FULL NAME
Emmanuel Adesina Okoye

MEANING
Emmanuel - Meaning:God is with us.
Adesina - Adesina is a surname of Yoruba origin which literary translates to: "crown opens the way". The name is often given to a long-awaited child.
Okoye - Okoye is a family name (surname) originating in Nigeria. It is an Anambra dialect derived from the central Igbo name Okorie (meaning someone born on orie market day, or Oye market day as known in Anambra State).

WHY
Emmanuel was named after his paternal grandfather who died shortly before he was born. The man was a mixed blood wizard and had raised Emmanuel's father and been a third parent to his mother when his parents were together. He died rather suddenly, and deeply affected the family when he did so. Emmanuel was born shortly and they decided to honour him by giving him his name. The only difference was to give him a different middle name, the middle name being given for it's meaning as Emmanuel was a long awaited child. Emmanuel wishes that he could’ve met his paternal grandfather as the man was a well respected and deeply loved man and Emmanuel hopes he might one day be able to be that for people too, and hopes that he can live up to the expectations of his name. His middle name was given to him after a family friend had told his parents of the meaning. His parents had really struggle to have children, they have been together since both were 16 years old and have been trying since they were 17, they had very little luck and had a number of miscarriages in the first stages of pregnancy. Emmanuel too was a very tricky pregnancy and there were a number of health scares during. When he was born a family friend told them about the name and had they not already been certain on naming after his paternal grandfather that would’ve been the name they gave him, but they decided it would be a middle name.

NICKNAMES
Emmanuel’s parents call him by his full given name, and don’t believe in reducing his name to a nickname out of respect for who held the name before. Some people at school do call him either Em or Manny depending on how they feel, Emmanuel will tend to correct them when they do. He knows that his name is a bit of a mouthful but he believes in tradition and believes in using his full given name. He just doesn’t want to do wrong by his parents. He likes his name anyway, even if there is tradition attached to it and when he doesn’t want it simplified down.

AGE
Currently Emmanuel is thirteen years old.
He is unbothered by age, uncaring and just eager to play and have fun.

D.O.B.
Following a very difficult pregnancy Emmanuel was born after a gruelling 30 hour labour period, a full two weeks early. He was a small baby when born and the healers were quick to make sure that everything for Emmanuel was fine, that everything was how it should be. In the end other than being small, Emmanuel was fine on his birth. He’s always been a tad smaller than his peers and his parents always attribute that to him being born so small.

FATHER
Akunna Okoye, mixed blood wizard. Historian - Archeologist - early muggle nigerian history. 52. Only child.
Emmanuel’s father is half blood wizard whose mother died when he was ten. Akunna had always loved history and historical digs. He travelled and volunteered on dig sites whenever he could, travelling far for it. His father was deeply supportive of all his work and his desire to go to places. He did well in school, excelling in history, charms and transfiguration. In school he met Emmanuel’s mother, they started dating at 15 and have been together ever since. When he graduated magical school, Akunna decided to attend muggle university in Lagos, and studied Nigerian history and archeology. He has spent a lot of time in the muggle world as one of the foremost writers, researchers and lecturers on Nigerian history, specifically early nigerian history. He and his wife got married when they only 17. At the very moment they could, they’d been trying for children ever since but were only successful with the birth of Emmanuel. He dotes on his son a lot. Emmanuel’s father was offered a teaching position at Auckland University, which he took, since the opportunity to work in a different country and to explore the history of a different country while teaching what he was familiar was something he wanted to do a lot. They moved to New Zealand when Emmanuel was nine years old. Akunna loves living and working in New Zealand but is looking forward to moving back when the tenure is up.

MOTHER
Aisha “ Njoku“ Okoye. Pureblood witch. Historian - early magical nigerian history. 52. Two sisters. Both sisters have three children a piece, 2 boys, 4 girls.
Aisha was born to a wealthy, pureblood family. She was the youngest of her sisters and was often forgotten by her parents, because they were very busy and more focused on her older sisters. They aren’t elitist but they are a family driven by tradition so it was just easy for her to be forgotten. Aisha was a studious and intelligent woman, she really liked potions and divination, but in school she discovered a real passion for history, prompted in part by meeting Akunna and their mutual bonding and friendship over that. They were quickly inseparable, and she was really taken in by Akunna’s father, who treated her with respect, kindness and love. When she and Akunna got married she was so happy to finally be his family. They were very close. Shortly before Akunna’s father’s death she was helping more around the home. Akunna didn’t attend muggle university, but focused her study and research on magical history in Nigeria, and has written a number of books on the matter. She gives guest talks, lectures to the magical community and had in Nigeria her own research department funded by her family’s money, which was to teach kids and adults about Nigerian history. She had a lot trouble having children, much to her disappointment, but she loves her one son. He’s perfect to her, could do no wrong really. When the family moved to New Zealand Aisha was supportive of her husband and has continued to write and conduct her research, she works remotely in New Zealand with frequent travel back to Nigeria.

