Y37 Gryffindor Practice S2

Chloë continued her way towards the hoops, noticing Sully near her she passed the quaffle to him. @Solomon Tofilau

Still no sign of the snitch for a second time, but Flynn wasn't going to stop looking as he circled around.

Sully grinned as he caught the quaffle from Chloë, swooping in quickly to take his own shot at the hoops again. He let out another whoop as the quaffle sailed through, holding up a hand for a high-five from the other chasers as he flew back victoriously.

Nikko quickly dove and blocked Noel’s shot before throwing it back, and he started to relax. But didn’t stop watching the chasers as they went to the other set of hoops.

Chloë smiled when Sully managed to get his shot in, happily high-fiving him as she flew forward to scoop up the quaffle when it was thrown out again.

Chloë had the quaffle now and Sully was curious if she could keep up their scoring streak.

Lysander frowned, scouring the sky for a bludger, though there weren't any nearby. He swapped to hovering near Flynn, in an effort to work on defensive strats in the meantime.

Chloë headed over to the hoops, a bit disappointed when Nikko blocked her shot but shooting him a thumbs up nonetheless.

Lysander swung at a nearby bludger, hitting it away, but to nowhere in particular.

No sign of the snitch. Flynn continued to fly around as he looked for it.

Sully scooped up the quaffle, giving Chloë a shrug in commiseration when she missed. If it had been Noel, he would have teased him for the shot, but he didn't feel as inclined to when it was her. Tucking the quaffle under his arm, Sully swerved away towards the opposite hoops.

Chloë followed along after Sully caught the quaffle and started heading towards the other side of the pitch.

Sully didn't want to waste any time making his way across the pitch, though he was glad to have the other chasers backing him up. He'd been mostly joking about scoring 15 goals, but now it was in his head, Sully kind of wanted to make it happen. He lobbed the quaffle at the hoops, barely slowly down as it left his hands and cheering as it sailed through the center hoop.

Chloë caught the quaffle when it was thrown back into play after Sully scored. She was glad they had been doing pretty good so far, but that didn't mean she was planning on slacking off.

Sully was still feeling pretty stoked with himself, following Chloë now that she had the quaffle again. "Only like 10 more, right?" He said, raising an eyebrow in challenge to her and the other chasers.

Emma had some trouble catching up with the bludger, and when she finally did, she missed it too. Emma frowned in frustration, flying off to follow the other bludger.

Chloë chuckled at Sully's remark, before speeding forward and trying to get another shot in again. "Guess that's still ten." She shrugged with a soft laugh as she turned around, trying her best to hide the fact that she was getting a little annoyed by her own failed attempts.

Sully couldn't help but laugh when Chloë missed again, shaking his head as he caught the quaffle when it was thrown back in. "You'll get the next one, aye," He said, looping back around and check to see if any of the others were open for a pass.

Nikko remained vigilant and found he was torn between wanting to prove himself as a good keeper but also wanting the chaser's to score too.

Feeling bold, Sully forgo passing, moving over to the other side of the pitch to try and score for a fourth time. "Four in a row, yes!" He pumped his fist as he made another shot, grinning at the other chasers as the quaffle was thrown back in.

After his first catch, he had felt good about things, but now the snitch was nowhere to be found and the nerves started to come back. Grinding his teeth together, Flynn tried to ignore how well the chasers were doing as he focused on his task and started looking a little harder.

Chloë happily gave Sully a thumbs up as he managed another score, glad that he seemed to be on a roll. She easily caught the quaffle when it was thrown back in again, making a quick turn to head towards the other side of the pitch once again.

Sully couldn't help feeling smug as he followed after Chloë, ready to keep backing her up as she crossed the pitch.

Chloë continued heading towards the other side of the pitch, looking around for a second to see where the other chasers were.

Sully kept up with Chloë as they approached the hoops, calling out to her. "C'mon, goal number six!" He said, half encouraging, half challenging her.
