Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation ceremony has concluded.

Claudia couldn't believe she was here again, this time for Alice's graduation. Her daughter had grown into a beautiful and strong young lady, and Claudia was proud even if it felt like it had happened way too quickly. It was so easy to remember how her daughter had looked when they had first dropped her off at the platform. Claudia was determined not to cry today, but she knew it would be difficult. She took James' hand in her own as the ceremony began, squeezing once Alice stepped forward to give her speech. Claudia listened intently, incredibly proud of her. She applauded loudly, then listened to the speech of the Head Boy as well, a boy she knew Alice was friends with. Then the ceremony went on to the graduates receiving their diplomas, and Claudia had to wipe away a tear when she watched Alice accept hers. She couldn't wait until the ceremony was over so she could hug her daughter tight.

Lars felt vaguely uncomfortable at these events, like he wasn't supposed to be here. He still wasn't used to being a prefect, and he didn't really know any of the graduates that well, besides Ava. Even worse, he knew he'd be there next year, which was a terrifying thought. As Vader Hume gave the Head Boy speech, Lars could only cross his fingers and hope he wouldn't have to do that next year. But he glanced over at Elliot, who seemed a more likely candidate. He knew this had to be tough for Elliot, with his girlfriend graduating. But this wasn't the time to say anything to him, so Lars focused on the ceremony instead, trying very hard not to think about next year.

Padme hadn’t told any of her family what she was thinking, she wasn’t sure yet if she’d do it, but she would wait and see, maybe see if she got in first and then if she did cross the bridge that she needed to. But today wasn’t about her, it was about Vader, it was about her brother finally graduating and leaving school. She was sitting with Leia, arm in arm as she spotted Vader at the front, she pointed Leia in that direction but had to immediately then settle down as things got started. She applauded loudly as the two approached the stage, she hadn’t known Alice as well as she’d come to know other friends of her brothers, like Ava who was an honorary sister. She applauded loudly for the head girl, it had been a sweet speech certainly it had been something from the heart. Padme smiled for her brother, beaming with pride over how far they had come. She rolled her eyes as the head boy seemed to move to take a huge picture but she got in a position and then loudly with others said, ”Congratulations class of 2053,” padme clapped loudly as his speech ended. She cheered happily for them both and then more politely for others. She didn’t applaud for Ilija but cheered loudly for Vader and Ava. She’d be sad to see them leave the school, but she was thinking about transferring….so what could she really say. Now that proceedings were over she was up and out of her seat intent to go find her brother and congratulate him.

Elliot had gone to the graduation ceremony before, but this year was so much different than last year. He actually knew a lot of the graduates, William, and Abian, not just Alice, which made today a more melancholy affair than Elliot had really been ready for. He felt like he'd been counting the days down with Alice until this point and it was surreal for it to finally arrive. But he tried to steel himself as Alice was invited up to speak, clapping and giving her a small smile as she caught her eye before she'd began. He'd heard the first few drafts of her speech already, but it was different to hear it now, speaking the end of her time here into a reality. Elliot wanted to be happy for her, and he was really, he couldn't be more proud of Alice, or of the other graduates, but as much it was a beginning, as Alice had said in her speech, Elliot's brain was getting caught up far too much on the parts that were ending. He did his best to pay attention through the rest of the ceremony, clapping as Vader's speech ended and it was time for each student to collect their diploma's, but really Elliot could barely wait till the ceremony was over and he could speak to Alice again.

Kami was excited to go to Ava's graduation, though she was sure it was an emotional time for both the girl and her father. She held on to Avarian's arm as they apparated to the castle, smiling up at the building in awe. It must be very exciting to go to school somewhere so beautiful. She followed her husband inside, taking their seats easily and placing her hand in his. "She really has grown up to be a beautiful woman, Avarian," she turned to smile up at him, squeezing his hand. She clapped for Ava's friends, Alice and Vader, as they gave their speeches. She'd met them both several times, though she had seen much more of Vader since he lived so much closer. She smiled, cheering a bit for Ava as she walked up to get her diploma, chuckling softly as she saw the girl crying. Ava really was such a wonderful child, Kami was really going to miss her when she went abroad for a year with Vader.

