The Stands

@Elio Zephyr
Elsie grinned over at Elio as he handed her a Gryffindor flag and she had one from Zennon as well, who was clearly there for Leda and Sapphire, so she started waving both flags. "WOOO, YES GO AND GET THAT QUAFFLE WHOEVER YOU CHASERS ARE! WOOO!" She didn't much care which side was getting which, since she had both flags, that was allowed right? Sure it was! "Oh, sh!t, Leda!" She noticed the Headgirl was hit a couple of times and gritted her teeth, surely that hurt, right? "YOU CAN DO IT GIRL!" She noticed Onyx as he headed up past Chrys and Chrys just seemed intent to ignore him. "You good?" She asked her friend, before turning back to Elio and poking her tongue out at him.

Chrys surreptitiously ignored Onyx so much, he started going himself a headache. This was why hated dating in school. Honestly thank merlin Onyx wasn't a Hufflepuff or in is year, he'd have bloody no where to hide them. Seriously. He didn't even bother looking up and pressed himself closer to Elsie's side, feeling much better with her nearby, squeezed slightly between Elsie and Zennon as he was. Ava was there too, but he didn't know much about her, nor did he specifically care too, he was so done with people, ugh, you tell one person you love them, change your mind and suddenly you're a horrible person? Merlin, people got divorced like all the time, how was this any different. He was so sick of this being his fault and how dare Onyx just show up. He never came to these things, why now? Ugh, the worst. Seriously. "LUNA BABE, COME ON!" She had one of the harder jobs as a chaser, so he was looking forward to her hooping it. "SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT!" The more he shouted to Luna, honestly the better he felt and if it upset Onyx, then so be it. Was he dating Luna, no, did he like her, duh, she was gorgeous, did Onyx know any of this? Probably some, probably not others. Did he hope it upset Onyx? Also-freaking-lutley. "BABE, QUAFFLE!" He didn't answer Elsie, he didn't need to. He just kept his eyes on the game instead.

Agnes has never actually attended a quidditch game, but she hadn’t thought to given she didn’t really know anyone on the team. But Elsie was going and it was going to be another place where she could spend time with her girlfriend and have fun. They already spent a long time apart because they were in different years, and since Valentines she felt as though she’d grown even closer to the Ravenclaw. There were a few other people here including Elio which was a bit worrying, but taking a deep breath and trusting what a Elsie has told her, she quietly slipped in and took a seat in the bench behind them. “How’s the game?” She asked, just in time to watch the Slyrherin seeker get pelted. This was meant to be a fun game wasn’t it? This is who she’d be contending to in the wing, although as she glanced to Zennon at least she wouldn’t have to be the only assistant helping those who volunteered to be bludgered. @Elsie Baros

Isla had decided to try and spend more time with her brother who was clearly struggling. If their chat the other day proved anything it was that he had no idea where his head was at, and since Isla had also realised she’d missed his company she wanted to make an effort and becoming more involved in his life. It was easy to find him, he was the one yelling at the top of his lungs as usual. She spotted Onyx too although she realised no one here would even have a clue who she was yet. The Hufflepuff crosses in front of the strangers to reach the Gryffindor, pulling a spare flag out of his pocket without asking, and with a cheeky grin to Onyx she turned and lent on the front of the stands, trying to access what she’d missed out on.

Wendall was absolutely delighted that Gryffindor had made it through to the finals. Honestly he couldn’t care less about his own house, it was his best friend that he hoped would go all the way and win the cup. He was in a little bit of a predicament however as they were playing Slytherin, and the second year was quietly watching as his best friend beat the life out of his cousin. Wendall winced for her, and while he knew both player were very good he really hoped no one hurt too badly. He couldn’t even concentrate on anyone else in the stands, his eyes fixed on the two people he cared about most, watching with huge anticipation and nerves for whoever was going to come out on top.

