Y38 Hufflepuff Practice

Amy was a little surprised when Hunter stole the Quaffle from her."Ooo, good one!" she called out to him, flying after him. She watched as Hunter passed it to Rene, and watched Rene score."Great shot, Rene!" She followed after him as he flew around the pitch. Out of the corner of her eye, Amy saw Elliot catch the snitch again. She grinned, and continued flying.

René preened when Amy cheered him on as well, shuffling the quaffle in his hands to make sure he held onto it as he turned his broom. "Hunter, here," he said, passing the quaffle to his teammate, though he could tell the pass was a little wonky even as it left his hands. @Hunter Robinson

Tilly slammed a bludger towards the chasers again. The iron ball crashed into @Hunter Robinson just as Rene was passing the quaffle to him. Tough luck.

Elliot was feeling pretty good with how the team was working together, taking another lap of the pitch to check in with the other players.

“Wooo!! Good Job Rene!” Lillith cheered for Rene when he made the quaffle through the hoops. They were meant to be on seperate teams, but they were still on the same team. She followed closely by as the quaffle was thrown into play.

Tilly's next bludger hit nothing but air.

René grimaced when the bludger hit Hunter, flinching back and having to grab his broom to steady himself. He hoped it wouldn't interfere with Hunter catching his pass.

Elliot was always amazed at how fast the snitch moved. He'd only let it go a few moments ago, but he'd already completely lost sight of it. He shrugged, starting another slow, purposely lap of the pitch.

Lillith sped up and seeing Rene pass the quaffle to Hunter, she intercepted the quaffle and hugged it to her chest, holding onto her broom tightly with her legs. She giggled as she flew on towards the hoops.

René wasn't surprised when Lillith was able to intercept his pass, though it was disappointing. Between the bludger and his wonky throw though, he figured it would have been a miracle if Hunter pulled off catching it. "Sorry, Hunter," he said with a grimace, turning in a stuttering circle to follow Lillith down the pitch.

Elliot decided to fly low for a bit, avoiding where the chasers were duking things out as he scanned for any sign of the snitch closer to ground level.

Amy followed after Lillith after she caught the Quaffle in case she needed to pass.

Lillith continued to fly on, tucking the quaffle under her arm and as soon as she was close enough to the hoops, she threw in the quaffle. It went sailing through the hoops. “Yes!” She shouted and grinned.

Elliot was near the hoops when he heard Lillith cheer, grinning as she celebrated her goal before he continued his search.

As the quaffle was thrown back into play, Lillith caught it and started another lap around the pitch, keeping an eye out for anyone to pass to.

Hunter was about to grab the quaffle that Rene had just thrown him when suddenly a bludger hit him when he wasn't counting on it making him fail to grab the quaffle and making Lilith grab it.
With a sore shoulder the chaser kept playing, "It's alright. I'm getting used to them" he said with a chuckle still massaging his shoulder a bit "Now let's get the quaffle back!" he added to Rene and speeding up towards Lilith.

Lillith kept on flying and seeing a nearby teammate, passed the quaffle to them.

Elliot decided to get a better vantage point again, moving past the rest of the team quickly to get higher above the pitch.

René was relieved that Hunter seemed okay after getting hit, nodding with determination and following after Lillith.

Connor was a bit startled when Elliot darted away from him, but he quickly realised what had happened when the older boy began holding a hand out for the snitch. Connor flew on, keeping an eye on the positions of the bludgers and players, looking for an opening for a shot.

Elliot has lost sight of the snitch but was feeling pretty good. He was glad the team was working well together and took a moment to just enjoy being in the air.

Elliot was definitely doing better than Lucas, as he'd caught the snitch again. He was searching frantically, but caught no sight of the snitch just yet.

René followed doggedly behind Lillith, heart speeding up when he saw her make a pass. Eyes trained on the quaffle, he wasn't even sure who she passed to, just that he was flying forward and grabbing it before they could catch it. He blinked, almost confused to see he'd managed not to drop it in the process, grinning and holding onto it tightly.

Connor flew towards a bludger and swung his bat, watching in a mixture of dismay and relief as the ball flew straight past Lucas, missing him entirely.

Staying alert, Elliot pulled up near Lucas, checking that he was doing alright. "Hey, don't get stuck too much in your head. I know how tempting it is," he offered with a small smile. @Lucas Fletcher