Leia had never been to a graduation before, she hadn’t been sure what to expect, but the crowd of varying people wasn’t what she had really expected. She could see the ministry of magic and really hadn’t realised the connection between the head girl and that woman. Leia wanted to go introduce herself but was pulled away by Padme. She let herself be guided to a seat by Padme and didn’t take long to spot Vader and she did so the moment before Padme had then pointed her in that direction. Leia nodded and smiled in agreement but there wasn’t any opportunity to go over to him since things got underway. Leia applauded more politely than her sister not wanting to make a scene. She though Alice’s speech was a little sappy but she could understand why. She didn’t think she’d have a problem graduating but she was a while from it. At her brother’s speech she was a little more enthusiastic, leaning forward to listen better and wasn’t too surprised when of course his photographer of a brother decided he wanted to take a picture of this moment. She leaned slightly into Padme to be in the picture and repeated the phrase out loud though perhaps a little quieter than most to avoid looking back in this picture though she was sure no one would ever be able to spot her. After that the names were called and she applauded politely for all the students, though of course loudest for her brother and Ava whom she knew very well. And soon the whole things was over. She wondered what it would feel like to all of a suddenly have it be done and over.

Aisa hadn't been sure what to expect of graduation, but it wasn't exactly surprising her. She had chosen to sit close to the group of prefects, as one of those prefects was her girlfriend. But she tried her best to actually focus on the ceremony, knowing it would be important to her brother. It was strange to Aisa that Abian was actually graduating, even if she'd known he would eventually. She felt a vague sense of regret about not spending a lot of time with him at Hogwarts, something that was definitely because of her. But she also felt immensely proud of him, even if she wasn't exactly good at showing it. After all the speeches, everyone got their diploma in turn. It didn't take all that long for Abian to get his turn, and Aisa cheered for him loudly, standing up to clap for him. She normally never drew attention to herself like this, but she did want Abian to know she was proud of him. Maybe she would even tell him so after the ceremony.

Jayce didn’t want to attend Amaya’s graduation. Well, he did, since she was his baby girl, but going to the ceremony meant admitting that she was now an adult. That said, he was there to support her. He entered the Great Hall hand-in-hand with his wife. They found seats in the middle of the guest section and got comfortable. He smiled over at Emily, trying not to get too emotional before the thing even started.

Jayce looked for Amaya, grinning when he found her among the group of students. She looked stoic and mature. He listened to the speeches and thought the group photo was a nice touch. He wondered what James would think of that. Jayce applauded when the speeches concluded, watching as Amaya walked up to receive her diploma. No, he didn’t want to be here- but he wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Emily was in denial that her Amethyst was graduating. That meant that Jasper was graduating next year, and that meant that she was old. She shook her head, laughing lightly and looking over at her husband. She reached over, slipping her hand over his knee and squeezing after they'd sat down. "Easy, old man, ya look a lil weak in tha knees," she teased him, rubbing her thumb over his knee reassuringly. She looked up then, watching as their daughter graduated and smiling happily. She knew Amaya had had a rough time lately, and she was glad her daughter was moving up in the world.

Adorah felt a little uncomfortable attending graduation. She didn't really know any of the seventh years, and there were so many people that had to talk and give speeches. Thankfully, she knew or was friends with most of the prefects, and Aisa was nearby to support her brother. She gave her girlfriend a smile and couldn't help when she cheered for Abian. Adorah had never met him, but the shared surname kind of clued her in. Supporting each of the graduates with her applause, she wondered what it would feel like to walk across the stage in two years. She wondered if Nadia would come or if her mom and dad might actually support her for once. She was sure they would show up for Juniper, something that she was still bitter about even if the sisters had resolved their relationship. At the end of of the ceremony, she awkwardly hung out in a corner until she could find an appropriate moment to leave.

Attending graduation had long become just part of the rhythm of Hogwarts life, along with feasts and dances, and usually Maria attended mostly out of courtesy, or to farewell now former clients heading out into the world to begin their adult lives. This year was different, though. Though she had already watched two of her children graduate, it never got any easier. It was hard to focus on the speeches, memories of the guarded but lively little girl she had welcomed into her heart rushing through her mind. Emily was a young woman now, ready to set off on her own path. She stood and applauded loudly when Emily took to the stage, not caring if she embarrassed her daughter. For all the difficulties in Emily's life she had come so far, and Maria's heart swelled with pride. With only one child left at Hogwarts now, Maria looked forward to seeing what Emily made of herself in future.

The end of another year at Hogwarts was always bittersweet. As much as Kahurangi enjoyed the prospect of a holiday, and the promise of new students next year, it was impossible to sidestep the farewell inherent to the process. Kahurangi had been in her role long enough that it wasn't only the Runes students she was saying goodbye to, but her Ravenclaws as well. As much as she knew her students were off to better, brighter things, it still hurt to no longer see them around the castle. She listened to the speeches, particularly tickled by Vader's. She had known him as an excellent student, and had no doubts the Head Boy was off to bigger and brighter things. As the graduates began to be called she clapped for each one, wondering what the world had in store for this year's class of Hogwarts graduates.

