There seemed to be a lot of drama at this party, and Lily was just grateful that there was something she could put her attention towards to save her having to worry about what was going on around her. She'd not really stepped out her comfort zone too much until now, but that meant there were still many people she didn't know. Even if she were to talk to others in the room she wouldn't want to upset the dynamic between friends, and that meant it was usually safer to stick with those she knew the backgrounds of, however mildly. Feeling a bit stuck for conversation, the blonde glanced around the room, taking a sip of her drink in a bid to tide over the awkward silence that overcame her as she struggled to find any words she thought would be of worth.