SIBLING(S)
Emmanuel is an only child. His parents struggled so much to conceive him that after he was born they stopped actively trying for children.

OTHER
Emmanuel has no grandparents or aunts and uncles on his father’s side, his father’s parents only had one child and both died before Emmanuel was born. He has heard a lot about them and really would’ve loved to have met them. He’s seen the pictures of them and though he feels he has a lot to live up to with his grandfather, they are important to him.

On his mother’s side, both of his grandparents are still alive. He has two aunts, both of whom are married. His oldest Aunt is 60 and has three children, three girls. These girls are all pureblood and were born, raised and educated in Nigeria. They are all now adults and have children of their own. Most of whom are younger than Emmanuel. His other aunt married a mixed blood man and has two boys and one girl, with the girl being the youngest. Only the oldest boy has a child of his own, the other two do not.

RELATIONSHIP TO FAMILY
Emmanuel has a good relationship with his family. He is close with both of his parents and is deeply loved by both. He is has been nervous about the move to New Zealand, but is happy to follow his father and welcomes the opportunities this will provide him. He often talks with his father about the work that he is doing and will usually be one of the first people his father will test a lecture on. Emmanuel doesn’t ever claim to understand all of it, but he enjoys the personal time with his father. He is close with his mother too, since she has always doted on him, giving him all that he ever could’ve wanted. He’s felt distanced from her in recent months as the move to New Zealand has meant she is away from home more often. They have a good and positive family dynamic and Emmanuel always keen to do his parents proud, he will always take on board what they say and is very respectful to them. They teach him to not always just go blindly along with what they tell him, to form his own opinion and speak up if he has an issue with what he’s being told, but he very rarely does so because he’ll usually take on board what his parents suggest.

Emmanuel has a good relationship with his mother’s family, he is close with his cousin’s children and likes spending time with a lot of them. Especially when he was living in Nigeria. He has a good relationship with his grandparents but not as close as he knows they have with his cousins, just because his parents are not as close to them as they could be. But he does appreciate that they are supportive and do always encourage Emmanuel to be his best self. They also teach him a lot about the magical family and encourage him to take an interest in family history.

PET(S)
Emmanuel is allergic to slightly allergic to cats, it causes his skin to rash slightly when he touches them. His father is scared of dogs so therefore they are a household free of pets. His grandparents family have a lot of owls but they themselves do not have any.

BLOOD STATUS
Emmanuel is a pureblood. His mother's family are pureblood and his father's family are mixed but have with him now had three generations of full wizards and thus this makes Emmanuel pureblood.

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS
Emmanuel is surrounded by both muggles and pureblood wizards. He has never minded what he was and enjoys learning about muggles and magical. He has two parents who study history, and from magical and muggle perspectives. He doesn’t mind what he is. It is not a serious thing and he doesn’t believe anyone is better or worse by their blood, he will correct his cousins and second cousins when they are like that. However, despite not believing himself to be superior to muggles or muggleborns, he does think he has to uphold his family and their values. He is the first generation of his side to be pureblood and uphold it for his parents. He knows that people leave legacies and that the history of a family is important so he would try to be the best kind of pureblood.

HOMETOWN
Lagos, Nigeria
Until he moved to New Zealand, Emmanuel had lived in the same house in Lagos for all of his life. It was a house owned by his parents, using money from their work and from his grandparents. They’d lived there since both had left school. Until his death Emmanuel’s paternal grandfather had lived at the house too.

CURRENT RESIDENCE
Auckland, New Zealand

THE PLACE TO LIVE
Before moving to New Zealand, Emmanuel would’ve definitely claimed that Lagos was the place to live, but since moving and seeing a different part of the world he is less certain about it and does realise that there are probably a lot of very cool places to live. He wants to experience more of it and be able to see more places in the world. He loves the differences between New Zealand and Nigeria and though Nigeria is home, he can’t claim that he necessarily likes it more than New Zealand.

