Everyone can join this! It will be nice if there would come a lot of people watching. Also Professors for keeping things as they should be. And pointing people to the exit if they are interrupting the show or being unkind to the performers. The spectators can react in this topic.

You can follow the show here

Monty never ceased to be amazed by the students' creativity, and the Heta Omega talent show was the perfect opportunity for their work to be showcased. It was quite incredible what the club leaders had managed to organise all by themselves; even the hall had been beautifully decorated. The Professor stood, rather than sat, at the side, where he could keep an eye on students whose chatter became disruptive. Much as he wanted to watch the show, he did have a duty to be there as well. He clapped as Evelyn, Noemie and Amber took to the stage and the Gryffindor began to speak. With ten acts and three prizes, the odds of winning something were quite good, though Monty was fully supportive of the show being all in good fun; and indeed, whatever the outcome, it looked as if there would be no shortage of that.

Syrus made his way down to great hall following a crowd of his peers who were attending he assumed, Heta Omega's Talent show. Curiosity got the best of him, either that or he was right out ditching his assignments for a bit of entertainment. It wasn't much of reason to skip out on his work, but he'd be stupid to miss out in what could possibly the highlight on his evening. Syrus casually tailed the crowd, then went on his own looking for a seat somewhere near the front. Next to some random Ravenclaw kid, though he wouldn't know as they were out of robes, Syrus made himself comfortable. He sat and stretched his limbs out, resting his heels underneath chair position in front of him. "Excuse me did she said something about fashion? Are you kidding me, that's not a reason to win a trophy," Syrus snorted, shaking his head. "That's pretty lame," he went on to comment. He cannot make sense of the connection between the two.

Therese entered the Great Hall and found a spot in the middle of the audience. She was excited for the show and was curious what people would show. It took a lot of courage to stand on this stage she figured so she wanted to give them all a round of applause. But that would come later. She listened as Evelyn started to speak and smiled. It was nice of her and good to say that the audience had to behave as well. Therese thought that was an important subject and she noticed Professor Pendleton standing, so she was happy to see that there were professors as well. Therese applaused as Evelyn was ready with speaking and listened to Amber her prefect. Therese thought the girl was nice and she explained the stuff well. There were also duo's and Therese knew April would be performing and she was gonna cheer for her friend ofcourse. She also clapped for Amber and the other girl from Ravenclaw was about to speak. Therese couldn't wait for the show to start.

Chante already had mind to attend the talent show since Willow would be up there debuting whatever talent she wanted to showcase to the school. Whatever it was, Chante did not want to miss a second of it. Unaware the talent her cousin possessed, Chante confident Willow won't disappoint. Plus, it was nice enough the Heta Omega were hosting such an event. The club Chante skipped joining on the count she could not see herself being a part all female group. If all goes well with the show and they were fair at judging, maybe who knows? Maybe the young Hufflepuff would join up next year. For the time being, Chante settled for a seat near the side of the stage. Where she could cheer on Willow the loudest and avoid Professor Pendleton. A blush creep up across her cheeks as she duck down in her seat. Like it happen yesterday, Chante can't seem to get over their little incident last year. And she can't forget about the rando anonymous who thought it was funny to lead her astray. Pushing all that out of her mind, the young girl huffed and sat up in chair. Willow counted on her support and cheers, none of that stuff matter. It bother her at random moments in her weeks, however, since the professor recovered Chante was genuinely happy to see him doing well. The intensity of last year really seem to have had some effect on her.

Fleur of course was at the talent show watching. She never would have thought to show off her own talent, drawing would take too long. And it was more of a private way to relieve stress for her. Evelyn was her best friend so it only felt right being there to show her support to her friend. She looked around in the audience thinking she'd see Evelyn's latest boyfriend, the one she wanted for so long and finally got but couldn't see him at the moment. That made her huff thinking to herself he'd better show up. But Amber was talking and so Fleur turned her attention back to the front proud of her fashion friends for putting together a talent show. Waiting for the first act to arrive Fleur glanced around the room again. It seemed like a decent size audience had come out, despite the fact finals were coming up so close, seemed like others weren't that concerned with how they would do, or they were probably sick of studying like she was.

