Party Hard

Corrine could not believe she'd let Xena talk her into coming to this party. And even more, she couldn't believe she'd let Xena talk her into this dress . Tugging it down with the hand that was not latched with Xena's own, Corrine tried to match her friend's confidence as they made their way into the Gryffindor's house. She only barely knew Lizzie. They shared a common room, but that was pretty much it. But a party was a party, and there hadn't seemed to be a need to have an invitation per se, a fact Corrine and Xena had discussed before hatching their plan on what to tell their guardians. "Merlin, everyone is here Xena" she said in a low voice, more grateful than she'd ever let on that she had Xena for company. "Come on. Let's walk around more" she tugged down her dress once more. If she was going to be dressed this way, she needed to make the most of it.

Lizzie's kiss burned on Hayley's cheek; a good burn, a hyper-awareness of that spot where Lizie's lips had touched her cheek. This was still so new, and it felt so good. She hoped, with distant amusement at herself, that her girlfriend's bright red lipstick had left a mark. Still grinning, astonished by the casualness of that gesture, she slipped her arm into Lizzie's. "Thanks. It's great to see you!" Lizzie would have to do the gracious host thing for quite a while, Hayley guessed, and she didn't know most of these people, but she was happy to stay by her side. "This is a pretty cool place, you've set it up really well. How did you convince your parents to leave us alone?"

Not normally one for parties, Aaron was a little bit nervous about going to Lizzie's place. He didn't know what to wear or what time was best to get there or anything. He had added pressure because he knew that Anabelle would be there too. The two Sixth years had been writing to each other constantly and they had planned to meet at the party. It would be the first time that Aaron would be seeing her since the school year had ended and his nerves were getting the better of him already, and he hadn't even left the house! He threw on his new Jacket that he had bought for the party when he went shopping with Lucas only a few days ago and walked downstairs while he waited for Lucas to get ready.

Aaron sighed and tugged on the front of his jacket, it was now or never. Leila and Jess were making their own way to the party with James as Aaron had already told them that he had already planned to go with Lucas. So the siblings departed separately but they would see each other again soon enough. Aaron walked up to the front door of Lizzie's place and exhaled deeply "oh god... here we go" he mumbled to Lucas who was standing right beside him. He pushed open the door and was met with laughter and loud chatter. There were quite a lot of people here already which made him worried that he wouldn't be able to find Anabelle. Why didn't they pick a place to meet so they could find each other easier?

He saw Evelyn across the room and he smiled and waved at her before quickly glancing at Lucas. He didn't know what was going on between the two Gryffindor's these days but he knew that he didn't want anything to kick off again like at the Valentine's Ball. He decided that he would go over and speak to her. Lucas and Evelyn had to speak again sometime and he was tired of being in the middle of it all. "Hey Ev! How are you? he asked her before turning to Lizzie "great party! There's so many people here already!" he laughed while scanning the crowd once more for any sign of Anabelle.

As Odette watched people arrive, she noticed more and more students in her own year. She saw the Branning twins who went to talk to Lizzie, the host. Then she noticed Xena Dragonslayer, a girl from her own dormitory. Odette hesitated. The two weren't friends. She could hardly recall ever talking to her, in fact, but perhaps she should change that. As she approched, she noticed she was with another girl. Corrine? Something like that. A Gryffindor, but not a member of Harley's little crew. "Hey." She said to the two of them, unsure if they would want her around. But she was tired of standing on her own in a corner. "Nice dress." She told the Gryffindor with a small nod at her outfit, then she turned her attention to Xena. "You look nice too." She added. She was wearing a simple black dress herself, one she was fairly sure she had worn to one of the dances at Hogwarts once too. Already, she was regretting her decision in walking over here. They probably wanted to be alone, as they were clearly friends. Now here she was, awkwardly hanging on. Maybe she would just find some excuse to leave them after a few moments of small-talk. That sounded like the best course of action.

Lucas was nervous about the party which bothered him as he wasn't the nervous type but ever since things had ended with Zoe he couldn't stop think about Evelyn and what it meant for the two of them now they were both single. She liked him, he liked her but could it ever be that simple between the two of them? A lot had been said over the years from both of them, could they just let it all go and be together, they'd hurt each other on numerous occasions. Lucas didn't know if he could trust himself not to hurt her again.