PREVIOUS HOMES
FIRST HOME: Emmanuel’s first home was in Lagos, it was a modest family home spread over two floors with a large garden space. It had a large bedroom for him, and three other bedrooms on the top floor. One of which was used by a study. The back garden was a south facing and had plenty of trees, and flowers. It was a home colourfully decorated with plenty of space for the family to live and work without getting in each other’s way.
CURRENT HOME: Emmanuel’s current home in Auckland is a tad smaller than the one he’d been in New Zealand, and the garden smaller but nicely kept. It is a home Emmanuel doesn’t mind, he likes the area he lives in and likes his bedroom space which is as spacious as his old one. He likes the way it’s styled and appreciates how they’ve made their own despite the fact they will leave eventually and go back to their old home.

SEXUAL ORIENTATION
Emmanuel is quite young and hasn’t really thought about what he is. He knows his parents won’t mind whatever he is, but he’s not putting much thought into it currently.

HAIR STYLE
Emmanuel has very short black hair, he doesn’t like it getting in the way at all, so has always aimed to keep it as short as he can. He doesn’t do much with it, but makes sure it’s properly looked after, and isn’t ever poorly kept. He knows it’s important to keep a tidy appearance and that though it’s wrong, he will be taken more seriously if he keeps his hair tidy. He models his hair after his father who has very very similar hair to him. He likes his hair though he doesn’t do much with it.

HAIR HAS BEEN DYED
Never, mostly Emmanuel doesn’t think he or his hair would suit being any other colour than the one it naturally is. He wouldn’t be opposed to trying different colours but his mind is pretty set on none of them suiting him.

EYE COLOUR
Emmanuel has dark brown eyes, they are near identical to both of his parents, but specifically they are identical in shape to that of his father. Emmanuel has always liked the way his features sit, lots of people have said to him that they think he has a kind face and Emmanuel believes it’s because of his eyes. He doesn’t have any deep desire for his eyes to be any other colour or to change them in any way. Emmanuel is confident and content in how he looks.

BIRTHMARKS/FRECKLES/SCARS
Emmanuel has a couple of small birthmarks on his face, and a couple of scars too. He’s always been an active child and therefore has just gotten into some adventures that haven’t gone very well. But he’s never minded them, the fact that he’s been raised in an environment that’s always though positively of history and the way history can be written in things has helped him be happy with scars. His parents have always told him that it’s good to have stories and have always been very supportive if he was upset when they happened.

BODY TYPE
Emmanuel is a little short for his age, neither of his parents are particularly short but he is and though he’s always been told he’ll eventually have his growth spirt he’s not that convinced about it. Emmanuel has a sporty build, he’s always been very active, and with lots of kids around him, there was always something to do, someone to play with. He is less active in New Zealand, just because he hasn’t yet made many friends and is not as surrounded as he once was.

BLOOD TYPE
AB (+ve)
The same blood type as his mother. He doesn’t actually know it, but his parents do.

WHICH HAND?
Right handed.
It was the hand he was taught to write with. Emmanuel’s hand writing is fairly messy, he can write in cursive but it’s a bit of a messy scrawl, but Emmanuel can read it, and if he goes slower he can usually make it neater, he just doesn’t really bother. He can understand it and he can transcribe it which is all that’s important.

VOICE
Emmanuel has a high pitched but friendly voice. He speaks quickly and excitedly a lot, and can sometimes stumble over words but he managed to speak well most of the time. Emmanuel knows that his voice will get lower and he’s almost quite excited for that.

LANGUAGES
Emmanuel speaks fluent english and fluent Yoruba. He learnt both in school, and the language at home was primarily English. He likes New Zealand has a keenness to learn the native Maori language as he feels it’s disrespectful for him to not learn it at a little during his time in the country.

ALLERGIES
Emmanuel is only allergic to cats. He has no other known allergies.

PERSONAL STYLE
Emmanuel likes practical clothes over anything else, he likes clothes that fit, that aren’t oversized or undersized, he likes to feel comfortable and always aims to wear clothes that will best suit what he is doing. He wouldn’t wear sweatpants to school and wouldn’t wear nice trousers to play outside. He does tend to carry a second outfit him just in case what he ends up doing later means that what he was wearing was no longer practical. Most of his clothes are new, he’s always keen to donate the old once he’s either grown out of them or grown bored of them. He’ll also get clothes second hand or from vintage stores, they’re just usually new to him. He likes to be in style even when practical but wouldn’t wear anything that fancy that wasn’t also practical. He believes in being neat with most of his clothes, but isn’t afraid to get dirt.

