Open The Stands

Nicole laughed when she heard a younger Slytherin hollering at the team, clapping her hands at the enthusiasm and wishing she'd had the gall to be so vocal. She held her breath as Hufflepuff took posession of the quaffle, cheering again when their keeper managed to block it. Slytherin took the quaffle next and Nicole tore her eyes away from the game to greet Ajax, happy to see him even if his camera made her feel a little self-conscious. "Ajax! Hi! Are you taking pictures of the game?" She asked, making room for him and tucking some lose hair behind her ears. "You can sit with us as long as you're cheering for Slytherin," She said with a grin. @Ajaccio Skey

Brooke practically knew her sister's anti-quidditch rant by heart now, but she wasn't about to let it stop her from enjoying one of the first major school events this year. Sporting a little Slytherin pennant, Brooke made her way into the stands, enjoying the excited atmosphere as she looked for a good spot. Hearing a familiar accented voice cheering for Slytherin, Brooke was able to spot Liusaidh without too much trouble, sliding into an available spot by her with a smile and wave hello. "Come on, Slytherin!" She cheered, though no where near as loud as Liusaidh as the Slytherin seeker shot off after Huffelpuff's. She couldn't see the snitch herself, but she hoped their seeker would be faster in a toe to toe chase. @Liusaidh Fergusson

Alison was excited to be watching her first Quidditch game at Hogwarts and while her house wasn't playing she was firmly behind one team. She dressed in neutral colours but around her neck she wore the green and silver Slytherin scarf she had borrowed from Luna so she could support her cousin from the sidelines. Alison took a seat in the stands and eagerly watched as the match unfolded. "Go Luna!"

Kas had been watching the seekers closely, the pair zipping across neck and neck for awhile even as Kas knew distantly Hufflepuff had managed to score. It was so close though and Kas even lept to his feet as their seeker was smacked by a well aimed bludger and Slytherin got the lead. He didn't even noticed he'd clutched a hand in his hair until he was dragged it out in disappointment as the Slytherin seeker managed to nab the snitch. He'd just turned to complain to Lucas when there was another commotion and suddenly both seekers were in the dirt. That had to hurt. "And that, Lucas, is why playing seeker is bad for your health," He said, glumly, dropping back into his seat.

Nikko looked over at the older Slytherin girl Nicole greeted, and he smiled faintly at her but quickly returned his attention to the pitch after that. But it felt like only a second later when someone else greeted Nicole. This time it was a boy and Nikko waved slowly and shook his head when he asked if they minded if he joined them. But he was also pretty sure Ajax wasn’t really asking for Nikko’s permission. There was a moment of dead air before Nikko blurted out an introduction before going back to watching the game. It was now clear that Nicole seemed to be much more popular then he realized. The game was pretty intense and Nikko found himself nearly holding his breath as the seekers raced to catch the snitch, and he let out an audible ‘oof’ when they collided.

Freya liked showing up to Quidditch games, but showing up on time would be too predicable and she had cats to pet while their owners were watching the game. It had nothing to do with Connor being on the team and the utter terror that he'd injure himself, which she could ignore if she avoided attending. But if he did get to play, Freya wanted to be there just in case. She'd decided against dressing up for this game, but had discovered that her oversized sweatshirt made a good hiding place for felines and had brought a little black one up to the stands with her after it wouldn't stop following her. She found Kas and Lucas and squished into a seat between them, just in time to see the bludger make impact. "Somebody's going to need a get well card," she grimaced. @Kasim Safir @Lucas Fletcher

Lars couldn't deny that the entire game, he was only focused on the two seekers. Elliot against Blake, his ex against his biggest enemy. Lars couldn't tear his eyes away from the two as they raced around the pitch, almost shoulder to shoulder. It was intense, and Lars was leaning forward to get a better look. When the bludger came and hit Elliot, his hand flew to his mouth and he watched in horror, an expression that didn't change as the rest of the game unfolded and Blake caught the snitch right before they bumped into each other and fell. It wasn't easy to tell from here, but Lars could see Elliot was in a lot of pain. Blake looked hurt too, and Lars felt the strange urge to run onto the pitch to see if he could help either of them. But not only was he too far away, there was nothing he could do. He felt a sickening lurch in his stomach as he realized he leaned a bit too far and nearly toppled into the row of spectators below, but he leaned back in time. His gaze moved to the two boys on the field again, concern clear on his face.