One thing that had provided a distraction was the fact that Aaron was equally as nervous for the party and it seemed that a girl was also the reason for his nerves. Aaron was a head of him on a lot of things, maturity, school and other boring things but for some reason he'd always been a little behind on the girl department which baffled Lucas as his best friend was no slouch, but finally Aaron had come to play and he hadn't done too badly for himself. Aaron will you relax, you two have been writing nonstop, the only difference is she gets to take in all this while she talks to you," He said waving his hands over him. Lucas slapped his best friend on the shoulder as a sign of encouragement. "You got this man,"

The pair made their way into the party and found their way to a croup of Gryffindors which included Evelyn. Lucas's was in knots, and doing backflips, it was all very uncomfortable and exhilarating at the same time. No one had ever made him feel that way other than her and he both loved and hated it. "Lizzie the party looks amazing you've done a great job," He said to the host before his eyes landed on Evelyn. Lucas felt himself take a sharp intake of breath as he saw what his fellow Gryffindor was wearing. Evelyn always looked amazing but she had knocked it out the park again and he couldn't help but wonder if it was for his benefit. "Evey you look beautiful," Lucas said smiling at her, not really caring who was around them.

The most anticipated party of the year had arrived and Leila was so excited to go to Lizzie's party with her best friend and she couldn't wait to start dancing and having a great time with her. It was surprisingly easy to convince Jess to go to the party with her considering everything that had happened last year. After the tough year that Jess had experienced, Leila was determined to make sure that Jess would get out more and have lots of fun and it seemed like that would be starting tonight. The two Gryffindor's helped each other to get ready and it was nice to see Jess smiling and getting excited again. She missed her bubbly best friend and it was great to see her coming out of her shell once more.

The girls had planned to attend the party with James as Aaron was making his own way there already. Leila was a bit annoyed that her brother wasn't joining them but she knew that he had his own friends like she did. They group apparated together and Leila's hand never left Jess' from the moment they left the house to the second that they entered the party. She joined James in thanking the older Gryffindor for the party and she was about to suggest to Jess that they go and get a drink but Jess had other ideas in mind and whispered to Leila that she would be back in a minute. Confused, she watched her best friend make her way over to Geo and she felt that familiar sinking feeling in her stomach.

Her eyes filled with tears as she watched Geo and Jess engage in a long awaited embrace. The two looked so happy to see each other again and it was as if the past year hadn't happened. Leila knew the two girls had strong feelings for each other and she supposed it was good that they were speaking again but she couldn't deal with being left out again. She wouldn't. She rushed out of the room, banging into people as she left and ran out into the garden. Her tears fell freely when she was alone and she hugged herself to try and stop herself crying. It was stupid to cry. She was being silly. She needed her sister.

Hayden wasn't usually one for parties, they were filled with people and he wasn't a big fan of those but a party full of near strangers was preferable to being at home listening to the excited ramblings of his brother Caspian. If he was asked about the most interesting hiding spots in the Hogwarts castle one more time he swore he might actually have to strangle the kid. Hayden didn't know Lizzie personally but he knew her as a Quidditch opponent so she wasn't a total stranger. There was a bit of buzz about the Gryffindor throwing a party so Hayden decided he would go along even it risked him running into his ex girlfriend.

Deciding not to let that worry him too much Hayden made his way into the lodge where the party was being held. It was cute and the venue had been done up quite well, Hayden was almost impressed. After introducing himself to the host Hayden went to grab himself a drink. His eyes scanned the room and landed on a group of students in his year, included one particular girl in his year who he's always admired. Perhaps now would be a good time to move in, or at least it would be if she wasn't currently talking to Odette. Of course she was. The first thing he noticed was she had gone back to blonde, he couldn't help but smile at the detail, it was much more her and hopefully it was a sign that she had worked through whatever she had going on the previous year, something Hayden had failed spectacularly to support her through. Hayden decided to throw caution to the wind and hoped that Odette was in a place that she wasn't angry with him any more and approached the group. Odette wasn't his primary focus so she needn't worry about him bothering her. "Hey all," Hayden said but the greeting just didn't feel right coming out his mouth, almost like it was too friendly for his own liking. "How is everyone enjoying the party?" He asked the group. Hayden made eye contact with Odette so it was clear he wasn't ignoring her but he didn't address her specifically either.

