Open The Stands

Lumio knew the game would be a good distration, and he liked quidditch plenty so it would be good. Though he didn't think he'd ever play it, he still very much enjoyed watching it. He arrived at the pitch and was looking for a spot to sit. He noticed his brother but decided to not go to speak to him, instead he just found a spot in amongst some other gryffindors and was so ready to cheer very loudly for his house.

Leia didn't care much about quidditch, but with it being the game for the cup she thought it wouldn't be good of her to not attend it. She was interested in attending it, and hopeful of another slytherin win. They were on a winning streak and she thought as a double champion of her year in duelling to always be in the house that won the quidditch cup would be nice. They weren't going to win the house cup so this was the next best thing. She sat down at the stands looking at the pitch as proceedings began, she wanted to sit with Vader who she noticed a little away from her but he was a gryffindor and she was clearly there to support Slytherin, she couldn't be seen to be almost supporting another house.

Connor had barely left the Hufflepuff common area since his fight with Nicole, but he knew that couldn't last. It would be stupid to spend his life hiding away just because people he had thought he could trust turned out to be jerks. And he needed something to take his mind off his worries, though of course Quidditch came with its downsides. He definitely couldn't cheer for Emma anymore. Connor felt strange even sitting in the Gryffindor stands, picking a spot near the back and hoping nobody would hassle him if he wasn't as enthusiastic as the rest of the crowd. He had brought a notepad and quill, deciding he would take a tip from Nikko. He had been intrigued by the idea of watching Quidditch like a journalist ever since Nikko mentioned it, and wondered if he could pick up any ideas from the older, more experienced Beaters on the champion teams. Maybe next year Hufflepuff would be the ones playing this match. So he settled in at the back and prepared to study the game, rather than just watch it.

When the game began Giselle watched it and spotted Lius playing. She grinned, she so hoped she was gonna be knocked of her broom. It was only her which she would not mind. And hopefully she would play bad so she could make fun of it. But Slytherin scored already, woohoe her house amazing.. But someone got hit directly by an beater and she sighted. Even more when she spotted Tilly close. '' Here to have fun, and cheer about people getting knocked off their brooms?'' She than said as she turned to her. She than looked at the game again and back. ''' I will only cheer if Lius is getting hit.'' Giselle than said to her. She was still mad at Tilly for betraying her. Not the she knew the reason why she hated this sport so much.
@Tilly Drage

Briar made her way up the steps in the stands. She was decked all in red. She wasn't sue if staff were meant to take sides but she was a Gryffindor through and through. though it had been a good many years since she had dressed in the scarlet robes on this pitch. She didn't know many of the players. she had only one class and there were surprisingly few students in it. but she recognised the Gryffindor captain as a friend of both linden and willow. though she couldn't see the other captain who had taken her daughters role. it was a shame that this year was the semester she had been teaching it would have been good to see the matches last year but alas that was not how things worked out. often life didn't work out exactly as you hoped it would especially if you were hoping int retrospect.
the game started and she let out a sigh like hiss as the Slytherin chaser got the quaffle but she was distracted as a thunk sounded asthe Gryffindor beater managed to hit the bludger and she watched as it hit the Slytherin seeker. willow had always said that the seekers were the biggest targets. as the name of the seeker came over the commentary she realised she did recognise it well not the first name but she must be related to fleur. she continued watching cheering when gryffindor made advancements to hopefully their victory.

Brooke was keen to hopefully see Slytherin take the cup again this year, taking her seats and cheering as the game started off with them scoring twice in a row. It was also interesting to see that Gryffindor had put Flynn North in as their seeker. It was pretty impressive to be starting seeker as a second year, but Brooke had to wonder if it smacked more of desperation than any testament to Flynn's skills. She supposed she'd find out, but Gryffindor's beaters didn't seem to be pulling any punches though and Brooke side-eyed Rosenberg when she spotted her in the stands. Why she kept coming to games when everyone knew she hated them, Brooke just didn't understand.