Tristan really had better things to do this near the end of his OWL year, but he was at the talent show to watch and support his girlfriend. He probably wasn’t going to stay for the entire show, so he was glad to hear October was going to be the first to perform. He listened impatiently as the three girls that were running Heta Omega announced what they were going to do and went over the rules. If he got to run the brotherhood next year, he had to organize events too. Maybe even work together with the Heta Omega president. So he did try to pay attention. But truthfully, the boy was glad when they were done talking and the first act began.

The moment October took to the stage, his breath caught. She was always gorgeous, but for the show she had really dressed up. He watched in fascination as she danced ballet, not even noticing the lack of music for a moment. He had never before had any sort of interest in ballet, or any sort of dance. He had known October had been practicing ballet since she was little, but somehow he hadn’t expected her to be this good. Which was silly, because she was good at everything she worked hard on. October left the stage briefly, which left Tristan confused. It wasn’t like her to mess things up. But when she returned with her violin, his expression morphed into a grin. It was clear what she was going to do, and he watched in amazement as she executed it almost perfectly. He had known she played violin too, but he hadn’t expected her to combine the two skills she had like this. It was clearly taking a lot of energy, but when she finished he had to admit she looked beautiful and happy. He had never been very creative himself, and for the first time he felt a pang of longing, of wondering what it would be like to create something like this. He applauded her loudly, getting to his feet to show his appreciation. He wasn’t sure if she would pick him out of the crowd, but he hoped she did.

Jacob hadn't even noticed the flyers around the school, but Onyx and Sapphire had mentioned they were performing and practically begged asked him to attend. And once he had and seen a program, he realize they were going just before some of his other friends, Emilia and Athena. Jacob's eyebrows had risen quite high when he spotted Emilia's name. He knew her to be a quiet and shy girl, but he was very proud that she was going to go up there and show off a bit. He didn't really know anyone else on the list, Kauri and April, he supposed. But he wasn't anywhere near as excited to see them as he was his friends.

Jacob arrived in the middle of the first act, some girl dancing around onstage. Looking around, Jacob spotted a friendly face in Tristan but he seemed pretty distracted watching the girl. Jacob looked back at the stage and then back at the older teenager and then he had a feeling he got it. Sort of anyway. Jacob found a seat a little bit away from Tristan just as the act finished. He clapped half heartedly, waiting for the next to begin. It was a rap act, much more his style and he nodded his head to the beat, watching the girl do gymnastics and laughing loudly as she finished. While he disagreed that Slytherin was the best, he liked the act and clapped loudly as they finished, booing as a prefect came on stage to tell them not to curse. He couldn't wait to see what would come next.

Admittedly, Katherine had been looking forward to Heta Omega's Talent Show. It was a fantastic way to showcase talent amongst the student body, that didn't necessarily center around their grades or academic prowess. As important as it was for students to study and do well in their subjects, it was equally important for them to have hobbies and skills outside of simply what was taught in the classroom, and so the woman was eager to see exactly what kinds of things the students could showcase. Naturally, she expected a few of the entries to not be too serious, particularly with how many pranksters were amongst the inhabitants of the castle, but her expectations were still relatively high.

Seated amongst the audience, the headmistress split her attention between those on the stage, and those spectating to help in ensuring that everyone remained well-behaved, though the majority of her focus remained with those who were performing. She was here to enjoy the show, after all, and did her best not to be too noticeable. The first entrant, Miss Alcott, proved to be quite admirable with both dance and music incorporated into her performance, and Katherine could hardly take her eyes off of the impressive display. The violin was one of her favourite instruments, so perhaps there was some slight bias in her preference, but overall it was a performance she enjoyed immensely. As it ended, the woman applauded politely, pleased with such a positive start to the show. Then, two first years took to the stage, and the high bar October had set quickly plummeted. The rap was...lacking, as was the young girls cartwheels, but being as young as they were, they certainly deserved points for trying. Until the foul language, that was, though the Hufflepuff prefect was quick to warn them for it. A warning one of the audience members didn't appear to appreciate too much. "Mr Kingsley." Katherine cautioned simply, her voice a stern whisper. Booing a prefect for doing their job was not behaviour the woman expected from someone with the boy's background.

