Hufflepuff Practice Y38 S2

Looping the pitch, René looked for someone to pass to. As he neared the hoops though, he couldn't resist the urge to try and redeem himself after his past missed goals, taking aim and lobbing the quaffle at the hoops in a spur of the moment attempt. The shot went far too wide though and René slunk back on his broom.

Amy winced when Tilly hit a bludger into her, but gave the younger girl a thumbs up. At least the beaters were getting hits in.

The game was moving fast and Connor kept an eye on the bludgers, though to his frustration he couldn't find a good angle to get a shot in.

Linden kept watching the game everyone was doing so well especially the seekers if only they could play like that in the game them Rene came towards him throwing wide. Lin dived after the ball before tossing it back into play

Feeling more on his game now, Elliot flew slowly around the pitch, keeping alert for any tell-tale signs of movement.

René hung back as Linden went to throw the quaffle back in, not wanting to get his hands on it immediately after missing.

Tilly flew around and hit nothing. This practice was all starting to feel like deja vu.

Elliot was starting to suspect it was going to be too hot a day for them to practice for too long, but he figured they could keep going for now, content that team was holding up well for now.

René flinched when he heard a beater's bat hit a bludger, ducking even though he noticed belated the bludger wasn't near him this time. He supposed it was better to be safe than sorry after seeing Amy and Jordie get hit.

Tilly aimed for the chasers again. However, instead of hitting Rene as she'd calculated, her bludger decided to go wayward again and crashed right into @Elliot Briar.

Amy caught the Quaffle as it was thrown into play, and began to look for someone to pass to.

Tilly waved at Elliot apologetically, flying on. She then knocked a bludger away from Lucas.

Elliot didn't react fast enough to avoid the bludger Tilly sent his way, letting his broom spin to help take the edge off the impact. Dizzy and wheezing, he returned Tilly's wave, trying to shake off the pain from the hit to keep flying.

René followed after Amy as she took the quaffle. He briefly considered seeing if he could steal it from her like Sully had taught him, but wasn't confident he should, especially since she was the captain.

Lucas winced when he saw Elliot had been hit, he hoped the captain would be fine.

Shaking off the hit, Elliot checked over his shoulder to keep an eye on the beaters as he moved to continue his search.

Amy was tempted to pass to Rene, but decided to try and score. She grinned as the Quaffle flew through the hoop.

Elliot grinned when he caught sight of Amy scoring, glad the chasers seemed to be fairing well.

René couldn't shake the feeling that the beaters were targeting them, so he stuck close to Jordie as Amy flew to the hoops to score. Feeling a little bolder, he grabbed the quaffle next, glancing around to see who else was where on the pitch.

Connor just wasn't on his game at all today, and his next swing for a bludger went wide, missing the ball entirely. He groaned in frustration, trying to pull himself together.

Tilly's bat made a loud crack as it hit the intended bludger. Said bludger sailed right into @Lucas Fletcher. Tilly grimaced in sympathy, hoping their alternate seeker was all right.

Elliot was glad he’d moved further down the pitch from Tilly, wincing when Lucas also took a bludger.

It felt a little cheap, but taking advantage of the distraction of Lucas getting hit worked wonders to make it easier to score and René was just glad to not have missed.

"Good shot, Rene!" Amy called out as the quaffle flew through the hoop. Grabbing the quaffle as it was thrown back into play, she flew around the pitch, looking to see where the others were.

Tilly moved back to defense for now. She was sure her teammates hadn't missed her bludgers over the holiday break.