Elsie noticed Agnes heading up out of the corner of her eye. She still hadn't told anyone really, preferring to keep the information to herself as she promised, but she took a moment to reach behind her as Agnes sat down to squeeze her leg from behind. She had to reach awkwardly back, but it was the easiest way for her to touch her girlfriend whilst no one noticed. "Pretty good, worried Leda might have had it, if she takes another hit she's a goner for sure, surprised she's survived the last two," she said frowning. She didn't know Leda well besides what she knew from Zennon, but still. She noted another Hufflepuff make her way up and into the stands, but was too preoccupied with simultaneously being close to Agnes and almost making it look like nothing was going on. Merlin, this was tough, but hopefully the game would keep most people occupied. "YAS! WHOEVER IS SCORING! WOO!" She wasn't actually sure what was happening in the game right now, since she was distracted by the presence of her girlfriend who she never seemed to be able to spend enough time with. Maybe she could sneak her under the stands? Maybe...

Agnes failed to keep the smile off her face when she felt Elsie’s hand on her leg, and she moved a little so that both legs were propped up on the bench Elsie sat on as any normal friend would. The side of one leg was lightly resting against her but it was too subtle for anyone to pick up on she was sure. Agnes only knew Leda because she was Head Girl and a regular to the hospital wing, but she still hoped her house would win over the lions, or at least she would voice that opinion as to not make it obvious to why she was actually in the stands in the first place. Agnes laughed at Elsie’s comment, “COME ON SLYTHERIN!!!!” Her voice may not have been as loud as others, but she was enjoying getting more involved with Elsie and her friends.

Elsie continued to watch the game as it kept moving. That Summers kid was good with a bat, no doubt. She casually glanced behind her every so often as she felt Agnes' legs on he seat and angled herself backwards slightly so she was every so subtlety pressed up against them, the addition feeling making her giddy. She couldn't just stay here like this. She looked over her shoulder and gave her girlfriend a look and subtly nodded in a direction that would get them away from the stands and everyone else. She needed some time with her girlfriend. At a break in the game, she scooted closer to Elio, and positioned herself in his lap, hands on his shoulders. "Listen here, Zephyr. Whatever you think you saw, you didn't see and if you did, you didn't, capiche?" She patted him softly on the cheek with a grin before getting up and nodding at Agnes again. Time with Agnes was the most important, she wasn't letting anyone ruin it, if she had to threaten them herself.

Emma was all decked out in Gryffindor colors, she had to support her sister and her best friend in the whole world. The girl was following the game closely, and Lysander was definitely doing better than Fleur so far. She couldn't believe he had nearly taken out the Slytherin seeker already, and she was starting to feel like beater really was the best position. "GO LYSANDER! GO GRYFFINDOR!" Emma shouted, cupping her hands around her mouth and yelling as loudly as she could. She might lose her voice tomorrow, but Emma didn't care right now. "GET THE QUAFFLE FLEUR!"

Elio grinned at Ava when she said she bought snacks, which would certainly come in handy later on in the match especially if this ended up being a long one. As Isla came over and stole something straight out of his pocket, Elio was too shocked at her presence to actually say anything and let her move to wherever she was most comfortable. He was about to sing another chant when he felt someone against him, and turned to see Elsie climbing into his lap. “Els what are you..” he didn’t have much of a chance to ask before she was telling him whatever he saw, he hadn’t. What was she referring to? He’d not spotted Agnes had joined them, but right now Elsie in his face was a bit intimidating. It took him a moment to twig, knowing that there had been some kind of secret going on with her. Was he right on the mark that she and Agnes were together? He looked up at her as motionless as possible, “Saw what?” If that’s how they wanted to play it then so be it. He had no reason to get involved. Even if it wasn’t one of his best friends asking him, things like that were none of his business unless he was specifically invited. @Elsie Baros

Agnes was enjoying this, being together with everyone and Elsie, even if it was to watch something as lame as Quidditch. She glanced down as Elsie moved though, concerned when she watched her head over to Elio. What was she doing, right here and out in the open? The fourth year looked away unable to stare and work herself up even more about what his reaction may have been to Elsie pinning him down, how easy it would be to just say something. It wasn’t until Elsie walked away again and Elio remained silent that she believed the coast might be clear, and the Slytherin let go of her held breath. She waited a few seconds as to not make it obvious before following in the direction of Elsie. Wherever she was going, Agnes was going to follow.

