Simon was glad that this event didn't exactly require that much preparation. After all, how much was there really to set up for an excuse to swim in the lake. When Sully came it him with the idea he had been wary but he was glad he relented. He figured it would be a nice way to celebrate one of the last times the lake would actually be pleasant to swim in since it wouldn't be long before it was far too cold to be considered fun. He bend over to move rearrange some of the towels that were set out and was surprised to find he wasn't dreading this meeting the way he was used to. There were still things weighing on his mind and he wasn't looking forward to the fast approaching exams and end of the year but he was determined to enjoy the time he had.

"Hey everyone!" Simon called out to the boys when he noticed them all arriving. He smiled and again was surprised how genuine it felt. "Welcome to the last Brotherhood meeting for the year." he announced. "We all thought you all deserved something fun. So before the semester gets too crazy with exams and before the weather gets too cold, lets all have a good time shall we. There are a snacks and a few games set up, so have fun." he explained but thought of one more thing. Simon raised a hand to make sure he hadn't lost anyone's attention. "And please don't swim out too far and disturb the eel. I don't want to be held responsible for that." he said dryly, before gesturing to Noel in case he wanted to add anything else.

OOCOut of Character:
Please wait to reply until Jamie posts with Noel! Thanks!

Noel was excited for an new Brotherhood event. After the talking to Minnie and finally getting some closer he could enjoy life again and focus on himself and what he wanted and not someone else. He made it's way to the lake to help Simon out, but there wasn't much work to be honest so he just wanted to be there to be early and make sure it was all settled for fun. As he made his way and noticed Simon he greeted the boy. Making sure that everything was there, like snacks and games. And time for just boys together. No drama with girls or anything.

As everyone seemed to be there he listened as Simon began speaking. He grinned as Simon mentioned the eel. As he looked at him he smiled to the group. '' Nothing much to add. Just have fun boys!'' He said with an grin. And than turned to Simon. '' Great speech. We got all the ingredients for an fun event. '' He said with an smile looking at sky as the sun burned on his skin. He watched out for Sully as he figured his bro always brought the party to an party.

Jordie was feeling more like himself again. With the duels coming up, his morning runs with Branson, and what he hoped were improved grades, he felt great. He was excited for the meeting today, he listened to their leaders, letting them finish up before turning to the nearest boy. "Race you to the water!" He yelled, kicking off his shoes and throwing his shirt as he bolted for the lake. Jordie ran right in, waiting until he was in up to his calves before diving into the water. He came up, laughing loudly and flipping his hair.

Caleb wanted to roll his eyes as Simon talked. It almost made him angry to see him acting all nice in front of all the Brotherhood boys. But he was just excited to have something actually fun to do instead of stand around a room talking. Once they were finally done talking he was tempted to race into the water with the other boys but he decided to wait a bit before jumping in himself. He had heard a lot of talk about this eel and was willing to see what happened before he took that plunge. Instead to sat down on one of the towels and leaned back, soaking up the sun.

Blake definitely wasn't happy to be leaving the Brotherhood, but he didn't feel the same way he once would have about it. His life had expanded since coming out, and he was finding that he needed the things he had needed when he was younger less and less. Didn't need to posture about being the manliest man, didn't have to put others down or hype himself up the same way. Didn't need the Brotherhood. So he was mostly looking forward to hanging out with Jasper at their final meeting, and getting a good swim in at the lake. He had worn board shorts and a singlet out to the lakeside, and soon as the introductions were over he took a running leap at the lake, whooping and laughing as he cannonballed right into the water.

Isaiah was stoked the brotherhood had decided to throw a lake party. Especially after he had heard that the girl club just had some sort of study session going on which was totally lame. He had become part of the club to have fun after all and if he had been one of those girls he certainly wouldn't have been happy with that. Lucky for him he wasn't a girl and he could just enjoy the actual fun activity the brotherhood leaders had planned. Zay listened as the leaders did their little talk, zoning out for most of it since he could take a guess about what they were saying and only selectively hearing the part about the eel. Not too keen to get his hair wet just yet he dropped down onto one of the towels, deciding he'd just chill and enjoy the sun for a bit first.

How completely pointless this whole meeting was. It was not like he could actually go and enjoy the lake himself. He had a prosthetic leg to worry about and he couldn't get it wet, and while swimming with one foot was possible, it was not something he had ever done before. Not to mention this wasn't a pool so actually getting into the lake with one foot was going to be a challenge. So, instead, Flynn sighed, sitting himself down on the ground and folding his arms as he scowled. This wasn't fair and he was seriously considering throwing his prosthetic at someone if they looked like they were having too much fun.

Jasper had been a part of the Brotherhood since his first year, it felt weird to know that he would be leaving it soon. But the lake party was at least a fun idea, and he hoped they could go out with a splash. He laughed when Simon brought up the eel, like that was a real thing. Jasper saw Blake run into the water and laughed, running after him and jumping into the water as well. He caught up to Blake and immediately started splashing him with water.

