stop asking her about it, she figured she could at least put her name down. She didn't have to actually go to any meetings. Seraphina walked up to the table and noticed that one of the Gryffindor prefects was standing there. "Uh, I'm supposed to put my name down somewhere." @Cyzarine Haden

Zachariah had read something about clubs when he was in his common room. With the hopes of something being interesting enough to keep him busy this year. He walked around looking at the people and tables. Only one seemed to get his attention enough for him to approach the person beside it. "Hi. What's with all the plants?" Zachariah asked. He hoped it didn't sound rude because he was genuinely curious about it. He observed one of the leaves stuck in the sand as he waited for a response from the person.

@Elliot Briar

"Uh hey," Elliot said when a younger student approached the table, motioning a bit pointlessly to the plants around him. "The club grew them. Or most of them. I did conjure a few of the flowers," he admitted sheepishly. They were just getting into Spring and a few of the later bloomers hadn't sprouted just yet. "If you're interested in plants or the outdoors, the Wild Patch is all about caring for and embracing nature," he said, hoping that hadn't come across as dorky as it felt. @Zachariah Ezekiel King

Zachariah nodded as he listened. It sounded really interesting to him although he had never really looked after a plant before. "Can I take one?" Zachariah asked. He was hoping he was capable of looking after a plant. The only thing he really looked after was his sister's cat but it was very little. He had almost completely skipped over the signing up part. When the boy mentioned the name of the club Zachariah smiled awkwardly remembering why he had come down from the common room. "Oh and ahh can I sign up of course." Zachariah added a bit embarrassed.

Elliot was relieved the boy seemed interested in the plants, nodding at his question. "Sure, they're pretty easy to care for, you only need to water it every two weeks or so," he said, smiling when he asked to sign up as well. "Yeah, just put your name on the list and we'll see you at the Patch later," he said, sliding the sign up sheet over. @Zachariah Ezekiel King

Zachariah signed his name on the sheet and grabbed one of the plants. With a smile, he nodded his head slightly as a goodbye and walked away from the table. He lingered around a bit more observing the other tables. Deciding one of these clubs was good enough he left to put his newly acquired plant in his dorm.

Cyzarine had brought cupcakes and cookies with her this time around. She had a big Heta omega banner behind her and plenty of pictures of the heta omega events. She wasn't standing there very long when she was approached by a younger gryffindor girl, "Sure, just stick your name here. Have a muffin or cookie!" she handed her a sign up sheet and hoped they would get a lot of new names to the Heta omega club. Cyzarine thought that the sisterhood was very exciting.

Ajaccio knew that accio had a trickier time at the club fair, they really didn't accept many members and it was a rather strict joining policy. But as he knew they'd always done he came to the club fair, with pictures and examples of their work. He knew Clifton would be leaving soon so there would be a spot, but even then it would be a tricky thing for any student to join. He was also on the lookout for his replacement eventually. For now, in the great hall, he went to the accio stand, had copies of the yearbook out in front of him and was ready to answer questions about his little club.

It was her last year, but also the first as a real club leader. She had received a note form the headmistresses that her effort in the Arts Club hadn't gone unnoticed. The club was made official and thus Emily was at the club fair with a little stand. She had stuck a pencil and crayon in her bun and on the table she displayed various of the previous projects. The flashcards, baubles and various other projects that the students had made.

On the other end of the table was standing a plate of cookies and cupcakes in the colors of the rainbow, which also suited the club perfectly. You didn't have to be creative to join the club, it was just about having fun. Now it was time to wait for the students to arrive. If students would sign up they would get this cool pencil that was magically enchanted to switch colours, so you would have all colours in one.