CHARACTER LIKES
By proxy of being around his parents Emmanuel loves history, he loves learning about ancient history and loves going to historical sites and imagining how they might’ve lived. He doesn’t always understand what his parents are talking about - since they can get technical - but he loves hearing about it and being told about how cool things are. He loved when his father’s old university did a history fair focusing on early traditions. Emmanuel likes playing around, he’s always up for a game of football or rugby or quidditch, he’ll always happily get involved in things. He always thinks it’s good to be able to get involved with things, to have people that he can be around. He likes nature and warm weather plenty but if it’s cold he much prefers reading a book or having some fun indoors.

CHARACTER DISLIKES
Emmanuel is a very positive person he dislikes negativity and always finds himself pulling away from people who are overly negative. He will always try to build people up more than anything. He’s not the sort of person to engage in gossip but can at times be drawn in. He dislikes people who belittle or who are mean to others, and will always find people who are cruel or mean to be the worst kind. He knows that life isn’t all sunshine and daisy but whenever he can be the positive person or being around positive people he will be. He dislikes overworking and thinks that no one should overwork. He dislikes cold days and finds cold weather the most difficult kind of weather to deal with.

GOALS
Emmanuel would love to be a historian like his parents, he is driven and interested in History and finds a lot of value in learning about the past, so he knows he would rather do something like that than anything else. He is not so bothered by having a family, since his own family is more than enough for him. He likes the idea of being in love and so would want that but he knows that he can find as much value in his books.

BOGGART
Losing the ability to read, as much as he knows being able to read isn’t the greatest thing ever, he would also really like to not lose it. He would fear the loss of being able to read because so much of his life is about reading, the books around him, about the work of his parents. Losing the ability to read in his mind would mean he’d be unable to speak with his parents as he does. He would fear being cast out of his family, even if he also knows that would never happen.

PATRONUS
Senegal Bushbaby

PATRONUS MEMORY
Having been raised in a loving and warm household, Emmanuel would have a good amount of memories to pick from. Ranging from just any dinner with all of his extended family, to any of the days he spent sitting with his dad at the university.

DEMENTOR
The day they moved to New Zealand, Emmanuel knew it was right for his parents but he deeply loves his family and his life in Nigeria that leaving it behind was just terrible to him. He managed to keep it together for most of the process but the day they left he bawled his eyes out, screaming and distraught over the fact he was needing to leave all he’d loved and known.

VERITISERUM
Emmanuel is the only child of his parents and he would admit that he feels like he won’t be enough for them. That he’ll never be as good as he knows they want him to be even if they always tell him to not worry. He wants to be a good son and worries he never will be.

MIRROR OF ERISED
His top desire right now would be to go back to Nigeria and go to magical school there. He knows he’ll do well in New Zealand and that it’ll be a good education for him, but he does regret and desire to be able to study where his cousins did, and be able to be like them. He’s already very much the odd one out of his family and desires to not always be.

AMORENTIA
There would be a mixture of smells, but the overriding one would be that of his dad’s office. He has spent countless hours in his dad’s office surround by books, parchment, paper, ink everything and the joy he’s always felt at joining his father in his work is one that would leave him to associate that smell with love. A deep love for his family and specifically his father.

I LOOK UP TO
His father.
Emmanuel looks up to both of his parents but primarily he looks up to his father, just with the amount of time he’s spent with him. That he’s been able to figure out that he wants to be like him, to be able to spend time with him and be like him.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS
Emmanuel has been raised in a religious enough country but neither him nor most of his family. He’s been to church before with most of his family.

ZODIAC SIGN
Aries

ZODIAC DESCRIPTION
Aries are fire signs and those born under this element are regarded in astrology as adventurous, active and outgoing. It won’t matter where you go or how remote or unusual it is – from the Outback to the Antarctic – you can be sure that an Aries has been there before you (or at the very least you will meet one along the way!). Aries is a uniquely naive sign. Although they are independent, outgoing and assertive they are also surprisingly trusting, often innocently walking into the lion’s den at times. No matter what upheaval, challenge or triumph they confront – an Aries has a wonderful ability to bounce back. Their faith in life and the future remains untouched by hardship. Their gift is that they are always children at heart and the world is always a magical place for them. Many famous sports people are born under this sign. Aries is regarded as the most physical sign and because of its Mar’s rulership; it is also one of the most highly charged masculine energy signs in astrology. No wonder women born under Aries are forceful, dynamic and aggressive, and as a result, these Aries women frequently find themselves with dilemmas surrounding their romantic relationships. For them, a man has to be a ‘real man’ to deal with an Aries woman, otherwise, she intimidates him. And conversely, for the Aries male, a woman has to be a real woman to deal with him, because he is looking for many balancing component traits (his true feminine side) in his partner. She has to run the gamut in his support system, from the Aries man’s best friend, true companion, through to his muse, and yet she must never ever answer him back! Therefore Aries can be a confusing sign because there is a complex combination of very strong masculine and feminine expressions all combined together. Because of the male energy surrounding it, when a woman is born under Aries, it creates some of the most interesting women in the world, women who are adventurous, independent and have competitive natures. It also tends to make them very forthright.

