Spam-A-Lot! Your one stop shop for spam!

I keep meaning to study, I open my booklet and everything.

and then I go and do something else
... sigh

Just posting here to say i made the strongest ice coffee by accident and now my tastebuds are dying x_x

I tried this new coffee based syrup (one of the proper ones that actually has caffeine/coffee in it) and didn't realise a little is supposed to go a long way and hoooo boy I will be awake all day :teehee:

I like to come and bring it back every now and then, I was a MASSIVE spam user back in the day, I'm sad it's been a bit shafted

I wasn't a massive spam user but also prefer it to shouty.
Here's my semi-annual complaint about hating daylight savings time. Can't wait until they do away with it or I move somewhere that doesn't pay attention to it.

i sort of don’t even really get daylight savings time. I have no idea what it’s for.

in the summer I’m grateful that it doesn’t start getting light at 3am, but I would prefer longer winter evenings instead!! D:

I like daylight savings time here because the evenings are just so much nicer in summer with it but the change between always does my head in.

I don’t think it does much here. In Aus. Qld doesn’t follow daylight savings time at all.

Ugh, I despise daylight savings!
My mum lives in Qld and I live in NSW.
Qld doesn't do daylight savings, NSW does. So there's an hour difference between us, which makes trying to coordinate things irritating to say the least!

We don't have Daylight savings =))

I forgot to put that I also hate Daylight Savings Time... because when ya'll have it, the time of my meetings shift and it's not fun to have night meetings become later night meetings =))

Oh you feel it in Victoria - in summer, it's still light out at 9:30pm. Which honestly isn't so bad, because I hate getting home from work at 5pm and it already being dark. (It does suck when I go to Melbourne over the break and I'm like "it doesn't feel like it's time for dinner yet" but when I go to get food it's already 8pm and everything's closing/closed). But when it gets closer to ending and it's 7:30am and the sun isn't even up yet I'm like "if the sun isn't up, then neither am I" but I still have to go to work, that sucks.

it doesn't help that daylight savings makes our weird timezones even more weird. I'm used to coordinating around it because I have family all over Australia (and the world) but that doesn't make me like it when there is more timezones I have to deal with actually.

This hour difference is still messing me up xD When will it end =))

It gets fun when you deal with the weird half hour difference between Victoria and South Australia (I'm right near the border) then when you have 2 timezones becoming four between September and April.

Yeah it's a bit silly when it comes to that, like what is the point?????

It messes me up too! Like WHAT

Sometimes it's nice living in a small country like New Zealand - you don't have to worry about time zones within the country. I can imagine it gets confusing living in Australia sometimes when you need to communicate across different states.

Yeah working nationally or internationally can get strange that's for sure.

Nothing quite like needing to communicate with Perth at my job but I have to wait until 12pm my time for them to even have started work :D