Rhys was on a mission at this club fair, wasting no time in marching right over to the Hogwarts Monthly stand. If he wanted to be a journalist like his father then he needed to start somewhere so, with a smile, he turned to the student in charge of the club, "Hello, I would like to sign up please."
@Nell Wright

Just as soon as she had farewelled the first girl, another young boy approached her booth, and Nell once again greeted him with a cheerful smile. "Great!" She said brightly, handing the boy a signup sheet. "Just sign your name here, and you're in!"
@Rhys Garner

After not having signed up for the Heta Omega club last year, Skylar decided to give it a go again this year. She'd enjoyed it during her first year, and was a bit disappointed that she hadn't participated last year. She also decided she'd give the Wild Patch Club a go, after spending some time gardening during the holidays which she'd surprisngly enjoyed. But first up, Heta Omega. Walking up to the stand, she saw one of her dormmates already standing there but was just out of earshot to have heard what she asked the leader. Knowing she'd have to probably repeat the same question, she blushed slightly but asked anyway, "Hey, I'd like to join the Heta Omega Club!" she said with a smile on her face. Noticing the paper Seraphina had just signed, she added, "Should I just add my name here?" hoping that it would save the leader, who she now remembered to be called @Cyzarine Haden from having to explain what she'd have to do to sign up.

Well, that was easy enough. Rhys smiled as he took the pen and quickly scribbled down his name on the list. "Thanks," he offered with a soft smile before he turned, attention quickly being grabbed by an art club. With curiosity he wandered over, peering at the little stand set up. "Is this for all sorts of art stuff?" Because he did tend to have his sketchbook on him at all times. Even now it was tucked under his arm just in case he found some inspiration to sketch.

It was Kiara's second year in Hogwarts and it was also her second year in Heta Omega, but this year she wanted to join another club. She had too much free time and if she was so into arts, then doing something with that perfectly fitted her. "Heey!" Kiara cheerfully smiled at the other girl and then at the younger boy, and then wrote her name down. "Do you need any help?" who knew, maybe the girl needed help to explain something to kids? Anything else, there surely will be a lot of people.

@Emily Underwood

Alexis never thought of joining a club before, so honestly, she didn't know why she came to the fair. She had passed her brother on the way there and he had mentioned something about an art club knowing she loved to draw. She supposed that's what kept her heading towards the fair to begin with. When she got there she noticed a few girls from her class at one table. Alexis hoped that was not the sign-up place for the art club as she walked around. With a sigh of relief, she walked up to the table that seemed to be the one she was looking for. "Hi. Is this where I can sign up for the Art club?" Alexis asked with a smile. She then noticed a younger boy ask a similar question.

@Emily Underwood

Emily was excited and when she saw everyone walking in she knew it was real. She had made it as an official club leader. Emily looked around and when a boy walked over. Soon a girl joined the bunch and Emily started to explain about her club. ‘’Yes, everything that is art’’ Emily said happily ‘’We usually have multiple ways to work at our activities so there should be suitable medium for everyone.’’ Emily looked at the sketchbook the boy was carrying. ‘’Well eyeing at your sketchbook this club is probably great for you’’ She smiled making a note to ask the boy about when she had more time. ‘’If you two want to sign up you can grab one of the enchanted pencils, sign you name up on the list and you can even keep the pencil afterwards’’ Emily was excited and every now and them she eyed her boyfriend Tyler who was promoting his club.’The pencil changes colour so don’t be spooked if it changes’’ Emily said while someone else walked over. @Alexis Rodes King @Rhys Garner

‘’Well, if you really want to help, you can help with promoting our club’’ Emily said to Kiara. @Kiara Wood

Alexis smiled. Talking about art made her want to draw. So not wasting any more time Alexis took one of the pencils and signed her name. The fact that she could keep the pencil was even better. "Thank you." Alexis said and walked away. She planned on seeing how the pencil worked with her enchanted drawing pad. Alexis didn't linger in the courtyard any longer, after all, she had already done what she went there for.

He supposed a club about art wouldn't be too bad, even if he had only been planning on signing up for the newsletter. Though when the girl mentioned the sketchbook under his arm, Rhys did feel a little defensive over it, hugging it tighter to himself. But he nodded, reaching to take one of the strange color changing pencils before jotting his name down on the club list. But with two clubs now under his belt he didn't think he needed or wanted, to join anymore so simply offered a small smile before making his escape from the courtyard.