Ajaccio smiled at the pair as Nicole noted the camera, "I'm on official Accio business," he told them both proudly. Before then gesturing to the green beanie he was wearing. "Slytherin of course," he smiled as he took a seat, the boy, Nikko introduced himself quickly, "You're in Gryffindor right? I think you share a dorm with my brother, Lumio?" But before he could really focus on a response the teen's attention was dragged to the game, where the seekers seemed locked in battle until eventually Slytherin appear glorious with the snitch. "WOW," he couldn't help but say, "GO SLYTHERIN!" He cheered happily.
@Nikko Blackwood @Nicole Fisk

Padme had suggested to Jace that they go to the quidditch game, but she hadn't explicitly stated which of the teams she would support. She had loyalty to hufflepuff of course, but she wouldn't mind if Slytherin won. She'd found a spot for her and Jace, and sat with him during the game keeping up light conversation about the sport in front of them. "Wow," she couldn't help but say as the seekers went for the snitch, she was always so impressed with the playing. Not something she could do herself, "Well, Congrats Jace, slytherin have done it!" she knew that Jace hadn't done anything, but he was in the house and without a team to congratulate she had to say to him.

Liusaidh smiled at the girl who joined her, Brooke. She was a nice enough person, Liusaidh didn't know her particularly well, but then again she didn't know any of the girls particularly well and she didn't need to know any of them particularly well, but she was supporting Slytherin as she should so Liusaidh didn't much care. "GO SLYTHERIN!" Liusaidh would drive herself horse if she kept screaming as loudly as she was. But it it didn't go on very long, since Slytherin of course came out victorious. "YASSSSSS!" she screamed excitedly. Houses didn't mean much to her, but it was fun to win. When she was done cheering, Liusaidh turned to brooke and smiled, "That wis amazin',"

Minnie watched with baited breath as the two seekers dove for the snitch. She knew that being a seeker was dangerous, she ended up injured more times than not. She'd been removed from two games because of bludgers. But she was pleased when it didn't last too long and the game was at an end. Blake Irons was an excellent seeker she knew and Elliot was too, just unlucky. The teen was nervous about the game that she would have to lead against Gryffindor. Gryffindor had a good seeker too. She was the weakest seeker, but there was so much riding on her doing well in the upcoming game, she had to try her best. Her young team needed her to be the best seeker, even if in her heart of hearts she knew she wasn't. Minnie reached up to the snitch necklace and let her fingers run over it, letting the cheering for slytherin quiet her anxious mind.

Giselle had been waiting for this moment. Her house played against Hufflepuff but she was not here to cheer for her house she was here to say what she wanted. She made a big sign with '' Quidditch Kills'' and one with '' Quidditch is dangerous!'' And both had carried it with her. When the game started she looked for a moment. But when the first bludger hit someone she just thought of her mother. This was too crazy this sport, it was dangerous! Giselle noticed Lius and rolled her eyes as she heard her yelling. Also she saw Brooke. Giselle already changed her mind if they liked quidditch she was not liking them anymore. She went standing and had brought an mega phone, an muggle thingy she had gotten from her mother once. And this would come in handy. She put the sign with '' Quidditch is dangerous'' into the air and yelled. '' STOP BEATERS! STOP QUIDDITCH!'' Giselle looked angry. Several people got hit by bludgers. '' THIS IS NOT FUN. THIS IS TORTURE!'' Giselle than continued she did not care what people thought. Than she put the other sign down and took the '' Quidditch Kills'' sign in the air. She stepped on the bench and hold the sign into the other way to the players and whatever who would see it. '' STUPID BEATERS! GO AND HIT YOURSELF! YOU ARE DANGEROUS!'' Giselle than yelled and felt how angry she was. This was the first time she actually could show her anger in an direct game and seeing beaters play. '' QUIDDITCH KILLS! '' Giselle than yelled again. She didn't even notice Slytherin winning, but saw the two seekers flying to eachother. That seemed painfull. She than figured not only beaters were the problem but the whole sport.

