He hadn't expected anyone to really pay much attention to him. "Yeah," he responded quickly, giving the older Hufflepuff a quick smile as he shifted to try and sit a little more comfortably. But he, surprisingly, wasn't sitting for much longer when Sully and Lysander suddenly came running over and scooped him right up off the ground. "Hey! What are you doing! Flynn was rather quick to complain, squirming slightly before he was suddenly flying through the air, windmilling his arms, as a second later he crashed into the lake with a big splash. For a moment he panicked from the sudden change in temperature, kicking his one good leg as his head finally broke the surface of the water, gasping for air just a little. "You a**holes! I'm not supposed to get my prosthetic wet!" Not to mention he was still fully clothed as well and now he was soaking wet.

It took a little more effort than usual to slowly paddle back towards the shore, grumbling as he stumbled out of the water, making sure to give Sully and Lysander a hard scowl as he sat back down again. Now he just felt all wet and uncomfortable. Bending over, Flynn started to pull his trouser leg up, just enough to grab the ankle part of his prosthetic foot to pull it off his leg, wrinkling his nose as he turned it upside down to tip the small amount of water out. While being wet for a short time was probably not going to do anything, he was still not very impressed.

Caleb was enjoying himself and was happy to have an excuse to spend an afternoon by the lake. He was distracted momentarily as one of the other boys got thrown into the lake and didn't seem to happy about it. He hardly noticed there was another boy next to him until he asked to join him. “Sure!” he said cheerfully and patted the ground next to him. Happy to have some company while he warmed up and got ready for a swim. @Bern Malakas
