Malfoy Manor

"It's only my nature-" Vladmir snarled, "To silence those, especially with impure blood." After he was released from Lief's foot, he promised quietly, "You're going to regret that. You call yourself a death eater, and yet protect a filthy half blood? You're a phony, both you and Tristan." He dusted off his jacket, turning up his nose at the two girls.

Attempting to wipe away the tears dried on her face, she glared at Vladmir. He reminded her of someone, with all of his pure blood talk. She gritted her teeth, trying to regain a wavering composure.

Liz continued to hold Estrella, rocking her back and forth. "They're not worth our words. Shhh. Don't say anything to them. They two of us will talk later."

She turned to continue glaring, silently.

"As charming as this whole situation is, it is going to end; now," Lucius snarled quietly. "I would advise you two to stop fighting, Vladmir, I accept your views but you just need to shut up. And Lief; back off."

"Escort these girls into their rooms, and if it takes a little, how should I say it, urging to do so, I permit you to use it." He turned up his nose at the girls. "I will permit you one half hour of the day to talk, and no less. Your conversations will be monitored." He turned to the other death eaters. "If there is no objection, Lief and Lissandra can take over posts right now. Vladmir, I believe you're a little too violent to be given a job just yet."

"Why should I care?" Vladmir sneered. "They're just brats anyway. And you couldn't exactly call me violent, now could you, Lucius?" He turned his heel and disappeared from the corridor.

She nodded. "No urging needed from either of us." she stood, and began to walk into her room. "We know the way." she took Estrella's hand, bringing her along with her. She stopped infront of Estrella's room, and whispered. "Don't let them provoke you. We'll be okay." she waited for Estrella's agreement.

Estrella nodded. With a last look at Liz she walked into her room, the door slammed behind her and locked with magic. She flopped onto her bed and wondered what in the world they were going to do.

Liz took several more steps, before stopping infront of her room.

"If any of you are planning of informing us why we're here, by all means, stop by. I'll avoid rudeness if you avoid cursing me."

She opened her door, and walked in, closing it quietly.

"So catty, your granddaughter," Garett sneered. "I wonder why she wasn't in Slytherin. Kind of a shame she's a Gryffindor." He turned and walked away after Vladmir, Arcturus at his side.

Lucius turned to Lief, placing the enchantments on the doors. "Tristan should be here within the week?" He started to hobble away on his cane, still looking at the Norwegian man.

"I suppose so," Lief said quietly. "He worries me though... he drifts around too much." He watched as everyone else walked away, and he took his post opposite Lissandra.

Liz sat on the bed, holding a pillow to her chest. There were three things that could cheer her up right now. Friends, quidditch, or parseltongue. The first two weren't options at the moment, so she practiced her parseltongue.

Stupid death eaters. she hissed at the pillow. More dangerous than usual, since they have an agenda that I don't know about. she hit her head on the pillow. Not to mention, Vladmir is disgusting. I hope he's not here often.

Garett could not believe what he was hearing. He understood Parseltongue, and was recognizing it for what it was on the other side of Elizabeth Malfoy's door. Deciding to investigate, risking his post, he turned into a slender green lizard, and slipped under the crack of the door. On the other side, he said in Parseltongue, startling the girl, "Yeah, Vladmir is questionable when it comes to hygeine." He grinned maliciously at the girl.

Liz jumped, and turned to the door. She saw the little lizard on the floor, and looked at it curiously. "Do you live here?" she asked. Laughing quietly, she added "His hair looks like he brushed through it with oil."

Liz scooted back, and threw the pillow at him. "Ugh, you death eaters really do crawl out of walls!" she glared, and then her eyes flashed with a brief moment of fear. "Don't tell them I speak parseltongue." she said, keeping her voice even, but her eyes were wide.

Garett laughed, a sort of hiss. "Why would I tell them that? I've never talked with another Parseltongue before. They're rare. Hehe, and it makes the situation to keep you guys here even more serious..."

Liz wasn't sure if she could trust him about this. She knew she couldn't trust him in general "Alright..." she trailed off.

After a moment, she bit her lip, and sat back down on the bed. "What situation is keeping us here?" she asked him.

Liz raised an eyebrow. "You're a Slytherin, right? Can't you find a loophole or something?" she sighed. "You must know something, right? Vague details, or who the secret keeper is?"

"Yah, right. Slytherins also don't back down on their own friends. I've known you for what, two minutes? You're just trying to fool me. I'm not a stupid person, you know." He smiled back, and for some reason, he did not regret not slapping Liz back in the face either.

Liz laughed. "Which one of that lot is a friend of yours? You seem at least a bit more decent than some of them, Vladmir for example." she turned to the left, at the wall between her's and Estrella's room. "Gryffindors never turn on a friend either, and my friend needs help. She's been through more than enough this year."

"Unfortunately, I can't aid you in that situation. As far as I know, no one is out to hurt her. I don't know what Tristan is planning to do, to tell you the truth. Keep her from school? That would be insane. He'd have the whole ministry of magic on his arse. And Lief, his half brother. They're both pretty decent, if you ask me, aside from the fact that they're death eaters. Wait a minute- Why I am telling you all of this?" He hardened his expression, reluctant to reveal any more.