Skylar ended up watching the house match alone, though she didn't care, she was so invested in it anyway she wouldn't have even had time to talk to any of her friends. At the start she mostly watched and occasionally yelled out encouragement for Hufflepuff, and tried to understand what was happening a bit better, it was all so fast! After a while, she finallly understood what was going on and moved on to watching the individual players and how the flew and played, mostly the chasers, since that was her dream position, but she watched the others as well to get a feel for how they all played as a team. However, she was soon interreupted by the Hufflepuff seeker suddenly accelerating towards what she assumed was the snitch, and she forgot all about analysing the game and instead jumped to her feet and started yelling, "GO HUFFLEPUFF!! YOU GOT THIS!!!" at the top of her lungs, even though she knew the Hufflepuff seeker wouldn't hear her, it felt good to get into the spirit anyway. She watched with baited breath broken up with the occasional screams of encouragement as to who would catch the snitch first, it definitely seemed like Hufflepuff would, but at the last possible second a bludger came careening towards the Hufflepuff seeker, bashing into him with what looked like considerable force, and Skylar had to let out a grimace, for she was sure that must have been incredibly painful! After that it was only a few seconds until the game ended with the Slytherin seeker catching the snitch, and just as Skylar was about to let out a yell of disappointment, she saw the two seekers collide in mid air and tumble to the ground, her heart caught in her throat, that looked painful! Her suspicions were confirmed as she saw the two seekers grimacing in pain, and she wanted to help, but knew she couldn't so she instead watched what would happen to them for a while, before deciding to give up and return back to the dormitories, eager to tell her friends who hadn't come to the match how it went. Oh, and also finish up her Defense Against the Dark Arts assignment. Great. With the lurking reminder of the assignment due soon, Skylar left with a slightly dampened mood, but still thrilled with having been to her first proper Quidditch match. She couldn't wait for the next one!

Nicole was happy Ajax was here to cheer on Slytherin, wanting to keep chatting with him and congratulate him on the Accio thing, but the game out on the pitch turned tense and Nicole had to wait with bated breath as the seekers raced across the pitch. It was so close until Slytherin was able to hit the Hufflepuff seeker with a bludger and then it was all over. Nicole cheered as Blake held up the snitch, but she had to slap her hands to her face as the seekers collided, tumbling to the ground. "Oh no.. do you think they're okay?" She said, fretting as the ref called the game and summoned out stretchers. There wasn't much point lingering to watch, so Nicole tried to let the victory stay in her mind and not the painful looking aftermath as everyone began leaving the stands.

Brooke had to find Liusaidh enthusiasm amusing, cheering at a more sustainable volume along side her roommate as the game progressed. There was a close chase between the two seekers and Brooke clapped enthusiastically as the Slytherin seeker managed to come out on top. There was an unfortunate tumble immediately after though and Brooke wondered if it had been on purpose. Hufflepuff didn't seem like the type to be very vengeful, but competition made people do crazy things. "Quite the game," She agreed with Liusaidh as the stands began to empty out. "Is that Rosenberg?" Brooke said, pausing picking her way through the stands when she heard their other roommate yelling something about Quidditch and torture through a megaphone. "What is she going on about?" @Liusaidh Fergusson @Giselle Rosenberg

Tilly waved back at the two Hufflepuff boys, grinning, and settled into her seat. She loved everything about the game- the noise, the organized chaos, the rush of colors on the pitch. Tilly joined in, shouting and cheering on Hufflepuff with the rest of her housemates.

Then a Slytherin first year tried her best to ruin the fun with signs and a megaphone. Tilly turned and stared at her openly. Quidditch kills... Seriously? Tilly hollered, "Oh, go hug a Whomping Willow, would you?" but her voice was mostly drowned out in the stands. @Giselle Rosenberg

Ouch. The seekers looked like they were in bad shape. Hufflepuff was in even worse shape, as they'd lost the snitch to Slytherin. Feeling defeated, Tilly stood, groaning to herself. Even though she wasn't on the team and was still learning to fly herself, it was painful to see her house team lose.