Elliot wasn't going to lie and say he was completely over how badly Hufflepuff's quidditch season had gone this year, but he still wanted to see how the finals played out. Skirting the stands, he was surprised to see Connor set up and taking notes, dropping down beside him after giving Tilly a look when he saw her nearby in the stands. He'd hoped she'd learnt her lesson after the last game, but he was going to keep an eye on her. "Any good insights yet?" He asked Connor, nodding down to the paper in his hands. Usually Elliot would also be keeping a close eye on the other teams, especially their chasers, but he was too far done with Quidditch this year and had decided to just enjoy the match for once. @Connor Holland

Playing the same position as Emma made it difficult to ignore her but Connor started out the match determined to do his best, focusing on how the other beaters were playing. It was even harder to keep ignoring her, though, as the Gryffindor landed hit after hit. Connor begrudgingly paid attention to the angles and timings of her shots, taking a few notes with gritted teeth and pointedly omitting her name. He jumped slightly when Elliot approached him, glancing at the captain nervously. He really didn't want a prefect seeing him being as angry as he was towards Emma. "Oh, um, it's fine!" Connor said too quickly, covering up his notes. "The Gryffindor beaters are playing well." He said a bit gruffly, hoping Elliot wouldn't pry. "I wanted to... see if I can... approach the game more like something to... study, pick up some tips for next year." He mumbled, hoping Elliot didn't think this was silly. He desperately wanted to do his best for the team, but he also didn't want to look nervous in front of his captain.

Nicole tried to focus on the game as it got started, and not one wondering who might be in the stands looking or talking about her. It was a relief though when Ajax joined her and she smiled softly at him, smile growing when he promised to support Slytherin. "Well in that case, I suppose you're allowed," She said, turning to watch as the game kicked off. Emma managed to immediately knock a bludger into Blake, which looked like it hurt. "I never know if I should cheer for those or not," She admitted to Ajax as an aside. She'd been feeling more fiercely fond of Emma since everything with Eric had gone down, grateful for her friend's unwavering support. "Like good shot but also poor Blake." She was distracted when they managed to score and Nicole threw her arms up to cheer, letting out an embarrassed giggle at her own excited reaction. @Ajaccio Skey

Elliot gave Connor an awkward smile, unable shake the distinct feeling he was making him uncomfortable. When Connor scrambled to shuffle his notes, Elliot did his best to pointedly watch the game, nodding when Connor mentioned the Gryffindor beaters. "Yeah, they'll need a good offense. I haven't really seen Flynn play but.. Well we know Blake is good so the extra pressure'll be necessary," Elliot said, giving a small shrug of defeat at admitting just how Blake actually was. It always rubbed him the wrong way that Blake seemed to get everything no matter how hard Elliot worked for it, but it didn't help anything to pretend Slytherin wasn't a good team. "That's smart, I do it a lot," He said as Connor explained his notes, quietly making a mental note of it. It was odd to think it'd be his last year not just at school, but on the team, and it would be good to keep an eye on who was putting in the work for the team for the future. @Connor Holland

Connor relaxed slightly when Elliot complimented him on his notes, beaming with pride. "I thought it might help." He agreed, looking back out onto the pitch again. The match looked fairly standard from here, and it was strange watching and feeling so calm when he remembered vividly how intense and stressful everything had felt during Hufflepuff's last couple of matches. He wondered if the players felt as calm as he did, or if their hearts were racing like his always did on the field. "Blake is definitely good, but young players can get lucky sometimes..." Connor said with a small shrug, thinking of the fluke shot he had pulled off against Slytherin earlier in the year. "Plus, Blake's already been hit. Flynn might be able to pull it through..."
@Elliot Briar

Tilly looked over at Giselle. For as much as the Slytherin hated Quidditch, she made sure to attend every game. “Well, that’s not likely, since Liusaidh is an alternate. If she’s hit by a bludger, a beater messed up.” She looked back to the pitch. It was another quick game, with, no surprise, Blake Irons catching the snitch again. However, it was a surprise when Blake flew straight into the stands and smooched another boy- the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. That didn’t happen every game. She couldn’t say she was thoroughly entertained, but at least she could say she had shown up.

@Giselle Rosenberg

Lars knew it would draw questions if he openly cheered for Slytherin, especially with his sister on the team. So all he had with him was a Slytherin tie, tied around his wrist that his robes hid. On his face he had a few smears of red facepaint Emma had put there, and Lars felt a little guilty for being torn between the teams. But that only meant that he would be happy with either outcome. So... that was alright, right? The game started, and Lars winced as Emma immediately hit a bludger at Blake. He followed the Slytherin as he flew on, hoping to see if he was hurt. But Blake seemed to be doing fine, and Lars was unable to take his eyes off him. He knew the chasers were scoring, but he was only paying attention to Blake. So he was probably one of the first people to notice when Blake's hand closed around the snitch, and he couldn't fight the grin that appeared on his face at the sight of his happiness. He watched him yell and fly around the pitch, and he clapped and cheered for him in the stands, momentarily forgetting he was technically supposed to be supporting Gryffindor.

