Y38 Gryffindor Quidditch Practice S1

Nikko clapped as Sully made another goal. But got ready as one of the new chasers grabbed the quaffle and headed right at him. She was quick and before he could see she was aiming for the left hoop, the quaffle was going through the hoop. He felt bad for making such a simple mistake but he smiled and called out to her. "Good shot!" Nikko threw the quaffle back into the game and stayed alert.
 
Sully was on fire, and Lysander had to step up his own game. He flew after another bludger, and swung at it, again aiming for a Gold member, though it spiralled off course and hit @Chloe Thompson instead. "Oh, for..." He huffed, waving his bat apologetically. "Sorry!"
 
Knox eagerly arrived to his first practice and smiled as he greeted the new team members. He put on his gear, and noted in his mind that he was in team gold before flying into the air as the practice began. Knox followed behind Sully with the quaffle, and couldn’t help but smile when Sully scored. Even if it was team scarlet against team gold, Sully making a goal meant good things for Gryffindor and Knox was proud of his friend. Knox followed along with the game, cheering when Skylar managed to take possession of the quaffle and score. “Yay! Team gold!” Knox shouted, proud that a new member to the team was playing so well. Knox then swerved back to keep an eye on the quaffle as it was thrown back into the game.​
 
Chloë was felt ready for practice, excited to get started again as she made her way onto the pitch. She smiled at her friends and listened to what Lysander had to say. She happily returned Sully's fist bump before pushing off into the air, following along as he headed for the hoops and giving a small cheer when managed to get one in right away. Even if it was against their new keeper. She winced when he got hit by a bludger, although it didn't seem to have had too much of an impact since he managed to score a second time. Chloë circled back and caught the quaffle after Skylar had managed to score, only barely managing to hold on to it when she got smacked with a bludger the moment she had turned around to head back to the other side of the pitch. She grabbed her shoulder for a second with her free hand in an attempt to rub the pain away, before giving Lysander a short, dismissive wave as if to say it was fine before continuing her way across the pitch.
 
Sully wasn't ready for how fast Skylar was once she got the quaffle, and she was across the pitch before he or Chloë could stop her. Chloë was able to get the quaffle, and even hold onto it after a nasty bludger hit and Sully beamed with pride. "I think your bludgers are bias, Lysander," he called out, flying up next to Chloë in case she needed the back up as they approached the goal.
 
Still no sign of the snitch and Flynn sighed heavily, his grip tightening on his broom. He couldn't look bad in front of the team. Not during practice when their first match was going to be a rivalry. He needed to find the snitch and prove he could do this.
 
Noel was racing after the other chasers and Sully was on an roll again. He was with some new players and was eager to see what they could do. Also Knox was there for chaser squad. He grinned as he heard Sully speaking, the show-off. Flying along as Skylar got the quaffle and cheering as she scored. '' Yeah go Skylar!'' He than said with an smile. But than got hit by an bludger and made an painfull face, there was Lysander too ofcourse. He tried to get an good sit on the broom again and raced after Chloe after she got the quaffle looking out for Knox and Skylar to help him out.
 
Chloë continued towards the hoops, glad Sully was there to back her up since she could already see Noel close by.
 
After scoring, Skylar felt ecstatic, but knew she needed to focus back on the game, so she tried to stay near Chloe who had the quaffle but didn't see a chance to intercept or steal it yet. She decided to try and fly a bit further ahead, but the burst of speed she put on backfired on her, and she almost lost her balance for the second time in the span of only a few minutes, so she decided to hang back and steady herself again, and see whether one of her teammates got the quaffle instead. She reasoned that it was better to hang back for a few minutes than to injure herself by falling off her broom, right?
 
Not seeing a solid chance to pass to Sully with the other chasers right on their heels Chloë flew up to the hoops. She aimed for the right hoop once she got close enough, grinning as she turned around to high five Sully after the quaffle had sailed right through.
 
Their chasers were always really good and Flynn smiled when more goals were made. At least they were having better luck than him.
 
Ronald tries his best to stop the quaffle at the right side of the ring but the speed of the quaffle take to enter the ring but in a little bit he catches the ball but he's too late and the result scarlet team get another score, Ronald want to recover and to get another point he tries to pass the quaffle to Skylar on the other side and wish that his attempt will be successful in Gold Team.
 
Lysander chuckled at Sully’s comment. ”They’re cursed!” He called out, zooming off to hit another.
 
Chloë hoovered in her spot, trying to see if there was any way she could intercept the quaffle when Ronald threw it back out again.
 
He tried to get closer to Chloe and managed but she threw the quaffle and scored. Noel felt pressure and knew his fellow chasers were very good. He catched the quaffle as it was tossed back by Ronald and tried to continue as fast as he could to the other side, looking out for Skylar or Knox.
 
When he came closer to the hoops he made an attempt and cheered as he scored. This was an good start and he was glad to do it at the first attempt of the practice. “ Yes!!!” He than said and tried to spot the rest.
 
Sully whooped when Chloë scored, happily returning her high five. Noel grabbed the quaffle next, and Sully wasn't able to do much but heckle him as he followed along until Noel managed to make his own goal. "Lucky shot," he called with a grin, grabbing the quaffle from Nikko and turning back towards the other hoops. He and Chloë were a great team on or off the pitch, so he knew they could land a few more goals to keep Scarlet's lead easy.
 
Chloë had followed Noel after he caught the quaffle, wondering if he’d pass to any of his teammates. She chuckled at his excitement when he managed to get his shot in, quickly turning around to back up Sully when he flew off with the quaffle.
 
Not a single sign of the snitch. Flynn couldn't help but feel a little bad, especially seeing how well the chasers were currently doing. But he tried not to let it get to him too much as he flew closer to the stands in the hopes that maybe it was just hiding among the seats.
 
Approaching Ronald, Sully passed the quaffle to Chloë confident they could both manage two goals in a row. @Chloe Thompson
 
Chloë caught the quaffle when Sully passed it to her, pushing forward in an attempt to keep ahead of the team gold chasers. When she saw an opening she threw it at the left hoop, feeling a little bad for Ronald when it soared through again. “You guys gotta up your game.” She joked as she turned around to face the other chasers, grinning at Sully. They really did make a good team.
 
Noel was still happy with his score but ofcourse Chloe and Sully were quick and he tried to race after him flying after them. The love birds seemed to be doing well and he grinned. '' Will be fine. Come get me!'' He said towards Chloe and Sully with an grin, as he catched the quaffle again and turned the other way again trying to get an score, or to toss it over to another chaser.
 
Skylar grinned as more goals were scored, even if it was by Team Scarlet. If this was how they’d play in the house matches she was sure they’d do well! She saw that Noel currently had the quaffle and flew over to him, staying a bit ahead of him in case he wanted to pass to her since she was closer to the goals.
 
Noel flew along and spotted Skylar close, doubting if he had to pass it but wanted to try himself. If he would score again that would give him the confidence he needed. So when he got closer he tried to throw it hard into the left hoop and cheered as he noticed it went through. Both of the keepers had a lot of shots to endure, so he felt for them. But the practice was good he figured. He grinned as he flew closer to the other chasers. '' You asked, and I delivered'' He said with an grin at the comment Chloe had made.
 
Chloë laughed at Noel’s response, flying after him after he had caught the quaffle. “Fair enough.” She chuckled when they reached the hoops and he managed to get the quaffle through. She caught the quaffle when Nikko threw it back out and quickly turned around to head back across the pitch.
