Open The stands

Lumio arrived at the quidditch pitch, he was up in the stands and there to support gryffindor. He glanced towards the pitch, not spotting his boyfriend there amongst them. He was pretty eager to see him play and things got started and then quickly ended. The snitch was caught in moments by Gryffindor. He stood up cheering loudly, it had been a very very short game and he just felt pretty disappointed by that, he'd been hoping for a longer excuse to not do any studying.

Eugene had gotten a little sidetracked in his journey to the quidditch pitch, so he got there just as the gryffindor stands erupted into celebrations. He had thought maybe it was just for a goal, but looking at the players it was clear it was more than that, the game was already over, it was done. Won so quickly he was sure more people like him might've missed it. He was a little disappointed that he had missed it but thankfully he hadn't bee in charge of getting pictures for it.

"Josh!" he greeted the other boy warmly and nodded. "Very much so, may the best team win," he said jokingly given that it was their respective houses against one another. He watched as things kicked off, and despite hoping that it would be a long match, it came to an end very quickly. With Gryffindor catching the snitch. "Wow!" he exclaimed, "That was fast!" he couldn't help but say, it had just been so very very fast.

Rosie certainly got her wish, the game had no sooner kicked off when it was also wrapped up. She ghadn't even needed to hide behind her hands because the game was over so quickly. She cheered loudly, with the banner for her sister held up high. She was happy it was over and happy that Gryffindor had actually won. They were certainly due a victory and she knew that this meant her sister would be very happy, though probably still a little disappointed she hadn't been able to play. But at least for Rosie the worst of it was over for a season.

Harper nodded. "Red it is then." She changed the banner back to its original colours, smiling when Salem offered to help hold it aloft. "Here." And then she noticed the Gryffindor's red palms. "Wow, you really went all out," she said with a small laugh. Harper personally found face paint a little too messy for her taste, but she admired anyone who wore it to sports matches.

The players kicked off, and Harper cheered, waving her end of the banner. She was watching the keepers, so she didn't notice the snitch catch until the crowd around them roared. "Wait, did we just win?" she asked, giving Salem a look of astonishment before staring at Flynn. It took a moment for her to process the snitch fluttering between his fingers, but once she did, she cheered loudly. That was by far the shortest Quidditch match she'd ever seen, and she hoped Nikko wasn't disappointed. "I hope there's a victory party." It had been a while since Gryffindor had had one of those.

@Salem Lee

Salem returned Harper's smile brightly, happily taking the banner to help hold it aloft. At least now that it was red if her paint wiped off on it it'd be harder to notice too. "Face paint's fun, unless you get it in your ears. Nearly got my wand stuck in my ear once trying to scourgify it out so I don't recommend that," she said, giving the banner an excited wiggle as the game got started.

She felt like she'd barely blinked before Flynn was holding up his arm, with what could only be the snitch clasped in his hand. "I think we did!" She said, giving the banner a much more enthusiastic wave as she joined the crowd in the celebration. "I wonder if that's a record," she mused, lowering the banner, a little at a loss at what to do now. They'd won, but Salem had been hoping to have a bit more fun at the match. "They'll definitely want to celebrate after that," she agreed when Harper mentioned a party, moving to help fold up the banner as the crowd in the stands started to disband. @Harper Alston

As excited as René was that one of his friends was officially on a house quidditch team like him, he couldn't help feel quietly pleased that Gryffindor was doing worse than Hufflepuff this year. It would be just like Louis to swoop in and start doing better than René despite René having played since his first year (something he had a feeling his friends tended to forget too).

That being said, he shouldn't have been so surprised when he'd barely gotten in his seat for the game and spotted the Louis shaped player out on the pitch when there was a commotion and he realized Gryffindor had somehow already won. "Wow," he said, honestly speechless at how quickly Flynn North had just moved. Lucas was fast, but it did make René glad they didn't have to go up against Gryffindor until next year.

Leia was not quidditch's biggest fan, but as a slytherin and as Head Girl she felt it was pretty important for her to be at the final quidditch game of the cup. It helped too that Slytherin was in the final. She was very skeptical about the quidditch leaders for Slytherin but this was not their first time in the final, so perhaps it would be fine. She didn't have anything to cheer with, she didn't want to show her house team too much preference, though if slytherin were not in the final she would not have gone. The slytherin was waiting for things to be kicked off.

It had been disappointing to Branson to have not won a single game this semester. He knew that last instance had just been bad luck, but he wanted to win. As did most teams he was sure. With Jordie in the hufflepuff team, he had come out to support him, had made a sign and everything. He was sure that the slytherins would be a rough team but he was sure that the hufflepuffs had a good team and were ready for this and he hoped they would have some success. "Go Jordie!" he cheered loudly.

