Harper - Ok, so Harper would know about the breakup. I don't think she'd confront Essie or anything like that, but she'd probably keep her distance. Maybe Essie notices and asks her what's up?
Lucie and
Weston - If you could start it, that would be great! He would definitely show up if he found out that Lucie was doing research on the eel (and probably ask her a ton of questions to figure out how much she knows lol). It's up to you whether we leave it open.
Ares and
Celia - That sounds good to me! I can start it if you'd like? I, uh, can't guarantee she'll be very nice though, especially at the start.
Ooooo! Yess all of that sounds great! Weston's a great character, and I can imagine him being quite appalled with Valencia not liking magic. I would love to see his reaction about it ahaha! So I'm defs keen on that! (The acid pops won't make it better - but it would be funny hehe) Also happy to have an eel thread about him rambling on about the eel and all. Would you like me to start something or shall I? We can do it sometime after the semester starts, maybe?

Flynn - It is time once more for the same old Harper and Flynn shenanigans with Flynn being himself and Harper being annoyed with it. If you wanted to do something with the election, Flynn's mom (Siobhan) is running so that could be an interesting point of conversation
Weston +
Eoin - I don't really want to subject Weston to the ba*tardry which is Eoin, but it's amusing. Depending on whether Weston is still hung up on the idea of the eel being man-eating or not, this could go two ways. If he does, maybe Eoin just has enough and marches Weston out to the lake to try and find the eel to find out the answer once and for all or something ridiculous like that.
Celia +
Rhys - Maybe another HM sort of thread with talking about articles. I think Rhys probably has some opinions about her op-ed column, the question is just if he is actually going to bring them up or not

Harper - Speaking of trouble, I think their last few threads (barring the duel) have kind of centered on rule-breaking, so it could be fun to continue that streak? Especially since Flynn is a prefect. Definitely also happy to have them talk about the election although I don't think Harper would be aware that Siobhan is his mom unless he tells her.
Eoin and
Weston - Not only does he still believe the eel is completely capable of eating a person, but he now has a theory that there is a whole colony of man-eating eels in the lake. The mental image of Eoin marching Weston to the lake is incredible, especially if he tries to get Weston in the water because he would freak out.
Rhys and
Celia - Well
someone needs to tell her that no one cares about her overwritten lukewarm takes. Also, if it helps, she is 100% willing to bring up her opinions about the Quidditch story he wrote last semester

Ooh, yes, we should definitely change that! I feel like they would get along? (Harper usually gets along with most people). She spends a lot of time outdoors, and I know Rosemarie's big thing is plants, so we could do something on the grounds/in the gardens? Also happy to do something else!

Harper x Nikko: I'd love to have these two hang out some more. I think he'd be mostly over his heartbreak once the new year starts but he's probably still a little sensitive and needs a friend. But he also has his own issues with muggle v magical relations which they've talked about before but could always go a little deeper with that if you'd like!
Harper x Delilah: I've really enjoyed their interactions in the past and I'd love to do more with them, maybe have them be proper friends?? I do kind of love that they come from such polar opposite backgrounds which could be fun to play with since Harper is having a bit of a crisis. She's is also a bit Sad™ at the moment but is trying really hard to be outspoken and I think Harper does bring out a more laid back version of her.
Weston x Indi: I'm honestly keen to do pretty much anything with these two. I'm sure he's going to have a million questions about her sister and she'd make him study for exams even if he doesn't want to. Also EEL EEL EEL! I'd love for them to try and take to the lake again and maybe tag in Salem if Kris is willing. But yes, love these two.
Celia x Caleb: I think she has become his unofficial rival, especially where dueling is involved after this years tournament. She's finally gone from some what interesting to annoy recreationally to someone he actively has something against. I doubt she's noticed him much but he is in the corner fuming regardless.

Harper - Harper will also be needing a friend after the break, so I definitely want them to hang out more (especially now that she's over her crush). Plus she needs to tell him that he doesn't have to play soccer with her anymore. Maybe something set right after the break makes sense? Could be a normal hangout. Or she could steal food from the kitchens and ambush him with confetti in celebration of his Quidditch captaincy.
Delilah and
Harper - Ah amazing, I also really enjoy them together, and Harper could always use more friends! I think Harper would enjoy hanging out with someone outside her usual circles and who isn't really aware of everything that's going on in her life. I also think it's interesting that they're both middle children and the oldest (or only) daughters in their families and kind of have to deal with the pressures that come with that. Not sure if you had any specific ideas, but I'm happy to do a thread wherever.
Indi and
Weston - I think Weston's realizing he doesn't know enough about Indi's family life, so yes, he fully plans on grilling her about her sister
They're definitely overdue for another lake thread, so maybe we start with that once the holiday one wraps up? (Salem is obviously welcome to join). Once it's closer to OWLs, maybe we could also do a study session thread?
Caleb and
Celia - She definitely hasn't noticed, but I think she'd much prefer to be someone he dislikes rather than someone he annoys for fun. She might even find it amusing in a very condescending way. I feel like having them run into each other in the dueling chamber or the trophy room is a pretty natural start? Or really anywhere, if you think he'd approach her first.
Felix and
Harper - I'm adding this one out of pure selfishness, so you're free to say no. But if Felix ever wants to talk about animagus stuff, Harper is definitely willing to answer questions and give training tips (if he ends up doing that). I know we'd talked about doing a thread last year, and I have some ideas now that I've kind of revealed her form on board. But if you're no longer interested, that's totally fine!

Weston - It's been a while since they've threaded, so I'd love to do something with the two of them. I saw that Branson likes board games, so maybe a round of wizard's chess? We could also just do something in the dorms/common room. Weston's always happy to talk to Branson and considers him a friend (as he does basically everyone he's met)
Valeria and
Weston - I really like their little friendship, and I'm definitely down for more threads with them! I think Weston also wants to ask her about that rose she sent because he is very confused. (I think her views on dating in general confuse him lol)
Liusaidh and
Celia - Ooh, these two would be fun. I think Celia's a little wary of not pissing off Liusaidh too much (on or off the field) since she doesn't want to risk getting benched, and she knows Liusaidh is a prefect. But she definitely has opinions about the current team lineup, and I think she'd want to subtly (or not-so-subtly) suggest a few changes
But if you wanted to do something election-related maybe Harper is reading an article on the election and Flynn casually asks if she could pass it over so he could read it and see what they're saying about his mum.
