BIRTH STORYIvelisse was born a couple of weeks to early. The pregnancy had already been a difficult one and she had already been taken into hospital. Because she was born a couple of weeks early Ivelisse was extremely small when she was born, which led to her having to be taken away from her mother so she could be cared for and kept warm.
ZODIAC
Aries. Aries people have a great instinct for what needs to be done, and once you decide what it is, then it is full steam ahead. Aries can come across as arrogant but it is only because they have incredible confidence in their ability to get things done. Being the first sign of the zodiac Aries’ are often natural leaders who take initiative and do not like being told what to do. Charming. She won't be mean to others for no reason, instead trusting upon politeness and friendliness to get what she wants.
Competitive. This trait can be linked to her ambitiousness. Iva has this need to be the best and the tendency to turn anything that can be turned into a competition into one, just because she wants to win, perform better than others.
Impulsive. Ivelisse can be quite impulsive at times, especially if she is being challenged. If she get herself into trouble though she'd try to work her way out with her charm. A little lie for her own sake isn't out of the question either.
Sociable. Iva is someone who is in general fun to be around, happy to be creating social contacts.
Strong-willed. She has a powerfull will. If she wants something she will try her best to get it, which is often connected to her competetiveness and her will to win, be the best.
Self-interested. Even though Ivelisse is a social person and can genuinely be a good friend she will not hesitate to put her self-interest first when push comes to shove.
OVERALL PERSONALITYIvelisse at her core is a social person, even if she might not be as outgoing as others. She doesn't particularly care what anyone thinks of her but will try to make a good impressions anyways. Her time at Hogwarts didn't go anywhere near how she had planned it to go and it has definitely changed her. She used to be incredibly competetive but this trait has slowly started to fade away after being let down again and again. She still wants to be good in what she does but the idea of being the best has long been discarded. Acting like she still has it all together has become a quality of hers over time and she'll try her best not to easily let on whenever she's not doing alright.

She used to do gymnastics when she was little but quit during her time at Hogwarts, where she took up quidditch. Ive loved quidditch and still does, but not making a professional team has impacted her relationship with the sport and she now mainly sticks to running rather than flying.

Ivelisse went to a muggle school for barely a year before she started showing signs of magic when she was five. She then quickly switched from attending a muggle school to joining a small group of homeschooled wizarding kids in their neighbourhood. When she turned eleven she received her admittance letter to Hogwarts New Zealand.

Ivelisse was born on the 22nd of March, 2042 to Joseph and Emilia Burleigh in the hospital near their family home in Rotorua, New Zealand. Just like her sister Ive was born a couple of weeks to early, but since her mother had been having some health issues during the pregnancy she was already taken into hospital before Ivelisse was born. She had an easy time growing up, always being taken care of or looked after by her parents as well as her sister. One of the best parts was the family vacation they took to Spain every year. However, her parents got divorced when she was around seven years old and they stopped taking the vacations after that. After the divorce both Burleigh girls were assigned to live with their father, which was the obvious choice since their mother's job caused her to be overseas a lot. Iva has always had more difficulty with the divorce than Ana Sofia had, which has done quite some damage to the relationship she has with her mother. It also had an impact on her personality as it thought her that not everything is meant to be. In contrast to her sister Ivelisse was quite quick in showing her magical abilities, starting to show signs of magic when she was five years old. After showing signs of magic abilities Ivelisse switched from attending a muggle elementary school to being homeschooled by a teacher in their neighbourhood together with some other kids. She had been waiting on her acceptance letter to Hogwarts for several years and is reliever he time has finally come to show everyone what she's made of.
