Summer Lakeside Party (Heta + BoM meeting | S2)

Christian knew very little about Heta Omega or who was in the group so he wasn't sure what to expect when he arrived for the joint party between the group and the brotherhood. He made his way down and listened to the two speeches by the group leaders and proceeded to mingle among the group.

Chloë observed the older girl when she sighed at the sight of her. Right, so she definitely didn't seem like she was up for any company. Or at least not her company. She still wasn't going to let that throw her off, though. "Why did you come to the party if you're just going to sit away from everyone?" The gryffindor asked right off the bat. She didn't mean to be rude or anything, she was just curious about the girl. She was assigned to be her older sister after all, so Chloë was allowed to ask her questions, right? Even if the older girl found her annoying. Wasn't that what siblings were for? Even if they weren't actually siblings.

"Hey! It was a realy good and i spend more time with my mom and dad and my twin brother Max. How was your holiday? " Clara asked the girl with hapily voice and she was a realy miss the girl. "I miss you to!" She gave her a big friendship hug.

The last place Simon wanted to be was at a dumb lake party for a club he barely wanted to be apart of. But he figured if he ever wanted any kind of social life or rebuild any semblance of a reputation he would have to kick the anti-social cloud that seemed to be permanently following him around since he got to this school. So he he plastered on a pleasant expression and glanced around to see if there was anyone worth his time as he barely paid attention to what the club presidents had to say. It was at least refreshing that they were doing a group event with Heta Omega, it promised to make it a little interesting.

Evan smiled and threw her arms around her friend, she had been looking forward to seeing her again. "I'm glad we're back at Hogwarts now though. It felt kind of strange being in my hometown with no magic!" Evan was so pleased to be back around magic again, and she was very excited about starting classes again and learning more. "I wonder what is going to happen at this party?" @Clara McCarthy

Sully had been keen for the beach party the minute he heard about it, which had admittedly been about 20 minutes before they were supposed to be there, but still. One day he'd actually remember brotherhood stuff, he swore. He'd always known bringing his togs to school would come in handy, even if finding volunteers to jump into the lake was tricky most days, but now at least Sully was fully kitted out in his togs and jandals.

Once the introductions were over, Sully wasted no time digging up a cricket bat and tennis ball, calling out to Abian. "Hey pres, cricket?" He called, tossing the ball and whacking it with the bat over to Abian before moving to set up the wickets. You couldn't do a beach party.. lake party thing without some cricket. @Abian Hunter

Lysander laughed as Emma joined him, and scooped up a handful of water to splash at her as she raced against him. "Nuh-uh, I'm the fastest!" He chuckled, sloshing through the water with more vigor to try and overtake her. He made a dive for the beach ball spinning lazily on the surface of the water, and wrapped his arms around it to keep himself afloat in the less-shallow depths. "I'm the winner!" He called out, splashing the area around him for extra measure. He paused to look back at Nicole slowly wading in from the shore, and raised his arm to wave toward her. "Come on, Nicole! You have to dive in all the way!" He shouted to her. Slow and steady did not win the race when it came to cold water, and he flailed his legs in the water to send small waves in her direction to help, though the brief ripples didn't make it very far out.

Teddy was glad to be back at Hogwarts, although all the excitement from returning to school had left him wanting to curl up somewhere with a book. A party didn't sound like his idea of fun, but Teddy doubted his family would approve if word got out that he spent all his time in the library. There was no way Teddy was going to brave the freezing lake, but he saw one of the Heta girls collecting rocks. His little sister liked rocks - maybe Teddy could find some to send to her with his next letter. He made his way over to the slightly older Ravenclaw and started scanning the nearby shore, trying not wanting to be intrusive in case she wished to be left alone.

Diana scowled at the girl's question. Why had she been saddled by the one younger sister who was exceedingly annoying? She lowered her sunglasses over her eyes again, breaking eye contact. "Because I feel like it." She said with disinterest. "There's plenty of girls your age to play with if you want to." She added, hoping the girl would take the hint. Having real life sisters was bad enough, but at least Alice was now old enough not to bother her like this, and Lucy was still too young.

@Chloe Thompson

Jasper laughed and ran after the ball once it flew past him, the other boy definitely knew how to kick. He tried his best to kick it back at him with as much force. "Ha!" He said after kicking it into the air so it flew in his direction. "Beat this!" This had little to do with the rules of muggle football, he thought, but at least it was fun.

@Jacob Kingsley

Abian grinned as he watched everyone have a good time. He cast a glance over at the kids in the lake, but figured they would be fine. The Heta Omega president had warned them against going in too deep, so surely it would be fine, right? He turned his head when he heard someone call out to him, turning his head just in time to be hit by the tennis ball. Thankfully, it hit him in the shoulder, not the face, but he still stumbled back a little. "Oh, whoa!" He said, then laughed. "If you teach me the rules, sure!"