Zennon was focusing on the game, mostly ignoring everything else happening. Until that is, he noticed something glinting and Leda quickly raced after it. His eyes widened and he leaned closer over the barrier to watch her as she sped around the pitch. "Sh!t, I think Leds just got the snitch!" He was so proud of his best friend. She absolutely needed potions after that.

Wendall looked up to one of Leda's friend he recognised from the lake, who was leaning against the stand. Had he seen something Wendall had missed? He'd been too preoccupied wondering what on earth Lysander was talking to Leda about, but as the Hufflepuff turned to see Leda with her arm raised, Wendall was suddenly very excited for his cousin and began to bounce up and down. Of course he knew Lysander was amazing, and he would win every other game in every other year, but right now he was just glad that Leda was ending on a high.

Emma grinned and cheered as Fleur got the quaffle. She was sure her sister was going to score. But then a cheer came from the Slytherin side, and Emma looked at the seeker in dismay. "NO!" She called, but it was no good. The head girl had gotten the snitch, way too soon. Emma scowled and crossed her arms angrily. This was all stupid Jacob's fault for putting his girlfriend on the team and making her play today. It was clear she was not a good seeker, and now they had lost.

"What? You're kidding?" Elio looked across the pitch and stood from his seat, joining Isla and Zennon against the front of the stands as he squinted through the air to see what was going on. "Oh maaaaaaan," Apparently his singing hadn't been loud enough. He wouldn't say it out loud but Leda looked as though she was ready to fall off her broom with the hits she'd taken, not win. It was a shame Elsie and Agnes had left to miss this, but at least there would be less people in the vicinity cheering right now.

Ajaccio was pretty keen on joining the quidditch team next year, he had all but made up his mind, so of course, he was coming to the current quidditch game. He was quick to get to the pitch but had been momentarily distracted and ended up missing the kick off. He walked through the stands, hoping to spot someone he knew and eventually did. ”Star!” he waved at the boy and then headed to sit down next to him. He looked up at the game and smiled lightly, ”Who are you supporting today?” Ajax himself was supporting gryffindor, with his friend Lysander on the team who else would it be,but he didn’t know if the same could be said for Wendall.

@Wendall Layton

Onyx hadn't really expected to see Chrys or be anywhere near him today, and it made him hurt so much he thought he might just curl up and die. He wanted to. Chrys was yelling loudly for someone on the quidditch team, and honestly Onyx wasn't even surprised. Chrys had so many people. He had never needed Onyx. He felt the tears well up and he stared at the muffin in his hands. He just hadn't wanted to be alone, he had wanted to see his sister play and be close to her. Was that really so much to ask? Maybe he should just leave. No one would care if he disappeared. He had just resolved to go when suddenly Isla was there.

Onyx's eyes widened. He stood, scooting closer to her and pressing against her side, leaning with her and offering to share his muffin. "My ex is close," He murmured, "Can I just stay with you a bit?" He asked, needing to cuddle someone but not wanting to push Isla's boundaries.

He watched the game, eyes widening as Leda shot off after the snitch. "Oh oh oh," He breathed, eyes widening. "YE-" He started to cheer when she caught it, but quickly covered his mouth with his hand, waving his little flag instead. He didn't want to draw attention to himself, he just wanted to see his sister.