FIRST THOUGHTS
Having spent a lot of time around the education institutions of his parents work places. That he was actually a little disappointed by it all. It was a little under impressed by it all having spent so much time around bigger and more interesting.

GRADES ACHIEVED
Emmanuel has achieved quite highly in school.

FAVOURITE CLASS
Hands down any history class that he had to do, since he always had a love for the subject and people around him who were interested in it, he knew that this was the class for him.

LEAST FAVOURITE CLASS
Most classes which were not actually lessons and lectures. He liked break time and sports but didn’t enjoy classes with playing, he thought school was for school. He also couldn't admit that he didn't like the play time since so many people did.

SKIPPING CLASS?
He was often out of school to spend time with his parents, furthering his education in other matters. They were firm believers that his education should be wide and far reaching.

SCHOOL CLUBS
He didn’t bother with any clubs, not because of disinterest but because the school lacked them.

POSITIONS ACHIEVED
Emmanuel didn’t get any positions, there weren’t any.

WAND
Curly 10 1/2 Inch Rigid Elm Wand with Augurey Tail Feather Core

WAND DESCRIPTION
Length: A fairly average length for a wand, not at all uncommon or very special.
Style: Great care was taken in crafting this wand's wood to spiral to its point, giving it a beautiful aesthetic quality.
Wood: A complex wand capable of the most advanced magic, Elm does not often make a mistake or fuddle a spell - it is highly dependable to a well matched master.
Core: Since so many wizards are afraid to go near Augureys due to their association as ‘omens of death,’ Augurey tail feathers are rare as wand cores. They are good for use in divination work.
Flexibility: Rigid: A difficult wand to control and sometimes broken under little force, but powerful in a fight.

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAND
Emmanuel's mother's parents had really wanted Emmanuel to go back to their wand creator but he wanted his wand from New Zealand, so he was very eager to have his wand. When he got it it was an amazing wand. He loves the length of the wand, and he likes the Elm wood as it was a dependable wand, and thuse he would be able to focus on it. The augurey core is one that all of his family are sure is a connection to his namesake, and for that he loves it.

SCHOOL
Hogwarts New Zealand

FIRST THOUGHTS
Emmanuel had never heard much about Hogwarts, having been raised on stories of the schools that his family had gone to, he had seen pictures of that school but none of hogwarts. It was pretty amazing as a school, it was a proud castle, something he hadn't seen too often. He got the same impression that his parents and cousins all talked about at their magical schools, it would seemingly hum with magic. He loved it.

HOUSE
Ravenclaw

THOUGHTS WHILE BEING SORTED
Emmanuel wasn't too bothered about being sorted, he was of course eager for it, but he had no allegiance to the houses. He also didn't think he would ever have that much house loyalty. He thought he might fit in in any of the houses, he would be able to make any of them work, but really he was very happy with where he ended up. Ravenlcaw was the house for.

SORTING POST

Emmanuel was very eager for this, he’d managed to contain most of his excitement in the train ride over, but it was all so new and so cool that he was struggling to contain it. He had read a good amount about the school, given that he was the first of his family to go along, and oh boy had it been a page turner. His family had all attended schools closer to home, and it was only because of his father’s work that he was in New Zealand but he welcomed the opportunity to strike out on his own and go to the school here. It just meant he knew he would learn things perhaps a little differently. It did also mean he was eager and unsure of what to expect from the school. It wouldn’t be too different from the stories he’d heard of other schools, after all a school was a school, it didn’t matter where that school was. He had poured over the Hogwarts a history book, one he knew was much more in reference to the other Hogwarts but this was a newer edition with some chapters on this newer school, which really wasn’t so new anymore. Emmanuel had just wanted to feel up to date.