Eugene enjoyed watching quidditch, he was always glad he wasn't the one having to take pictures of the players, they would be dashing about the place like crazy, it would be difficult to capture that. He was hopefuly that Hufflepuff would win and was obviously there to cheer the team on. Eugene didn't know if Renata would actually play but he thought it could be quite cool to see a friend play, other than Rene. He was in amongst the other Hufflepuffs and ready to cheer as loudly as he possibly could for his team.

Valeria arrived at the quidditch pitch, really eager for the game to get started. It was going to be good fun to watch the other teams battle it out. She knew it had been disappointing for them to lose but she also wasn't so bothered by it. She was excited to see if Ares would play. He was a good friend and one she was excited to watch play. She sat amongst the slytherins happy to cheer them on in this game. It was going to be a good game.

Aurora had dragged Rosie to the quidditch game. She knew her sister would want to be anywhere else, but it was the cup final, and it was an important game. The gryffindor wanted to be on a winning team and wanted to be a better beater and she had to spend seeing how others played and specifically probably how the slytherins did. She was also going to enjoy the game, but she wanted to learn more. "Come on," she usered Rosie into a seat and sat down next to her.

Rosie did not enjoy quidditch games, but there had been no escaping from aurora. At the very least she knew that this wouldn't be as bad, she didn't know anyone on the teams enough to worry about them like she did with Gyrffindor and Ravenclaw, but partly anyone being hit with a bludger was pretty terrible. She didn't like it at all, and what she knew was that Slytherin could be. Rosie allowed herself to be shoved into a bench and then glanced to the professor at the front of the room.

Today's game was bound to be an interesting one and no one could convince Joseph otherwise. He was keen to see Hufflepuff and Slytherin fight for the title yet tried his best not to cheer for either of the teams in particular. Which was hard. He'd love to see his daughter be succesful but at the same time it would be great to see Hufflepuff take a win. If anything he'd be happy no matter what team won. Although he desperately hoped he wouldn't have to see Ivelisse get knocked out of a game again. Making his way up the stands he found himself a seat towards the back, not wanting to block any student's view. He was sure he'd still be well able to spot his daughter amongst the rest of the players anyways.

Senna was stoked for the game today, especially after how quickly the last one had ended. Almost before it had even begun. She was disappointed it wouldn't be her own house fighting for the title today but both Slytherin and Hufflepuff had strong teams, which meant things could get interesting. Finding herself a seat with a good view of the pitch Senna looked around, squinting her eyes to see if she could see whether any of the players already on the pitch looked nervous.

The thought of Quidditch still made Sawyer's stomach churn as he headed up into the stands but at least up here he didn't have nearly as much pressure or attention as he had when he was the one on the pitch.
He wasn't overly surprised to see a few Ravenclaw team members in the crowd, vaguely considering avoiding them before shaking his head and dropping into a seat by Valeria.

Sawyer made sure to whistle loudly when Felix took to the pitch, hoping that his brother wouldn't have to play today if everything went right, before turning to Valeria. "So, who you cheering for today? The team that already kicked our butt last semester or the team that probably would have kicked our butt?" @Valeria Iglesias

Valeria glanced at Sawyer as he joined her, she gave a little smile. "The team that would've kicked our butt," she replied laughing lightly. "I know Ares, he's a good friend," he was someone she cared about a lot, a good friend, confidant. "Are you support the team that kicked our butts?" she countered but the game got underway quickly and seemingly over just as quickly. Slytherin won, and she felt happy for them, but also in awe of how good of a team they seemed to be. "Slytherin are quite a force,"
@Sawyer Carnahan

Renata was a little disappointed to not be playing today but if the bruise she'd had for a week after playing Slytherin was any indication it was probably good she wasn't. She didn't envy the Beauxbatons team. A part of her was just curious to see them, thinking that maybe if things had turned out differently she'd be out there in pale blue. It would be more flattering than black and yellow, but she was glad she'd come to Hogwarts. She didn't know any of the Slytherins playing but she'd cheer them on anyway, even if they'd beaten Hufflepuff.

Delilah usually didn't care much about quidditch, not even when it was her own house playing. But it was the international game and they were playing Beauxbatons, and it provided her with one of the rare occasions she could see her cousin. She hadn't seen Gemma since the funeral but she had written her a few times. Despite being only a year a part they were never that close and the gap always felt much larger. But she was happy to show her support quietly from the stands. She glanced around the stands to see if Caleb had showed up but it didn't look like it. She waved uselessly when Beauxbtons knowing Gemma likely couldn't see her at all.
