Hey everyone, so this is my update which is quite massive. I think the admins do this on purpose for me, but who knows. 
Anyway, let's get into it!
Y49: Sorting
Sorting is well underway and we are on our second page! Just ignore the fact that half of the sorteds are now mine. My year of avoiding Gryffindors. I have 3+ more to possibly sort, so should I keep going until I see red? Hypothetical, you don't have to answer it. If you somehow missed sorting, here it is.
And speaking of sorting, want a transfer? Better get your application in here before midweek, when it closes. Now, transfer apps are treated like actual applications. If your student is not approved, you should consider de-aging them and sorting them as first years (provided you haven't threaded with them already).
Quidditch: Try-Outs
It seems like all four houses have their try outs underway, as well as the other schools'! If you are a player, or want to sign up, better get your students there. I have them linked for you below for easier access.
Honeyduke's Competition
There is a candy sort of competition over at Honeyduke's! If you want your creation there, be sure to add it before it closes. The link to the competition is here.
Yearly Shopping
Now that the holidays are opened for everyone, you will need to go to the gradebook and check your required supplies. You will need to make sure your supplies are in because the professor might not let you join their class without it. Also, check your inventory just in case you might already have the supplies!

Also a big thanks to those that were a big part of MESSI this last year! We will not be opening the application up this year for MESSI, so maybe next IC year.
Now Hiring: Shopkeepers & Professor
We are hiring for a temporary professor position: DADA, which can be found here. It will be for one IC year. And we are also hiring for four shopkeepers right here. Professors are closing closing very soon - mid week, so get your apps in! Shopkeeper apps are closing even sooner than that. Tomorrow morning.
Quidditch Guests

Moving forward on this suggestion, we have created a new group 'Quidditch guests' to stack on for individuals who will be attending HNZ quidditch games. Anyone approved to the group will have access for 1 IC year so a 'season pass.' If you'd like to gain access to attend school quidditch games, please submit by PM to both Emzies and me the answer to the following questions:
Please note that muggles, other school students, and anyone who is considered 'wanted' by Aurors and/or Magical Law Enforcement are not eligible to apply. Scitorari, anyone who has served time at Azkaban, or any character with a pending criminal case will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. As this is not an exhaustive list, if you are in doubt, you can always apply, and add any necessary information to question 3.
Depending on volume of responses, we may place a cap on the number of requests that we approve so if you submit multiple requests in 1 PM, please note which are your priorities.
As this is a new group that we are testing, we will be focusing on what activity looks like in deciding whether to continue, expand or make additional changes to who is able to and how access is provided. So, we encourage you to consider if you will have time to post in games ahead of applying.
Applications will be accepted beginning now and will close as the semester begins.
Netiquette Reminder
As a reminder for the Netiquette, be sure to have a look over it. Even those that have been here as long as we have might need a refresher. Another reminder would be to write in English, and if you must have a phrase in a different language, put a translation either below, or next to it. We know that characters might have different languages, but there are ways to have your character speak it without actually typing it out. This would help folks like me who can barely read English, let alone any other language.