Evelyn thought a party was the best distraction from all the things that happend this year at Hogwarts. Ofcourse there was a chance that Lucas would come to the party, but Evelyn didn't mind. she actually had counted on it, and secretly hoped he would. But she figured he would come with Zoe perhaps. Evelyn was glad though that lots of her friends were here. She knew Amber didn't liked Lizzie much, but still she came. When Amber responded at her she smiled. The blonde was glad that Amber would introduce her to Ainsley. '' I can't wait!'' she said to Amber. Evelyn had never really spoke to Ainsley before, and she seemed a lot different than she herself was. But the blonde learned herself to not judge too early. People seemed to be doing that with herself sometimes and she hated it. More and more people seemed to be coming in and she was wondering how many people would come. A party always did the blonde good. She tried to forget her badge was taken away from Kingsley. Evelyn didn't liked Kingsley for that but she hoped to start clean next year with her head of house. But that was for after the break. The blonde figured she could treat herself with lots of shopping soon. Perhaps she would ask Fleur to come along with her. She could saw Denmark, her birth country too. Speaking of Fleur she hoped her friend would also come, with Riley perhaps. Evelyn smiled as Lizzie seemed to be happy with the cupcakes. '' You are very welcome!'' Ofcourse the blonde hadn't made them herself. She ordered them, by her favorite sweets and cupcake store. The blonde went to muggle stores a lot together with her dad. Evelyn thought the muggles were very interesting. And they had real talent for cupcakes at least, and fashion ofcourse.

Evelyn stood along with some fellow Gryffindors and than heard a familliar voice behind her. Her name got shortened and there were two boys mostly doing that. When Evelyn turned around she saw Aaronand next to him Lucas.. She had spoken with Aaron before the year ended in the common room and saw him as one of herb est friends. She, Aaron and Lucas were spending a lot of time together in their first years. Thinking of that made her smile. But it was also painfull how things were going after that. Aaron and she were prefects together and the blonde never thought that would be possible. Aaron was mostly dragged along with Lucas in all of his adventures and stuff. But it was a fact that Aaron behaved himself better than Evelyn did previous year. He hadn't hit anyone, and did what he had to do. '' Hi Aaron! I'm better. Try to forget everything that happend. And this party is perfect for it. '' It was kind of hard to tell you felt terrible, because of the person who stood there too. But ofcourse Aaron knew what happend. '' How are you? Strange that Maddie is leaving the school right? But she made me president of Heta Omega, really sweet of her. '' Getting that title was the one positive thing in a while the blonde was getting. Evelyn wasn't sure what Lucas would think of her hitting Zenia. The blonde joked a bit about the party being there for her to forget stuff, but what did she else had to do? Cry all the time of the things that went wrong. Losing her badge and getting rejected by your true love, were the only things that went wrong in her life. But those were big things, for a girl that was used to having a perfect life. Than Evelyn looked over to Lucas who suprisingly spoke to her. The way he complimented her made her stomach turn around in a good way. Lucas just had to snap with his fingers ant Evelyn felt under his spell. It was so annoying, she wanted to let him know how much he hurted her. But by looking at her like that and telling her she looked beautiful she was under his spell. The blonde sighted for a moment, but figured this was a start of talking really to eachother again perhaps. Though she figured why he was telling her that. '' Thanks Luc..'' the blonde started of and smiled shortly. '' So where is your girlfriend? I don't want to be the badguy again.'' The blonde said and there was some irritation in her voice. She loved Lucas ofcourse, but she was hurt by him too and he could know that.

sorry for my huge post

James had come into the lodge with his sister and Leila and almost within minutes he had lost them both. After making some small talk with his old teammates James decided to make sure he knew where his family were. He spotted Jess with Geo but there was no Leila. That wasn't a good sign. James knew Leila had complicated feelings about Jess and Geo's relationship, jealousy was a Walden family trait it seemed and while she would be seething at the sight of Jess in Geo's arms James also knew that Leila wasn't Maddie. Whereas Maddie would be over there making a scene and fighting for her Jess equivalent (himself more often than not) he knew Leila was more likely elsewhere.