Tyler was kind of sick of the brotherhood, but he knew he would be a bad friend if he didn't come to the final event he could attend while Simon was the president. He had shown up at the lake in his swimming clothes and listened to both Noel and Simon as they spoke to the group. Then he walked up to Simon, but not before looking over at the lake, seeing Blake and Jasper hanging out together. He ignored the twist of jealousy in his chest and focused his attention on Simon. "Cool idea." He said lightly. "Want to go swim?"

Weston had been excited to hear that the Brotherhood would be throwing a party for their last meeting of the term. After all, parties were always a good idea. He had been slightly less excited to hear that it would be held outside, instead of in their super cool secret clubhouse, er, room. But he wasn't going to let that stop him from attending. Besides, maybe he would spot the eel today.

So when Simon warned them not to disturb the eel, Weston gasped. The older boy obviously knew something about the mysterious creature in the lake. Brimming with questions, he started to make his way towards Simon when the sound of Jordie's voice drew his attention. Weston turned to see his friend sprinting towards the water. "Wait, Jordie!" He ran after the Hufflepuff but stopped at the edge of the lake. "You shouldn't swim in there," he said. "What if the eel attacks you?" A couple other boys entered the lake, and Weston watched them, wide-eyed with worry. Didn't they know there was a man-eating eel in there?

Jordie looked up, surprised when he heard someone call his name. "Wes?" He swam a little closer to the shore, listening to his friends concern. "Aw, Wes, it should be okay," He swam back towards the shore anyway, coming up out of the water. He shook his hair a bit, brushing the water out of his eyes. "I don't want you to worry about me though," he gave his friend an easy smile. "Did you wanna do something else instead?" @Weston Stirling

Lucas had been excited to go outside for the brotherhood event. The idea of a lake party was fun, and Lucas had been looking forward to it. He listened as the presidents told them a bit, but was glad when they were free to do what they wanted. Part of him wanted to rush right into the water, but he saw Flynn sitting by himself and looking unhappy. Lucas wasn't really friends with him, but they had spoken before and he had always felt a bit connected to the other boy because they were both seekers, even if Lucas was only an alternate. He headed over to the younger boy and sat down next to him, giving him a slight smile. "Hey, you doing okay?"

Bern is now attending the party lake pool for the last event of the Brotherhood he is going first because his cousin is so busy so he tries to catch up with other members and have a real buddy if is okay to them, Bern tries a search for another 1st-year student so we have a little conversation because been don't know how to swim if required to take a lake it will be in the side only not go to the middle of the lake, Bern sees Caleb and tries to approach him Hi my I join you if it's okay.

Knox was hesitant to attend the brotherhood lake party, especially after what had happened with Simon. And with exams drawing closer by the day the last thing Knox knew he should be doing was swimming in the lake and having fun with his friends. But he also knew it would be worth it to attend and try and keep his mind off of everything that was going on. So Knox headed to the lakefront as the event was due to begin, wearing his swimming shorts with a t shirt, and keeping near the back of the crowd. He only half listened to Simon’s speech and then once everyone was allowed to do as they wanted, Knox headed to where the snacks were, deciding he would get the most enjoyment from eating and watching everyone else have fun, since he really didn’t want to risk jumping in the water and annoying whatever eel was in the lake unless he was jumping in with one of his friends.

Sully was keen to get some time outside. Now that Quidditch season was over and the warm weather was fading soon, they only had a small window before it got all rainy and gross. Not that Sully figured the lake was warm, ever, but it would still be fun even if it was freezing.

Once Simon and Noel let the group loose, Sully spun around to survey the scene, laughing when he saw a few of the club members had already launched themselves into the lake. Flynn didn't seem as enthused as the others though, and Sully had an excellent idea about a way to fix that. He made some meaningful eye contact with Lysander, and after a few pointed hand gestures to devise a plan, Sully set off running. He didn't want to give Flynn too much warning as he ran forward, scooping up Flynn with Lysander's help. "'Scuse us," he called to Lucas as they ran past, closing the distance to the lake and giving Flynn a good swing to launch him into the water with a cheer. @Lysander Summers @Flynn North @Lucas Fletcher

Ronald know that today is the last meeting for this semester on brotherhood he ran going to the lake because he's busy with his essay and homework on his 2nd semester subject to relax he decided to go to the lake party of his brotherhood, but he too late his cousin discuss the opening speech, Simon, like his cousin both of them, don't know to swim is not popular to his country to have a swimming lesson, so Ronald takes snack and seat beside to his cousin and waits if his boyfriend will be attended to this event.

Lysander was pumped for some time out in the sun with the guys. It was a good way to relax, and if he got another look at the eel, that was fine by him too. He only half-listened to Simon and Noel, the same old "don't swim too far out" he'd heard at other lake events. That was where all the fun was. He'd been considering casting up a bubble-head charm and going hunting for trinkets, until he locked eyes with Sully. His gaze followed his to where Flynn was, looking as grumpy as he always seemed to at these Brotherhood meetings, and he broke out into a grin, responding with a series of thumbs up and animated nods. He raced after him, taking hold of Flynn from the other side, and helped to carry him over to the water. Some people needed a bit of a push, or in this case, to be completely tossed into a lake, to know how to have a bit of fun. Sander made a show of dusting his hands off, and turned back to where Flynn's friend had been sitting. "Come on! No seeker left behind!" He called, and rushed over to try maneuver the other boy into the lake as well.

