Are you ready for a jam packed BWU? Yes? Great!
Y44 is underway!
Y44 begins tomorrow, officially, though many items are already up and moving along. For example, the gradebook is already available for 3rd years and above to sign up for classes (1st & 2nd years get automagically signed up for lessons!); and quidditch tryouts are up and running. And within the next few days, you'll see the Start of Year Feast, House Meetings, and the Club Fair go up!
We received one transfer application, and it was accepted! With that, do keep in mind that sorting is only open for 1 more week! So, if you've been thinking about getting a student sorted now is the time. Around mid-week, the holiday forum areas will close for students.
The start of year is an exciting and busy time!! We can't wait to see how the year goes!
New professors and head students!
We've also hired some new professors: Professor Bertie Brigham will be teaching Transfiguration to the upper years; Professor Adorah Zumwalt will be a permanent Astronomy professor for the lower years, and Professor Emmaline Hopkins-Vance is now teaching Potions for the lower years. Congrats to them all!
And a big thank you to all of the professors for getting classes up and keeping up with that side of HNZ!
The school also has some new head students and prefects:
Celia Vuong, Eugene Nestor, Kiara Thompson, Monday Weeks, Aurora Archer, Abigail Payne, Aine Thompson, Margo Fox, Ngawaita Martin and Cameron Roswell.
Congrats to everyone!!

HNZ's birthday celebrations are slowly coming to a close. There are a few games and events still up and running. Don't forget to vote for your favorite mad lib, join the raffle, sign the official birthday signature, or say cheese! And let's all keep following the fun in werewolf to see who wins, the villagers or the wolves!
A big thank you to the staff for all of their work in preparing for it all! We hope you've had fun.

Take a look at Nick's announcement here to see a new way to host your HNZ related images! TLDR: the image proxy is temporarily turned off to allow you to save your images to your desktop, another image host, etc. but it will be turned back on soon; there are rules to what you can upload, please read them carefully!
Additionally, Claire has re-hosted all of the 2022 superlative mini-banners in the 2022 superlative winners topic! So, if you have one in your signature (or just want a working copy), head over to the topic to find it.