After scanning the room for signs of either Leila or somewhere she could be hiding. There was nowhere so the only conclusion James could reach was that she was outside. James made his way out into the garden and as he suspect he found Leila, curled up hugging her knees tears flowing. James's heart went out to the girl, though he didn't quite understand the level of jealousy Leila felt regarding Jess hanging out with someone else. Perhaps there was more to the girls feelings toward his sister. "Leila whats wrong?" He asked taking a seat on the ground beside her.

Amber smiled at Evelyn's enthusiasm. Ainsley wasn't very social or very popular, but in Amber's opinion she was the best person she had ever known. If anyone was mean to her girlfriend, she wouldn't let that slide. Though she thought Evelyn wouldn't be mean. If anything, she would just be a bit blunt. A few other peole appeared, and Amber quickly lost track of who exactly was where. She smiled at Aaron, though they had never really talked he seemed nice. But when Evelyn casually mentioned she was now president of Heta Omega, Amber felt a little disappointed. She had hoped for the position as well. But she knew that Evelyn would do a good job, so she quickly smiled at her friend. "Really? Congratulations!" She said eagerly. Though perhaps her enthusiasm was a little put on to cover up her disappointment. She didn't want Evelyn to think she wasn't happy for her. But then Lucas appeared and Amber frowned at him. The two had never talked much, but she wasn't sure how much she liked him. He was a troublemaker and always seemed to be dating some girl, and she could easily remember how hurt Evelyn had been last year. Privately, she had thought it wasn't very smart of her to confess her feelings to a boy with a girlfriend so publicly, but she was nothing if not a loyal friend. She stepped closer to Evelyn protectively. "It's getting so crowded here." She commented. "If you want, we can go outside for a bit Evelyn." She didn't think the girl would especially want to, but if she was looking for a way out of this conversation Amber would want to offer her one. She glanced at Lucas sideways. "Oh, hi." She said shortly, as if she just noticed him.

Rose had heard about the party from her friend Hayley, and after asking a few hundred times if she could go, her parents had allowed her to. They weren't supposed to be staying very long, and their dad would pick them up, but Rose was happy. Phoebe was with her as well, though Rose lost track of her younger sister almost as soon as she walked into the lodge. She beamed and waved at Lizzie from a distance, realizing there was no use in trying to talk to her now as everyone seemed to be trying to do that. Hayley was at Lizzie's side, though, and Rose would be sure to catch up with them both later. First, she wanted to scope out the snacks. That was clearly the most important part of any party. With a spring in her step, she made her way to the snack table and started trying a few things. She wondered if Charlie would come too, the idea of seeing her boyfriend here making her stomach feel fluttery. It would be nice. She glanced around for more people she knew, spotting Autumn and giving her a small wave. It was very busy, so Rose had no doubt she would find someone to talk to soon.

Going to a party was a teenage experience Ainsley had never really expected to happen, to be often. She didn't spend a lot of time around the kinds of people who threw big parties, and large noisy crowds weren't an environment she really found enjoyable. As much as she loved the school balls Ainsley often found the volume of both people and noise so much that it became difficult to enjoy after a while, and she imagined that a party could only be much worse. But Amber was going to be here, and she was yearning to see her girlfriend again. It had been difficult to part at the end of the term, and Ainsley had been counting down until this event, ready to see Amber again. The room was much more crowded than she had expected and she slipped in with a nervous smile to Lizzie, peering around the room in hopes of seeing Amber. Her eyes locked on Amber quickly, and Ainsley made her way past people to her, hurrying to wrap Amber in a tight hug. "Amber!" She said happily, already feeling better about the environment with Amber by her side. "I missed you so much."