Daintree had settled in a spot near the lake front watching the others with some interest, but not really getting involved. He had found the speeches a little pointless but figured that was just the way things were done. Someone had to tell them what to do. He watched some of the younger students race into the water and he watched some of the Gryffindor quidditch boys launch another boy into the water. Daintree wasn't too interested in swimming and he didn't have the same energy he might've had before for like a game of rugby. So instead he just settled to watch, some book vaguely open in front of him, not that he was reading. It was some muggle trash his dad had given him, an attempt to make up for the break and give Daintree an avenue to reconnect with muggle roots but he just thought it was boring.

Lumio had heard that the next brotherhood event was going to be a party outside and so he'd brought his guitar along with him. He spotted a number of people at this that he knew, spotting Ronald and his cousin easily amoungst the rest. He gave him a cheerful wave but decided there would be time in a bit to hang out with him, this time around he headed towards Knox with a wide smile. "Hey man," he greeted sitting down next to him. Lumio wasn't interested in going in the water it was going to be way too cold for his tastes. "Can I interest you in a round of wonderwall?" he joked to Knox with a smile, he wasn't sure if the older boy had brought his guitar with him, but he might still enjoy playing a bit of wonderwall with him.

Ajaccio had brought his camera to the brotherhood lake party, he had just thought that it would be nice to capture some of these moments, maybe add it to the wall that the last leader had started. Ajax had set his camera up on a tripod near the edges and was adjusting some of the settings, watching as Sully and Lysander got one of the young boys in the water by force. He found himself laughing lightly at it before checking the camera it was a bit of a pity that he hadn't gotten that in a picture but he was sure with how excited some of the boys seemed that he would get plenty more moments soon enough.

Branson had come to the lake for the celebration or well the meeting, he wasn't sure whcih it was really. He looked at the crowd of other people at it and spotted a few people had already gone into the water. Bran was a little skeptical of the water, he couldn't help but be nervous by it. He knew that it was safe and with enough older kids no one was going to get into too much bother but between the fact a kid had died there and the eel he was a little nervous. In his standing he spotted Jordie and his roommate Weston. But he also spotted Isaiah who was sitting alone. He approached the other boy and smile. "Do you mind if I join you?"
@Isaiah Thompson

Eugene loved coming outside, he thoroughly was going to miss the nice warmer weather that they were able to have in the summery months and though he didn't mind winter, he would just miss the summer. The hufflepuff arrived excitedly at the lake front and nodded to what the leaders said. He didn't really know how to swim, he'd been swimming a couple of times with his class but that was it. He hadn't been one to go, since they were usually things you had to pay for. with a wide grin he was watching some of the older boys going into the water. He was quite eager but was hesitating at the water's edge, he didn't think it would be fair to ask someone to teach him how to swim but he could maybe ask someone to just...watch out for him.

Simon watched the rest of the boys break off into different groups and felt relieved as everything seemed to be going well. He noticed Tyler approach him and smiled. "Thank you." he said earnestly. He was a little surprised by the compliment but he wasn't about to question it. But he was momentarily distracted as Sully picked up and threw one of the younger Gryffindor's into the water. He waited a moment to make sure the younger boy could swim and wasn't about to drown before turning his attention back to his friend. That would be just what he needed. "Yeah sure." he said and took off his shirt and started to walk towards the shore of the lake. "I'll race you." he suggested with a playful smile. @Tyler Lee

Weston was not sure why Jordie thought swimming in a lake with a dangerous eel would be okay, but at least the Hufflepuff was making his way back to the shore. "Didn't you hear Simon's warning?" he asked with a puzzled look, stepping back as Jordie shook out his hair. Weston turned his gaze back to the lake, just in time to see two older boy throw someone in. He shuddered and took a few more steps back lest anyone get any ideas seeing him so close to the edge.

"I do want to see the eel," Weston admitted. Despite his best efforts over the break, he still hadn't caught a glimpse of the beast. "But I don't want to get eaten, so maybe we hang out here?" The splashing in the water made him frown slightly. "Should we warn the others?" He'd enjoyed watching Jaws with his dad — even though he'd spent most of the time looking through his fingers — but he wasn't sure he could stomach seeing a real-life reenactment. Plus, everyone knew eels were more sinister-looking than sharks.

Jordie smiled, reaching out and gently taking Weston's hand in his own. "Hey, it's alright, let's go sit," he pulled Weston gently along with him, settling down on a few of the towels near the beach. He smiled at Weston, pulling his knees up to his chest. "It's nice out here today, isn't it? Maybe we can come out here more often, you can teach me guitar out here by the water," he offered, smiling brightly. @Weston Stirling