Monty knew there were talented musicians among the school, for he often heard music drifting from the conglomerated arts room when he walked through the courtyard. But watching October perform up on the stage, it was as if his eyes had suddenly been opened to the degree of talent; and though he had absolutely nothing to do with it, he felt strangely proud. He clapped as her performance came to an end, wondering whether anybody would be able to reach the bar she had set. Phineas and Uno were up next. Monty raised an eyebrow as Phineas began to rap about how amazing they were, but by the end of it he was laughing - until Uno swore loudly to the audience. Where did eleven year olds learn to use such language? As Amber caught his eye, Monty gave her a slight nod of his head to let her know she'd done the right thing, making a mental note to have a word with Uno later. The next contestant shortly entered the stage, looking quite a bit more nervous than the Slytherins before her. Monty sent encouraging thoughts her way, as if somehow she might pick them up telepathically. She didn't have anything to worry about. Once she started, it became clear she was another very gifted student - or one who had worked incredibly hard at her hobbies. Monty clapped again as Willow finished, thoroughly enjoying the show and excited for who might surprise him next.

Chante found it easily to focus on the stage once each performer took to the stage. It was like seeing the creatures her mother looked after for the first time. Each performance was unique in their own ways. Chante thought October's talents were interesting. Prancing around like a unicorn, if a unicorn were capable of playing a violin. Chante couldn't see herself ever move so delicately like the girl. In the next performance, Chante was instantly reminded of America for some reason. Like back at the rez in Solen, when the rez boys would blast their rap music outside their open windows all day. Which is typically fused with a fast flowing beat to accompany the lyrics. Chante noted the lack of music, otherwise, it wasn't all that bad. The girl jumping and flipping didn't seem to make sense to Chante. The second performance was done and then finally, Willow came out to the stage. "Let's go Willow! Wooot, go Willow!" The Hufflepuff shouted, both hands cup her mouth to amplify her shouts. With a strap around her neck and the guitar nestled in Willow's hold, her cousin started to sing. Silent fell over as she listen to her cousin's performance. It must've slipped her mind, oh how could she forget about her cousin's talents in singing and playing the guitar?! Chante was blown away, clapping and cheering for the cub. The ending was bitter sweet, Chante couldn't help but want more from the redhead.

"Willow! Willow! Listen you were amazing! I can't wait to tell mom about this!" Chante hugged her cousin once she was seated right besides her. Chante didn't really give her a chance to sit right away. Chante hugged her cousin tight, laughing way too loud. "Oops," Chante clapped her mouth shut. Chante sat down with Willow eventually. Chante believed Willow deserved to win after that legendary performance.

Lizzie didn't really know anyone performing in the talent show, but with no Quidditch matches to look forward to, any excuse not to study was a welcome one. She settled in to a seat to enjoy the show, only half-listening as Evelyn and Amber laid out how things were going to run. As much as she liked Evelyn, Lizzie was glad she had only stayed in Heta Omega for a year. She would go mad trying to get by in a club where Amber was one of the people in charge.

Thankfully, the show started relatively quickly. Lizzie recognised the first performer as Ravenclaw's new seeker, though she quickly got distracted from the girl's act. It was an impressive show of skill, sure, but Lizzie didn't have the attention span for something so boring. She applauded politely when it was done though, hoping the show wouldn't all be like this. Thankfully, the next act came as a breath of fresh air. It wasn't exactly perfectly executed, but the kids looked like they were having fun, and Lizzie clapped along and cheered when they were done, rolling her eyes when Amber spoiled their fun by telling them off. She heard someone booing Amber and was proud when she spotted the source of the noise. Waiting until Professor Alicastell wasn't looking, Lizzie caught Jacob's eye and gave him a quick thumbs up. She settled back down when the next act started, enjoying the girl's performance. It was a lot more fun to listen to than the first musical act, and she applauded the girl loudly when she was finished.

Diana wasn’t jealous that she hadn’t been invited to be part of the act her friends Domi and Winnie were going to perform at the talent show. Not at all. If they wanted to make fools of themselves without her, that was their right. She didn’t even want to prance around a stage in a silly costume. But being the good friend she was, she was still here to support them even though their act was undoubtedly going to be embarrassing. She settled into a seat, noticing Jacob Kingsley in a different row but making sure not to make eye contact with him. She was still avoiding him since the incident that had caused her to get detention. The first act was kind of nice, but Diana thought the girl was trying way too hard. One of the two skills she was showing would be enough. She noticed an older boy watching the girl avidly, and recognized him as the boy Domi had pointed out to her as the older who had once rescued her. The girl had a big crush on the prefect, but Diana could tell it was futile. She wasn’t going to say that to Domi, though. She wasn’t quite that cruel.