Lucas was glad to see everyone but in that moment what he really wanted was to be alone with Evelyn. He needed to tell her how he felt and that he was ready to give her everything she wanted from him. Lucas was so proud to hear that she had been appointed Heta Omega president, he knew how much the group meant to her so to now lead it was an amazing achievement for the girl. "Evey thats amazing, congratulations," He beamed at her. Lucas frowned when Evelyn mentioned his girlfriend. The new clearly hadn't reached her that they had broken up, which meant he would have to be the one to tell her which thinking about it, he preferred. "No girlfriend," He said looking around at the group around them. "We broke up,"

Sophie snorted. "It makes you look different too. Obviously." She said, smiling slightly. "But it really does look nice." She was glad to hear Caro was excited, and turned to look around at some other guests. "Do you know who is coming from our year?" She paused. "Isaac might come." She added, feeling her cheeks heat up slightly as she mentioned her boyfriend. "Maybe I can introduce you two."

The party filled up fast. Sophie spotted Leila and Jess and felt a pang in her chest. She hadn't spoken to the two Gryffndors in so long, and somehow she was sure neither girl missed her much. She saw Jess go over to Geo and forced herself to look away. But then her eye fell on Gabriel and she scoffed. She nudged Caro. "Can you kick someone out?" She half-joked. She had told Caro about her dislike for the Gryffindor before, but without meeting him Caro probably wouldn't know why he was so bad. Sophie rolled her eyes at what he shouted, and pointedly turned her back on him. Then she spotted Isaac, who seemed to be looking around for someone. Her? She hoped so. Hesitantly, she raised her hand and waved at him, hoping he would spot her and come over.

Isaac was contemplating leaving the party there and then. With no such luck at finding Sophie and with the large number of people surrounding him he wanted nothing more than to forget the ordeal entirely. Just as he was about to turn, a wave caught his eye and he gave the girl a nod, sighing a breath of relief and it meant he wouldn't have made the trip for nothing. Squeezing himself through the students, all too seemingly distracted with excitement to notice the Ravenclaw pushing past, he eventually made his through. "Wilson," he said a little stiffly. He was pleased to see her and had actually been looking forward to spend more time with her, but he wasn't a fan of being submerged in the centre of so many people. He would much prefer them to be in the distance where he could have observed from afar. Isaac was not relaxed in social situations, and whereas he may have greeting his girlfriend with a hug outside of the lodge, he proceeded to simply remain stationary at her side. "Enjoying yourself?" he asked her, glancing between the brunette and her friend.

Lily wasn't sure if she'd made the right choice coming to the party, but when Kaia not only remembered her but began to chat, the Hufflepuff smiled and nodded her head. "I've just been focusing on work but I wanted to get out a bit more," she replied, knowing that it sounded a little strange to anyone who had friends. She felt like anything she was going to ask would be a stupid question, and that if she hadn't been living under a rock for the last few years she would be caught up. That being said she was never going to know anything if she didn't ask, so pushing down her insecurities she pressed on. "How have you been? Are you friends with Lizzie?" she said, glad to have at least remembered the name of the elder girl that was hosting the party.

Jess smiled at Geo, her words truly warmed her heart and in that moment she felt like they really would be able to put the last year behind them."It means a lot to hear you say that and I missed you too," She said giving her another quick hug. The mood of their conversation changed dramatically in an instant as Geo began pleading with her to hide her. Jess looked on in confusion as Geo started to change her face. At first she looked like she was taking on male features which didn't make much sense if she wanted to hide. "Geo, what? who?" But her questions were cut off when she noticed Geo change again this time into Elly. Jess grabbed Geo's hand and pulled her into the empty bathroom and closed the door behind them. "Geo talk to me, who are we hiding from?" She asked looking at her best friend who now looked like she had decided to dress up as Elly for Halloween.

