Y37 Gryffindor Practice S2

After Lysander hit Knox, Emma rushed after the bludger to hit it as well. She aimed for Lysander, as he was the one person who could defend himself. But instead it went off course and hit Noel instead.

@Noel Waldgrave

Chloë had to admit she was impressed with how many shots Sully had managed to get in this practice, positively surprised when he managed get another one. When Noel caught the quaffle she turned around to back him up, grimacing when both Knox and Noel got hit with a bludger right after each other.

Noel continued flying and was focused. And than suddenly got hit by an bludger. He almost dropped the quaffle but managed to keep it. Making an painfull face but than continued again trying to get some speed. Determined to score he tried to make an attempt. Smiling wide as he noticed he finally got one. “ Woo!”! he said loud. Almost forgetting he got hit before.

Knox was hopeful Sully would be able to score, but before he could watch as Sully made an attempt, Knox was suddenly hit with a bludger. The impact in his side forced him to swerve off course and he winced at the pain, trying to recover as he cheered for Sully’s success. Knox then turned to fly to the opposite end of the pitch when Noel had possession of the quaffle. He smiled when Noel managed to get another goal, and Knox flew forward to catch the quaffle as it was thrown back into the game, tucking the quaffle into the side of his body that didn’t hurt as he tried to fly to the other end of the pitch again. It was difficult to focus when he was in pain, but he tried his best to work through it.

Noel had managed to score despite a nasty looking bludger hit and Sully gave a cheer. As the quaffle was thrown back in, he flew to follow Knox, hoping he could add to the chaser's mounting score total.

The chasers were doing so well. It made him feel slightly bad he had only managed to catch the snitch the once this practice. That niggling feeling that he wasn't good enough did play at the back of his head, but he tried to ignore it as he pressed on in his search.

Lysander checked his watch, pausing to hover in the air for a moment. He’d almost lost track of the time, something he’d have to be more mindful of now that he didn’t have someone else to rely on.

Still no sign of the snitch and Flynn was starting to feel more and more disheartened by it by the second. Maybe he really wasn't cut out for this yet.

Lysander glanced at his watch a second time, before blowing the whistle around his neck to signal for everyone to land. He touched to the ground, setting his broom across the grass, and waited for everyone else to join him. "Awesome, great work everyone! Chaser squad was on fire today. And good job catching the snitch so soon, Flynn." He grinned, giving the young boy a thumbs up. "I know it's going to be tougher for us now, but if we keep this up, we'll win the cup for sure. I'll keep you guys posted on when our next practice is." He told them, before moving off to pack up the equipment and move it back to the storage shed.