But then Blake did something unexpected, he flew up to the stands and landed right in front of him. Lars' heart started pounding. What was he doing? Did he forget everyone was watching? But it was impossible to forget, as everyone was still cheering and yelling around them, though a quiet also seemed to have fallen over the stands. But maybe that was just Lars. He yelped as Blake pulled him into a kiss, his eyes widening in shock for a moment before he closed them and kissed him back. He knew how big a moment thsi was for Blake, but he also wanted to be lost in this moment. He wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him back, feeling like he was soaring himself.

@Blake Irons

Minnie hoped this would be a short game. She hoped that she'd watch - likely an easy victory for either team and get back to her studying. It was important to know how the other teams were and so far Slytherin were rather unbeatable. The game got started with everyone putting in their usual force and she winced a little at the bludger hits but slytherin caught the snitch and she watched as the seeker came to the stands, stopping in front of Lars and kissed him. "Oh," she said with a little surprise, she'd thought there was perhaps something going on there, but seeing it, everything began making sense to her. Lars had seemed slightly sadder this year and her interactions with Blake, at least the last one made her think perhaps why. Why he'd signed up to an event that brought him to the ball with a girl, his old views, his apology. His admission about his parents. "Oh," she said a little more sadly. Perhaps she could reach out to him, someone who was possibly going to have to deal with what she was dealing with she didn't know much about Blake's home life, but she only hoped it wouldn't be too bad. But perhaps she could reach out...Minnie just felt happy for Lars and Blake, and left the stands, she did have to get back to work.

Elliot nodded along with Connor's observations, still watching the game closely. "Yeah, obviously you need a strong seeker, but good beaters can really make a difference," He said, giving Connor a small smile. His attention was pulled back to the game when he saw a rush of movement, his heart speeding up in that familiar way when he realized Blake had seen the snitch. No, not even that, Blake had already caught it. Honestly, if Elliot could spare a moment to not fruitlessly compare himself to Blake as a seeker, he'd be wildly impressed by him. As it was, he just sighed, clapping gamely as Blake did a victory lap. Just once, Elliot would have liked to see Blake lose. It was exhausting seeing the other boy seem to get everything he wanted.

It was odd when Blake finished his lap but didn't land, instead heading for the stands. Elliot half got to his feet when he saw Blake clatter to a stop in front of Lars, sure he wouldn't do anything too crazy in front of the whole school. He realized maybe his definition of crazy could be slightly off when Blake kissed Lars though, his brain grinding to a halt a the sight of it. "Uh. What?" He said dumbly, blinking and looking to Connor before looking back at Lars and Blake, as if to check it was still happening. @Connor Holland

Jenna walk the stands and she loved somtimes spend time and wached the game. Soon be exam and she was ready for the game and she wanted enypi a little time herself. Her brother was told her that she looked like her mother but she didn't know it was a good our a bad thing? She missed spend some time with @Wendall Layton but mayby he don't wanted enymore spend time with her and she was make mistake they friendship.

Nicole was as excited for today's game as she ever was, thrilled that Slytherin was in the finals once again, but that last thing she wanted was to spend today alone, or worse, run into someone like Connor while spectating. So, against her better judgement, she'd brought along Ryan. They'd barely even gotten to their seats when she was already questioning the decision, fussing at him until he'd finally sit down and stop staring gormlessly at the French players as they took to the field. "Look, just sit here and watch the game then you can go back to whatever you were doing, okay. Please." She didn't want any weird questions and comments from Ryan right now, she just needed some impartial company that wasn't about to judge her for dating choices.

It wasn't often Nicole asked Ryan for favours, at least not as insistently as she had today. He'd been content spending the day cataloging which types of lettuce his streeler liked the most, but Nicole hadn't seemed to be interested in Ryan's preferences today. She'd all but dragging him out to the stands and tugging until he'd sat down next to her. "Do I have a choice?" He asked her flatly, glancing out to the pitch as the game began and Nicole let out a little excited cheer. Ryan didn't know why, no one had really done anything yet. It wasn't long till there was a small commotion though and Slytherin had managed to catch the snitch, the stands erupting with cheers. "There, it's over, can I go now?" He didn't know how long arugula could sit without wilting and he was sure streelers probably hated wilted lettuce.