Geo let her friend pull her into another room, grateful for her assistance given the weight her legs were currently feeling. She turned to the blonde, leaving against the door as it closed behind her, catching her breath for a second and letting her heart rate slow so she could let her know what was happening. It was strange to feel comfortable opening up to someone she'd not spoken to for so long, as well as someone she used to date, but the way Jess had come across in the last few minutes had shown her she had her best friend back, and Geo trusted her like a sister. "It's um..Did you see the boy that just came in with his sister? The Branning twins?" Geo said nervously, only admitting to herself for the first time that what she was feeling was a little different to anything she'd had before, even with Jess. Her stomach was in knots and it was impossible to tell if it was a good or bad thing. "Look I don't think he likes me. We spoke a few times but whenever we do he's always in a hurry to disappear." She hadn't exactly said outright that she liked him, but given how easily friendship came to the Hufflepuff it was hard to disguise her emotions. It wasn't as though this was her natural behaviour. She should have been brave enough to just go out there, face anyone that came to the party, but the last few weeks she felt as though she was slipping down a path that was only going to end badly. "I can't talk to him right now." Even to herself it sounded ridiculous, but if she could distract herself enough that she could carry on with her life then she was going to have to be honest to those closest to her. "Didn't you come with Leila?" she asked the Gryffindor, wondering what happened to their friend when she'd approached her a few moments before, her features returning to her usual self just in case Elly happened to join the party.

Listening to Geo talk about what was going on felt strange. Geo had always been the most self assured person she'd ever met, even more than her brother which was saying a lot. It really hammered home how long it had been since they had been on speaking terms to see how much Geo had changed. Hearing her talk about her feelings for someone else would once have torn Jess up inside but now she was filled with a desire only to support her friend, though when she suggested that the boy didn't like her she wanted to slap her. "You're kidding right? Have you seen yourself? Not to mention you're amazing and one of the most intelligent and capable people I've ever known and my uncles running for Minister for freaking magic," Of course Jess was saying all this with zero context. She knew knew the male Branning twin only as the Hufflepuff beater. "Austin Branning, he's kinda shy right? Bit awkward? Maybe he bolts all the time because of that, maybe its because he DOES like you and it freaks him out," It was the only logical thing for her. "Has anything happened between you?" She asked wondering for the sake of context.

At the mention of Leila Jess covered her mouth with her hands. "Oh god I said I'd be right back," Jess freaked wondering if Leila had seen her run off with Geo. "Okay you have two options, you come with me to find Leila or you go talk to that shy, awkward hunk, whats it gonna be?" Jess asked with her arms folded.

At Jess's words, Geo was quickly stunned into silence as she listened to the praise coming from her mouth. Growing up without her own family she had only ever been considered as one of many, and since joining Hogwarts she'd done her best to try and stand out, to show that she was more than just a figure or a statistic that would eventually be swept under the carpet once she was no longer in sight. Geo barely heard that Jess thought there was a possibility that he liked her too, not yet unable to stop repeating her previous sentence in her head. The Hufflepuff nodded nervously, although when Jess didn't seem fazed she felt as though it would be alright to open up about it. "I guess. I er. We kissed at new years," she said quietly, thinking back to that evening. Technically it had been twice, and she was pretty sure he had kissed her the second time. Perhaps she was overthinking it and Jess was right. They'd spoken later in the month after Quidditch too, and while things were a little awkward, Geo wasn't entirely sure where they stood. Geo gave a small laugh as she realised that she'd pulled Jess away from their friend. Not because it was funny, especially for Leila's sake, but the last time she'd seen the girls they'd barely been able to separate themselves. She stood up straighter, leaning away from the door and straightening out her dress. She was going to need to leave the bathroom one way or anything and intended to do so looking her best. Geo had been pushed out of pairing between the friends herself, and knowing how close Jess and Leila were she wasn't going to stand by and do nothing to fix it. She turned to her best friend with a self assured smile, before pulling open the bathroom door once more. She was just going to have to bury the issue of Austin for a later date. "Let's go find us a Gryffindor."

Xena grinned at Corrine when she commented on everyone being there. That was why they couldn't miss it! She giggled slightly when Corrine tugged on her dress again, and she playfully and gently whacked her. "Leave it, you look fine!" Xena moved to walk forward, unsure where to go but happy to walk around and judge what people were wearing, when another girl approached them, Odette as she knew her. Xena stopped, watching the girl as she spoke to Corrine, before commenting on Xena's outfit. It felt like an afterthought, but the Slytherin girl took it anyway, never one to deny a compliment. Plus, Odette was looking good, and Xena also couldn't deny that. "You're not too bad yourself." Xena replied with a smile, though she knew she looked better than her. There was an awkward pause, Xena's eyes narrowing only slightly, wondering if Odette had something more to say or if she was going to join them for the evening. Before Xena could invite her to hang with them, a particularly good looking older boy joined them. She put on her best smile, one of her hands subconsciously moving to play with her hair. "Well, the music could be better, and I'd enjoy some dancing, but it's a party so I can't complain." Xena replied lightly, the smile still on her face. "I'm Xena." She said, moving forwards, holding out her hand.