The last couple of years had gone by in a blur, and yet it felt like no time at all had passed since Charlie's own graduation. Being back at Hogwarts felt strange, like stepping into a different life entirely. But today was about Emily, a thought that was even stranger to Charlie. Ever since they had been children, Charlie had never had a doubt that Emily was going to have an amazing life. She was just the kind of person people liked, it was what had brought the two of them together as friends as children. Only seeing Emily in the holidays the last couple of years had been strange, and Charlie was absolutely ready for the two of them to finally be out in the adult world together. Watching Emily take to the stage and accept her diploma Charlie was filled with pride, giving an uncharacteristically loud cheer.

Being at graduation was strange. Finn hadn't attended Charlie or Odette's graduations but he was here today, sat between the two of them as they all waited to watch Emily graduate. Somehow, that thought just hadn't sunk un for Finn yet. Once Emily was gone, he would be the only one of the four of them left at Hogwarts. Left behind once again, just like when Emily had started school. It was hard not to be a little melancholy about that. He did his best not to show it though, listening politely to the speeches and clapping for each one in turn. As the train of graduates began to make their way across the stage, Finn felt any envy he might have held at not being invited to Odette or Charlie's graduation melt away. This was boring. He supposed it wasn't for the graduates themselves, as some seemed to be crying, but Finn quickly found himself zoning out, only snapping his attention back when he heard his sister's name. Even Charlie was cheering for Emily so he clapped loudly, answering Charlie's loud cry with one of his own. Emily had really graduated. She was an adult, and Finn was about to be all alone at school.

James had thought he was used to his daughters' graduations by now, but somehow even the fourth time around it felt bizarre. This was different, he supposed. Although that was no longer the case, for a very long time Alice had been the baby of the family, their little girl. It felt surreal to watch her take the stage, a young woman ready to begin her adult life. His heart swelled with pride as he listened to her speech, squeezing Claudia's hand back tightly and knowing his wife felt the same pride he did. Each of their daughters had proven an amazing young woman in their own rights, and there was no doubt in his mind that Alice would go on to do incredible things. James had only just begun to collect himself from her speech when Alice was called to the stage again to accept her diploma, and he quietly went to pieces all over again. His little princess, all grown up.

Cyzarine loved graduation and it was not at all making her nervous that the next one that she would go to would be her own graduation. It was just so nice to celebrate in the success of her fellow students. Cyzarine sat in amongst the other prefects keenly watching the stage. She cheered loudly as the headmistress started proceedings and then for the head boy and girl who approached the stage. She listened to both speeches, easily tearing up at the head girl’s speech and finding herself enjoying getting into the picture for the other one. It was unique. She applauded for them both and then all of the students who crossed the stage, she’d gotten to know a few of them and knew others by proxy. It was such a nice event and she couldn’t really wait for her own though it would be sad to leave hogwarts. It would be good too!

Coming to a school event was entirely new again for Avarian. He had been an absentee father all of Avaria's life. Having her back and coming to terms with all of her issues and having all his other kids made the man realize he had missed so much. The twins' milestones and all those other stuff with Arthur, Emily and Ava. He wanted to make things right which brought him here. With Kami in his arm and the kids at Evelyn's, they apparated just outside the school borders and quickly made their way inside. He smiled as he noted his wife's amazement at the place. It was not that special to him but of course, everything is entirely magical for her.

They took their seats, a hand on Kami's knee. The place was packed which was normal for a wizarding event. The program promptly started with speeches from their head people. He was even proud of his daughter's best friend as Head Boy. He clapped along and watched as each of Ava's friends came up the stage. Until it was her little girl's turn. He could not help but stood up and clapped the hardest. He did not care if people were staring at him. It was the only way he could do so as not to break tears at that moment.

Professor Sarah Harrington put on her witches' hat that best went with her robes and made her way to the Great Hall for the graduation ceremony. The Headmistress did a wonderful job opening the ceremony and she couldn't help but feel a since of pride as Vader Hume took to the stage. She had taught him in Astronomy every year of his schooling here at Hogwarts, and while for her younger students that might just seem how it was, when she first started teaching here and indeed first taught Vader, she herself hadn't thought she would take him and the rest of his class and following years all the way through their Astronomy lessons. It was a honor to install upon them a love for the sky and also teach them other things no one else in the other classes here taught them. She thought his idea for a final photo with his fellow graduates and all the attendees was a rather sentimental gesture and quite sweet. Looking over at the other students who all took Astronomy at some point she smiled and bide them a good and successful future.