Emmanuel now found himself in amongst lots of other students, he spotted a few familiar faces, Senna, Josh, Lizzie and Kyon, all people he’d met over the last sixth months of being in the area. He had been coming to the magical areas more and more to get used to it, and because he knew it was important for him to be doing things on his own, no matter how often he wanted to spend the time with his dad in his office, or listened to his mother’s most recent talk. He knew he would miss them dearly, they had always showered him with praise and attention and he’d never been apart from either longer than a week but now he was apart from them for a much longer period of time. He knew he would manage, since glancing about there were so many other kids who seemed to manage, but too because he wanted to do them proud and that meant managing.

The crowd of students was brought through the hall, and Emmanuel ended up lingering behind, glancing about the different walls, banners, students and tables, finding the room to be a very interesting place. He knew they would be sorted and knew it was by a hat, and knew there were four houses, but he wondered the flexibility of sitting amongst others. Whether he would be able to join other tables, or if it was rigid. But he reached the other students as the head mistress began speaking, welcoming and reminding apparently all of the students abut how forbidden the forest. He didn’t care for that, so much happier and eager for when the sorting hat began singing. He cheered loudly, louder than most of the other students appeared to, but a magical item like that was such a piece of magic it deserved to be cheered for. And as his book had said, what followed was the actual sorting.

Emmanuel knew he’d be fairly late on, so he watched a good number of the friends he had made go first. He watched them move to tables and he thought it was a rather thing to watch where each of the students before him went. Then he heard his own name. Emmanuel stepped forward confidently, having watched so many students go before him he was perfectly ready for this. He sat down and looked at the students in front of him. Good evening Mr Sorting Hat, it is a great honour to be sorted by you, he wasn’t sure if it would hear the thought but he made sure to greet him properly and tried to indicate a degree of warmth and sincerity with it too. But all there was left now was to be sorted.

SORTING HAT SAID

"Good evening to you. You've got a lot going on up here, always thinking aren't you? And always thinking about helping others too. But it's the knowledge that's most important to you. I can see your parents have influenced you but you've gained an appreciation for it all. You'll thrive in...Ravenclaw!"

CURRENT YEAR
Sixth Year

PREVIOUS YEARS
(Y41) First year: Emmanuel had a good first year of school. He got an O in History of Magic which he was most proud of. He also started up a history club of which he is the preisdent. He made a good amount of friends and was able to do a lot of exploring of the school. It was a really good year. He went to the halloween feast without a costume, because he hadn't really bothered with one. He went to the yuleball alone, but spent the time with his friends. He went to quidditch games and had a good time. It was a really good first year.
(Y42) Second Year: Emmanuel came back to second year excited, he had a history club meeting and managed to get a couple more people to sign up to it. which was very fun. Emmanuel also took part in the three legged race with Josh Lynch coming in fourth place which he was very happy with. He took part in the duelling but didn't manage to get that far in it. He got an O in history and was overall very pleased with how the year went.
(Y43) Third Year: Emmanuel had been told by his extended family that he should try a bit harder in his classes. He wasn't sure but did want to make them proud so did try and spend a little more time on his gclasses. he didn't really struggle with it, since he has always been quite smart but only ever applied himself in history. He managed to get good O grades in all of his classes. Emmanuel also had a good time at the dances, dancing with both Penny and Daria at the yuleball and having a good time at the valentines. Overall, he jsut had a good year,
(Y44) fourth Year: Emmanuel came back to Hogwarts ready, he had managed perfect grades in the year prior and was going to continue with that in this year. He tried out for quidditch though thankfully didn't get on to the team. He made more friends and spent time on a double friend/ish date with Penny, Marnie and Emrys. He worked hard over the year and went to the dances as he always did, having a really good time. It was a quieter year for him, but good nonetheless.
(y45) Fifth Year: Emmanuel at the beginning of the year had asked Penny out on a date and the two were officially a couple. He didn't mind it much, since he liked her and wanted it. They shared a first kiss and went to both dances together. He did break up with her mid-way through the year, when he was sure that his feelings for her were not the sort that meant he wanted to date her. He used the excuse of needing to study, and focus on his OWLs. He got through his OWLs with ease, getting O's in all of them.

BEST CLASS
Emmanuel's best class and favourite class is history. He loves history and all types of history. He likes what they learn and how they learn it. It's an engaging class to him though he's definitely not biased to it because of his family. History just means so much to him as a class, it just makes sense as a class. It's always got a solid answer.

WORST CLASS
Herbology, as much as he doesn't fail this class, he finds some elements of this class good and then didn't like. Emmanuel isn't bad at the subject. he just doesn't really like it all that much.