@Solomon Tofilau

Tyler scowled at the girl, who was somehow speaking back to him. He hadn't expected that. "Go away." He told her, moving away from her as much as he could. He glared as she splashed water at him, but decided to just turn away from her and ignore her. "Stupid kids" He muttered under his breath, swimming further away from the shore to get away from her.

@Adorah Zumwalt

Chloë wondered why this girl had even joined the club in the first place. Why join a club where social interaction is encouraged when you want to avoid social interacting? "Fine." The youngster replied slightly annoyed. She wasn't one to give up easily but she also wasn't going to waste her energy on someone who isn't a lot of fun anyways. "You're definitely no fun anyways." She shrugged with her arms crossed before she turned around and walked away. It was just her luck that she got assigned to a girl that didn't even care. She was still sure that she wanted to stay in the club though, so perhaps next year things would be better. More fun. Nevertheless Chloë wasn't going to let it ruin her fun so she moved around looking for something else to do or someone else to talk to.

@Diana Holland

"Nuh-uh!" Emma argued, frowning as she pushed herself through the water as fast as she could. But as Lysander grabbed the ball, Emma groaned. She shrieked and splashed back at him. "C'mon! Throw it!" She then called to him, as she moved back a bit so she could catch it. When he called to Nicole, Emma turned her head to follow his gaze. She laughed at the sight of the Slytherin. "Come on! We can take him on together!" She called to the Slytherin, pointing at Lysander. "Girl power! But you can't be a wuss!"

@Lysander Summers @Nicole Fisk

Adorah frowned when the boy turned away from her and started to swim back to the shore. She was surprised that he dismissed socializing so much. Maybe the brotherhood boys were not the nicest folks. She was swimming into the shallow end and noticed a familiar face. Wading nearer, she raised her hand and waved. "Hi, Alexis!" she called.

@Alexis Kramer

Jacob watched the ball fly into the air and figured he'd try something he'd seen in muggle football. He tried to gauge where the ball was going to come down and hit it back with his head. The ball was on its way down and Jacob bounced up meeting it with his head. As it bounced off, Jacob let out a loud groan. "Owwwwwwww" he continued as he grabbed the top of his head. That hurt far more than he'd expected. "Why on Earth do muggles do that?!" he exclaimed.
@Jasper Night

Sully stifled a laugh when he managed to hit Abian with the tennis ball. It hadn't been his intention, but it was pretty funny. Maybe Sully should have tried out for beater instead of chaser. "Oh no way, you've never played?" Sully said, shocked. He swung the bat across his shoulders, wrapping his arms around them and letting them hang there as he nodded his to get Abian to come over. It was weird Abian'd never played cricket, but then again there was a lot of wizard stuff Sully didn't know about too. And this way it meant he'd probably win. "Okay, no worries, it's easy as. So you just need to hit this ball and run back and forth to score points. The team pitching is trying to hit the wickets behind you to get you out," He said simply. There was a lot more to cricket, but Sully always found that stuff boring. "Here, you bat first, it's easy enough," Sully offered, passing Abian the bat before setting up the three wickets and drawing a line on the ground for Abian to run to.
@Abian Hunter

Iris had spent a bit of time picking up rocks, when she noticed a girl had joined him. Iris smiled at him, picking up another rock and holding it out to him. "Do you want to join me?" She asked him, getting the feeling that he was a little shy. "There's nice ones here." She said, gesturing around with her other hand.

@Theodore Hoshino

Nicole didn't know how Emma and Lysander could just rush off into the water like that. There was Merlin knows what lurking around in the mud that they had to be stirring up, not to mention it was still cold. "Stupid Gryffindors," She muttered to herself squealing again as she steeled herself to push off onto her stomach to paddle over to them. "Not a wuss!" She announced when she reached them, though Nicole was making every attempt to only brush the very tips of her toes on the ground hidden beneath them. If anything touched her foot she was out of this lake before you could say boggart.
@Emma van Houten @Lysander Summers

Lysander grinned and held the ball above his head, paddling backwards to give himself some more space. "Okay, okay!" He chuckled, getting ready to toss it towards the two of them. He briefly looked over at the leaders, in case they were paying any attention to how far he'd been floating out, before fixing his attention back on his friends. "You guys don't stand a chance, I'm unbeatable!" He called out, before pelting the inflatable ball overhead with a smack of his fist. It wasn't nearly the same as hitting a bludger with a bat, which would have been totally useful to have right now to give it that much more airtime.
