Y37 Gryffindor Practice S1

Moving back towards the hoops Chloë looked to see if she could pass to Sully. When she didn’t see a good opportunity she went for the shot herself, giving Nikko a thumbs up when he managed to stop it rather than getting frustrated her shot didn’t make it.

Sully fist pumped as Chloë was able to make the shot. "Chaser squad dream team right here," He crowed, following after Chloë as she scooped the quaffle up again. He was feeling unstoppable, even as Nikko managed to get another save on Chloë's next shot. They had this season in the bag for sure.

Nikko let out a sigh of relief as he blocked Chloe's shot, grateful he hadn't lost all coordination, especially after that bludger hit. He tossed the quaffle back in, hoping he'd get a few more blocks in before the end of practice.

Lysander flew on to strike a bludger towards Emma, as the only other person with the bat, but his shot went wider than he'd predicted and missed her entirely.

Ahh I’ve been mad busy this week folks sorry for the lack of responses!!

Knox really was off his game, following the quaffle around the pitch with no success, and being unable to support Noel and the rest of team scarlet. It became almost twice as impossible when Knox felt a sudden pain at his side and realized he had been hit with a bludger. Knox hissed at the pain, pausing for a moment to get himself together before he flew on, frowning when team gold scored. Knox caught the quaffle as it was thrown back into the game and kept it tucked under his arm as he began to fly to the other end of the pitch.

Sierra started to move slowly around the pitch again, the adrenaline keeping her going; she knew one more hit and she would be done. Sierra was glad they had chosen such a great alternate seeker, if she was knocked out of a game, she would be 100% confident leaving it in Flynn's hands.

Sully was ready to make another intercept, but hadn't been fast enough to stop Knox, who grabbed the quaffle. Staying on Knox's tail, Sully followed him as they headed down the pitch towards Christian.

He decided to try to fly just a little harder, hoping that maybe he would get a better view of what was going on below him in the hopes he might spot the snitch again to make another catch.

Lysander kept scanning the area for bludgers, though it seemed they were wildly flying about on the other end of the pitch.

Knox noticed Sully was flying close by, and tried to fly faster to get away from, eventually reaching the north hoops. Knox threw the quaffle with all his might to the far left hoop and swore under his breath when his attempt failed. Swerving back to follow whichever chaser caught the quaffle next, Knox tried not to let his failed attempt bother him, as he continued trying his best to ignore the pain in his side.

Sully hung back a bit as Knox managed to get down to the the hoops before he could manage to wrest the quaffle from him. At least Christian managed to block the shot and he grinned as he caught it again, ready to take it back up to the other end of the pitch. "Next one, aye," He called brightly over to Knox, not at all sorry his friend had missed.

Chloë followed Knox and Sully around the pitch, looking for any opportunity to intercept. When there was none and they reached the hoops she watched as Knox's attempt got blocked and Sully grab the quaffle, already turning around to head to the other side of the pitch again.

As much as he wanted to show up Knox and Noel a bit, Sully also didn't want to give Team Scarlet a chance to get their hands on the quaffle. Instead, he passed it over to Chloë, hoping she'd have a clearer shot to get back over to the hoops and score. @Chloe Thompson

Lysander swung his bat once he'd caught up with another bludger, once again targetting the chasers, though it careened off course and into @Solomon Tofilau once again. "Watch out!" He tried to warn, a bit too late.

Chloë easily caught the quaffle when Sully tossed it to her, smiling at him before she pushed forward towards the hoops.

Still no sign of the snitch again, so Flynn continued to simply fly around in the hopes he might catch sight of it soon.

Chloë continued her way to the hoops, keeping an eye out for the other chasers as she did. Once she was close enough she aimed for the left hoop, watching disappointedly as her shot barely missed the hoop.

Lysander continued on, hunting down the next bludger. He could see Chloe in the distance attempt to score, and fail, though they'd been doing well enough that it wasn't too bad.

Sully tried to keep up with Chloë after passing, but he was waylaid by a bludger slamming into him. "Dude," He groaned, clutching at his side as Lysander apologized. Doggedly, he followed a bit further behind Chloë, still trying to back her up. When her shot missed, he hung back, hoping they could nab the quaffle again.

A glint of gold caught Sierra's eye and she zoomed towards it, but it seemed to notice her as it zoomed away. Ignoring the pain, Sierra wasn't going to let it go as she got closer. Finally, she caught up, closing her fist around the little ball, holding it up. "Got it!" She called out, happy to finally redeem herself. Closing her eyes, Sierra let it loose again, counting to ten before opening her eyes and starting her journey again.

Noel flew along and tried to keep up with Chloe and Sully, but they were good he knew. He was glad they were doing so good, because he liked the competition ofcourse, but they were one team. When Knox tried and failed he gave the boy an small smile, When Chloe missed Noel saw an chance to get the quaffle. He flew away with it as it was tossed back and got it from Nikko. The boy had a lot to endure for sure. And he wanted to give Christian an good shot. He tried to shake away Minnie and the sadness he had for them breaking up.

Chloë waited for the quaffle to be thrown back after her failed attempt, watching as Noel caught it. Once he did she shot after him.

He caught sight of Sierra going for the snitch a moment too late, cursing under his breath for not noticing before she did. But he still smiled, "Nice catch, Cap!" The next one would just have to be his when he managed to find it.

Emma focused on the bludgers, trying not to let her frustration show. It didn't take long for her to be distracted, as a lot was happening on the pitch. Bludgers were hitting people, and then Sierra caught the snitch. Emma cheered for her, then chased after a bludger again.

Sully shot after Noel as he caught the quaffle, flying along side Chloë to see if they could pin or tackle him and regain it. He slowed down some when he heard a commotion, impressed that Sierra had the snitch, even if technically she was on the other practice team.