@Isla Zephyr

Isla didn't really have a specific team she was rooting for, but between these two it had to be Gryffindor just for Elio's sake. She turned her head to see Onyx had joined her, and flashed him another smile. "Your ex?" she asked, peering over her shoulder to see who he was referring to and whether he was worth the trouble. Through the power of elimination Isla could work out which one he was, and watched as he began screaming about some other babe on the pitch. "Well duh, course you can," she said, sliding an arm through his just to make him feel a little better in front of the Hufflepuff. She had nothing against Chrys per say but if she could make Onyx feel a little better then she would. She continued to watch the game, grimacing a bit when the seeker got hit twice in quick succession, but then the Head Girl managed to catch it and the Gryffindor almost yelped beside her. She turned to face him with wide eyes and half a fought back smile, "You liar!" she teased, grabbing his tiny little flag. "You totally wanted Slytherin to win," she laughed, looking back over the pitch. "Go on then. Who is it?" If he was a Gryffindor but he was still glad for the snakes, there had to be someone he was rooting for.

Wendall's eyes lit up when Ajax came to sit next to him, "It's really hard to tell. I want Slytherin to win because, well, I think Leda would like it." She'd been through a lot and this was her last ever game, it would have been good for her to catch the snitch. "But then there's Lysander!" he explained vaguely as though just hearing his name was obvious. After Leda had caught the snitch, Wendall was up on his feet and clapping, proud of his cousin. "Do you think we should go and find Sanders?" he asked his friend, hoping that the Gryffindor wasn't too upset about doing so well but still being beaten by the other team.

Onyx sighed in relief, curling up closer to Islas side. He gave her an impish grin. "I did." He admitted softly. He pointed to his sister, her ebony hair flowing in the wind as she let it down from her ponytail. "My sister, Sapphire. I... Didn't want to be alone so I thought I would come see her play." He bit his lip, laying his head on Islas shoulder. "I'm pathetic. He doesn't even care I'm here and I still just feel like a lost little kitten. I would do anything to be his kitty still," he admitted softly, not even brave enough to shoot a longing glance at Chrys.

Isla hadn't met anyone like Onyx before, and although she didn't know him too well it was clear that he hated being by himself, given that he was already attached to her hip. The fourth year peered across the pitch to see Sapphire flying with one of the bats, although Isla didn't remember her doing much during the game. "She's the one everybody knows?" she asked, not even recognising her, although to be fair Isla didn't know a lot of people and that wasn't exactly an accident. She felt sorry for the older boy who seemed to be tied up because Chrys wasn't paying him any attention, "Okay so f*** him, he doesn't care, why should you" she asked quietly, hoping no one else in the vicinity would be able to hear them. What was it with the Gryffindor boys these days being so tied up with one person? "If you can't feel it then fake it," she added, glancing back to Onyx, "You want him back right, then give him something to go back to," Isla urged. If Onyx was so uptight about wanting him, he was going to have to show Chrys that he was the one that made the mistake. "Make, yourself, invaluable."

Onyx nodded. "Before I met you... Or Chrys even, all of my friends were hers. If you ask about a Michaels twin, you'll be pointed to her. Beater, prefect, angel. People... Usually don't even notice me." He bit his lip, unable to answer her question. The easy answer was that he loved Chrys and Chrys just didn't care about Onyx at all. He glanced at her uncertainly as she told him to make himself invaluable. "How do I do that?" He questioned.

Lumio wasn't a big fan of quidditch, he could see it's merits but it just wasn't really something for him. But he'd decided with it being the big game where Slytherin would go up against another school, the gryffindor felt like supporting slytherins and his school. So, he'd gotten dress and found himself within the crowd of people watching the game get started. The players were still arriving but he figured it wouldn't be long until they were up in the air and the game would be underway. He just took the time now to cheer loudly for the slytherin team.

Lucas was always excited for Quidditch matches, but this one was slightly more exciting because it involved a whole different school. He had been curious about other schools, and now he would get to see students from another school. One from France! He headed into the stands and spotted Lumio, a boy in his year he kind of knew. Lucas grinned and headed over to him, glad for a familiar face. "Hey! I really hope Slytherin wins." He said, though he would have preferred to root for Hufflepuff.