Liusaidh's celebrations were momentarily distracted as Brooke spoke, she nodded to the first part and was then brought her attention to Rosenberg, "Aye," Liusaidh had liked Rosenberg but this was helping her opinion of her. She couldn't quite make out what was being said, there was a lot of movement and commotion going on, but she could read the sign that Rosenberg had. Liusaidh knew quidditch could be dangerous....but no more than anything else. "She's being a ninny. But we can stop that," Liusaidh rolled her eyes at the girl, but didn't really stop at that. Instead Liusaidh took out her wand, and pointed it as subtle as she could and cast a trip jinx at rosenberg, hopefully that would get her to stop. It didn't really matter to Liusaidh that it could be pretty dangerous and she would for sure get into trouble for it.

Giselle still holding her mega phone looked around the game was coming to an end it seemed and there were people hurt. This was prove! She didn't understood those professors at school. She actually was glad that Styx had told her he didn't liked Quidditch. Hopefully the man understood her anger towards it. And ofcourse when people knew why she hated the sport perhaps they saw it in a different perspective. But she was not ready to walk around with an photo of her mother who passed away because of this sport. That was too painfull, but if people would not open their eyes she could. Giselle didn't heard her roommates talking she was too busy with yelling in the mega phone. She felt a girl from Hufflepuff looking at her judgemental, but she didn't heard what she said. Giselle looked at her with an angry face.

Giselle saw Lius than who wasn't that far from her. And put up her shoulders, she could roll her eyes all she wanted but Giselle didn't cared. They were stupid. She was stupid now in her opinion. Everyone who was at this game and came for the fun she hated. So that was a big list. But than all of sudden still looking at Lius and shaking her head she noticed her holding her wand and pointing it subtle to her. And Giselle tripped falling with her head on the ground. That hurted. The mega phone next to her falling out of her hands. Giselle was furious. She knew how pain felt, Why were her roommates sooo stupid! Giselle slowly came sitting again feeling at her head. This was gonna be an firm bump. She than looked at Lius. If she was being a chicken with doing this from afar, Giselle was different. She made fists of her hand. '' WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!'' She than yelled angry. Giselle had a very short temper and she could not think clear. She didn't cared of consequences. Giselle than quickly made her way to Lius and pushed her hard. '' Did you have something to say? Say it in my face than?! If you dare.'' She stood before her with her fist towardds Lius if she would try something. But she felt a bit shaky because of the emotions and the fell on her head.

As she was leaving the stands, Tilly saw the Slytherin protestor take a spill; she hadn’t seen the magical source of her fall. Tilly was greatly annoyed by both Hufflepuff’s loss and the girl’s misplaced anger towards Quidditch. That said, she felt bad to see the girl tumble. Tilly approached her with full intentions of helping her up, but then she rose and started screaming at another Slytherin girl.

While there was still noise in the stands, it was at a volume where TIlly could make herself heard this time. “Why don’t you take this out of the stands? Game’s over. You’re going to hurt yourself more than you already have.”

And then the girl collapsed and hit her head. Oof. Bad timing. “She needs to go the Hospital Wing and get her head checked,” Tilly said. Both physically and mentally, she thought to herself.

@Giselle Rosenberg @Liusaidh Fergusson @Brooke Townsend

Brooke laughed at Liusaidh's comment, though she made a point to slow her steps some when Liusaidh drew her wand. The last thing she wanted was to be caught in the cross-fire if jinxes started flying. She couldn't help but laugh some when Rosenberg fell, covering her mouth so it was less obvious, even as one of their classmates hurried over to check on her. "Are you okay, Giselle? You had quite a fall," She said, ignoring the girl's obvious rage with a look of concern. Brooke did consider slinking away with the rest of the crowd now, not wanting to get involved if this got uglier, but she couldn't risk Liusaidh thinking she was a baby simply because things got a little tense. "Maybe a Quidditch match isn't the best place for um. Protesting," She said politely, glancing at Giselle's collection of signs quizzically. @Giselle Rosenberg @Liusaidh Fergusson @Tilly Drage

