Y37 Gryffindor Practice S2

Chloë watched as Sully tossed the quaffle to Noel, following along as he made his way towards the hoops and feeling a slight boost of confidence when Flynn had already managed to get his hands on the snitch.
 
When Noel came closer he decided to give it a go. But failed to score. He hoped the team would gave good chances later on.
 
Knox flew into the air when the practice began and followed Chloe and then Sully when they had possession of the quaffle. He cheered when Flynn caught the snitch, then moved to follow Noel. When Noel wasn’t able to score, Knox swooped in when the quaffle was thrown back into the game and began to head for the hoops on the opposite side of the pitch.​
 
Chloë watched as Noel didn't make his shot either, quickly turning around to follow Knox as he flew off with the quaffle.
 
Chloë flew close to Knox as he made his way towards the hoops. Deciding to throw some friendly competition in there she swooped in when she saw a chance, stealing the quaffle from under his grip. “Sorry!” She called as she pushed forward, keeping the ball close to her.
 
Sully gave a cheer when Flynn managed to catch the snitch already. Maybe him being their only seeker wouldn't be so bad after all. He stayed with Noel, and then Knox, after Noel's shot didn't make it in, but he had to whoop when Chloë wrested the quaffle away from Knox, shooting after her after her steal.
 
Chloë continued her way towards the hoops, taking aim once she got close enough and throwing the quaffle towards them. “That’s just 14 more to go, right?” She laughed as she watched it sail through, begore turning around, ready to chase whichever of her friends would get the quaffle next.
 
Watching Chloë make goal left Sully's brain short circuit. He'd always known Chloë was an awesome chaser, but with them hanging out, going on dates or to dances together, he couldn't help feel a little dumbstuck by her sometimes. Or a lot of the times. It took a moment for his brain to catch back up as the quaffle was thrown back in and Sully just laughed at her comment as he made a clumsy catch, eyes still trained on Chloë even as he started to fly down the pitch.
 
Chloë was pretty content she had managed the first score. She tried not to laugh at Sully’s clumsy catch when the quaffle was thrown back out, oddly aware that he was still looking at her even when he started moving to the other side of the pitch. She shot him a bright smile as he did though, pushing forward to start following him.
 
Sully's brain caught up with him eventually, and he was able to return Chloë's smile as he shot back across the pitch to take another shot to get past Nikko. He cheered as it sailed through the left hoop, spinning around to make sure Chloë (and the other chasers too) had seen.
 
Letting go of the snitch again, Flynn felt rather good about that boost of confidence. But he was determined to catch the snitch at least once more, so he set off in search of it once again.
 
Chloë gave Sully a thumbs up as he scored, catching the quaffle when Nikko threw it back out and turning around to head to the other side of the pitch again.
 
When he missed he followed Knox and Chloe. Grinning as Chloe stole it away. She was an very good chaser Noel thought. It was good that she joined the team. He tried to spot Sully to see his reaction and grinned as he saw his face. He needed to couple them up for sure, but he had an feeling they would find eachother no matter what. He would be rooting for them for sure. He cheered as Chloe scored and when Sully again after that. He felt pressure to prove him also. '' Good job guys!!'' He than said excited. He flew along with Chloe to see if he could help her out.
 
Sully was still feeling pretty pleased with himself, grinning at Noel as he congratulated them before joining him in tailing after Chloë.
 
Chloë continued her way towards the hoops, tempted to pass the quaffle to Noel for a second but feeling like she was at a better angle herself when they neared Christian's hoops. She threw the ball towards the hoops, turning around to proudly grin at her friends when it sailed through the right one.
 
Nikko sighed as Sully managed to score. He was too slow and couldn't make it to the left hoop in time to block it. At least Chloe managed to get on past Christian too. But he kept his eyes on the chasers, they were doing too well this practice for him to slack off even a little bit.
 
Lysander was more than surprised to see Flynn catching the snitch so soon into practice, and paused to give him a round of applause. “Good job!” He called, before zooming off to find a bludged.
 
There was no sign of the snitch for a second time, but Flynn was still determined as he continued to search.
 
Emma was surprised to hear that Sierra was stepping back from the team, and she wondered if Lysander was okay doing it on his own. Sierra hoped that Flynn was able to pick up the slack. The practice got started, and Emma flew after a bludger. Flynn caught the snitch already, which was great for the team. Emma hit a bludger and it flew right at Chloe right after she managed to score.

It didn't take long for Chloë's grin to be wiped right off her face when she was met with the impact of a bludger to her shoulder, right as she turned around to face her friends after she had scored. It knocked her back a little and she was quick to hold on to her broom with her other arm. No way was a bludger going to hit her off. She gave the other chasers a fairly weak thumbs up to let them know she was okay, moving to the side for a second and rubbing her shoulder in an attempt to dull the aching pain that was now slowly spreading. Getting hit by a bludger was definitely the one thing about quidditch she'd never miss at all.
 
Sully grinned when Chloë managed yet another goal, their practice definitely off to a great start. His smile faltered when Emma managed to knock a bludger into Chloë. She seemed okay, but Sully couldn't help but want to hover near her protectively. Chloë gave them the thumbs up though and not wanting to be weird about it, Sully reluctantly moved to scoop up the quaffle instead.
 
Noel continued and looked around for an moment. He noticed Chloe getting hit by an bludger. Auch! That always hurted, but she seemed ok. He flew along with Sully hoping they would get an chance to score soon, Chloe was on an roll and Sully also, he needed to be also.
 
Chloë tried to ignore the pain in her shoulder, planning to just act as if it wasn’t there when she noticed Sully scoop up the quaffle and got ready to start following again.
 
Sully shot towards the hoops, glancing at Chloë and Noel before tossing the quaffle over to Noel. "Hope you're warmed up, your turn to score," He teased his friend, pulling back to support him. @Noel Waldgrave
 
Nikko clapped as Chloe made another goal even though he knew she couldn't hear him on the other side of the pitch. Now it was his turn to be alert as he waited for Noel to make the next move.