The second act was horrible, and Diana barely hid her scorn as she watched two first years jump around the stage while rapping badly. They were honestly a disgrace to her house. She grinned slightly when Jacob was told off for booing the prefect. That had been stupid of him. The third act was a girl playing guitar and singing, and Diana had to admit she wasn’t half bad. She clapped loudest for her so far.But she sat up straight when the Heta Omega girl said who would be next. It was time for Domi and Winnie’s act. Annoyingly, they hadn’t revealed much of it to Diana, so she had no real idea what they were going to do. As she watched Domi appear in her costume and lie down on the stage, she had to admit to herself that she was jealous, just a little bit. She knew the talents how only accepted duo acts, but she still wished they had chosen to do something with her rather than with each other. In her mind, she was the leader of their little group. But then again, she didn’t have the drama experience they had. Even with her jealousy and resentment, Diana found herself enjoying their performance. It was nice, even if it was a little bit cringey sometimes too. When Domi and Winnie kissed, her eyebrows raised. They definitely hadn’t told her about that. It may not really count, but a kiss was still a kiss. She hoped they hadn’t beaten her to kissing first with their practice for the show. She had been bragging about her kiss with Edmund to them for a while now. As their monologues came to an end, Domi grabbed a dagger and pretended to stab herself. Diana’s eyes widened as fake blood flooded the stage, way more than was probably realistic to such an act. A snort of laughter escaped her, and she put her hand over her mouth to stifle it. This was so Domi. To end such a nice performance in such a gruesome and attention-grabbing way. She wondered if the adults would disapprove of this, as it did seem a bit much. The blood was on the stage and may have even sprayed some of the people in the audience, which caused Diana to stifle a fresh burst of giggles. Diana applauded dutifully when they bowed, but she couldn’t help glancing at the present professors to see their reactions to this morbid end of the act.

Abian had been happy to hear there would be a talent show in the great hall, as it would surely be fun to watch. He would take pretty much any distraction from his studies, so he found himself in the great hall, watching the show. It was organized by the Heta Omega club, which was basically the girl version of the brotherhood. He thought it was a pretty neat idea and settled in to watch the acts. The only people he knew that were going to perform were Uno and Phineas, and he looked forward to their act. Abian thought the first act was pretty nice, as playing violin and dancing at the same time couldn’t be easy. But the second act was actually really great, and he found himself grinning as he saw Uno and Phineas do their thing. The rap was awesome, and Uno could do pretty cool stuff. He whooped loudly and applauded when they were done. The third act was nice too, and he nodded along to the song the girl was playing. Who knew Hogwarts had so many talented people?

But the fourth act was baffling to him. Two girls were doing some old play. He figured out after a little bit that it was Romeo and Juliet, but the way they were talking was confusing to him and he could hardly understand what they were saying. Couldn’t they have done a modern translation or something? Nothing really interesting happened until the two girls kissed, which made Abian blush and avert his gaze. He glanced back at the stage when the first girl was done and had apparently died, and then the other one woke up and started talking too. He groaned softly, wondering how much longer this would take. Then the girls kissed AGAIN, causing Abian to flush once more. He really couldn’t wait for this to be over as it was just very weird. But when the second girl pretended to stab herself, Abian was startled to see a lot of blood streaming from her ‘wound’. He realized pretty quickly the blood couldn’t be real, but it was still very alarming to see. He edged back slightly in his seat, staring at the strange ending to the performance with a confused expression on his face.

"Sorry, professor" Jacob mumbled as he was told off by the Headmistress. He hadn't realized she was so close or that she would be paying attention to him. Jacob lifted his gaze after a moment and caught Lizzie looking at him. Her thumbs up made him grin again and then he was back to enjoying the acts. There was such a variety of talents here, the funniest so far was when the boy got up and showed off his hands. Jacob didnt think it was much but when he tried to do some of the things the boy had showed off as he waited for the next act to take the stage, he found he couldn't. "Cool" he whispered to himself. The next act was soon onstage, a pair of girls performing some kind of play. Jacob found it a little boring, if he was being honest, until one of the girls pretended to stab herself. At least he thought she pretended until there was blood everywhere. Jacob didn't like the sight of blood and he found himself feeling a bit faint, dropping his hand quickly between his knees. No one else seemed to be running onstage or alarmed at all. It was only when the blood was cleared that he realized it was fake.