Bada felt nervous even though it wasn't even her turn to graduate yet. Still just a sixth year but she took her place dutifully as a Prefect and attended the ceremony. Watching the speeches by the Head Boy and Head Girl Bada felt relief knowing there were many better choices for the positions rather than herself in her year. She had a feeling that her counterpart, Elliot, would be Head Boy. She wondered looking to him if he felt the same or if he was pushing the thought of it from his mind. The girl was happy to be graduating next year and able to move on and continue her life and find a career that suited her. Her older brother Cullen was already doing so as an Astronomer and living with Corrine. It was strange, having come to this country as an immigrant, her father being offered a job here and then coming to this school where it was filled with students from all over the world. She felt Hogwarts New Zealand was truly the most unique of all the schools you could attend in the world. She cheered with the rest of the crowd at the end of the Head Boy's speech and watched as all the 7th years took their turn going across the stage, and she clapped for most of them until her hands began to hurt too much. And waited until she'd otherwise be able to go back to her dorm to finish packing for the holidays.

Yvonne felt a bit strange attending graduation. She had just started and hardly knew any of the students who would be walking across the stage. But it didn't dull the pride she felt for them and their accomplishments. She listened to the speeches and thought the Head Girl's was sweet and she smiled when Vader stood up to give his. She was glad she had gotten to know the Head Boy at least a little bit during his time in her class and Yvonne hoped she had made lessons at least bearable for him. She made sure to cheer along with the rest of the attendees when he took his photo and the rest of the students made their way to collect their diplomas. She clapped for each one, happy to see them off.

Sydney had plenty of places she'd rather be than listening to some boring speeches for a bunch of students she cared little for. But Ava was graduating today too, and as much as Sydney envied her for being done with this place, she was admittedly a little sorry to see one of the few decent intellects in the school leaving her. Sydney stretched as the speeches finished, waiting impatiently as the graduating class began traipsing across the stage for their worthless diplomas, only glancing up when it was finally Ava's turn to collect hers. It wasn't like she was going to miss the other girl that much, but Sydney didn't want to waste a chance to speak to her before the year ended. It wasn't a big deal, she thought bitterly, clapping half-heartedly as Ava left the stage and someone else was called up next.

It was surreal to be back here again. Being a Hogwarts student both felt like it had been ages ago, and like it had only been yesterday. Odette could distinctly remember her own sorting ceremony, though this one certainly had a less interesting head boy speech. Odette was sitting next to her mother, looking at her from the corner of her eye. She knew this might be a bit difficult for Maria, especially as she worked at school and would see her daughter a whole lot less. Odette gently put her hand on her arm and looked at the stage as Emily got her diploma, then let go to applaud and cheer for her sister. She was very proud of her, and didn't doubt she would do amazing things.

Kace wasn't sure why he decided to come to the graduation ceremony. Besides him being a prefect, really there was no reason for him to be there. No reason at all...which is what he was telling himself over and over again, yet, somehow he was here. Whether he wanted to admit it to himself or not, there was a reason for him to be here. A legit reason to be here. While he ponders in silence if he should really be here or not, he sees Elliot and his brother, Baron. They were here because they had titles, other titles. A title he used to have and now, he just feels all lost...and wonders if he misses title that they have. It's a strange place in his head at the moment, though he distracts himself simply by watching her go up the stage to collect her diploma. She's beautiful. Man, he screwed up. She's lovely.

Damn, I wish you were mine.

Amaya had just settled into her seat again, when she thought she felt eyes on her. She turned her head, curious, and for a moment she met his gaze. Her cheeks reddened and she looked away. What was he doing here? Did he have a friend in the class? She couldn't recall. She knew Baron had Jenna and Elliot had Alice, but she hadn't expected him to be here. Her heart twisted a little in her chest, a dull throbbing she had long since grown accustomed to. Well, whatever it was, it was most likely nothing to do with her. She had set aside her more fanciful daydreams long ago. She shifted and let her blond hair fall like a curtain, shutting him out and outside of her view. She had fought too hard for too long for people that had never cared to do the same. She felt no real desire to do it again, content for now in fighting for herself. She held her diploma a little tighter in her hands, letting a slow plan come to life in her mind. She had work to do.
