Juniper was adopted into the Zumwalt family when she was 6 years old. Born in Rye, East Sussex, England, she arrived into the world on January 4, 10 minutes before her twin brother Justice. The twins lived with their parents until their untimely death in a boating accident in the summer of 2041. The twins were staying with family friends, and after none of their suitable family members were willing to take them in, Juniper and Justice were placed into foster care and separated early on. Juniper has never minded this since she didn’t have a relationship with her brother - she doesn’t look at it as a loss. After she was adopted, she grew extremely close to her sister, Adorah. During Adorah’s first year at Hogwarts, Juniper also found out that she would be attending this magical school. Finding it extremely odd that two witches not related to each other would be adopted into one muggle family, her parents were hesitant to let her go. Homelife had been tense since Adorah’s departure. However, Juniper was determined to convince her parents this was where she needed to be. She always knew there was something different about her. She could feel it, but she was never able to pinpoint exactly what it was.