When he was asked to take photos of the Heta Omega talent show, Nixon had been nothing short of honored. Being recognized as a photographer outside of his duties with Accio and the Hogwarts Monthly was never something he expected, but he was admittedly welcoming of it as he knew it was a sign he was doing something right, and that he was worthy of good things despite his insecurities telling him the opposite. He wanted to make the most of the opportunity, and arrived to the talent show a little early to take photos of the empty stage. It was only after the show was due to begin that he stood near the side of the room and readied himself to take photos of each performance, thinking that if he was on the sidelines rather than front in center in the audience, it would be the perfect vantage point, where he wouldn't disturb anyone watching the show.

As the first act began Nixon was mesmerized, in awe at the girl's ability to dance and play violin at the same time. Though he recovered from this with enough time to capture photos of her performance, being sure to catch one of her curtsy at the end before she left the stage. The second performance didn't mesmerize Nixon as much as it made him laugh, and he tried to take photos of both the younger students that depicted their pure energy. By comparison the third performance was mellow, but that was the aspect of it he enjoyed, and the fact the girl performing stayed relatively in the same place on the stage ensured the photos of her would turn out great. Nixon adjusted a few of the settings on his camera in time for the fourth performance, pleased that he did when what appeared to be an endless stream of what he assumed was fake blood wouldn't have shown up well in his photos otherwise. Considering how intense that performance had ended, the next person on stage claiming they were double jointed seemed like a breath of fresh air, and Nixon tried his best to take as many photos as possible of the boy's fingers in unusual positions. After that another musical performance was underway and Nixon tried to take an equal amount of photos of each girl playing their respective instruments. Nixon was unsure of exactly how many photos he had taken, but he didn't care as thus far the talent show was everything he hoped it would be. He waited eagerly as the next act was introduced, wondering what kind of talent he would witness next.

Willow could feel herself starting to shake as her cousin gave her a big hug her body was buzzing with leftover adrenaline from the performance. she felt quite proud of herself. sure it wasn't a very surprising act or anything too unusual but she felt like she had done well. "Thanks chante, god that was terrifying" she said sitting down next realising that the next act was already part way through. two girls performing some kind of play in an old version of English. she had missed the start but it seemed like one had found the other dead killed herself then the other cad come to life and killed herself. it wasn't something she was particularly interested in but she was surprised when there was an explosion of fake blood across the stage. she was glad that she had gone before them and hoped that her guitar was safe enough away that it wouldn't get blood on it.
After them came a boy who spent a minute prooving he was double jointed. she wasn't sure if this was a serious act of a comedy act but she couldn't help but laugh. then came two more girls playing a really peaceful piece of music. she felt herself relax and slowly stop shaking as they played. she thought if they had gone much longer she would have fallen asleep. like with all the other acts she applauded as they left the break of music jolting her back into full consciousness.
the next act was another girl playing the violin. the slow music continued to calm her. she wondered why people here were more into classical and soft music. her last school the popular music was more pop or rock. the next act brought back some energy to the stage with two older students doing acrobatics which went well until the boy stacked it at the end. she flinched as he went down hard she hoped he wasn't hurt. they had been a good act. then she recognised one of her classmates come onto the stage and try to emulate the other students by doing a handstand before his sister pushed him over. the appearance of a drum was a good hope that this song would be more willows taste in music. as they started she started bobbing along to the beat. when they finished she clapped the loudest yet. the final act was another of her classmates. athena her dorm mate and another girl from her year from a different house though she couldn't remember which. they started playing and she remembered running into Athena in the music room a few weeks ago, she always seemed so sophisticated at least compared to Willow who was more than a little bit uncivilised at times. it was another slow song but the two were good there was no denying that.
the presenters finally came on saying that they had an interlude when they were going to decide on the winner. and there was food at the back. Suddenly hungry willow was hungry "do you want anything? she asked chante as she got up to get food returning to the seat with a plate filled with a variety of foods and some drink "so other than your incredible cousin which act did you like best" she asked the food making her feel a little more comfortable than she had been and her usual slightly cheeky self returning.