Going alone to a party was not something Anabelle would ever have envisioned herself doing. She knew she could have asked Sheridan to go along with her, but then she would feel bad if she ended up ditching him to hang out with Aaron. He was, after all, the only reason she was going. It had taken her awhile to get ready, but Anabelle figured a simple black dress would suffice; she had worn it before, but this time she knew she'd wear it better. She had gotten better at doing hair and make up, and she wanted to look perfect. Anabelle and Aaron had been writing to each other, and at the mention of the party, she knew she couldn't pass up another opportunity to see the boy again.
Arriving at the party, Anabelle felt butterflies going crazy in her stomach. But she breathed deeply, pushing them away while she looked for Aaron. There were so many people already, so she slowly made her way inside, her eyes trying to take in everyone who was there, while still looking for someone in particular. She knew of the other people that were there, but she didn't know them by name, and while Anabelle enjoyed her solitude, it was embarrassing that there wasn't anybody else there that she could call a friend. Finally, she spotted Aaron, and though he was in a group of other people, there was no turning back. Taking more deep breaths, Anabelle approached the group, smiling at them as she arrived. "Hey." She greeted Aaron softly, before turning to look at the other people in the group as well, smiling at them.

Jess felt like her eyes were going to bust out of her skull in surprise when Geo told her she and the Branning boy had kissed. "You make it sound like you've been admiring him from afar, way to bury the lead Geo," If she wasn't convinced that Austin liked her back before she was certain of it now. No kisses Geo Volt and doesn't feel anything. "Merlin's beard Geo go kiss the damn boy," She almost yelled. It was odd giving her ex girlfriend relationship advice but not for the reasons she'd expect, it almost felt right like she and Geo had finally found their right level of friendship.

When Geo told her they were to go and find Leila Jess sighed and raised fingers to the bridge of her noise. "Fine lets go find Leila but this isn't over Geovanna Volt," Her own love life might have been as dead as a dodo but that didn't mean she'd let the same happen to Geo's. "Coast is clear lets go," She said after peering out of the bathroom door.

Hayden couldn't deny that Odette looked amazing, he recognised the dress as she had warn it to one of the dances they'd attended together. It was difficult at first but she couldn't be the one he focused on, luckily for him Xena seemed quite receptive to his attention. He smirked when she mentioned that the music could be better and that she was hoping to dance at some point. "Well if the music improves to your level of taste maybe I'll get you out for a dance," He smiled at her as he reached for a drink. The rest of the group seemed nice enough but Hayden had no problem focusing his attention on Xena. "I'm Hayden, nice to meet you," He said taking her hand and lifting it to place a kiss on the back of her hand.

Harley had never in her life actually been excited about going home for the holidays before. Spending time with her parents was unfortunate, but there were so many things to enjoy about this year's holidays. Time at home with Odette, with none of their classmates around. Seeing Jason again. And of course, going to her first proper party. It felt like an important milestone, and Harley was ready to have fun, hopefully see her friends again, and really enjoy the night. She looked around for familiar faces as she made her way into the room, quickly spotting Hayley still near the doorway. "Hayley!" Harley ran over, grabbing her best friend in a tight hug. Things had been... a little uncomfortable between them for the last few months, but Harley had decided none of that mattered tonight. She just wanted to have fun and be with her friends, no problems from school getting in the way. As she released Hayley, Harley spotted Odette across the room and gave a nervous wave and smile. She was excited to see Odette again, but didn't know if the other girl would talk to her with so many people around. Besides, they had the whole holidays together. Harley probably wouldn't see Hayley again until their visit in a few weeks. "How have you been?" She asked, focusing on her best friend for the moment.
