Y37 Hufflepuff Practice S2

Drifting away from Connor, Elliot turned sharply when he saw something in the corner of his eye, sighing when he realized it was just one of the bludgers.

Tilly wondered what it would be like to hit the Quaffle or the snitch with her beater's bat, but she didn't dare try.

Refocusing, Elliot continued to move across the pitch. He was good at being patient and searching, though he did try to keep an eye on the team as well.

Tilly moved back to offense, knocking a bludger towards her teammates, but she hit no one this time.

Drifting over center field, Elliot paused for a moment to just look about the pitch, feeling his heart leap when he saw movement again further below. He shot down at a sharp dive, trying to keep his eye on it as he descended.

Tilly watched as Elliot dove. Maybe he had seen the snitch? Quickly, her attention was taken away by a bludger nearby. She smashed it towards @Connor Holland, hoping he would return it. However, the bludger had a mind of its own and hit @Abian Hunter instead.

Elliot lost some ground as the snitch darted away and he wasn't fast enough, but he still had it in his sights. Undeterred, Elliot tried to speed up and close the gap.

Tilly was feeling pretty good after her successful bludger hits, although she felt bad for her teammates- well, a little.

Still a little sore from the bludger, Amy caught the Quaffle Hunter passed to her. Deciding to try scoring again, she grinned when the Quaffle passed through the hoop.

Elliot's eyes were trained on the snitch as he snaked past the other players. He briefly lost sight of it as he dodged around one of the chasers, but thankfully didn't loose the trail completely as he shot across the pitch.

Tilly smacked a bludger because she thought it was acting a little rude.

Tilly thought the above-mentioned bludger had learned its lesson. She decided to circle the pitch and protect her teammates for a hot minute.

Still chasing down the snitch, Elliot lost more ground as it banked sharply to the right. Slow to react, he trailed after it, still able to see it, but struggling to keep up.

Tilly thought this was a surprisingly quiet Quidditch practice. She cracked a bludger to wake everyone up.

Elliot wasn't sure if he was imagining the snitch was leading him in circles, but he kept on tailing it, hoping to close the gap between him and it more with each turn.

Tilly zoomed around the pitch and whacked a bludger that was getting too close to the hoops.

Tilly’s bludger hit Lillith in the side, it wasn’t particularly hard but it did almost dislodge her out of place. Luckily, her practicing upside down had given Lillith more arm (and hand?) muscles. She was alright, and gave a slightly nervous grin to Tilly. Lillith watched painfully as others got bludgeoned by bludgers and cheered as Amy’s quaffle made it through.

The snitch doubled-back behind him and Elliot held back a groan as he had to make a tight turn to stay after it. He'd lost track of where the bludgers or Connor and Tilly were and hoped he could make a catch before taking another bludger.

Tilly decided to take a little break from hitting bludgers because her arms were starting to get sore. The pang in her side was much better, though. After a few minutes, she was back to smashing iron.

Lillith caught the quaffle that was thrown back into play and decided to make off with it. Hoping that the chasers would try to steal it from her.

Elliot grinned as he was able to cut the snitch off, chasing it so he was almost within arms reach.

Tilly watched as Lillith snatched the Quaffle and zoomed away. She swatted at a bludger that was nearby and wondered if Lillith would score a goal soon.

Elliot felt like he was about to grab the snitch when it shot upwards, Elliot's own broom carrying him forward well past it. By the time he'd managed to turn around, he'd lost sight of the snitch. Giving a resigned sigh, Elliot resumed trying to hunt it back down.

After his attempt to score, he watched as Lillith attempted it next. He gave her a thumbs up, then observed as Lilith passed it on to Amy, who missed her next goal. Hunter got the quaffle next, and passed it to someone else. Abian failed to see who, because that was the point a bludger hit him. Abian winced and tried to focus on the game again, flying after Lillith in an attempt to get the quaffle from her.

Lucas had been dodging bludgers left and right, but one had finally hit him. it had been Connor, and Lucas tried not to be hurt. He knew it was the beater's job, but it still sucked. He tried to shake it off a bit, and kept looking for the snitch.