Liusaidh couldn't help but laugh heartily as Rosenberg tripped up and fell, she knew others probably wouldn't find it funny and if a professor caught her she was definitely about to get into trouble, but that didn't matter for now. She wasn't really caring about that, she watched as Rosenberg stomped over to them, "Wow, dinnae know elephants could walk on two feet," she joked to Brooke quietly, but was not too surprised as Rosenberg shoved her, screaming for Liusaidh to say it again. She couldn't help but smirk. One of the other girls, a hufflepuff by the looks of it, declared that Rosenberg definitely needed a hospital. "Aww Rosenberg, if ye wanted me tae say it to yer face, all ye had to do was ask," She smiled and then with her wand still out very purposefully went to cast a second trip jinx at Rosenberg, in her mind at the very least the defence was that she'd asked for it.

Giselle felt her head but she tried to hide that. It wasn't such a bad idea to check her head in the Hospital Wing and perhaps she could even make things worse and led Lius get punished for this. The Hufflepuff Girl was trying to help but Giselle would not led her. She ignored her trying to fix things. The game was indeed over but this confrontation wasn't. She heard Brooke saying some stuff if she was ok. But Giselle had only eyes for Lius, who was teasing now. And Giselle was the wrong person to do that with. The things Lius said only made her more mad. She rolled her eyes and looked at Lius. The blonde was blinded with anger, she could not handle when people tried to make a fool out of her. '' I can't hear you!!'' Giselle than said to the girl and tried not to led Lius get to her too much. She stood in front of the girl now trying to make herself bigger than she was and tried to be more dumb than she was. Giselle had a way of looking down to people since she was tall. But her fists were ready in case it was neccesary. '' Well say it than?! I'm waiting. What's your problem? '' The blonde than said and tried to see if the girl would try and jinx her again. '' If you actually dare. Come and fight me than with your bare hands... Chicken! '' But than Giselle saw the girl pointing her wand again and was just in time to avoid it jumping to the side. Giselle had an feeling Lius knew more spells than she did. Perhaps she needed to pay more attention in the class, but Giselle just solved stuff with her fists in case it was needed. She hated studying. But Giselle was now done with it and with Lius. She shot Brooke an angry face, ofcourse this was an good place to protest. This was the sport it was about, and people could see how dangerous it was. But she was too busy with Lius now. Giselle made a move to Lius her hands and tried to take the wand away from her pulling hard.

Tilly noticed that the stands were emptying out. As the confrontation between the two Slytherin girls heated up, she was surprised an older student or adult hadn’t stepped in. That said, she wasn’t the kind of girl to tattletale.

Embarrassingly, Tilly still felt incompetent with her wand. She wasn’t about to intervene herself. While she was physically taller and wider than most girls her age, she knew size and brawn were no match for magic. “All right, now you’re both being muttonheads. Have at it, then.” She backed away from the other girls and turned towards the staircase.

@Brooke Townsend @Liusaidh Fergusson @Giselle Rosenberg

Liusaidh watched as the girl grew more angry. She couldn't help but find it a little funny, it was all harmless - mostly. She watched as Rosenberg threatened her if she did it again, but Liusaidh's mind was made up about it. She was casting the spell, unless a professor stopped her. But Rosenberg moved out the way and Liusaidh rolled her eyes a little, hoping that someone got hit with the spell. She looked back at the now very angry face of Rosenberg and was a little surprised when the girl went for her wand. but rather than clutching on tightly, she let it go, let Rosenberg snatch it out of her hand, after all, what did a wand matter, she could get another one. Liusaidh had however decided what she'd do next. "Aye, enjoy it, ah'll be seein' ye," she said, with a little smirk and then gave a more genuine smile to Brooke, a show of it to Rosenberg and then headed away back to school. With one very specific destination in mind.

Giselle looked angry at Lius and rolled with her eyes for a moment. She ignored the hufflepuff girl who tried to help. When she could get close to her wand she quickly threw it away far away from them. '' Not so tough now anymore?!'' The blonde went standing in front of her again and rolled her eyes as Lius decided to walk away. '' Chicken! Walk away than.'' The blonde than screamed as she walked away. It was stupid what Lius had done. And she would be mad at her for some time. She took her signs and felt at her head for an moment. Giselle wasn't gonna go to the Hospital Wing she was fine. And she was not an chicken.
